Biotects:

Biotects, created with the last 50 years, have advanced quickly from within the past 50 years. Fully humanoid, they are synthenetics that are fully capable of emotions, thinking, acting on their own, and performing all sorts of duties. The first few were made by CorSec - aka Tora - before the Corporations took over and began to corrupt the concept. Biotect Models I - V are rather unremarkable but beginning with VI things began change and one could hardly tell things apart from humans.

Mark VI models began to have emotions installed to allow them to work more efficently though they were primitive. And make the sex better, some would say. But the VI models had the habit of going insane.

Mark VII perfected upon VI and one could hardly tell things apart with humans, able to sweat, get hungry, etc. Mark VIII was the latest model for ages, with ability to bleed, etc and had half organic parts. This continued for ages, and work on Mark IX were continuing until the current crisis occurred.

That is until the Macros leader kidnapped the woman who would become the Cypher leader, and used her body to make the Biotect Model X. Able to have babies, is almost entirely organic, but is essentially a Biotect, Asarar revolutionized the Biotect program. She was used as the protype to restore Ymir, who had an illness that was killing her, and the Biotext X program was used on her to restore her.

Now the Biotect Mark X program is out there and not only is making new Biotects, but it can be used on people, making them into Biotects - mostly used in medical situations for dying patients, due to the extreme amount of cost it takes to both revert the person to the Model X and make one.

Biotects primarily are located on Kumen, though some are now living on Geyze and Earth.

Biotect Lifespans: Biotect Mark X - 200 years of age, Mark VIII and lower 400.

Racial Ability: Download: Biotect, especially Mark Xs, are almost human, they still are linked to computerized parts. This allows Biotects to attempt any computer easier (skipping the OG) or attempt to take control of machines of any sort to by downloading into them for 2 turns.
