Ents/Venus

The Ents, Venus, and their hybrid children the Aents have a complicated history together that has slowly begun to mend over the past 5 years. When Gnome made the Ents she inadverantly made the Venus as well, and claimed both as her children, but since both were so radically different war and hard feelings cropped up.

While both races are female looking, the Ents are beautiful, green skinned, and with plant/leaf like hairs and prefer sunlight when it appears down from the Great Forest trees, and during the lifetime only take 2 mates in their entire life time, producing 4 children, making their numbers less than the Venus.

The Venus are darker skinned, more exotic, but have a more monsterous look in some ways, preferring the darkness, do not care for the sun, and can have multiple mates because 7 our of 10 times their mate does not survive. It helps if they care for the mate because they can try to help the odds, but it is still a slight gamble every time, just lowering it from 7 out of 10 times.

The Aents are the hybrid children that results when some Ents and Venus had children one day, bucking the odds despite their two kinds not liking each other. When one day the current leaders, Leaf and Cassava revealed they liked each other, they brought the Aents back into the combined community. Both because they wanted to join the Alliance, but also because it is believed the Aents re the key to the Venus not having a high mate fatality. If that is fixed, it might fix both their problems - the Venus have more in their population compared to the Ents, after all.

So far Cassava and Leaf's mating have not killed the other at least, and have produced one child.

Plant Lifespans: Various on conditions but believed to be 800 possibily

Racial Ability: Leaf: The Ent/Venus/Aent can surround themselves in leaf armor, protecting themselves from damage for a brief time, allowing them to undergo 5 strikes that might otherwise be highly fatal. Once the leafs are blown away, it leaves them vulnerable. Warning, fire attacks will not work on the armor.
