<DeathStar> *Gwen is trying some food from the Daemon Realm*
<DeathStar> *Sylph zooms around the place*
<Seraphna> **Jaime pops in and stretches a bit, covered in just mud**
<Alicia> * Sparkling is relaxing, mostly. She's a lot more confident since the big fight
<DeathStar> *Sabrina seems to be trying to use her powers to locate the Blood Magi, hanging over a map with another Maka that has stayed behind*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *is in her lab, studying the magic in the blood samples taken from the escape site*
<DeathStar> *Neekito returns from hunting, looking ragged*
<DeathStar> *while the blood in Lana's lab bubbles on her*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh likewise studies the blood... did you expect anything *else* from her?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Oh, this one is lively."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Blood doesn't normally bubble like that."
<Seraphna> **Jaime takes a seat after getting some tea**
<Seraphna> **Talia reaches out and sneaks some of Gwen's food**
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Hey, my mysterious food X
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh..." *tries to separate the magic from the blood*
<DeathStar> *A moment or two later, the lab with Ceilidh and Lana explodes in blood*
<DeathStar> *Celes and Selena turn their heads*
<DeathStar> *Sylph lifts Ellie up and tosses her toward the lab* Ellie attack
<Sara> <Ellie> H-Hey!
<DeathStar> *Sylph catches her with wind so she doesn't land in blood*
<DeathStar> *Celes carefully approaches the lab, seeing the two all red*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...I had suspected that it might be explosive magic... but its volatility surprised me..."
<Alicia> * Ceilidh waves, seemingly unphased by being covered in blood
<Seraphna> **Jaime peers out, then carves a path to walk without walking in the blood**
<DeathStar> *Shin approaches from her class, still in her uniform and short shirt. She pokes them with her scythe*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "On the plus size, this did create a larger sample size..."
<Jackieness> side
<DeathStar> <Shin> You smell of blood
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "That would be because we're covered in it."
<DeathStar> *Sylph turns toward Ellie* Have Lana and Ellie become weirder?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Explosively so."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "It feels like everything became weirder."
<DeathStar> *Zayne in the background is showing Sunny how to use her wand in various methods*
<Sara> <Ellie> Huh?
<DeathStar> <Celes> Well, I think you may have gotten your sample. *Something seems to have become seperated from the blood*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh looks over the something
<DeathStar> *it's glowing*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *goes to collect the sample for analysis*
<DeathStar> *Lumi hurries on scene* We have an emergency. Everyone to the meeting room. *she hurries that way*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh?"
<DeathStar> *Celes bows and follows; with Selena standing and following along. Gwen eyes the food, and just shoves the rest in Talia's mouth*
<Seraphna> **Talia vacuums it up**
<Alicia> * Ceilidh ensures that the sample is properly collected, and that the blood is otherwise inert before leaving
* Ariel has joined #TAW-Geyze
<Jackieness> <Lana> *does likewise*
<DeathStar> *Lumi sits at the head of the meeting room as the others come in, Selena and Celes taking their usual seats and Gwen kicking back in any random one. Sabrina and the Maka find some seats*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *is already seated next to Lumi*
<Alicia> * Sparkling does likewise, looking more rested than she has in days
<Jackieness> <Lana> *arrives, looking...messy to say the least."
<DeathStar> <Lumi> Alright, we may have had a break in looking for the Blood Mages. *Neekito sits, looking exhausted, likely having been pushing herself in the search for days*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh arrives a moment after, looking just as blood covered. "...we also had an emergency. Sorry."
<Seraphna> **Jaime sits, Threna appearing with some files**
<DeathStar> <Lumi> *she eyes the two for a moment, staring* Um, right. Anyway, the few Maka that remain on the planet have been looking for the Makai as you know and have reported some of their number missing. As well as some of the Makai missing. It's near locations we believe the Blood Magi might have been.
<DeathStar> <Celes> And what does this mean?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Maybe the Blood Mages are kidnapping them for some purpose...?"
<DeathStar> <Lumi> I agree
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "... this feels sus."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Can't be anything good. If I get the concept of Blood Magic, highly magical blood must be very powerful for their casting.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Weren't they supposed to be trying to prevent the magic eater?"
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Why would they still need Maka?"
<DeathStar> <Celes> They perhaps were trying to - if the Maka and Makai died, then they couldn't do something
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well, the eater is gone... so maybe they are just returning back to type."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Sneaky! Making their scheme look like pure altruism!"
<DeathStar> *Shin huffs, pulling her skirt further down, not realizing she could just sit cross legged* Shall I go kill them?
<Seraphna> **Jaime leans over and whispers to her, being nice and telling her about the leg crossing**
<DeathStar> *Zayne considers that while Shin jerks learns to sit properly*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I don't think we need to kill anyone... and we should avoid it if we ever can."
<DeathStar> <Zayne> ... *feels the few Maka's eyes on her*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "That applies to people wanting to kill Zayne though."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Even from a practical stance, dead people aren't very useful."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Nico is wise and smart as always."
<DeathStar> *the Maka turn toward Sparkling and Nico*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I think I could track them if I had something of their's.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> But they keep using spells to make it harder
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Would it be blood magic to use their blood as the something?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...ahhh..what about a physical sample of their blood magic?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> *points* "Psyche! You owe me a soda!"
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I could take a look at this sample
<Jackieness> <Lana> "We can show it to you."
<DeathStar> *Neekito rises; meanwhile* <Lumi> We should form a small group to go with Neekito after she takes a look; who all wants to do this. We'll be fighting Blood Mages.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I think that's outside my field of speciality.
<Seraphna> Talia> I'm good at spankings and absorbing Mana.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I seem to be the ass kicker so I'm in.
<DeathStar> <Selena> I'll go. *Celes shakes her head at the Queen always going on these missions* <Celes> I suppose I will remain behind in the Queen's stead.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "We really do need to find them first though."
<DeathStar> *Neekito heads toward the lab*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Well, they have Maka so I'm going.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *goes with Neekito*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I'm going too."
<Sara> * Ellie goes with Neekito
<Alicia> * Ceilidh slips away with Lana and Neekito
<DeathStar> *Neekito makes a face at all the blood in the laba and heads over to the strange sample that was seperated. It seems to be a type of magical energy*
<DeathStar> *while the others are getting busy, Shin dumps a stack of papers in front of Nicolette. Selena blinks*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh... we had an accident."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "H-huh?"
<DeathStar> <Shin> They are grading my performance. I finf it insulting
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Is this homework?"
<DeathStar> <Shin> Also, homework
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Oh. Yeah, they do that."
<DeathStar> <Shin> I do not know why I need this work at home
<DeathStar> *Neekito begins to interact with the sample, hmming then cuts her palm, bleeding*
<DeathStar> *Touching the sample with said palm*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "We only just separated it before the meeting, so we did not have time to study it further."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Ah, wouldn't that contaminate the sample?"
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I think I have an idea of where to look now. Lets meet with the others. *She takes Ellie's hand with her good hand.* Do not worry, if that worked, you will get more samples soon
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Well... It's practice material. Helps you reinforce the learning. Lecture only can do so much."
<DeathStar> *Sylph rides on Ellie's head in her sprite form*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I learn better with experience, but... she's right."
<DeathStar> *the large group forms up; surprisingly, Zayne seems to join in, making Sabrina blink*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Alright, is everyone ready?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Looks it.
<DeathStar> *Neekito taps into Sylph's power to warp them, holding out her hands to touch her; Sabrina and Selena do so, as does Zayne.* <Shin> If you require my assisant, you know what to do
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Okay, the rest of you can catch up I suppose in a bit. *She prepares to warp out, indicating the carriage*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Ah.. I got left behind."
<DeathStar> *not quite yet, but in a few more seconds*
<Alicia> * Sparkling joins in then
<DeathStar> *she warps out*
<DeathStar> *leaving the carriage for the rest*
<DeathStar> *or another spirit*
<DeathStar> *Neekito arrives with her group at what appears to be a swampy, poisonous area. Selena makes a face*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Where is this on the map?
<DeathStar> <Zayne> *Glances up with Sabrina looking about. Neekito muses* I think we're near the Ent Great Forest.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Oh they better not even think about going in there.
<DeathStar> (Jaime didn't touch hr)
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "What could they want here?"
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Well, they've been run out of the snowy areas
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> I suppose the forest and it's surrounding areas are the next best place
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Point."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well... we have an overabundance of monsters. Terra's making friends with many of them.
<DeathStar> *Zayne trudges along the swamp, eyeing all the trees*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> I do not care for this place
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Why not? Trees are important."
<DeathStar> <Zayne> *pushes Sparkling, albeit gently, toward the swamp, just enough she almost falls in*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> See?
<Seraphna> **Jaime slides over the mud and helps her up**
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Oh! Because it's all wet and muddy."
<DeathStar> *Neekito moves along, seaching and Sabrina opts to float over the shove*
<DeathStar> *after
<Seraphna> Jaime> What's wrong with mud?
<DeathStar> <Zayne> That's swamp mud; it'll pull you down
<Alicia> <SParkling> "Nothing's wrong with mud, I just don't want it all over me."
<DeathStar> *Selena eyes it quietly until the group comes to a massive lake of muck with a single cave in the middle. Neekito points* I'm getting something from there. If I'm right, you might want to have the carriage bring the others here.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I'm glad we can fly."
<DeathStar> *Neekito deadpans for a cat*
<Seraphna> **Jaime mues, and sends a signal for the others to come**
<DeathStar> *Sabrina begins to fly acrosS*
<DeathStar> *as she reaches the 1/3rc mark, the swamp mud suddenly rises and swallows her whole, pulling her down*
<DeathStar> *Neekito jerks*
<DeathStar> <Selena> *begins to go half-spirit and tries to fly out there to Sabrina*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Hey! Mud isn't supposed to do that!"
<DeathStar> <Zayne> What gave that away? *She aims her wand, turning it into a rifle of sorts, firing at the mud but it seems Sabrina is gone when the mud attacks Selena, draggng her down*
<DeathStar> *Zayne tries to fire at that*
<Alicia> * Sparkling also attacks the mud
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and feels out the mud to figure out what's actually got her**
<DeathStar> *The mud is hit, but it loosk like a magical mud of sorts, eating the attacks as Selena begins to draw her down. Jaime would find the mud is full of magical energy*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> At this rate none of us will be left.
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses, then starts to mess with the mud all around it, and the rock below, moving to disrupt it**
<Seraphna> Jaime> Nah, they picked a mud fight in my forest.
<DeathStar> *As Jaime battles it, a flying carriage can be seen*
<DeathStar> *The mud begins to sneak up onto shore to grab Jaime's foot*
<Alicia> * Sparkling zaps the mud. "Bad mud."
<Seraphna> **Jaime exerts her will against it, then grins and touches it, sending hyper feedback to whatever is at the other end**
<DeathStar> *The swamp mud seems to return to normal for now*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm, they can't be far, they were using mana to control it.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> .... Hm. Is it safe to cross?
<DeathStar> *Zayne begins to float and goes for it*
<DeathStar> *heading for the cave*
<Seraphna> Jaime> I can make it safe. **she holds out her hands and starts hardening the mud, moving along**
<DeathStar> *Neekito follows*
<Alicia> * Sparkling follows them
<DeathStar> *The cave entrance is full of blood symbols and they glow as they enter*
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and starts lashing at them with TK, scratching symbols out with soimething beyond magic**
<DeathStar> <Zayne> *switches back to her wand, frowning; the mages can be heard deeper inside that the Peacekeepers are attacking and the entire cave shakes. Something emerging and firing off int othe sky*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> I think something was launched. Sparkling?
<Seraphna> **Talia still in the carriage looks out**
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Want me to go after it?"
<DeathStar> *a large blood missile is flying off toward the Academy* <Zayne> We're both the same speed. Which of us?
<Alicia> * Sparkling takes that as her answer, flying off after the missile
<Seraphna> **Talia aims her hand up and fires one of her massive mana beams at it**
<DeathStar> *the missile takes some damage as it is slowed a bit*
<Alicia> * Sparkling moves to attack the missile, firing at it even as she chases
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: Battle Over the Sky of the Academy
<DeathStar> *Sparkling has begun her chase, damaging the missile even more as they fly rapidly across the Naturalist Kingdom right now*
<DeathStar> *blowing a chunk of the blood from the panel*
<Alicia> * Sparkling continues to fire, moving forwards to try to intercept, seeing a hint of... metal?
<DeathStar> *the missile shoots back, kncking her back as she damages a bit more, at this point the two nearing the Hapian Kingdom*
<DeathStar> *the metal plating getting bent*
<Alicia> * Sparkling keeps up the attacks, trying to blast through the plate, hoping this deactivates the missile. If this fails, she'll try to block it, shielding with her magic.
<DeathStar> *so far, the rolls haven't been enough to stop it; it fires, missing, her, as the two fly over the Hapian Castle, nearing the academy; Gwen looks up*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> ....?!
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh?"
<Alicia> * Sparkling moves, preparing... maybe she can shield the missile itself, and keep the explosion in there...
<DeathStar> *it succeds and it explodes, the shielding keeping a ton of blood inside it*
<DeathStar> *The force knocking Sparkling down to the ground*
<DeathStar> *Gwen pokes her and Shin moves over*
<Alicia> * Sparkling lands, looking hurt but alive
<DeathStar> <Shin> Do you need me to take you back?
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I... give me a moment first... but yes."
<DeathStar> *Gwen helps her up*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I feel like something cool happened
<DeathStar> -SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: Swamp Cave
<DeathStar> *meanwhile, Zayne is stomping on the last of the nearby Mages that rushed them, the carriage having landed*
<Seraphna> **Jaime keeps dragging Mages into the rock and mud to crush them**
<DeathStar> *Neekito blinks as Shin drops off Sparkling*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I stopped the missile!"
<DeathStar> *Lumi steps out of the carriage* We'll use this to block the entrance so none can escape
<DeathStar> <Zayne> Good job
<Seraphna> Talia> Talia softened it up for her.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Thanks for that."
<Alicia> * Sparkling isn't sure if that's true, and right now, is just happy it's stopped.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> We need to becareful. *She steps into the cave proper, eye symbols drawn on the walls - making it feel like people are watching them*
<Seraphna> **Jaime resumes scratching symbols out**
<Alicia> * Sparkling joins in the effort. "I don't like people spying."
<DeathStar> *Zayne watches them*
<DeathStar> *As the eye symbols are taken out, the watching feeling fading*
<DeathStar> *Suddenly, an anger feeling rises up from deep below in the cave, that it's definitely feels like a Makai feeling, or a Maka becoming one*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "...we need to hurry." *heads off in that direction*
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods and moves, while she sends very happy, loving vibes against it**
<DeathStar> *Lumi stays by the shuttle, keeping those who stayed at the Academy in touch incase they want to come*
<DeathStar> *As they find some stairs leading downward; passing some cells where people are being kept. A Makai slams against a cell, blood symbols drawn on it to keep her power in check*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> ... *eyes the girl, looking insane and eyeing them as if she wants to kill them. She lifts her weapon up*
<Alicia> * Sparkling more looks sad than anything.
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses and looks to Zayne** Will she attack us if I remove the symbols?
<DeathStar> <Zayne> Yes.
<DeathStar> *As they talk, they hear a familiar voice down further in the cells*
<Seraphna> **Jaime moves over to inspect**
<DeathStar> *Selena is in a cage*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Oh thank goodness. Sabrina was taken somewhere further down
<DeathStar> **She eyes all the Maka and Makai still remaining in the cages*
<Alicia> * Sparkling moves to release Selena
<DeathStar> *the cage opens and Zayne returns, her wand smoking a bit, eyeing all the Makai with a frown* I will join you all while I help save the Maka here
<Seraphna> Jaime> I mean, we can’t let them turn poor Sabrina.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Obviously."
<DeathStar> *Selena goes to say something when the cave shakes. Neekito's ears twitch*
<Alicia> <SParkling> "I'm going in. We don't have much time."
<Alicia> * Sparkling then heads further in
<DeathStar> *Neekito nods, following when a high ranking Blood Magi blocks them; their hand raises, blood strings pulling it up and their blood strings aim their finger at Sparkling and the others when a powerful limit charged blood spell washes over everyone, repelling them back, much more powerful than any normal blood spell*
<Seraphna> **Jaime moves with her**
<DeathStar> *neekito goes tumbling and Selena has to go spirit form to not go flying*
<DeathStar> *the hood and cloak conceals much about the magis*
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns and catches herself with mud, then starts to glow green** Fine. No holding back.
<Alicia> * Sparkling ends up doing an impromptu backflip just to not fall over
<DeathStar> *The blood mage has blood strings lift their arm and swing their hand with a blood sword that forms, the blade sending a blood slice*
<DeathStar> *Selena pulling out her own to deflect what she can and Neekito picking Void's form to form blades*
<Seraphna> **Jaime calls up a rock wall to block and blind them then teleports behind them to punch one with a hyperspace fist**
<DeathStar> *the blood mage makes a soft ungh sound as Jaime does that and hits the wall; despite being slumped over, the blood strings lifts their body up and it begins to move their hands, forming a blood ball that begins to pull everyone toward them*
<DeathStar> *Their limiter blood spell making it almost like a black hole*
<DeathStar> <Neekikto> Something is not...right
<Seraphna> Jaime> They’re puppets.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "The blood is controlling them?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> At least this person
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I think it's in general!" *tries to cast... a cleaning spell on them, to wash away the blood*
<Seraphna> **Jaime ropes herself to the floor with mud and starts forming mud to grab at one and wash the blood away** Mud Bath!
<DeathStar> *the person drops a bit. Then begins to rise, shakily, as if they're losing blood as more blood strings grip them, going into an animal like stance*
<DeathStar> *Then begins to leap at Jaime and rams her over and begins to claw at her
<Alicia> * Sparkling continues the washing
<Seraphna> **Jaime forms her mud armor** Sparking make with the magic!
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I am! If I can cut off the blood link..."
<DeathStar> *Sparkling seems to be knocking the strings out, but more strings just form*
<DeathStar> *As whoever is under te cloak begins to glow with a limiter and begins to break the armor with sheer strength*
<DeathStar> *Neekito grabs the person from behind*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Got..you
<DeathStar> *glowing with her own limiter*
<Seraphna> **Jaime growls and reinforces her mud armor, acting as the tank while they work, vines shooting out of her mud to tear at the cloak**
<DeathStar> *It's revealed to be Kito, who looks like she's nearly out of blood, having a blood symbol of sorts on her face; Kito strains to break free*
<Alicia> * Sparkling quickly washes off the symbol
<DeathStar> *Kito drops*
<DeathStar> *Neekito also seems to go down a moment or two later*
<Seraphna> **Talia sneaks over and gives her healing to restore blood loss, Jaime rising** Well glad I didn’t disintegrate her.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Like I said, avoid killing whenever you can."
<DeathStar> *Selena kneels by the two* They're both in bad shape. I'll stay with them
<DeathStar> *she peers at the path going onward*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Can you handle it?
<Seraphna> Jaime> We have to.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Sabrina needs us."
<Seraphna> **Jaime heads on, letting her armor reform as she does**
<DeathStar> *as they continue their trek, they reach a blood pool with tons of Blood Magi, including the leader, a few Makai like the explosive Makai who now is laying in the blood no more, and surprisingly many dead unmasked Blood Magi with Sabrina standing among them, her aura having changed a bit as she has switched hr weapon to her Sword Form. She seems to be a little ... out of it in an angered craze*
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> *slices a Mage down*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Sabrina, we're here to help!"
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses, then takes out her datapad and quietly sets it down on a rock face**
<DeathStar> *Sabrina turns her head, her aura skewed a bit like it's paused in it's change in seeing them* I--
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Get out of here and we'll take care of everything!"
<DeathStar> *The Blood Magi, in seeing more of them, back up* More of those girls.
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> *points her sword at them* But some of them are behind it. The death of my parents. I knew it was an organization. Coming here and seeking to learn the arts of blood magic after finding out they couldn't have a Maka's power.
<Seraphna> **Jaime taps the datapad and turns up the volume, one of Athena’s more joyful songs playing**
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> *She raises hr sword, chopping one's arm off. Panting*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Then we deliver *justice* to them. Not revenge.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "You can't let yourself be blinded by rage."
<DeathStar> *Then it seems to fall to her knees at the song* ... fine. *As they talk, the blood rises up from the pool and seems to grapple onto the men before they can act*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Plus, they're being controlled by that blood!" *attacks the blood with cleaning spells again, to wash it away*
<DeathStar> <Kito> That was me actually
<DeathStar> *she watches Sparkling undo her grappling spell*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "...what. Oops."
<DeathStar> *she leans on Neekito as the men try to book it*
<Seraphna> **Jaime starts grabbing them into the earth**
<DeathStar> *The Magi oof*
<DeathStar> <Kito> They defiled the blood magic - it's a type of magic meant to be used in emergencies and to help save people with one's own life.
<DeathStar> *The leader snorts* That's how you view it?
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "...and how do you view it?"

<DeathStar> <Lumi> Well, the Maka wanted to take her but she refused; it seems she is keeping a hint of anger in her and her aura/attitude has changed. Which isn't good. She's taking the first steps towards changing. It's even a bit in her looks.
