<DeathStar> <Selena> How are suppose to now get into the other phases with this thing though?

<Seraphna> Jaime> I did notice that the Pyramids are made of a material very close to the stuff that the PAX is made of. It's why I requested one for parts.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I think we need to find her, at least relatively, and match her synch or bring her into this one.
<Seraphna> Jaime> A bit like energy phasing.
<DeathStar> *Selena keeps an eye out for anyone that joins them or Death coming for them*
<Seraphna> Alita> We may be able to feel her through pacts. **she muses, trying to do so** My pact with her is the oldest that exists... let's see.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well...the Kumen Net was similar to another layer of the Spirit realm."
<DeathStar> <Kalam> I believe that is not an option anymore. <Aska> The pyramid has great spirit technology and other resources
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well, what I was getting at is that the principles might be similar."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm, if the Spirit Realm contains all the energies of the spirits maybe there are elemental layers?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Since the Kumen Net was accessible by a manufactured gateway, then maybe we could build something to access the other dimensions of the Spirit Realm."

<Jackieness> <Lana> *looks around the pyramid in the meantime, taking note of what equipment is available to work with*
<DeathStar> *it looks like it has a lot of the Croza Spirit Tech in it still hidden behind it. With a lot of work, maybe one can make a mini time machine based off the time gate they made long ago*

<DeathStar> <Aska> I will work on upgrading the spirit tech with my spirit powers if I Am needed

<DeathStar> <Kalam> I'll keep studying the cores. They are made of pure spirit energy, but the cores themselves are made from some matrial I have no idea what.
<DeathStar> <Kalam> I have no idea what using these cores in something other than a spirit would or could do

<DeathStar> *the group loses a whole day to building and modifying the pyramid with Lana as their sole scientist. As Ceilidh remains conked out, Kalam jots notes in her book and none of the children spirits show up as Lana uses the Croza ship's powerful spirit-tech to re-configure to her whims. But also by losing a day, who knows what has happened to the other Spirits*
<DeathStar> *an alert soon is heard in Croza on the bridge - which is Sasha's office. Rain lifts her head up*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...what is interrupting tea time?"
<DeathStar> <Rain> *points at a screen that was uncovered by Lana* Some sort of red lettering

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Rain, please call upon Lana to interpret this."
<Seraphna> **Alita reads it**
<DeathStar> "It is an alert about a powerful Croza spirit approaching*
<Seraphna> Alita> It says a Croza spirit is approaching.
<Seraphna> Alita> Powerful, so either Shine or Death.
<DeathStar> *Kalam sets down her notes on the cores* I think I got a basic understanding down now.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Go and tell everyone else. We must be at the ready."
<DeathStar> *Selena leans over Alita, eyeing the message* So it finally defeated all the others?
<DeathStar> <Selena> Are they dead?
<Seraphna> **Talia pops out of her robe and goes to tell the others**
<Seraphna> Alita> Or he got bored and left. Of it is the Nuclear spirit.
<Seraphna> Or*
<DeathStar> *the ship makes a bang noise as the door opens - yet the reading says the spirit is still approaching some ways away*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *pulls out a spyglass and steps out on to the balcony to look around*
<DeathStar> *plant life can be seen dying and fog rolling in*
<Seraphna> Alita> Hmmm, whoever that is it is not the spirit yet… but Death Signs are appearing.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Rain, Death is coming."
<DeathStar> *someone can be heard downstairs in the ship*
<Seraphna> **Talia stealthily goes to peek**
<DeathStar> *Neekito is holding the spirit kids, some of them beat up*
<DeathStar> <Selena> I'll go tell Lana it's time to activate whatever she's doing
<Seraphna> Talia> You’re alive!
<DeathStar> <Neekito> *grunts, a wound in her back and looking worn out*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I tried to copy it's power but it was too much
<Seraphna> **Talia hops over and feeds her energy**
<DeathStar> *Kalam closes her notebook on the cores for now since it's an emergency*
<DeathStar> <Edna> IT kicked out butts....
<DeathStar> *Neekito drops the children on the bottom floor where Fae lays on Terra*
<DeathStar> *Selena hops into engineering* Lana, we need to go.
<DeathStar> <Selena> You ready?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ummm..yes!" *turns and switches on some controls* "Ok, let's get to the bridge."
<Seraphna> Terra> Terra not like, it makes fruit go bad!!!
<DeathStar> *Rain serves some tea cakes to Sasha as Shinigami Death comes into sight of the pyramid temple and it begins to tense up, preparing something*
<DeathStar> *more alerts begin to go off*
<DeathStar> *and everyone inside begins to feel ill*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *runs up to the bridge*
<DeathStar> <Selena> ... *Stumbles after Lana*
<Seraphna> **Alita frowns, pulling a shield of spirit over the Pyramid**
<DeathStar> *Cloud tries to help Alita*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *gasps for air as she arrives at the control consoles and seals up the pyramid*
<DeathStar> *Selena breathes easier. Outside Death pauses, then resumes it's walk toward them*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Should I go out and slow it down?
<Seraphna> Alita> I believe he needs to be taught reason to hesitate.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Then I'll go
<Jackieness> <Lana> *then sldies into the control seat and starts cycling up the engines*
<Seraphna> Alita> **frowns and casts a spell over Neekito**
<DeathStar> <Kalam> ISn't that just throwing her out to die?
<Seraphna> Alita> I am infusing a resurrection spell in you. He will not like it.
<Seraphna> **Jaime seems to be thinking hard, seems, until the ground between them and Death cracks and begins to rise**
<DeathStar> *Neekito tenses, nodding to Alita and teleports out*
<DeathStar> <Kalam> *Frowns*
<DeathStar> *The pyramid rises up and warps*
<DeathStar> *And seems to set back down in the same spot they were at*
<DeathStar> *minus Death and Neekito*
<Seraphna> Alita> I’ve learned that trying to stop Neekito hurts.
<DeathStar> <Selena> What happened?
<Seraphna> Jaime> We phased, I think? Or time jumped.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "OK, we've been displaced to another fourth dimensional position!"
<DeathStar> <Avenir> ... *looks tired, feeling out, eyeing Lana*
<DeathStar> <Selena> What does that mean?
<Seraphna> Jaime> We’re out of phase like Shade.
<DeathStar> <Aska> I feel like Shade is close
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh...what?"
<Seraphna> **Alita feels out for her**
<DeathStar> *there is a Shadey feeling nearby*
<DeathStar> <Aska> Lets step out
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Did we get it right this time?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> I can only assume
<DeathStar> *Selena steps out after Aska - the realm looks prestine and clear like normal, but there's a haziness to it like it's not quite there.*
<DeathStar> <Kalam> I'll remain here and monitor things.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Call a spirit if he shows.
<DeathStar> *The spirit children follow, with Tenebrae taking the lead. She seems to be honing in on Shade herself, Nocturne hugging onto her back*
<DeathStar> <Edna> This place feels wrong.
<Ariel> * Nicolette follows after, taking in the sights. Or at least, being very aware of the realm itself.
<DeathStar> <Avenir> Time feels... dead.
<DeathStar> <Avenir> No..heavy
<DeathStar> <Selena> What would that even mean
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ah, maybe because we are no longer on the correct position in the fourth dimension."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Hmmm. A space between time?
<DeathStar> *Aska leads them to the Academy where things look different. As if it's been a few years. Sasha's pyramid is back in it's position and there's even more buildings. There are people moving about - but they're almost frozen in place. No, they're moving, but it's slower, much slower*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Hard to describe...."
<DeathStar> *The kids are a few years older than they are now*
<DeathStar> <Edna> Hey. *She eyes herself*
<DeathStar> <Edna> We're teens,.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Terra how do you keep getting cuter.
<Seraphna> **Terra looks innocent**
<DeathStar> *Ellie can be seen as well, though she looks more haggard even Ellie of the present day who has no Sylph. But with the lack of words and communication with the slowness of time, it is hard to make out why*
<DeathStar> *And there seems to be someone else in command of the Peacekeepers judging by their clothing and insignia*
<DeathStar> <Selena> They're moving so slowly I can't even read lips
<DeathStar> *Aska pauses at Shade's grotto* Here. <Tenebrae> I feel Shade in here.
<Seraphna> **Alita nods heading that way**
<DeathStar> *as they enter the grotto, the heaviness is even worse in here, as if time has been mucked with.*
<DeathStar> *something large and fast moves behind Nicolette and seems to quickly leave the area*
<Seraphna> Alita> Shade….?
<DeathStar> *as Alita says that, there seems to be a black spirit energy floating near where the nymphs are frozen in play*
<DeathStar> <Selena> What is that?
<Ariel> * Nicolette spins to try to track the movement, but isn't that fast
<DeathStar> <Aska> I feel Shade here
<Seraphna> Alita> I think it’s Shade.
<DeathStar> <Tenebrae> That?
<DeathStar> *She squints*
<Seraphna> Alita> Try putting a core in it.
<DeathStar> <Selena> We did not bring any
<DeathStar> <Selena> One moment.
<Seraphna> Alita> Hrm…
<DeathStar> <Edna> I'll hurry back and grab one
<DeathStar> *Edna turns and pauses, thinking she sees something in the grotto moving, then hurries off*
<DeathStar> *The black spirit energy floats about*
<DeathStar> <Aska> This is hard to believe...
<DeathStar> *She waves her hand and the black energy seems to repel her asif they were opposites*
<Seraphna> **Alita walks up to it and puts a hand out**
<DeathStar> *The black energy swarp attaches to Alita for now*
<DeathStar> <Selena> So is that what spirits are made of?
<Seraphna> Alita> I think it’s accepting me due to the pact connection, but yes.
<Seraphna> Alita> I theorize the core is what helps shape the spirit.
<DeathStar> <Avenir> ... *Yelps suddenly*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Avenir?
<DeathStar> *Selena spins to look as Avenir has been tripped by something and her hand is bleeding - no it's more like part of her hand is almost missing*
<DeathStar> <Avenir> Something in woods attacked...
<DeathStar> <Selena> But everything is frozen
<Seraphna> Jaime> That shape when we entered…
<Ariel> * Nicolette pulls out the empty core she picked up before, and never had a chance to leave anywhere.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I think it was feeding on Shade. Whatever it is.
<Seraphna> **Alita tends to Avenir’s wound**
<DeathStar> *Avenir eyes her hand; it's almost like the time spirit lost a chunk of her being*
<DeathStar> <Selena> You got one of the 5 cores? Do you want to use it?
<DeathStar> *She turns to Nicolette*
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns and goes into a stance, eyes unfocusing as she goes on guard**
<DeathStar> *Edna and Cloud are spying the woods and Soren has floated up* I see something moving fast. It's definitely out there.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I don't see how we could leave Shade without one."
<DeathStar> <Soren> It's all warbly like creepy. It's hard to focus on
<DeathStar> *She lands*
<DeathStar> <Avenir> Time is wrong. I think it's angry.
<Seraphna> Jaime> It’s so fast we can barely see it in this closed state.
<DeathStar> *Selena nods* Okay; how do we get a core in her when she's just... *motions at Shade's strange state*
<Ariel> * Nicolette brings the core closer to Shade, to see how she reacts
<DeathStar> *The black energy seems to wrap around the core; after a moment or two, Shade's form begins to rebuild itself, layer by layer. Tenebrae and Nocturne step back a bit*
<Seraphna> Alita> For once I like being right.
<DeathStar> *The creature zooms in for Shade, perhaps trying to attack her when she's at her weakest. Edna and Soren try to repel it but are flung*
<Seraphna> **Jaime shifts even before it moves whirling a hyper blade in its path**
<DeathStar> *it's slowed down and moves around to face Fae, who uses wind to attack*
<DeathStar> *Cloud then dousing it*
<Seraphna> **Terra rocks it**
<DeathStar> *Shade finishes reforming and falls to her knees, weak. ASka lifts her up* I have her.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Time we move then.
<DeathStar> *The creature makes a noise and Selena leads them carefully out as it retreats for now*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Do we have enough cores for those missing?
<Seraphna> Alita> Brooke, Gnome, Salamander, Sylph…
<Ariel> * Nicolette stays near Shade, keeping an eye out for the creature's return
<DeathStar> <Shade> And Shiva. We are missing one
<DeathStar> *Selena
<DeathStar> *Shade for her part is mainly making noises; as they walk through the academy, there is one face that seems to stand out as surprising. The Shinigami Spirit is lurking in the background of the Academy, holding a cup, frozen.*
<Seraphna> Alita> So we will need to obtain one more as we restore them.
<DeathStar> *looking unfriendly*
<DeathStar> <Tenebrae> .. *Eyes them and moves toward the frozen spirit, preparing to attack*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Wait… this means in this timeline we made peace with it?
<Seraphna> Jaime> It’s free, but no one’s fleeing for their lives.
<DeathStar> <Tenebrae> I can take it's core.
<DeathStar> <Selena> I think this is a possible future with the path we're taking right now
<DeathStar> *She eyes the upset Ellie*
<Seraphna> Jaime> We don’t know why it’s friendly now though. We may end up fulfilling this and regretting that right?
<DeathStar> <Selena> .... maybe. I can't say.
<Seraphna> Alita> It is a future though, the slightest thing can render it invalid.
<DeathStar> <Soren> Tenebrae
<DeathStar> <Soren> You should be better.
<DeathStar> <Tenebrae> And if we don't find the core at the end?
<Seraphna> Alita> Then we know where to find one.
<DeathStar> *Tenebrae turns away* Just remember we had a chance to do this while she was frozen
<Seraphna> Jaime> It would make us no better.
<DeathStar> *As they return to the pyramid, Aska and Nicolette help set Shade up, who opens her eyes*
<DeathStar> <Shade> ...
<DeathStar> <Tenebrae> Mom. <Nocturne> She's alive
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Even if I could support cold murder, I... don't know what'd happen if we took a core from this dimension. That's a big unknown."
<Seraphna> Alita> Hello Lady Shade.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Nicolette is right about that
<DeathStar> *Shade looks around* We're alive. Chronos ... that crazy spirit...
<DeathStar> *Kalam moves to grab some spirit items and helps monitor her* It'll be okay.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Now to find the rest.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Chronos.
<DeathStar> <Selena> What can you tell us about what happened?
<DeathStar> <Shade> ... *Rubs her face while Kalam seems to hook her up to spirit devices*
<DeathStar> <Shade> We were about to die and Chronos... she used her time powers. And moved us around time. Said we needed to help her with a few things. Indicated she would be borrowing various points of ourselves. It felt like time was being messed with on multiple levels - all to fool something
<Seraphna> Jaime> Death perhaps. For a while it thought you all dead.
<DeathStar> <Shade> That was part of it. But I think in the end something was after Chronos. For messing with time.
<DeathStar> <Shade> So she hid us.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Something... like that creature in the forest?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> Great.
<DeathStar> <Shade> I think maybe I recall something watching me that might be it. If you're looking for the others, she probably did the same thing. Took them away from their cores to try to hide them.
<DeathStar> <Selena> So to fool death she what, bent time over, aged the cores up, and angered some time being
<Seraphna> Jaime> Might be one of Fate's peers.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Oh... speaking of Death. You should be aware Shade, that it's still out there. Weakened, but apparently on the hunt once more."
<DeathStar> <Selena> A shame she isn't here to help us but she seems to avoid our planet.
<DeathStar> <Shade> ... *hangs her head* I see. *She pulls herself* We should to try to find the next of us. <Selena> Aska and Void had connections to Shade to locate her.
<DeathStar> <Selena> How do we want to find the others?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Some of us have connections to spirits here.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Especially the children.
<DeathStar> <Selena> I suppose the children are the closest we have
<DeathStar> <Selena> Who should we seek first?
<DeathStar> *while they discuss that, a familiar alarm is heard from the bride*
<DeathStar> <Rain> ... *looks at it*
<DeathStar> <Rain> *Reaches over Sasha's body and hits a comm button* We have Death
<Seraphna> Jaime> Not to be selfish but Terra and I amount to the most connection any of them have present.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Is she getting help? How could she even follow us here?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> Fine - Jaime pick which spirit to look for first
<DeathStar> *She runs to the bridge to get them started and see how Death is doing this* Come on Nico
<Jackieness> <Lana> *blinks and starts up the engines*
<Seraphna> **Jaime closes her eyes and helps Terra as they try to pinpoint Gnome**
<Ariel> * Nicolette goes to follow, and then stops. She pulls her cards and scrys for any other instances of death in the temple itself.
<DeathStar> *it looks like the temple itself is safe, outside Ceilidh having conked herself out while working and maybe Rain having a snack, it looks like there are no instances of Death in the temple itself. Outside, it looks like Death is clawing her waythrough, surprisingly bloodied, probably due to her battle with Neekito*
<Ariel> * Nicolette rushes to the bridge, trying to catch up.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Okay, once we get a lock onto a spirit
<DeathStar> <Selena> We're running. It's somehow using it's sheer force of will to follow us
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Then get me a destination quick."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Will do.
<DeathStar> *Death stands there, wobbily, the tear still left behind*
<DeathStar> *Dropping Neekito a it's feet, looking dead*
<DeathStar> <KAlam> I told you..!
<Seraphna> **Alita sighs and looks to Talia** Neekito retrieval plan 2 dear.
<DeathStar> *Gnome is located*
<Sara> * Ellie comes out, moving over to Neekito and looking intensely upset
<DeathStar> *Death pauses, turning toward Ellie, perhaps surprised*
<Seraphna> **Talia nods and pops out, sending a blast of mana at Death to keep him distracted for Ellie**
<DeathStar> *She is knocked and stumbles from Talia's blast*
<Seraphna> **Talia pounces the two and warps back to her Mistress**
<Seraphna> Jaime> Got the location! **she gives it to Lana**
<DeathStar> *Death's eyes glow red and it forms a giant scythe to drive into the shields of the pyramid*
<Sara> <Ellie> Neekito, Neekito! *she shakes her, in tears*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *inputs it and cycles up the engines*
<DeathStar> *Neekito bleeds from wounds that do not seem to be healing, looking pale. Her purple fur looking paler than usual and one ear a bit chipped*
<DeathStar> *The pyramid rises and warps, setting back down in the same spot*
<Seraphna> **Alita raises the Spirit Shield again**
<Seraphna> **Talia feeds the Cat Spirit Cat Energy again**
<DeathStar> *Kalam kneels and hooks Neekito up to devices* I got no heart beat. We need to start it up. These wounds are not healing
<Jackieness> <Lana> "OK, we're when!"
<DeathStar> <Selena> It looks the same I think. Wait there's some settlements out here now
<DeathStar> *she eyes buildings and homes it looks like in the spirit realm*
<Seraphna> **Alita nods and casts healing magic, working on restoring Neekito's heart and checking to see if she used the ressurection spell**
<DeathStar> *it looks like she did, probably why the Death Spirit was out of sorts*
<DeathStar> *Neekito looks a bit better as she begins to breathe*
<Sara> * Ellie stands, looking very upset, not having noticed Neekito is recovering yet
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Alright we got her breathing. *she makes sure to put her inside the Croza healing chamber for now*
<Seraphna> Alita> There you see? She's a surprisingly sturdy spirit.
<DeathStar> <Kalam> But whatever we do we cannot let her exit until this thing turns green
<Ariel> * Nicolette turns to the power of the cards to help heal Neekito, saddened to see her friend in such a state.
<DeathStar> *Shade pats Ellie and the spirits give her a hug.
<DeathStar> *Fae seems to be guarding Neekito and Ellie* <Fae> Bad spirit gone?
<DeathStar> <Selena> I just hope Chronos has some reason for us to go on this journey. Alright lets go outside.
<Sara> <Ellie> Not so much, I'm afraid. *she says to Fae*
<DeathStar> *as they step outside, the same time haziness is in effect. But one concerning thing is a scythe hole in the hull that was there before the shields went up and a pool of spirit energy from someone*
<DeathStar> *Fae hugs her and leans into*
<Seraphna> **Jaime feels out for Gnome and heads for it**
<Sara> <Ellie> It may be distracted but it's still very much present.
<DeathStar> *Gnome feels far away, like she's with the Ents. Selena kneels by the spirit blood/energy* I think it followed us.
<DeathStar> <Kalam> I'll keep the ship's defenses up
<Seraphna> Jaime> Form up on me.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I know where Gnome is.
<DeathStar> *Kalam hands one of the cores from the ship*
<Seraphna> **Terra nod and hops on her, Jaime teleporting them to Gnome's Grotto after taking the core**
<DeathStar> *They arrive at the Ent village. Sadly, there is not much to be gleamed here as people are frozen in place and not many come to the Ent village. Terra is even older, probably another few years now. Probably putting them at 6 years into the future*
<Seraphna> Terra> Terra looks 10!

<DeathStar> <Selena> All I can guess is this is Chronos' plan to deal with Death however we see fit.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...yeah....alot to unpack..."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Jaime's plan though... wouldn't that cause a paradox? We'd never have come here if Death didn't kill the others..."

<DeathStar> <Selena> Is it possible, since Death has responded to Nicolette, can a single person put forth a code word to snap a person out of a mind set?
