<DeathStar> <Shinobu> *sits back in her seat with Rain next to her, keeping quiet since it's her people that have caused the incident*
<DeathStar> <Peace> Um, well, lets see, we need a way into the spirit realm. So we need one of the spirits to take us there.
<Seraphna> **Alita frowns studying texts, Talia for once not bouncy since her husband and chief pillow carrier are missing**
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The othr way in is via pyramid ship... unfortunatekly, one of the missing is our only pyramid navigator."
<Seraphna> Alita> **sighs and nods, calling an appropriate Spirit for this, one of the Dark Spirits**
<DeathStar> *Nocturne hangs upside down, peering at them*
<Seraphna> Alita> Lady Nocturne.
<DeathStar> <Celes> Nocturne. We need you to take us to the Spirit Realm. *Nocturne shifts to sit crosslegged on the table* I'd love to, but... <Peace> But...? <Nocturne> I don't know any of the other entry points. *She says sheepishly*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "S-seriously?!"
<Seraphna> Alita> I know one.
<DeathStar> <Nocturne> I don't really go there often!
<Seraphna> Alita> The Summoni temple is built on one.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Assuming the Summoni want to get caught in the middle of this."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Wouldn't we just be passing through?"
<DeathStar> <Celes> I was more concerned with the damage done to the place after Shin's attack
<Seraphna> Alita> The Spirit Realm had been invaded and a castle jaunted into it. Kalam will be concerned.
<DeathStar> <Celes> Is it still functional?
<Seraphna> Alita> It should be by now. It’s been years.
<Sara> <Ellie> Jaunt? That's the word we're going with?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Then contact Kalam and ask rather than just assuming all is well."
<Seraphna> **Alita performs the arcane ritual, pulling out her datapad and calling Kalam’s**
<DeathStar> <Celes> Alright. *clasps her hands* We should gather as many people and spirits as we can. I'm going to approach Asarar's group - even if they are reluctant to join, I feel we might need Aska and Shade.
<DeathStar> *She rises from the table, patting Liana, and steps out*
<Seraphna> **Terra pops in with a pile of fruits and Fae**
<DeathStar> *Fae blinks*
<DeathStar> *Sylph appears a moment later and tackles - the fruit*
<Seraphna> Terra> We’re here! The… academy. Oops. This isn’t Soren’s secret room.
<DeathStar> *Kalam can be heard talking with Alita quietly*
<DeathStar> *Sylph munches, then sits on Ellie's head*
<Seraphna> Alita> We will need a ship. We should probably request the Aquarius.
<Sara> <Ellie> I really don't want to know what the deal with this secret room is.
<DeathStar> <Peace> I'm afraid it's doing something right now
<Seraphna> Alita> Just when a spirit ship would be useful… get us something Peace.
<DeathStar> *Peace rubs his heads* Right, fine. I know a ship nearby. I'll talk to them. *He follows after Celes*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I can't believe I never worked on a spell for this... it just never seemed like a priority."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I'm not good at complicated things."
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> I will come along. If my people are still over there causing trouble, I will attempt to talk sense into them
<Seraphna> Alita> I am eager to get that research back. It could save Geyze in the coming days.
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> Assuming they have not eaten Gwen

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "We'll have to wait and see."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Nah, Gwen will be cooking them delicious food."
<Alicia> * Sparkling seems to have the idea that Gwen is somehow a master at survival.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "This seems a very targeted attack when you look at things from a high vantage point..."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Hah?"
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Best to resolve it quickly then."
<DeathStar> *Peace approaches the Nyao Nyao, where Cloé is sitting by the ship and Cypher is working. The atmosphere by the ship is not the best when Peace holds up a paper* <Peace> We're taking your ship
<DeathStar> <Cypher> ... *eyes the paper, then Peace, then back, then just punches him
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "... ... ..." *steps forward* "Ahem, we would like to hire your ship."
<Sara> * Chelsea walks onto the scene, sees what's just happened... and just shrugs, as if not caring at all that Cypher just punched someone, or why
<DeathStar> *Cypher cleans her hands* No, it's fine. We're part of the Academy, too. I'm sure Chelsea would agree.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Can you fly us to the Spirit Realm?"
<DeathStar> *Cloé hops to her feet and moves to get on the ship, used to working on them by now* <Cypher> .. Alright. Lets prepare. Make sure you have everyone that is coming ready.
<Sara> <Chelsea> Don't make us wait long
<Ariel> * Nicolette contacts Shin, figuring at worst, she'd enjoy the change of pace
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *nods* "Everyone who is coming, be on board. Peace... go to the clinic and have your jaw checked, then stay here and hold down the fort."

<DeathStar> *The Ship, now with a ton of Spirits like Aska, Shade, Shin. Sylph, Gnome, Melodie, Aimee (The latter two powering the Nyao), Fae, Soren, Terra and Edna, as well as Asarar who joined when she heard Chelsea was a part of the crew*

<Seraphna> **Terra flops on Gnome**
<Sara> <Chelsea> It sure would be bad if we got attacked with all these spirits aboard. *she notes darkly*
<DeathStar> *Cloé nods, keeping an eye on readings*
<DeathStar> <Celes> *to Liana* We should try to do something for Chelsea and the others later.
<DeathStar> *Sylph flops on Ellie*
<Sara> * Ellie pats her
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "None of that talk. Focus on the problem ahead."
<Alicia> <Ecne> "Wow... this is amazing..."
<DeathStar> *the ship comes in toward the snowy plains of the Spiritalist, where Kalam is standing out in the snow storm*
<DeathStar> <Kalam> *She raises them on the radio so they don't have to get out of the ship*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I'll protect everyone, don't worry."
<DeathStar> <Kalam> I see two ways for you to get to the spirit realm. I'll *crackle* name both and let you all decide which you prefer.
<DeathStar> <Kalam> *continues to speak, even as the storm breaks up her words* You could try to use the spirit portal, which is a naturally occurring tear between our worlds. The 'portal' is just what we built to harness the tear. So if we did not build it properly, you could fly through it and who knows what damage it could do.
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Or you could try the spirit tech teleport system. We have one here and there's one in the Hapian Castle. I have no idea if it will work being on the other side, but it also means you'd have to all travel on foot in this case
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I personally trust Chelsea's engineering
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I worry about what'd happen if we aggrevated the tear, considering that the castle even got dragged in."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "We probably shouldn't risk that if we don't have to."
<DeathStar> <Aska> Either way if we can get back to the castle, I can try to get back to it's proper state. I need to find out how these Daemons did so much damage to cause it to fall in.
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> That is a mystery.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "A worrying mystery."
<DeathStar> *Cypher glances back* So we're going to land and try the spirit-tech route?
<Seraphna> Alita> Yes… getting back is vital to my idea.
<DeathStar> <Cypher> IF so, I'll remain with the ship incase you need it. I'll leave it near the portal here.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And how are we to reach the castle once we cross over?"
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "We have a lot of spirits here?"
<DeathStar> <Sylph> *warps those near her right into Kalam's place*
<DeathStar> *other spirits grabs others until they're all in - being so many present*
<Sara> * Chelsea eyes Cypher as if wondering why they were even bothered if the others were just going to use a teleporter anyway
<Seraphna> **Terra gives Kalam a purple glowing fruit**

<Alicia> <Ecne> "Is that an aubergine?"
<DeathStar> *Celes eyes a room that looks a lot like a ring behind the Hapian throne room*
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Lets hope this works. *Kalam begins to dial the Hapian teleporter*
<DeathStar> *the ring establishes a connection and spirit energy forms to step in, but it looks distorted*

<Alicia> <Ecne> "That doesn't look right..."
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Well, it is dialing into the realm
<DeathStar> *Cloé puts on goggles*
<Ariel> * Nicolette draws a spread of cards, attempting to divine if the portal is safe
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I can put up a magic barrier if you like."

<DeathStar> *Shin floats through*

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Well, safe is safe." *hops through*

<Seraphna> **Alita and Talia follow**
<DeathStar> *Aska and Shade glance at each other and follow as Soren shakes her head, following with Nocturne*
<Alicia> * Sparkling heads through, followed by Ecne
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Supply Cypher ith the laternate route in case they need to come after us." *moves through*
<DeathStar> *Kalam connects to Chelsea and sends Chelsea the information she needs to go to the other side if something comes up*
<Sara> * Ellie follows along with the others
<DeathStar> *Sylph rides on Ellie's head*
<Sara> * And Liana with Celes, assumably
<DeathStar> *The group arrives in what looks to be the teleporter room in Hapian Castle*
<DeathStar> *everything looking normal, despite it being in the spirit realm*
<DeathStar> *just much more prestine*
<DeathStar> *there's faint voices on the other side of the door*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...hmmmm..." *looks around*
<Sara> <Liana> Feels... uncanny like this.
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> *slinks low, as if this realm does not do well for her. Rain helps her up*
<Alicia> * Ecne heads to the door. "Someone's here!"
<Seraphna> **Terra pokes the door**
<DeathStar> *the door creeks open, hidden behind a giant painting*
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> I sense daemons on the other side. Becareful.
<Ariel> * Nicolette has her rod in hand, in case of hostilities
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves her hand to her sword and nods*
<DeathStar> *the two vampires lean on each other as they creep forward. Shin zooms quietly forward where 6 large giant type daemons have Lana and Gwen tied up, talking about eating the two*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Hey! That's not what friends should say!"
<DeathStar> *They turn to eye Sparkling*
<DeathStar> *they for some reason seem unaffected by the spirit realm unlike the vampires*
<Alicia> * Ecne stands near Sparkling, neither trying to be subtle, charging a Holy blast
<DeathStar> *The giants charge them, holding large clubs, swinging for them. Sylph poofs into her large form, using wind to try to blow them back, but they keep coming like a freight train*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> W-Wind fail?!
<Seraphna> **Talia leaps, battle dress ahd blade forming as she rockets into one of the Giants**
<Ariel> * Nicolette calls upon the cards to chain one of the giants
<Alicia> * Sparkling and Ecne fire blasts at the giants
<DeathStar> *Talia rockets into one and bounces off, tram rocket style?*
<Seraphna> **Alita moves forward as she draws the Void Blade and slices at a Giant**
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *draws her sword, striking a spark with the tip of her sword as she leaps up at the first giant*
<Seraphna> **Talia burns with Mana as she flies to go through the next one**
<DeathStar> *Nicolette's chain barely manages to trip it, the creature tumbling down into the floor and almost crashes through it*
<Seraphna> **Terra forms a big rock mallet and swings at another Daemon**
<DeathStar> *While Alita cuts through one as does Sasha and Terra and sparkling knocking back their's*
<DeathStar> **Shin leaps on one and begins to do her death thing*
<DeathStar> <Celes> *hides behind Liana*
<Alicia> * Ecne then prepares a sleep spell, trying to make the giants take an impromptu nap
<DeathStar> *another giant comes tumbling down and the floor cracks even more*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> *works on freeing Lana*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I was going to tell them that eatting a witch will bring grave misfortune."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Well that seems to be happening. *He pops Lana's chains*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Have a care! The floor is losing structural integrity!"
<Alicia> <Ecne> "What's on the next floor down?"
<DeathStar> *one of the damaged giants rises and grabs for the group, both hands reachig out to crush*
<DeathStar> *As well as body flop on them*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> No body flop!
<DeathStar> *uses her wind to try to stop it*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *performs a double leap, casting a string trap spell to try to snare the giant's neck*
<DeathStar> <Celes> Below us is just queen's conference room and map rooms
<DeathStar> *The giant snarls and strains as they keep it from slamming*
<DeathStar> *choking as Sasha does that*
<Seraphna> Terra> Violent baddies!
<Alicia> * Sparkling goes to bind the giant's hands with magic "rope"
<DeathStar> *The one Talia injured tries to climb up the wall*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Yield or lose your head."
<DeathStar> *The giant nods*
<Seraphna> Talia> Bad Gwen eater! He Mine!
<DeathStar> *The Giant is bound*
<Alicia> <Ecne> "Thankyou. Mind affecting magic is very delicate and complex."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Dismissed her string trap once tre giant is bound*
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> Did we get all six?
<DeathStar> <Edna> *examines the floor*
<DeathStar> *Gwen gets his own shackles off*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh...thank you all. They wanted to eat us."
<Seraphna> **Talia inspects Gwen**
<Alicia> <Ecne> "That is fatal for humans." *nods*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> *whispers to Ellie*
<Sara> * Ellie leans her head toward Sylph and listens
<Sara> * Ellie turns around, looking around
<DeathStar> *despite being massive, the last giant is clinging to the throne room's decorations on the walls, eyes glowing with strange darkness as it prepares to leap at them all to try to crush as many of them as it can*
<Sara> <Ellie> Incoming!
<DeathStar> *it's wound glowing with the same darkness*
<DeathStar> <Celes> Oh spirits---
<Sara> * Ellie fires off some arrows
<DeathStar> *it leaps, the arrows blasting through it's body*
<DeathStar> *Sylph and Fae shoot their wind up to try to slow it down*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *raises her hands and weaves a barrier dome over the group*
<Alicia> * Ecne fires off a high powered sleep spell, trying to get the giant to fall unconcious mid-jump, while Sparkling just sets up a shield
<Seraphna> **Terra sends part if the floor up in a fist to punch it**
<Seraphna> **Alita boosts the spirits with an aura**
<DeathStar> *The giant slams into the barrier with such force, the barrier looks like it'll shatter instantly, but it somehow holds*
<DeathStar> *The floor creaking under them*
<Ariel> * Nicolette calls upon the earth to try to hold the giant enough to slow it down
<DeathStar> *at least the giant looks to be KOed or dead*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Terra, reinforce the floor before it gives out!"
<DeathStar> *Gnome hurriedly does so with Terra*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> We're going to crash down aren't we?
<DeathStar> *Soren holy blasts the body out the window*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh...I hope not..."
<DeathStar> *the floor seems to have taken it with everyone working together*
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> Not to celebrate too soon, but what was that darkness coming out of it?
<Seraphna> Terra> Not Spirit I think?
<DeathStar> <Rain> ...
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh... it could be... ahhh... you know what..."
<DeathStar> <Celes> What's the situation?
<Alicia> <Ecne> "You know what?" <Sparkling> "I don't!"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> There are a few more daemons in the castle. Selena was trying to take back the castle when we last saw her down stairs.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "We should hurry to help!"
<DeathStar> <Aska> Yes. I will remain here and try to help restore the castle back it's proper alignment.
<DeathStar> <Shade> I suppose I'll help Aska.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "The Crawling Chaos, I mean. Admittedly, I didn't have the opportunity to examine their dark emanations."
<DeathStar> *Soren motions out the window for Lana*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "It crawls?" <Ecne> "I think it's a title."
<Jackieness> <Lana> *blinks and goes to look out the window*
<DeathStar> *far far far far far far far down on the ground is the splattered body of the giant*
<Seraphna> Terra> Let’s go spank bad Daemons.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...ahhhh...its...its dead. Definitely dead. And... not really a good specimen for study..."
<Seraphna> Alita> Yes, only good Daemons avoid our wrath.
<DeathStar> *Gwen hurries down the stairs, with Shin looking around*

<Alicia> <Ecne> "I was trying not to kill them. It's far too easy to do that by accident at times like this." *says this innocently, but she's definitely Ceilidh's reploid*
<Seraphna> **Alita, a Daemon, looks back and shrugs**
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We have to end this madness. Focus on the goal at hand and discuss philosophy later."
<Ariel> * Nicolette lets the cards guide her as she hurries ahead
<DeathStar> *As they hurry onward, the two vampires contiue to remain tired looking in the spirit realm; the group pass maids who hide and peer at the two*
<DeathStar> *only coming out when seeing those they recognize - like Nicolette, Celes, and Liana*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Wasn't Ceilidh down here too?"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Why doesn't this place have butlets?

<DeathStar> *they reach the lower levels where they find a bunch of dead Daemons, as well as the smell of a fire*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The makeup of the domestic staff is not relevant right now."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I think I found Gwen's campfire!"
<DeathStar> *Edna blinks, as they reach the bottom level and see a giant bonfire, made of furniture and books being tossed in by goblins, with the same dark aura*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Maids and butlers do completely different things."
<DeathStar> *and in the middle of it, Selena is tied up, having slayed as many goblins as she could out of the dozens*
<Alicia> <Ecne> "BLASPHEMY DETECTED!" *starts firing off holy blasts at goblins angrily*
<DeathStar> *the goblins are caught off guard*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Why do they want to eat us?!
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *draws ehr sword again and dashes forward, elaping for the pyre to cut Selena loose*
<DeathStar> *Shinobu muses on something*
<Ariel> * Nicolette immediately calles upon the earth to smother the flames
<DeathStar> <Shinobu> ... I think I'm seeing something
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh...try to catch one alive... please!"
<DeathStar> <Rain> Oh?
<Alicia> <Ecne> "For science?"
<DeathStar> *Selena lets out a sigh of relief*
<Alicia> * Ecne seems to calm a little, switching tactics to KO type spells
<DeathStar> *Cloé quietly comes up, having been on her own exploring, finally having enough of all this eating business; she takes her weapon and begins to go to town on a goblin*
<Seraphna> **Talia leaps and tackles one, wrapping it in energy** Specimen Gather!
<DeathStar> *The goblins, due to their sheer number, try to swarm the group, chaarging at them*
<DeathStar> *waving their daggers to try to stab them*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Wide area... blaaaast!"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I need to study this dark effect." *raises ehr hands and then weaves a giant vball barrier to try to scoop the goblins up*
<Seraphna> **Alita sends out an orb of void to start consuming them**
<Alicia> * Sparkling fires a beam... a very spread beam.
<DeathStar> *Celes swings her blade to try to knock them off their feet while Sylph uses her wind magic to protect Ellie*
<DeathStar> *The goblins = being of the weaker daemons, are easily defeated; they mainly just group AOE people*
<Ariel> * Nicolette smacks the goblins that get too close, but is mostly focused on making sure people aren't cooked
<Seraphna> **Terra starts calling thorny vines to wrap up one that’s not dead** Now don’t move or the ropes will punish.
<Alicia> * Ecne continues KOing single goblins
<Jackieness> <Lana> *moves over to start studying the darkness in the goblins, weaving various devices to aid her*
<Alicia> <Ecne> "Have you seen Ceilidh?"
<DeathStar> *the goblins soon are either beaten or being studied*
<DeathStar> *Selena swings and frees herself wile they are being studied* She might still be in her lap doing studies on the first spirit
<Alicia> <Ecne> "Thankyou!"
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "That's where I should have been... are you okay?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> It defintiely feels like someone or something keeps interrupting our research
<Seraphna> Alita> Especially as it now posits we could move huge objects into the Spirit Realm.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhhh!"
<DeathStar> <Celes> The attack here seems to indicate that
<DeathStar> *She motions around them as she leans against Liana*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "This is just like on Kumen."

<Jackieness> <Lana> "The soruce of the corruptive influences. They have a physical contaminant in their bodies that is mutating them."

<Alicia> <Ecne> "Let me try to locate it." *scans, both technologically and magically*
<DeathStar> *Gwen goes to retrieve Ceilidh*

<Alicia> * Sparkling goes with Gwen
<DeathStar> *Gwen checks Ceilidh's lab door, finding it locked, then lockpicks it*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Alright, here we go. *he walks in slowly*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "BAsically, anyone that ingested this contaminant has begun mutating into an insane mana eater."
<Alicia> * Ceilidh is, unless something has happened in the meantime, still working on her research

<DeathStar> *Ecne detects the corrution in the Daemons is unable to be returned to normal as their bodies seek spirit/mana now, hence needing to consume it from others. But it also picks up interesting readings from some others - getting pings from Shinobu and Rain as well as outside*
<DeathStar> *Gwen studies all the stuff Ceilidh has up* Huh. *Taps her shoulder* Everyone is outside waiting on you
<Alicia> <Ecne> "... are Shinobu and Rain alright? I'm detecting that effect on them too..."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Ah? OH SORRY!" *heads outside hurriedly*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh... well... in theory, fi they cna't get their hand son familiars or spirits, they would likely start eatting others that have trace amounts of mana or spirits, including their fellow daemons."
<Seraphna> Alita> Did something happen to expose you to this stuff?

<DeathStar> *The spirit seems floored at such abilities and holds onto it, growing into a larger form; but unlike the other spirits, their bigger form seems to be a shorter, almost kid like form that one would think a sprite might have if they had a form. The form glows various colors still, as they put the flower in their multicolored hair as well* <Origin> Thank you
