<DeathStar> *The researchers have been studying the first Spirit/Sprite Origin for the past 3 days, and the most they can come up with definitively is that it seems to have all the powers of the other main spirits - holy, dark, wind, earth, water, fire, etc, as well as creation powers. But there seems to be something else their observation picks up, leading them to need outside equipment, either from Kumen or the Suisen*
<DeathStar> *For Origin's part, it seems to just fly around curiously*
<DeathStar> *Sylph sits, watching it*
<Seraphna> **Terra offers it fruit**
<DeathStar> *Origin flutters over, in it's smaller form, and grapples it, eating*
<DeathStar> <Celes> So what do we do now?

<Seraphna> **Jaime taps her shoulder** I dunno, find a Suisen Princess who knows geniuses?
<Ariel> * Nicolette has been spending much of her time studying origin, though much more passive than most researchers. "I don't even know where to start..."
<DeathStar> *Selena turns to Jaime* We also have people on Kumen that we could turn to with the technology. Asarar has ties to Macross
<Seraphna> Jaime> Indeed. Though I may be super invested in the spirits. **She winks** Contacted my wife already to see what we can do to help.

<DeathStar> *She turns to Nicolette* It looks like we're opting to get help from the Suisen
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "It's not a bad idea."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Wouldn't hurt to tap both. Since Adeline might be busy, I have been myself lately. **She frowns a bit at that** But when it comes to the good of Gnome and Terra I find it easy to make time.

<Seraphna> **Terra demonstrates growing a fruit plant for Origin**
<DeathStar> *Origin stares, then touches the ground; a massive spirit fruit tree grows - and keeps growing, right next to the research building they are next to - and uprooting it a bit*

<Seraphna> **Terra claps and makes another plant that evens out the building**
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Ah, maybe you should avoid having the roots go too close to the foundations..."

<Seraphna> Talia> This must be the Lobsters next plan of attack! Battle stations!

<DeathStar> *Bonnie leaps into the tree and sits there, peering down at them while Cloé lurks nearby*
<DeathStar> <Celes> So tell me. What do you all make of Origin?
<DeathStar> *She motions at the tree*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "She has so much power for someone so young... we're going to have to be careful how we teach her."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "She's like a Maka."
<Seraphna> Jaime> I wonder if she was the root energy that the rest all came from.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Could be."
<DeathStar> *oddly enough, Origin, while fluttering about, seems to avoid Jaime*
<DeathStar> *As if sensing Jaime ere a bad, bad person*
<DeathStar> *Lana, at least, gets picked up by some branches*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I'm just worried that people might consider her a tool, rather than a person."
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** She's perceptive. I think she senses the mark on my leg.

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Sylph, do you think you could help make sure no one takes advantage of her or her abilities?"
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "... treating others like mere tools is the beginning of evil."

<DeathStar> *At that moment, the Suisen Teleporter lights up and Adeline arrives with tools*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> *Studying Origin with a look*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Alright. I'm not sure what all you might need. *She begins to set up the equipment. Origin eyes Adeline carefully, hiding behind Nicolette* So this machine will run through just about every scan and test I can think of
<Ariel> * Nicolette gives Origin a smille, "She's a friend. She's just bringing some things that will help us understand you better."
<DeathStar> *Adeline begins to run the machine, scanning Origin (And Nicolette), bringing up their information. Nicolette's ability powers appear to the left, which Adeline flips to keep hidden for Nicolette's sake while Origin's appears to the right. For the most part, it begins to list what they discovered on their own - her having all the abilities of the other spirits and creation abilities, but then Adeline's eyes narrow*

<Jackieness> <Lana> *stumbles over to the others when she makes it back to the ground*
<Seraphna> **Jaime tilts her head curiously**
<DeathStar> *it looks like Origin creation power similiar propeties to reality creation as well as having one foot in the mirror universe as well in here.* I'm trying to understand the nature of her powers here
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It's very similiar to realiy creation, but not quite. Is she drawing it from the Mirror Universe?
<Alicia> * Ceilidh looks like she wants to say something, but isn't sure if she should
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I'd have to witness her creating more to say
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** This could... have some very interesting implications for the battle with the Serpent. It might also explain why it's minions seemed keen on destroying Geyze.
<Ariel> * Nicolette tilts her head as she ponders, "So... Like Yggdrasil?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "OH, that is interesting..."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Essentially, there's a handful of people that have reality powers. Kaori inherited those powers from Yggdrasil, yes.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> But her powers allow her to do basically infinite things
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Your little spirit here seems to just create things on Geyze, and I'm believing her source is coming from somewhere in the Mirror Universe
<Alicia> * Ceilidh practically chokes on water at that
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I... can count on you not to let this information out, right?"

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Could she be pulling matter and energy from the Mirror Universe to shape here?"

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "We should definitely look into the source, but we need to keep what she can do confidential. Too many people would try to abuse that if they even had a suspicion."
<DeathStar> *Adeline muses* Strange how close it is to Kaori's, but also how limited in scope
<DeathStar> <Selena> Could it be becaue we were originally from there?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "How did we keep this udner wraps after...you know...the giant tree.""
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "It makes sense for her to be a spirit of both realms."
<DeathStar> <Celes> Most people are focused on the serpent battle coming up. Though news of a new spirit will spread, the end of the world looming will likely drown out the spirit news too.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I'm more worried about Hunter assassins or kidnappers though."
<DeathStar> *Celes muses* Unless people begin to think the new spirit can change the tide in the upcoming war, which I will work to abuse them of such thoughts
<DeathStar> <Selena> That'll be a problem. We'll need to keep her with one of us at all times
<Seraphna> Jaime> I have a plan forming but it's not to fight the spirit or change the tide... **she muses** It's more.... every vision I've seen of the Serpent's arrival results in Geyze being destroyed by the mere shock of it. I'm wondering if we might be able to protect Geyze.
<DeathStar> *Origin has fluttered up the tree*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Protect it how?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "And waht about Kumen?"
<Ariel> * Nicolette watches Origin and the tree, "Helping protect Geyze from the shock... she might be able to help with that."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "We should try to protect both, but be realistic enough to understand we might not be able to. I'm an optimist, but also a realist."
<DeathStar> *Origin seems to be staring at the two familiars in the tree*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well... this will sound out there, but if the shockwave comes out here... could we at least temporarily bring Geyze there? Of course there's the Anti-Life beings to deal with but...

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh... but there is alreayd a Mirror Geyze there."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "That sounds dangerous, but the whole thing is danger."

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Also there is a Yggdrasil with ppartial manifested Serpent in the Mirror Universe too. The shockwave may still happen on that side."
<DeathStar> *Selena muses* We need to learn more about the Mirror Universe before we decide any plans, as well as Kumen's plans
<DeathStar> *Bonnie blinks at everyone coming up*

<DeathStar> *Origin hides in Nicolette's pocket. Sylph opts to ride on Nico's head*
<DeathStar> *The group arrives in Asarar's bar where she eyes them all, then sets her eyes on Bonnie, who refuses to meet her gaze*
<DeathStar> <Bonnie> They want to talk to Ymir about future plans for protecting Geyze and Kumen. I know Ymir has been planning her spirit shield
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** I wouldn't mind bouncing some ideas off her.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *whispers* "...what is going on here?"
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> *whispers* "That's what I want to know"
<DeathStar> *Asarar studies Bonnie, then the others* Sure, lets see what Ymir can tell you.
<DeathStar> *Asarar walks along, with Bonnie and Cloé taking up the rear*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I imagine Ymir has everything locked down with things being this close. *She takes them through the lower levels - which are unusually packed, people huddled everywhere*

<DeathStar> *Selena pats her pockets when they reach the elevators to the top levels* I think I lost something
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhhhh?!"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Jokes on them because I'm only actually wearing mud. Ack, I think I got groped.

<DeathStar> <Asarar> People are desperate and don't believe the villages outside Kumen City are as well protected
<DeathStar> <Asarar> It's leading to the old overcrowded days
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Pickpockets on Kumen. They're on another level, truly."
<DeathStar> *the group reaches the top levels where it's all well maintained and barely anyone is about; much more civilized*

<DeathStar> *Asarar eyes her as they enter the Macross building and face the sassy roadblock behind the desk*

<Seraphna> Jaime> I assume Luci is already here since we're not using her as a passkey.
<DeathStar> *Asarar holds out her hand, the sassy woman scanning something*

<DeathStar> <Woman> You're who you say you are. And the rest of them? <Asarar> They're from Geyze and don't have Kumen's ID system. I'll approve them; if anything happens, it's on me. *She whispers something to the clerk* Come on in

<DeathStar> *When Bonnie goes to walk by, the clerk stops her* I'd like to scan you. *Bonnie blinks and offers her hand*
<Ariel> * Nicolette shudders a bit at the checkpoint, "... didn't miss that."
<DeathStar> *after a moment, a sound goes off and Bonnie snatches her hand*

<DeathStar> *The Fauna President is at her desk, looking over a bunch of paperwork and looking like she has't been sleeping munch lately. She seems to be ruffled as well* <Ymir> Welcome. *She sets the papers down, addressing the group properly* Please come in
<Ariel> * Nicolette gives a bow as she steps in, careful not to disturb the spirits.

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ummm....ahhh...we are trying to look for ways to shore up Geyze's defenses."
<DeathStar> *Ymir muses, folding her hands together* Well, Kumen is going the route of using the spirit towers. We believe we can do it without endangring the spirits thanks to the technology recently found

<Seraphna> Jaime> I was thinking of displacing Geyze during the attack. Though that will have quite a few complications.
<DeathStar> <Ymir> Displacing Geyze... *She repeats*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "It's not a bad plan, though it's a little... difficult."
<DeathStar> <Ymir> Kumen and Geyze work as one unit, complete with the Spirit Realm. If you remove one element you could break the system. Especially depending on how far you plan to ... displace it
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "That's hard to say."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Displacing a planet, isn't so bad. But the spirit realm? That's a little more... attached."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh... if Yggdrasil is part of the system, it could pull Yggdrasil along with us... then boom, Serpent is on us anyway."
<Seraphna> Jaime> These are good points... I merely had hoped to replace the dead Geyze with ours so it could take the hit.. but I'm not sure how that would affect the Spirit Realm.
<DeathStar> <Ymir> Slotting the other Geyze could also be very disasterous
<DeathStar> <Ymir> It might fit into the system without problem
<DeathStar> <Ymir> But you'd doom us all
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "It would only be a short term solution."

<DeathStar> <Ymir> Tell me why it would doom us all
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Well, considering basically every living thing over there is hostile to this universe..."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Agggg..." *adjusts her glasses* "Well, it could have the effect of an anti-matter planet being dropped into a material universe."
<Seraphna> Jaime> THat was another obstacle... though we really need to find a means to deal with that anti-life if we're to keep the Serpent from crossing either way.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I don't think think it would be quite that bad, but... yes, it is extremely dangerous."

<DeathStar> <Ymir> The Anti-Spirits would, once arriving, strike out at the Spirit Field
<DeathStar> <Ymir> And the Spirit Realm
<DeathStar> <Ymir> And anything else
<DeathStar> <Ymir> Kumen would crumble, the Realm would crumble
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Potentially that might not be a problem, but..."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "It would be like injecting a cancer cell into an otherwise healthy body. The cancer will try to multiply."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'd need more information to know if Anti-Geyze would be affected... in the same way as Geyze..."
<DeathStar> <Selena> It looks like all our problems are coming down to dealing with the Anti Spirits before we do anything
<DeathStar> <Celes> We need to learn how Samson has retained his mind over there
<Seraphna> Jaime> Definitely.
<DeathStar> <Celes> He is the only one who has not been hostile
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Ideally, the Serpent ends the problem for us, but... even saying that makes me feel... bad."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Well, the funny thing is we were able to walk among them without them attacking last time
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Sacrificing some other world for our own benefit is not exactly... noble."
<DeathStar> <Selena> They only went hostile when we were near the Crystal Tree.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well... part of the the problem is that the Anti-Spirits don't realize they are not the entities that they are pretending to be. Breakign the masquerade drove them berserk."
<DeathStar> *Ymir muses and begins to fiddle with some papers, flipping through them* I believe your reports said they were trying to find pretending to be living beings still and when they learned otherwise, they went hostile
<DeathStar> <Ymir> And for some reason they went hostile to anything to do with the tree.
<DeathStar> <Ymir> I may have a theory.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'm interested."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Oh?"

<DeathStar> <Ymir> If Samson is among their number, and this is the Universe that was left behind when Kaori brought everything over here. It could be ... *She trails off* What remains of the living beings that were lost in that universe or echos of them. Something of the sort. As silly as it sounds. Hence striking out at things like the spirits due to their high life energy.

<DeathStar> <Ymir> Or something of the nature. If so, I'd be even more dangerous to bring them over here while they're in such a state.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "That doesn't explain the tree part."

<DeathStar> <Selena> It'd be nice if that's the case. It shows something - if they are ghosts - of an awareness

<DeathStar> <Ymir> Either way you have to face the other side if the serpent is there.
<DeathStar> <Ymir> I'd look into ways of pacifying the populace. You should try to wake them up out of their ... state. But do not take anyone with spirit energy. Definitely no spirits. If you take people with high magic powers. Supress them
<Seraphna> Jaime> THis may be a job for the more... tech born. Humans, Dragoons, Weapons, and so forth.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I never thought I'd actually be grateful for my weak magic power."
<DeathStar> <Ymir> As for this Geyze swap plan, only do it as a last resort and if you cleared out all the Anti-Spirits. Honestly, you have a planet full of spirits. I'd have them get together and focus on protecting you like my towers
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "It fells more like... the left over memories of people, rather than actual ghosts." She pauses to consider, "I wonder if it's any relation to that origin stuff..."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm, you may have to supress your spirit though Ceil... even if you seemingly ignore it.

<DeathStar> *Asarar moves over to a safe and begins to open it, bringing out a minute amout of the black material and sits down with it*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "The Magi Spire along with other sites form a weapon... what if we could configure the system to act as a barrier instead, augmented by the spirits."

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Basically what Ymir has done on Kumen, but we don't have the time to start from scratch, so we use already existing infrastructure that we do have."

<Seraphna> Jaime> It may be the First Spirit.
