<DeathStar> *As they travel, they come across a massive skeleton beast of a creature long since passed. Edna rises up behind Ellie, arms crossed*
<DeathStar> <Edna> Looks creepy.
<DeathStar> <Cloud> Scary.
<Sara> * Ellie jerks
<DeathStar> *Edna leans around Ellie, floating there* Boo
<Sara> <Ellie> Ack!
<DeathStar> <Cloud> Be nice, Edna. We thought we'd help try to locate our moms too. Plus Lana is doing strange things on the ship. It was getting smokey.
<DeathStar> *Edna meanwhile is messing with Alita's wings out of boredom when the Pre-Death Spirit rises out of the ground* Here. I believe your companion is nearby. *The pale spirit points at a massive crater full of bones*

<Sara> <Ellie> Lots of bones... so many...
<DeathStar> <Edna> .... I'm not scared. *she moves down the crater past the bones*
<DeathStar> <Cloud> ... *mumbles* I am,
<DeathStar> <Spirit> Many died on this world. Great Disaster.
<DeathStar> *It turns it's attention toward the Croza ship where the Croza can be seen in the distance moving toward them in their Angelic suits*

<Seraphna> Alita> Well, we need to recover our friend before they do. **she feels out the spirit**
<DeathStar> *Edna pauses in the middle of the crater; there might be something deep beneath it*
<DeathStar> <Edna> Alright, lets do this.
<Seraphna> **Jaime starts to excavate, shifting the earth**
<Sara> * Ellie tries to help but ... more wind than earth and all
<DeathStar> *Edna uses fire to try to burn things*
<DeathStar> *They soon uncover red sprites floating around
<Seraphna> **Jaime puts her hand in and gathers Salamander, the often unseen third of her Pacts**
<Seraphna> **with a core**
<DeathStar> *Salamander begins to slowly reform when up on the crest of the hill several Angelic suits of armor surround them, likely drawn by their powers*
<DeathStar> <Spirit> .... *looks around*
<Seraphna> **Alita adjusts her cloak and tries to amplify the relic’s power to hide them all**
<Sara> <Ellie> Uh... We got company.
<DeathStar> *The Croza walk around, no doubt sensing the spirit's energy and the power of the relic being in use*
<DeathStar> <Edna> Uh... *She shifts not to be touched as Salamander finishes reforming*
<Seraphna> Jaime> **whisper** Now we need a distraction .
<DeathStar> *Their Spirit guide pauses, then picks up a rock and hits a Croza*
<DeathStar> *drawing their aggro to them*
<Seraphna> **Jaime makes the rock act like it has Ten times the mass**
<Seraphna> **Alita nods and leads them in the other direction if the Cowza move**
<DeathStar> *The one Croza suit is partially damage, but they seem to get the general idea of the spirit after it has thrown it, moving after it as it sinks into the ground to run*
<DeathStar> *Cloud and Edna help Salamander go in the other way as Alita runs*
<Seraphna> **Jaime moves with them before making the ground under the Croza a sinkhole to slow them**

<DeathStar> *Selena finishes gearing up with what they need*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Alright, everyone ready?
<Seraphna> **Terra nods, wearing a helmet now**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *is running about, effectign what repairs that she can manage without thr supplies from the other Croza ship*
<DeathStar> <Selena> ... are you sure you shouldn't stay here with the other kid spirits and your mom? *Gnome seems to be resting next to Neekito's chamber, which is still only barely running due to Alita's interence. If that stops, who knows what will happen
<DeathStar> <Selena> Lana. you should probably come with us
<Seraphna> **Talia salutes** Talia will help!
<Seraphna> Terra> Fine. **she pouts**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ah, are you sure?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> I won't know what all to take off the other ship
<Seraphna> Talia> Talia’s favorite pillows would know best parts to take.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *nod ndods and goes to suit up to join the others*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Lets hope the others drew some attention of the Croza
<DeathStar> *she steps outside and heads for the other ship*

<Jackieness> <Lana> *heads along after Selena*
<MobileAri> * Nicolette follows along, still trying to plan for contingencies for raiding a Croza ship
<DeathStar> <Selena> Remember we need to take what we can and see about rearranging the memories of the Death Spirit when it's taken. And avoiding the current Death Spirit

<DeathStar> *ironicaly, Ceilidh wakes up in a dark, mostly abandoned pyramid with a book on her head that knocked her out as the team is leaving it*
<DeathStar> *it looks like the entire place is depowered*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Oh, yes. I remember when we found the machinery the first time. I insisted we should study the machinery...well...I was outvoted and it was turned off..."
<DeathStar> *Neekito's chamber looks like it's about to shut off any minute.*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Oh, look Rain, she has come to."
<DeathStar> <Selena> When was this?
<Seraphna> **Terra keeps it going, using a field that Alita set up**
<DeathStar> <Rain> Yes she has awakened. I suppose should fill her in.
<Alicia> * Ceilidh grabs the book, and looks for the others, apparently not having to look far
<DeathStar> *Rain hands Ceilidh notes and points her outside*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Literally when Death started its rampage."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "When the Spirits were becomign sick."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Wait, what's happening?"
<DeathStar> *Selena muses and holds up her hand as they near the enemy Croza ship*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Is that what I think it is?"
<DeathStar> *Selena glances at Ceilidh as she catches up* Ah, you woke up
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I feel like I've seen something like this before..."
<Seraphna> Talia> You has.
<DeathStar> <Selena> We're in the Croza War again. I've read about it in mom's journals.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Then this must be the Croza ship."
<DeathStar> *She nods at the pyramid ship*
<DeathStar> <Selena> They're just like Sasha's place
<Jackieness> <Lana> "And this particular pyramid ship is destined to become trapped in the Spirit Realm where we will accidentally release Death."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Most likely yes.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Can't we do anything?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> No, but we have a plan. Nicolette.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well, if we stop Death from being captured, then it might destroy the whole universe."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "So, we need a plan that we can set step 2 of in motion back in the future."
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "We're planning to adjust Death's programming, so we can stop her in the present."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Just like that."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "That's a good plan."
<DeathStar> *As they enter the temple, things are eerily quiet*
<Seraphna> Talia> Wake up command like making her bow to the mighty Talia.
<DeathStar> *even with all the Croza technology running, there should be more Croza about*
<Seraphna> Talia> Must not be worried about time travelling interdimensional looters on a death planet. **nods**
<DeathStar> <Selena> This feels almost too easy. I'm hoping it's that.
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "...here's hoping Death isn't working with them as well."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "If we're lucky, we're an out of context problem for the Croza. If not, it's a trap."
<Jackieness> <Lana> *raises her hand and an arcane cosntruct like a hologrpahic map appears* "This isn't quite exact since the ship was damaged and beign pushed around by the shiftinf Spirit Realm at the time..."
<DeathStar> *an eye ball like defense is present up ahead, the eye lid closed, but as they near it slowly begins to open with each step*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *whisper* "..that is new."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Well at least we have a map....
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Ah. They're not completely unprepared."
<Seraphna> **Talia muses** Mirror?
<DeathStar> <Selena> Uh what do we do?
<Jackieness> <Lana> *backs away from the defense drone* "NEver saw those before when I was in th past. These Croza must have developed them rcently."
<Seraphna> Talia> Need fool sensor.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Not sure a mirror's enough."
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "...how intelligent is Croza technology?"
<DeathStar> *it closes when they near it*
<Seraphna> Talia> Smarter even than Talia.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Well, I was never sure if Ida was machine or not but she seems pretty intelligent
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Then they already know we're here."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "It depends. It could be under direct control of the AI on the ship."
<Seraphna> **Talia shakes Nicolette** Fix!
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I think we've lost any element of surprise."

<Seraphna> Talia> No alert yet.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "This was so much easier when Id was with us..."
<DeathStar> <Selena> But it might backfire.
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "I was wondering, if it was blind, would it know the difference between that and just not being able to detect anything?"

<DeathStar> <Selena> I could try to speed past it with my spirit speed.

<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I have no idea, but it beats just walking up."
<DeathStar> <Selena> As for blinding it, I have no idea
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Even the mirror idea does, but it would need to be a big mirror."
<Seraphna> Talia> Spell to hide us?
<DeathStar> <Selena> Alright, I'm trying to the speed thing unless someone has a better idea
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Alita went with the other group, and I would need to to construct a cloaking incantation."
<DeathStar> *she taps her feet, getting ready*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I do have my shield, so we could turtle inside that while we move."
<DeathStar> *She glows with spirit form, and zooms forward, the eye slowly rising but by the time it's fully open, Selena is far gone*
<DeathStar> *it seems to scan the area, then closes
<Seraphna> Talia> Mmm, speed work. But how to move brainy girls.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ah....I am not fast."
<DeathStar> *Selena peeks around the corner*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Me either."
<DeathStar> <Selena> I'll go search for things to rip out of the wall and see if it disables it
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "Hmm..." She looks over the other girls, sizing them up.
<DeathStar> *She wanders off*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...I hope this doesn't backfire."
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "I can definitely get one other person across. Maybe two. I doubt three..."
<Seraphna> Talia> Talia can ride in Nico's shirt on her pillows.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "How wide is its range of vision anyway?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I don't know. This is the first time I've ever encoutnered this particular defense mechanism."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "So there's no staying in its blind spot..."
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "Well... everyone gather close I guess."
<Alicia> * Ceilidh practically clings
<Seraphna> **Talia turns into a cat and creeps forward a little to see if her tiny form even registers**
<DeathStar> *the eye opens a little as Talia does so*
<Seraphna> **Talla scoots back and into Nico's shirt**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *sticks close to Nico*
<DeathStar> *it begins to close, then it twitches; it looks like Selena is doing the wire thing as the eye closes as it twitches and seems to be sticking to the right a little*
<MobileAri> * Nicolette swipes her cloak over the group and uses the power of the relic to teleport the group across
<DeathStar> *it tries to lift up, perhaps detecting the teleport, but it's too slow and is facing right ward*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ah...did you see that? It has a blindspot now. Selena must have done soemthing."
<DeathStar> *Selena hums, standing by some panel and eyes wires, wondering what to rip out now as they arrive*
<DeathStar> <Selena> This?
<Seraphna> Talia> Loot time!
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Oh. Well, anyone left behind can sneak past."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Or this...
<DeathStar> *shocks herself*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh examines the place closely, scanning it as best she can
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ummm...we're here."
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "A-ah... Sel..."
<Seraphna> Talia> You okay there Selena?
<Jackieness> <Lana> *brings up her approximate map again*
<DeathStar> *Selena sucks her fingers and nods, rejoining the group; the hallway leads them forward and they begin to approach the main hall where they suddenly begin to smell something off*
<Seraphna> Talia> Something smell not-fishy.
<DeathStar> *the main lab according to the map is on the top floor*
<DeathStar> *So they still have some ways to go*
<DeathStar> *As they enter the main floor, the stairs leading upward, they find ... bodies of Croza, scythe marks cut into their suits, all over the place*
<DeathStar> *A slaughter house*
<DeathStar> <Selena> ... *pauses*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Well, she's definitely not their servant..."
<Seraphna> Talia> This also not very good for timeline.
<DeathStar> <Selena> What in the world...
<DeathStar> *She cranes her head upward toward the stairs*
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "This... is not good."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Are we sure that didn't happen normally?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> I have no idea.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...I...if I were to speculate...they have...perhaps started eatting each other...to survive."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "... what?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> ...What?
<Seraphna> Talia> But with a scythe?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Oh! Ohhhhh... Death must be here."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Assuming, um, this is a deviation of the timeline. What would happen?
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I... think it would create an alternate universe?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> T-That's all? No big boom?
<DeathStar> *She slowly walks up the stairs*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well, if we're actually in a timeline deviation and not actually on our own, then changes to history would not destroy us. I don't know how to tell though."
<Seraphna> Talia> Still able to course correct from here. We learn time pretty elastic.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Well, I did hear the words 'Doomed timeline' at one point."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Simon would probably be better equipped to share whatever the Time Spirit might have revealed to him."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Shame we have to rely on speculation."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Lets get to the top then and find out what Death is up to
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "Of course, if this timeline isn't our timeline, then our plan is..." She sighs, "Let's just continue on under the assumption that what happens matters."
<Seraphna> Talia> Right now as long as surviving Croza get back and capture cuter Death, things work out. Or we have to take ship back to Spirit Realm ourselves.
<DeathStar> *Selena studies Nicolette at that thought and looks sour*
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: Elsewhere
<DeathStar> *Alita and Ellie arrive near a dead ocean with Cloud and Edna, using Cloud's abilities to feel out*
<DeathStar> <Cloud> There's no life in these waters.
<Seraphna> Alita> Under it maybe?
<DeathStar> *kneels by the strange, almost red water. Salamander sits away from it, looking quiet* Why are we wasting out time here. We should be trying to get back home.
<Seraphna> Jaime> We're getting Brooke back, dear.
<DeathStar> <Salamander> ... We got Cloud. *She notes, as if that's all Geyze needs, eyeing the red ocean*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Things have gotten... well, not so good since we lost you all. THe kids still need their mothers too.
<DeathStar> *Cloud touches the ocean and recoils, vomitting
<DeathStar> <Cloud> Mom is in there, but this ocean is ... revolting
<DeathStar> <Edna> ... *peers at Ellie*
<DeathStar> <Edna> Hmmmm
<Seraphna> Alita> Mmm... it's still water at the end of the day, be it riven or not. **She muses and holds out her hands, starting to part the waters**
<DeathStar> *Alita finds the waters very hard to move, like there's nothing living to move*
<DeathStar> *while it does churn, it's hard*
<DeathStar> <Edna> We could drop Ellie in there to swim and get her
<Seraphna> ALita> Mmm... interesting. We'll have to rely on base physics I think.
<Sara> * Ellie stares
<DeathStar> <Edna> ... I'm kidding. *Was she?*
<DeathStar> <Cloud> She's right down there. *points at the water*
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses, then starts constructing a sea wall around the spot**
<Seraphna> **Jaime uses the Titan's Glove to make this easier**
<DeathStar> <Cloud> What are you doing?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Making a spot we can drain the water out of.
<Seraphna> **Jaime starts to demonstrate by having slit open that Alita can push the water through** Wind could help move the water too.
<DeathStar> <Edna> Good thing I didn't drop her in then
<DeathStar> *Salamander eyes her daughter*
<DeathStar> *As they drain the water out, blueish sprites can be seen, which will use their final core. Will you use it?*
<Sara> * Ellie looks at Jaime
<Seraphna> **Jaime takes it out and hands it to Alita, who uses it to start gathering Brooke**
<DeathStar> *Brooke slowly begins to reform and soon the Water Spirit is reform.* <Salamander> So are we heading back to the ship or are we helping the others?
<DeathStar> *Brooke sits on the ground, weak, taking deep breaths as Cloud pats her back*
<Seraphna> Jaime> We need to ensure events play out the way they are supposed to. **she looks at their guide**
<Seraphna> Jaime> Let's get these two back to the ship and then figure out what we do from there? I'm not sure where else we can go. BUt I'll teleport us back to save time.
<Seraphna> **Jaime readies to teleport them all back to the ship**
<DeathStar> *They arrive and s they do, Jaime is whacked by something in the head*
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: Other Croza Ship
<DeathStar> *as they near the top floor, they hear the Croza language - it sounds like an experiment is being run*
<DeathStar> *there's machinary being run and the hum of power*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh stays quiet, watching and listening
<Seraphna> **Talia frowns a little, with a kitty face**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *looks at the others*
<DeathStar> <Selena> *is trying to pick up onwords with what little she knows*
<DeathStar> <Selena> I Think they're doing a spirit experiment.
<Alicia> * Ceilidh nods to Selena
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...they may have caught proto-Death already."
<MobileAri> * Nicolette tries to determine if they have either death
<DeathStar> *As Nicolette does that, from below them the sound of a scythe can be heard sliding out. Death stands there, facing them, but it seems to be walking not for them, but for the experiment*
<DeathStar> *her hood drawn back, exposing her pale face and whiteish long hair*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...eeeee..."
<Seraphna> Talia> Besides the sheet terror, she's kinda cute.
<MobileAri> * Nicolette grabs Death by the arm.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh?"
<DeathStar> *Death eyes Nicolette, eyes glowing reddish, being coldish to the touch* <Selena> I Think she plans to wreck the experiment.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...can't blame her..."
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> *gives Death a level look and whispers* "We have to be careful how we tackle this, or we risk undoing ourselves."
<DeathStar> <Death> That is my plan. To end everything. And myself.
<DeathStar> *The experiment upstairs seems to be proceeding to uploading the data to deal with the Geyze targets due to them becoming a problem*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "OK...totally a nihilist..."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Does that matter if it results in us going down with it?
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "And if you end it here, then you'll never make it here to end it here. You see the problem?"
<DeathStar> *She draws her sword*
<DeathStar> *the spirit frowns, clearly annoyed, then fades into a black mists, but doesn't proceed any further for the time being*
<MobileAri> * Nicolette looks to the others, "Does anyone have any clue what they accomplish here?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well...this is where they weaponized the Death spirit, and programmed it to kill the geyze spirits."
<DeathStar> <Selena> We'd have to look at what they're doing but I think this must be, looking at the notes, when the Geyze Spirits began to turn the tide of the war?
<DeathStar> <Selena> So they use this Spirit to try to kill them later.
<Seraphna> **Talia muses** So we need to get our parts still and change the program.
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "So... we knock them out, mess with their plan, and get out?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> Right. That sounds good. Lana, get our parts.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well, they may have been intending to deploy the death spirit in the current time frame, and event ended up sendign this shop with all hands crashing into the Spirit World."
<DeathStar> <Selena> ... you think this ws intended to be deployed in the Croza War?
<DeathStar> <Selena>... Hrn
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "You think the parts you need would... say, send them off course if they went missing?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "It makes sense to me. And...yeah, actually. Its parts of the drive system and navigation control."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Oooh. Yeah, lets remove them, and take them for safekeeping and research..."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "We actually need them to repair our drive system and our navigation control. We took quite a hit from death while you were out cold."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Well, that makes the decision obvious."
<DeathStar> *Selena uses her spirit form* Alright, lets go
<Jackieness> <Lana> "OK, and I'll go grab what I need....I guess?"
<DeathStar> *she tenses and zooms into the room and leaps for an Angelic Suit, doing battle with it and trying to knock them out. Catching them by surprise and swinging her Hapian Blade, she manages to pin it down and smash it down*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *heads off, using her map to get to the areas that shee can get her parts*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh goes to help Lana with the salvaging
<DeathStar> *The other researchers around the newly formed Death Spirit in the chamber who is floating there, run about, being about 5 in total, using their superior abilities to attack at Selena*
<Seraphna> **Talia comes in as they focus on Selena, she drains one suit of power and uses that to strike another with a Mana blade**
<DeathStar> *the Croza exits it's suit and grabs Talia to deal with it*
<DeathStar> *As Talia damages another's suit*
<DeathStar> *Selena flips and stabs another's suit and hacks at it, trying to pierce through it when she's blasted and sent flying*
<Seraphna> **Talia starts draining the energy being directly as he grabs her** Mmm... you guys taste pretty good!
<DeathStar> <Croza> *glows with spirit powers and tries to overload/blast her*
<Seraphna> **Talia panics and redirects her drain to summon an army of energy kittens to overwhelm the Croza as a group**
<Seraphna> **Side effects may include tiny scratches**
<DeathStar> *Sera gets a lucky roll and anyone in the room is attacked*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *is out shopping with Ceilidh*
<DeathStar> *Selena rises, bleeding from scratches*
<DeathStar> *and looking burnt*
<DeathStar> *The Croza that weren't stabbed are down for the moment*
<Seraphna> **Talia cures Selena with a spell, but only her, the Croza must suffer the effects of a cute army**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I wonder how everyone else is doing." *remvoes part of the spirit energy distribution manifold*
<DeathStar> *parts of the ship's power begins to flicker as Lana does that*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Nicolette.
<DeathStar> *She stumbles over to the spirit chamber*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I know they've got it down."
<DeathStar> <Selena> We got to try to do the thing before we lose power here.
<MobileAri> * Nicolette hurries over to the device and tries to figure out how it works
<DeathStar> *it seems there's a terminal to enter commands, targets, and locations to the spirit's brain during her transformation to the perfect evolution of her spirit transformation*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I hope they know what to do. Simon and I never had the chance to study it before all hell broke loose."
<DeathStar> *and when she goes into the chamber to evolve, it will be programmed deeply into her subconcious*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh makes sure to scan everything, hoping she can gather just a bit more data for the future

<DeathStar> <Chronos> Well, time basically ended when Yggdrasil ws destroyed. I been moving through time to witness the flow of time and it usually ends at a certain year. Oh sure, the universe "limps" on afterward, but life is dead from that point onward.

<DeathStar> <Chronos> Oh that would be the Serpent awakening. It usually awakens hard enough to kill the tree, which usually is too much for most life.
<DeathStar> <Chronos> Sometimes on some timelines, it's delayed a bit, or you do enough damage to last a bit longer, but that awakening bit is a killer a lot of times when you're all not prepared.

<DeathStar> *after returning and having a day to themselves, oddly the main spirits seem to have kept to themselves, outside maybe Gnome and Sylph but even they aren't that close. Brooke seems to lean more toward the Undine name once more, and theer's some other differences in their personalities. More like when they were first introduced and a little on the harder side. The Ice Spirit Shiva remains in sprite form for the time being*
