<DeathStar> *Selena, for her part, is arriving by carriage before the meeting while Lumi is in in the meeting room getting things ready*
<Sara> * Chelsea eyes one of the posters skeptically
<Seraphna> **Talia sits on Gwen’s shoulder**
<DeathStar> <Cypher> How does Sylph plan to become the headmistress again?
<Sara> <Chelsea> Blowing away the competition? *she shrugs*

<Seraphna> **It would seem half the posters have been replaced with Talia for Cat President**

<DeathStar> *Talia is suddenly blown away by Sylph; sent flying into the air.
<Seraphna> **Talia wheees, then opens a banner that says "VOTE 4 TALIA!"
<Seraphna> Jaime> ...They all know there isn't an election right?

<Sara> <Chelsea> I don't think they do
<DeathStar> <Cypher> Granted if the spirits make enoug fuss Sasha might be forced to do something

<Seraphna> Jaime> It's not a granted position. Lumi inherited her spot from Miyuki, mostly as far as I know.
<DeathStar> <Cypher> Lumi isn;t the headmistress though
<Seraphna> Jaime> What is she anyway? I should probably know that.
<DeathStar> <Cypher> She runs the Peacekeepers.
<Seraphna> Jaime> ...Maybe we should give them something to vote for. Come to think of it. Like Class President.

<Seraphna> **Jaime teleports herself, Gnome, and those in her wake to the meeting**
<Seraphna> **Alita is there, sitting, around more with Void needing to keep an eye on contentious spirits**
<DeathStar> *Neekito walks with Ellie, looking like a pleased cat where Selena is eyeing one of Sylph's "vote for Sylph for headmistress" posters while Lumi has set up stuff. Gnome looks around while Lumi raises an eyebrow at Jaime bringing a spirit to the meeting*
<DeathStar> *Cypher and Gwen dust their hands and take a seat while Sylph floats in, since Gnome is in there*
<Seraphna> **Jaime blinks a bit, then seems to flicker a second, Gnome gone**
<Seraphna> Jaime> Sorry our brains have been so focused on the wedding I almost forgot... oh... yeah that's not good. **she frowns**
<Sara> <Chelsea> Wonder what Sasha's going to think of these shenanigans anyway... *she notes to Cypher*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...I am not amused." *spoken as she walks inside*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Okay, yeah, was going to suggest Sasha distract them with like, a class president election or something. Also I need to consider the wedding plans may need adjustments.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> *points* Sylph will become the new headmistress!
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The position of headmistress is not subject to popular vote." *sits down*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Polls Sylph has conducted shows she is super popular.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Gasp. Tyrant!
<DeathStar> *Selena facepalms a bit*
<DeathStar> *Rain quietly slides in and removes Sylph*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Also might we get on with this, niece?"
<Seraphna> Alita> Perhaps Sylph should construct a sort of... Spirit Representative Role here?
<DeathStar> <Selena> Please. *motions at Lumi*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "That's an interesting thought. What would they do?"
<Seraphna> Alita> After Lumi.
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods and sits back, thinking**
<DeathStar> <Gwen> How would that even work. They're super hostile toward each other
<DeathStar> <Gwen> You'd need the younger kids to play at that

<DeathStar> *Neekito pauses at her name being brought up, having been cuddling Ellie*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I wonder why they're so hostile now"
<Seraphna> Alita> I'll work something out with Kalam. We do need a proper structure for Summoni here.

<DeathStar> <Lumi> The meeting with Kalam has been set up for today.
<Seraphna> Alita> Well I'll just let you segue in then.
<DeathStar> *Lumi eyes Alita a bit*
<Seraphna> **Alita smiles, since she had tried twice to steer the conversation to her**
<Seraphna> **Thena tops Lumi's tea**
<DeathStar> <Lumi> Anyway, who all wishes to attend the meeting?
<Seraphna> Alita> I will be of course.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I guess I'd better sit in for Gnome.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "If it's about the spirits, I will be."
<DeathStar> <Lumi> Do note that there's still questions lingering about the Summoni and Death we're going to try to answer
<DeathStar> <Lumi> In addition to finding out what Kalam might know about the spirits
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I'll be going of course. Kinda part of the job description."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "In that case, I definitely will be."

<DeathStar> <Gwen> I'll uh, stay. This stuff is over my head.
<Seraphna> Alita> A pity Simon is so busy of late. We could use him.
<DeathStar> <Lumi> Simon has other Peacekeeping duties as of late.
<Seraphna> **Alita nods** His time is valuable.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "For what purpose would Simon serve and can you find a substitute?"
<Seraphna> Alita> He seems to have a certain talent for assessing the needs of the spirits.
<DeathStar> <Lumi> I'd think many people here have knowledge of the spirits
<DeathStar> *She motions at Nicolette, Ellie, and even Ceilidh*
<Seraphna> Alita> Of course.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "You will also have Kalam's knowledge as well, once you make contact."
<Sara> * Ellie nods
<DeathStar> <Lumi> Keep in touch with us once you get there.
<DeathStar> *Lumi rises and outside a flying carriage has been set up. Neekito circles it and begins to climb up on top, but then realizes she has a dress, so she climbs inside*
<DeathStar> *Selena also steps inside the carriage*
<Seraphna> **Jaime leans back and Alita moves for the carriage**
<Seraphna> Jaime> I'll catch up once you're there.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Do be careful, niece. I have to clean up the campuse in the meantime."
<DeathStar> *Sylph is talking to her people that she has been silenced*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Good luck with that.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Yes...well...the academy charter excludes spirits from the position anyway."
<Sara> <Ellie> It DOES? *she gasps*
<DeathStar> *Neekito shakes head while Sylph uses that fact to rile up her people*
<DeathStar> *once everyone that is going is in the carriage, the driver begins to fly them off*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "When the academy was formed, tennsions between kingdoms were a thing and the spirits did not really get along yet... so to try to provide for some sense of neutrality, the spirits themselves were excluded. That and most of them were quite silly."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Well, that part hasn't changed."
<Seraphna> Alita> Yes, the Spirits were deeply politically aligned when the Peacekeepers were founded and could not be considered neutral.
<Seraphna> Alita> Sadly that seems to have happened again with the older ones.
<DeathStar> *Selena leans back as they fly* <Selena> I believe my Aunt will have a lot on her hands with Sylph
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "She's a handful. That part hasn't changed."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *returns to her office*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> She is making me wear dresses. *she sniffs*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...why are you taking orders from her, Neekito?"
<Sara> * Ellie shifty-eyes
<DeathStar> *Neekito keeps holding onto Ellie's arm and despite her words, she is wearing a tight fitting dress*
<DeathStar> *Soon the air begins to grow cold and chilly as they near the site of the old Summoni monestary*
<DeathStar> *down below they can see reconstruction has begun these past few months and parts of the building have been restored, though lots of it remain unfinished. They seem to have completed parts of the main hall some of the east wing, but with the winter winds it likely makes it slow to work, even with what new Summoni they have*
<DeathStar> *The carriage lands and Selena steps out and pulls on her coat, wincing at the snow as Neekito forms a coat over her dress.*
<DeathStar> <Selena> I don't see Jaime
<Ariel> * Nicolette wraps her cloak around her for warmth
<DeathStar> *Neekito walks with Ellie up to the large wooden doors*
<Seraphna> **Jaime appears a short time after yawning a bit and in a gown** Hey. Had an eye kept out for your landing.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'm sure she'll arrive soon." *has put on a fluffy coat during the trip*
<Seraphna> **Alita walks, pulling her cloak over herself**
<DeathStar> <Neekito> *studies the coat* Is that made from cat?
<DeathStar> *pokes Ceilidh*
<Sara> <Ellie> Made from CAT!? *she jerks*
<DeathStar> <Neekito> It is very fluffy. Like me
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "...no? It's wool."
<Sara> <Ellie> Cat wool!?

<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Do cats even have wool?"
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Pet my fur and see if it is not the most wonderful woolful touch ever
<Seraphna> Jaime> No they don't.
<DeathStar> *She nods*
<DeathStar> <Selena> I'm going to ... knock
<DeathStar> *She knocks on the wooden doors*
<Seraphna> **Jennifer peers around** Yes please. Kalam should know we're here by now.
<DeathStar> *they resound with a loud boom boom and inside footsteps can be heard approaching before the large wooden doors creak open and Kito stands there in her Dark Mage outfit*
<DeathStar> <Kito> ... you all look cold.
<Sara> <Ellie> Kito!
<Seraphna> Jennifer> It is a tad chilly out here. Though I've been in vacuum before.
<Seraphna> **Alita steps past into the warm**
<DeathStar> *Kito smiles. The fox fauna, and Neekito's "sister", waves them in where Neekito hugs both Ellie and Neekito. Neekito's tail swishes and Kito's does the same*
<Ariel> * Nicolette bows with a flourish, and then heads inside where it's likely warmer
<DeathStar> *taking off her mage hat and allowing her red fox hair to tumble free, Kito glances at each of them with her red eyes* <Kito> Kalam is this way. I've been helping her restore the Summoni Order. She helped me a lot back in the day.
<Alicia> * Ceilidh follows Nicolette in, taking off her coat once inside and in the warm
<DeathStar> *Selena rubs her hands together* So this is where you been
<Seraphna> Jaime> The place has been warm enough for the few Ents that wanted to come right?
<DeathStar> <Kito> I had to use my magiks to make it more hospital for them.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well thank you for that.
<DeathStar> *indeed, the area inside is a lot warmer than it normally would be, protective charms placed around on the walls. It is clear Kito is a high level mage*
<DeathStar> *As they walk along the completed areas of the monestary, they arrive outside what is Kalam's temporary office and Kito knocks on it* <Kito> Here. I will be around if you need me later. Helping to build.
<Seraphna> **Alita smiles** You have come a long way in your Mage studies Kito.
<DeathStar> *The door opens and inside Kalam is sitting at a desk in a cramped office space, with lots of paperwork all around her and some relics. Kalam glances up, with her long dark hair a mess and it looks like she hasn't eaten well lately. Kito smiles and pats Alita, wandering down one of the hallways*
<DeathStar> *Neekito watches her sister go as Selena glances about the cramped office*
<DeathStar> <Selena> I hope we're not troubling you
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Of course not. *She motions them to find spots in her office; due to how cramped it is in size and having books and items all over the place, it seems a hard task. Neekito opts to just climb up a stack of books to sit*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Is everything alright?"
<DeathStar> <Kalam> It is just ... not easy restoring what was lost. We got lucky in finding even 30% of the relics and tomes that we lost in Death's attack. We might find some more, but that's still eons of information lost.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "A tragedy." *she really means it*
<DeathStar> <Kalam> I send out search parties in the cold to try to locate more, but I have to juggle it with constructio
<Sara> <Ellie> At least you have your lives
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** You should take your time, I can try to send more people to help here.
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Mmmhm. Mine at least. I haven't heard reports of other Summoni surviving. The Ents are the first of the new Summoni and many are still worried about joining after an entire organization gets slaughtered in an entire night
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Some consider me cursed.
<Ariel> * Nicolette glances to Selena, "Maybe we could help with the construction? I'm sure the craftsmen would appreciate some extra work."
<Seraphna> Jaime> You should also eat. I don't mean to be rude Kalam, but you look terrible...
<DeathStar> *She makes the word sound a little ... insane*
<Seraphna> **Jaime does a passive scan on her mind**
<DeathStar> <Kalam> I would not turn away help. *Selena nods* <Selena> Right. I can see what I can do on my end. *it is clear that Kalam has a lot of stuff she is juggling, as well as something she is hiding* <Kalam> But you all came here for some help
<DeathStar> *Kalam stands up and moves through her stacks of books and papers, grabbing something*
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Lumi said the spirits are acting unusual
<Seraphna> Jaime> They are all irrationally afraid of their opposing elements... those that were restored anyway.
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Well, as you know, I did studies on the cores when we were on Sasha's pyramid
<Seraphna> Jaime> Something wrong with them?
<DeathStar> <Kalam> No. They're perfectly good cores. But they're probably cores meant or newborn Spirits, judging by the size. And the size of the spirits when they were dead, they were much larger and detailed, even with them looking crackd
<DeathStar> <Kalam> The cores grow with the spirit over time most likely.
<Seraphna> Jaime> So this should get better over time? Or should we throw Avenir at them and have her progress them?
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Is there anything we could do to accelerate the growth of the crystals?"
<DeathStar> <Kalam> We could try but we might could make things worse. We'd be doing it unnaturally.
<DeathStar> <Kalam> You said the spirits lost their part of who they are. IF they're going down a path of being a little different, you might accelrate a spirit who's much more hostile
<Seraphna> Jaime> ...I do often forget age is a linear thing for most people. Is this why the spirits took so long between making each new element?
<DeathStar> <Kalam> That might be the case.
<Sara> * Ellie looks a little sad
<DeathStar> <Kalam> I'd say pick one spirit and give it a try with them. Be better to be sure beforehand
<DeathStar> <Kalam> If it does backfire, at least we didn't do it to all of them.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'm not sure what to suggest."
<Seraphna> Jaime> So we probably want one that's showing the most signs of change and agression if we do.
<DeathStar> <Selena> I agree.
<Seraphna> Jaime> If it's only one, Avenir might be able to undo the moment too.
<Sara> <Ellie> But what do we do then, if we really do cause something awful to happen that way?
<DeathStar> <Selena> Hm. *Thinks*
<DeathStar> <Kalam> I can also look into my relic vault
<DeathStar> <Kalam> And see if we have any tools that might help.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Avenir should be able to reverse the action, it's a time thing.
<Seraphna> Jaime> At the very least, the kids all get along well.
<Seraphna> Jaime> So it's not like the primary spirits are at odds.
<Sara> <Ellie> Does it work that way?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well, while their mothers are helping, the kids all mostly became the primary spirits when they were gone. Terra for instance is working all the time lately, she's become quite popular.
<Sara> <Ellie> Fae hasn't proven to be the exact same as Sylphie, even though they're both wind
<DeathStar> <Selena> Yes, Fae has been quite demure
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Well, they're different spirits, it only makes sense."
<Seraphna> Jaime> True, though Fae is the Wind Spirit now in terms of who's the primary.
<DeathStar> <Selena> And there's other kid spirits who are still struggling to gather supporters
<Sara> <Ellie> Well, yeah, I just mean that I don't think they work identical
<Seraphna> Jaime> I think only Nocturne and Aurora haven't taken up posts.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Nocturne has a sister and Aurora is way too young still.
<DeathStar> <Selena> My worry is that --- no. Lets not worry about that right now
<DeathStar> <Selena> It's a problem down the road.
<Seraphna> Jaime> The whole situation is complicated.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Anyway, one other thing. How's Death, Kalam?
<DeathStar> *Kalam pauses a moment - it could be because Jaime reminded her about Death's attack on her monestary, though, right as she was gathering keys to go to the relic room*
<DeathStar> <Kalam> ... What?
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "A very important question, though one that's hard to answer?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well she's been in seclusion since we got back. I assume she might be trying to help make up for what she did here.
<DeathStar> <Kalam> Make up for what she did here? *Kalam eyes them with almost dead eyes* Ha ha. *Rubs her face, then just starts laughing almost* Making up.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> *quietly pulls Ellie closer to her*
<Sara> * Ellie squeezes Neekito
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Trying to. Not succeeding."
<DeathStar> <Kalam> I think you should go. I need to work. *She puts the relic keys back up in her desk after Ceilidh says that*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "...I guess not."
<DeathStar> *Selena pauses, then nods and steps back out into the hallway*
<Ariel> * Nicolette grimaces. THAT took a turn...
<DeathStar> *Neekito carefully keeps her arm on Ellie, cautiously leading her back out into the hallway something seems to have gotten her heckles up*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh heads out quietly.
<DeathStar> *once back out in the hallway* <Selena> Well. IT's a shame we didn't get a chance to look at their relic room.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Kalam has a lot of .... anger still.
<Seraphna> Jaime> We'll get the chance again.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Should I try to find my sister before we go?
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I think so."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yes. Also don't be in a rush to leave.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "That... was a pretty sensitive issue. Why did you push her on it?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Because she's hiding something from us.
<Sara> <Ellie> You really have no sense of prudence, do you?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Not really.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'm not good at that, but..."
<DeathStar> *Neekito walks the hallways; the protective charms in place to keep the cold and snow out for areas of the monestary not complete. As they pass a wall not finished, it seems to keep the snow out*
<DeathStar> *as they soon reach an area with rooms, they'll find Kito talking to the Ents as they go to their rooms. Kito leaning on a wand that seems to have dark magiks floating about it*
<DeathStar> <Kito> Hm hm hm~. *She eyes the construction plans*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Looking good Kito.
<DeathStar> *Kito begins to move off down a dark hallway with the plans, but then pauses*
<DeathStar> <Kito> Hm? Oh. Hello.
<DeathStar> *she puts the plans up in her pocket* <Kito> Hello everyone~. Done with your meeting? So, I'd give your but the building is massively incomplete.

<Seraphna> Jaime> We seem to have upset her and she lost track of what we were here for. We still need to look into why the Spirits are acting as they are.
<Seraphna> **Jaime fixes Titan's Glove on** I'll work on the walls with you when the rest leave.
<DeathStar> <Selena> She did give us a hint on what to do.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Search for more lost information?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> Try to speed a core's growth inside a spirit. How, I have no idea
<DeathStar> <Kito> Hm. Well, Kalam has a lot of stress going on right now. I'm sure she'll let it go.
<DeathStar> <Kito> But you're trying to figure out why the spirits are acting strange?
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "What's been going on out here? If you're having some trouble, you can reach out you know."
<DeathStar> <Kito> Well, for Kalam's part, she lost all her friends and organization in one day as well as her home. I think it kind of broke her a bit. She's still pushing on by rebuilding
<DeathStar> <Kito> Each person rejoining and each item we find I think helps.
<DeathStar> <Kito> But for the spirit situation. ... Hm. Follow me
<DeathStar> *she moves down the dark hallway*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Yeah... but there's more than that going on. The energy here is just... off."
<DeathStar> <Kito> Ah, you're probably feeling me.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "You give off strange energy?"
<DeathStar> <Kito> I'm a blood mage. One of the worst kinds of mages.
<DeathStar> *she says it so cheerfully, you'd think she was joking*

<Seraphna> Alita> **shakes her head** It's a risky magic, not necessarily evil.
<DeathStar> <Kito> It brought Neekito back to life.
<Seraphna> Alita> Exactly.
<DeathStar> <Kito> It helps me sense things when I truly tap into it
<DeathStar> <Selena> So if we wanted answers, you could use your blood magik
<DeathStar> <Kito> For a price.
<Seraphna> Jaime> She got rather upset by the question, but has Death been back here?
<Sara> * Ellie eyes Jaime
<Seraphna> Jaime> I'm rather... unhappy that we don't know where she is.
<DeathStar> <Kito> Death? I haven't seen her. *Stops by a door* Is that what you think is lurking about here?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well with the strange energy and the fact that Kalam is keeping something secret, it was a possibility. I also worry if she MIGHT be and you all DON'T know, if you catch my drift.
<DeathStar> *Kito uses her magik wand; those steeped in the magik arts would sense a type of magical arts using Kito's body, on a small scale, unlocking the door*
<Seraphna> Jaime> I'm nto sure I entirely trust that she was cured of her bloodlust.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Personally, I'm worried about the lengths that Kalam is planning on going to for revenge."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'm worried about all of this."
<Sara> <Elllie> It's understandable to worry about Death but that doesn't mean you need to suspect everyone and everything, y'know. It's normal enough for people to have their secrets.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I'm certain if Death was here, she'd be in a torture chamber of some sort."
<DeathStar> <Kito> ... give me a bit and I'll do a search. It'll take me time to set up the blood magik search. *The door opens to reveal the relic room*
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods a little, then muses** You know Nico... that could be a possibility. Especially with her reaction.
<DeathStar> *Kito begins to make a magic circle with her blood, opening vials on her person and pouring it about. Neekito stands by and watches*
<DeathStar> *Selena moves and glances; it seems Kalam has recovered tomes on the spirits and relics related to the spirits. She opens the tomes and begins to read*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Regardless of the reason, if Death is here, we need to know."
<Ariel> * Nicolette seems... uncomfortable with the blood magic. More sad than judging though.

<DeathStar> <Selena> "When the kingdoms are not at war, the spirits are likely to be more in harmony, when the Kingdoms are at odds, so too are the Spirits. What happens when all of Geyze is at war? Do the spirits destroy us?"
<Seraphna> **Alita frowns at that and shakes her head**
<Seraphna> Jaime> I'd rather ask the question how to we stop the world from constantly being in conflict with itself. There's too many other dangers out there.
<DeathStar> *As Kito works* There are some dangerous relics about the room. I believe Kalam was desperate to find one that affected the moods of spirits. Not sure if we found it or not.
<DeathStar> *She strips naked and places some of the blood on herself in the form of tattoos*

It seems stuff has been set up to draw on her power as a spirit, almost C'en like, but without hurting her, to help with the serch of relics and other lost Summoni material*

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Hate to say it, but this sounds a lot like someone making a power play."

<DeathStar> <Kalam> But whoever did it did this to help me hunt relics? Or to keep Death trapped and make me look like the bad guy?

<Seraphna> Jaime> In Zephyr's case, yes. It's not really her fault though.

<Seraphna> Jaime> I live with the Ents daily, the only reason they even tolerate technology is because of my influence.

<Seraphna> Alita> I imagine a long time, her time is now moving at a crawl compared to what it just was.
