<Seraphna> **Nell plots as she sets snacks down for Seniga**

<Jackieness> <Bella> *cycles through the screens, looking for any further activity in one of the other safehouses*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "I'm thinking..."
<Seraphna> **Nox sighs, resting in a shadow**
<DeathStar> *so far there doesn't seem to be any activity and Chelsea hasn't awakened. Cloé attempts to feed her now and again when Seniga rolls out into the back with the weapons they took*

<MobileAri> * Nicolette seems to be playing solitaire of some sorts with her maka cards, constantly quitting half way through and starting over
<DeathStar> <Seniga> Well, I believe we can stop ourselves from being tracked. *She holds up a small little whimsy device made from the parts of the weapons and bullets* As for stopping the shocking ability when the subject users their power, I can't seem to neutralize that completly. <DeathStar> <Selena> Then let us proceed. *As they step out into, rain hits them; lately the rains have been more purified thanks to Ymir's efforts, but there is a taste of recycled rain water like the old days*

<DeathStar> <Selena> *she eyes the platforms covering the lower levels*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Looks like they are closing up the air gaps."
<Seraphna> Nell> This guy is so stuck in the past he’s trying to make the city as shitty as it used to be?
<DeathStar> <Selena> So, either it is a petty power play as Nell has pointed out, or there is something going on
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "That guy never liked the 'lower class'."
<Jackieness> <Bella> "I guess... taken to the extreme, he'll nuke the terraformed districts outside the city and force everyone back into the city itself where they cna be watched, controlled, etc."

<DeathStar> <Selena> If he tried that the Spirits out in the villages will be riled. But I have to wonder. Where is Aska, Shade, and Gale that are in this city
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Insane? Totally. From what I heard, this guy wasn't exactly stable to begin with... probably worse toward the end."
<Seraphna> Nox> Let’s kick his ass.
<Seraphna> **Nox frowns and feels for her grandmother**

<Jackieness> <Bella> "If they are around, they might be somewhere where there's alot of spirit energy... so they may be plugged into the shield towers."
<Seraphna> Nox> But I should feel that energy… she’s just… not there.

<DeathStar> <Selena> Do we follow up on that safe house, this rain, the missing spirits, or try to go after this leader himself
<Jackieness> <Bella> "We have two potential high value targets. Cut the head off of the beast, or take out the shield towers and leave this guy vulnerable to Alliance and Suisen counteraction."
<Seraphna> Nell> I’m worried about Mom but we have no leads there.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Both targets are likely to be guarded
<Jackieness> <Bella> "And there's been no signs at the other safe houses, so we don't know where the moms are."
<Jackieness> <Bella> "As Selena said, we could investigate the one safehouse that we know they were at, but it could also be watched."
<DeathStar> *Selena muses* With towers, we'd have to bring down 5. Macross Corporation is just one
<Seraphna> Nell> Let’s start at the safehouse and look for clues.
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "We're in enemy territory. We definitely should strengthen our base here."
<DeathStar> *Origin claps*
<DeathStar> *Sending bright light around the area and drawing eyes*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...don't do that."
<DeathStar> *Origin looks confused*
<DeathStar> *Selena a-hems* Let us hurry
<DeathStar> *Seniga seems to be doing calculations under her cloak. The group as they head for the maintaince tunnels pass patrols, all armored up*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "It gets extra attention while we need to be sneaky."
<Seraphna> **Nox makes then blend more while Nell keeps a wary eye on the patrols**
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> *to Origin* "We don't want to get caught."
<DeathStar> *Origin sneaks into her pocket as as the patrol passes. As they get to the entrance to the maintence tunnels, they find cameras and padlock*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "They wised up."
<DeathStar> <Selena> So what do we do?
<Seraphna> Nox> I could try sneaking in via the shadows.
<Seraphna> Nell> I could deconstruct this lock in seconds. Issue is the cameras.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "I could try a hack on them. Carries risk though."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Well -- sounds like you both should do it at the same time
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Right. Fortunately, I'm better prepared for this sicne we geared up at the safehouse."
<Seraphna> **Nell nods and readies to take the locks apart**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *gets the mobile hacking tool ready and prepares to jack in*
<DeathStar> *Origin peeks out*
<DeathStar> *Seniga readies for back up incase things go side-ways*
<Seraphna> **Nell gets started in the lock taking it apart**
<DeathStar> *the camera begins to focus*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries taking the camera to loop mode*
<DeathStar> *it seems to loop*
<DeathStar> <Selena> We good?
<DeathStar> *As the door is unlocked*
<MobileAri> * Nicolette takes a look around to make sure no one is watching them
<Seraphna> **Nell shrugs and moves to step in**
<DeathStar> *they seem in the clear, but the shadows and the rain does make it feel like someone could be in the shadows*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "The cameras are on loop, with digitally updated timestamps to look current. I think we're clear."
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "Let's hurry. Something feels off..."
<DeathStar> <Selena> *moves through the tunnels, glancing back* Lets hope it is not those units with those weapons
<Seraphna> **Nox muses and keeps a look out in the shadows**
<MobileAri> * Nicolette nods, and adjusts her stary cape on her shoulders
<Jackieness> <Bella> "We know what to do at least."
<Seraphna> **Nell starts looking things over ahd tajing scans**
<DeathStar> *as they walk along, there is echoing behind them in the puddles now and then as if someone might be following, but as they cross over into Quad 7, and toward Quad 1, the rain lets up and the puddles ends, making the footstep sounds end behind them*
<DeathStar> *could be echoes*
<DeathStar> *or a worker*
<DeathStar> *Seniga looks shifty eyed while Selena seems to be trying to figure out her way*
<Seraphna> **Nox leaves a hole in the next puddle as they walk**
<DeathStar> *As they reach the next locked gate into Quad 1, there's a slight noise down the way*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *holds a hand up to stop everyone*
<MobileAri> * Nicolette keeps an eye out for marks left by the underground as they walk
<DeathStar> <Selena> I think I heard someone trip for a second
<Seraphna> **Nox nods** That’s a tail.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...I'll go on ahead and check it out."
<DeathStar> *Seniga works on disabling the camera* <Seniga> Nell - the gate
<Seraphna> **Nell works on it**
<DeathStar> *Origin has turned around, eyeing behind them into the dark*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *heads to check out the noise, ninja style*
<MobileAri> * Nicolette casually slips a card from her sleeve. She doesn't look back, but she's clearly focused
<DeathStar> *As the two break down the barrier, somewhere in the dark, a group of the same forces ambush Bella, swinging charged swords at her while another fires the bullets at her arm to try to disable it. The rest swarm the others' position*
<DeathStar> *They seem to cloak in and out with the darkness*
<DeathStar> <Origin> *makes a comedic fright sound*
<DeathStar> <Selena> *Draws her blade and clashes with one as they get close*
<Jackieness> <Bella> attempts to dodge the bullets, while tossing a pair of throwign blades when she can draw a bead on them*
<DeathStar> *Bella manages to dodge the bullets, but gets clipped a bit by the sword, drawing blood. The two ninjas on her continue their advance, even if one of them has blades in their armor*
<MobileAri> * Nicolette activates the judgement card, trying to tie down the attacking forces
<Seraphna> **Nox pulls one further into the darkness with a consuming darkness of her own, while Nell throws pieces of licks around at them**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *dashes toward the ninja she tagged with her throwing blades and attempt to grab the blades to stab at the neck joint of the armor in close range*
<DeathStar> *As Nicolette grabs onto them, Selena mercilessly slashes forward before bullets can go flying, stabbing into their chests and disabling their gun hands and lets Nox back her up. One of the ninjas pulls something out, a device with a button, even as they're restrained and attempts to hit it*
<Seraphna> **Nell grabs it with magnetics**
<Seraphna> *at it
<DeathStar> *Bella manages to wound the two ninjas and they stumble back while Nell and the ninja strain with their detonator*
<Seraphna> **Nox rises up the Ninja’s shadow and tendril cuts at his wrist**
<DeathStar> *Seniga looks around, feeling like someone else is around, as Nox does that and Nell gets the detonator*
<Seraphna> Nell> Sen what is this crap?
<DeathStar> <Seniga> Some sort of cloaking armor. The last ones didn't have it
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries to press the advantage and take out at least one of the ninja with a neck lock and snap*
<DeathStar> <Seniga> I think someone is observing how we're doing and using Macross' resources
<DeathStar> *as Bella does so, the other one tries to lift their sword to stab when Selena throws her blade at them from across the room*
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "I had a feeling... I wonder how long they've been tailing us."
<DeathStar> <Selena> If Nicolette is right, they'll keep getting better. There might be one left watching us now
<Seraphna> Nox> **frowns and inspects their armor**
<DeathStar> *it looks like a light frabric but inside it seems to be some sort of reflective camo type armor. Thankfully piercing it this time was easy*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *then checks to make sure the other one went down to Selena's blade*
<DeathStar> *they seem to be too wounded to move at least*
<DeathStar> <Selena> So
<DeathStar> <Selena> We going to keep trying to reach the safehouse?
<Seraphna> Nell> We may as well.
<Seraphna> Nox> Do we really have other options right now?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "And these guys? At least the ones we didn't kill?"
<DeathStar> *Selena muses* I-
<DeathStar> <Origin> <Want me to deal with them?>
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Mom would say kill them."
<Seraphna> Nell> Mine would eat them. But she’s clean now.
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "Don't kill them... could you make them sleep, Origin?"
<DeathStar> *Origin hmmm's, then glows a certain color and all the groaning stops*
<DeathStar> <Origin> <Sleep!>
<DeathStar> <Selena> Let us hurry then.
<Jackieness> <Bella> *nods and heads forward*
<Seraphna> **Nell and Nox proceed**
<DeathStar> *she readjusts her cloak and heads back into the slums; thankfully no rain is falling here, as they walk along. The slums of Quad 1 are a lot better than most, probably due to the proximity to Macross itself, but it still has problems. People on vehicles drive by on the lower levels and it rises high into the dark sky of the plates above, an oppressive atmosphere here even if it is a better run slum.*
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "...was this sector always nicer? I think I'd have been jealous, when I was younger."
<DeathStar> <Seniga> It varies from slum to slum, yeah
<DeathStar> <Seniga> Quad 1 and 2 got it best.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Each sector was phyicallys eparated from each other with walls and checkpoints."
<DeathStar> <Seniga> It got brought down when Ymir was in charge
<DeathStar> *As the group walks along old streets that have been "Remade" by the people of the slums for their make shift vehicles, the group soon arrives at the safe house, tucked away near an old apartment building*
<DeathStar> *the apartment building actually looking fairly decent, a bit like the bar's tall building; the citizens hanging about the apartment windows and smoking*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Keep an eye out..."*checks the entryway*
<DeathStar> <Seniga> From the research I did, reach Corporation was in charge of their sector of the city
<DeathStar> <Seniga> It's one reason when they had to build on top of it, it was up to them when it went to hell
<DeathStar> *Each
<DeathStar> *the entry-way seems to be clear and nothing suspicious*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Door looks clear. Anyone hanging around that looks sus?"
<MobileAri> * Nicolette glances back over her shoulder, looking to see if rain is hitting anything that she can't see
<DeathStar> *Nicolette would spot among the crowd now and again, as if they seem to be bumping into someone, or brushing around something, across the street, but it could be the trick of the eye*
<Seraphna> **Nox peers about while Nell approaches the entrance**
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...I'm taking point." *slips isndie as quietly as she can manage*
<DeathStar> *Selena follows quietly and Seniga quietly does as well*
<MobileAri> * Nicolette heads inside, and speaks quietly, "I think we're still being followed."
<Jackieness> <Bella> *looks around for another ambush* "...not a surprise."
<DeathStar> *the safehouse remains trashed like they saw before; Seniga immediately begins to walk around, looking for clues*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *also looks around*
<DeathStar> <Selena> I wonder why they are keeping their distance then.
<DeathStar> *as they look around, the group finds a quickly written note left on the table - it appears to be from Asarar*
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "They don't have enough of a force on site to deal with us? Or they have other plans."
<Jackieness> <Bella> *reads the note*
<DeathStar> <Seniga> Well if Terran just took over Ymir's forces under duress, I could imaine that is the case
<DeathStar> <Seniga> He might be having to dig up old resources
<Seraphna> Nell> So what’s it say?
<DeathStar> *The note reads: Attack on HQ failed. Luci is compromised - beware of her. Maxwell is gathering his forces - either creating or recruiting from people he fired years ago, going to get risky fast. Will try to do a sneak attack on him. If fails, do not expect to hear from us. Stay safe
<Seraphna> Nell> Mom is compromised…? What did they do to her!?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...and no word since. Damn it." *looks at the others* "...we need to move fast."
<DeathStar> <Selena> I wonder how she got compromised. ... Bella is right though. *Seniga pokes around the place, dumping weapons down*
<DeathStar> <Seniga> Here's some guns, net stuff, and more
<DeathStar> <Seniga> Luci might have joined Ymir
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "This doesn't feel right..." She frowns.
<Seraphna> Nell> But… Ymir was good…
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Brainwashing is a possibility." *goes through the collected gear form soem more upgardes*
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "This place was raided... why is there a note here for us?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> True, I would think this place was hot
<Jackieness> <Bella> "I was wondering the same thing. Its also unguarded. Not plannign to stay here though."
<DeathStar> <Seniga> *boots up the equipment* ... it's not working. It won't connect to the other safehouses
<DeathStar> *she tries to look outside* It looks clear
<Seraphna> Nox> Maybe we shouldn’t stay long. That or someone else is watching over us.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Of course not. This place is compromised. Can't let them use our own gear against us."
<DeathStar> <Selena> So
<DeathStar> <Selena> Are we going forward? Where to?
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "They're definitely keeping a watch on us. And they left this for us to find. I wish I could guess what their trick."
<DeathStar> <Seniga> Asarar wants us out
<DeathStar> <Seniga> I take it we aren't going to listen
<Jackieness> <Bella> "LEt's get moving then." *heads for the door*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Don't discuss our plans in here. Might be bugged."
<DeathStar> *As they walk out, Selena looks around the street when a large flapping sound can be heard. People begin to look up*
<Seraphna> **Nell’s ears go back and she looks up**
<DeathStar> *Luci can be seen in the sky, as the massive dragon begins to wreck things as she comes down - for the team. Clearly not to greet them. Unless greet means eat*
<DeathStar> <Selena> ... Shit
<DeathStar> *people begin to scream and flee*
<DeathStar> <Seniga> I uh, suggest we get into a ... um.... out of the opening. *She eyes the apartment building
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Move!"
<Seraphna> **Nell looks shocked but Nox covers the team in Shadow and jumps them away a bit**
<DeathStar> *Selena rushes forward as Luci roars, breathing fire upon the slums*
<DeathStar> *As she chases after the warped group. Origin trembles on Nicolette as Luci swoops along, knocking building aside, trying to knock them on top of them*
<Seraphna> Nell> I-I can’t fight MOM!
<DeathStar> <Selena> Then keep moving!
<Jackieness> <Bella> "We need to escape, so focus on that!"
<Seraphna> **Nox warps them again**
<DeathStar> *Nox's warp ends them in front of a shop with a long street, and a building with a fireescape up to the roof. Luci can be seen flapping toward them*
<DeathStar> <Selena> She's still coming; *her tail grabbing a car and throwing it down the street and almost hitting them*
<Seraphna> **Nell tosses the car back at her**
<Seraphna> Nox> Where to!?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "This way." *heads into the shop and runs for the back*
<DeathStar> *Luci is whapped by a car*
<MobileAri> * Nicolette holds onto her hat and runs after Bella
<DeathStar> *Selena hurries in and Seniga pants, following*
<Seraphna> **Nell and Nox follow**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *looks for stairs to a basement or a backdoor*
<DeathStar> *As they enter, it looks to be a type of alcohol store, and there is indeed a backdoor and a basement*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *goes to check the basement door*
<DeathStar> *it seems to be open*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Let's see..." *heads down*
<Seraphna> **N-Squad follows**
<MobileAri> * Nicolette follows with urgency, wanting to be out of the fire trap
<DeathStar> *as they go downward, a blast fires out; it looks like the store clerk ran down there*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Shit! We're just lookign for cover!"
<DeathStar> *The store owner eyes them suspiciously, when Luci roars above them*
<DeathStar> <Store Owner> Just keep it --- *suddenly it feels a little warmer. It seems she set the store above on fire*
<Seraphna> **Nell forms a shield over the doorway**
<Jackieness> <Bella> "IS nothing sacred?!"
<Seraphna> Nox> Shit the booze.
<DeathStar> <Selena> She hates alcohol?
<Seraphna> Nox> No it’s FLAMMABLE.
<DeathStar> *Seniga panics as smoke fills the basement*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *looks at the store owner* "Is there another way out of here?!"
<DeathStar> <Clerk> Ah, um... *He pushes some crates aside with alcohol to reveal a smuggler's trapdoor*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Thank you." *tries to pull the trapdoor open*
<DeathStar> *As they get it open, Luci's head busts through and eyes them*
<DeathStar> *opening her mouth to eat the clerk*
<DeathStar> <Selena> ....
<DeathStar> *she then turns to eye the others, moving to eat them*
<Seraphna> **Nox uses her darkness to blind Luci**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries to pull the clerk back if it isn't too late*
<Seraphna> **Nell flings metal stuff at Luci before leaping down the trap door**
<DeathStar> *Selena helps get Nicolette down into the trapdoor and into a watery area*
<DeathStar> *Luci meanwhile roaring at Nell; it looks like a manmade water way to transport booze*
<Seraphna> **Nox drags Bella and the Clerk down into the dark below**
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Nell, no offense, but your mom sucks."
<Seraphna> Nell> The only way this could happen is if someone’s overpowered her ego. B-But Ymir wasn’t a bad person!
<DeathStar> *Nox drags the remains of the clerk along?*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Ymir probably got brainwashed too."

<Jackieness> <Bella> "What else can we do? We're trapped on Kumen, and they won't stop coming for us unless someone takes Maxwell Terran out."
<Seraphna> Nell> Terran’s gonna PAY!
