<DeathStar> *Gwen looks surprised at how well this is going as they are allowed to simply walk inside the front door, where some high level maids meet them, bowing to Sasha* This way, Princess. *they guide them all to a fancy waiting room of sorts, serving tea and snacks*

<DeathStar> *He follows along and Nicolette steps behind them; as they enter it, they find an older woman radiating power on the throne and Celes standing beside her. Nobles linger about, whispering, something you do not seem often in Celes' throne room these days. Aska moves to join the room and finds a spot*

<Seraphna> **Amber walks quietly, letting the strangely dark robes and cloak on her do the work of not advertising who she is**
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *steps toward the throne and gives a formal curtsey*

<DeathStar> *Yuki coughs as they arrive in an empty room that was the lab*

<DeathStar> <Yuki> Either way... we might want to keep moving.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Right." *moves for the door and then slides it open a bit to check if the coast is clear*
<DeathStar> *it seems clear; she spots what looks to be guards searching further down the hallway, checking rooms for someone or something*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I wonder what they are looking for?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh...maybe Liana or Selena gave them the slip."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Maybe. Should we go take them out and see?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...I could weave an effect that might knock them out by affecting the inner ear..."

<DeathStar> <Zhuian Hapian> Sasha. I thought your unit was out exploring the Magi ruins. *her red eyes shift to the cloaked Amber, before returning to Sasha* What brings you back here so early.
<DeathStar> *Gwen fidgets, standing in front of Nicolette*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...the Magi ruins. There we encoutnered a being that claimed to be an Ancient. It caused havok before escaping."
<DeathStar> <Zhuian Hapian> An ancient lurking in the Magi Ruins? That's quite the discovery since they have not been seen in over 10,000 years. I suppose that is why you went promptly back to your headmistress' office. To warn them, yes.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Yes, though the headmistress was away, and we ran into some trouble with an instructor for one of the tamaes who took exception to us loitering as we waited, so I have come to you. This being is dangerous."
<Seraphna> **Amber eyes Zhuian from under her hood, questions she’s been thinking of starting to fall into place**
<DeathStar> *the woman nods in thought* Of course. The Hapians can trace their lineage from the Ancients as you know. You did well coming straight here. It might even explain all these spies appearing lately. Well. *She rises* We'll have to help find this Ancient and investigate where it might be. You and your unit may rest here as we prepare a proper search and prepare some forces.
<DeathStar> *the maids show back up as if on command to take them to their rooms*

<Seraphna> Amber> **leans close to Sasha** Why would they turn the clock back to this time. A real Croza that is. **she whispers in her ear**
<MobileAri> * Nicolette is quietly keeping her head down, having learned the techniques of attracting, or deflecting, attention long before she learned to throw her first fireball. Still... even if she didn't know how true to life this all is, it's quite interesting.
<DeathStar> *Zhuian eyes Amber and Nicolette as they leave the room and are led toward the bedrooms, Gwen looking sickly from stress as they arrive*

<Seraphna> Amber> Really. If a Croza wanted to turn Geyze back to their advantage they’d go back to mom’s time.

<Seraphna> **Terra muses, then poofs to check Soren’s hideout since it’s in the castle**
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Have you ever known me to have such a sense of humor?"
<DeathStar> *Celes gives a sour look and sits on the bed* So the entire world is in an earlier time period. So how do you plan to fix it. *She puts emphasis on you*
<Seraphna> Amber> A counterspell most likely. A lot of innocent lives depend on it.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We need to confront the Ancient, assuming it is what it claimed to be."
<DeathStar> <Celes> Well mother will try to locate it. ... *She trails off*
<MobileAri> <Nicolette> "It wouldn't be the first person we've found that came back from the dead..."
<Seraphna> Amber> I still don’t see how it makes sense considering what we know of the other Sins.
<DeathStar> <Celes> I just don't think she'll hand it over when she does. I'm not sure she trusts you all

<DeathStar> *Aska warps them into the dungeons; compared to present day with Celes, who rarely needs to use them, the dungeons reeks and people moan down here now. Whipping sounds can be heard and people rattle the doors, eyeing them as they appear. The group spots Yuki and Luna along with the others sneaking about looking for Liana and Selena*

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *nods and moves forward after Celes*

<DeathStar> *as they move along, Yuki turns* <Yuki> Oh look who joined us. *she nods at the guards moving in front of the interrogation room*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Celes confirmed that Selena was down here."
<MobileAri> * Nicolette stays between Sasha and Celes, hoping no one will question her if she's with them.
<Seraphna> Amber> Seems excessive to keeping us from her. Aska, think the guards will move for you it should we move them?

<DeathStar> <Aska> I've never outright ordered the guards to do something outside the Queen's orders. I can try. *She moves over*

<DeathStar> *outside facing her and talking, the guaruds seem to refuse to budge unless the order comes from the queen*

<Seraphna> Amber> Only reason I’d use the Mother Combo.
<DeathStar> *as they walk in, they see Selena tied up partially naked with needles in her side and a large man with holding hot tools against her back, searing; it's hard to say if this is to make her talk or just plain torture*
<DeathStar> *he looks up at them entering and tries to swing the hot bar at them*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...take him."
<Seraphna> **Terra opens her hand and forms a hand out of the floor by the guy to grab him**
<DeathStar> *Gwen pull out his sword and puts magic into them and leaps forward to parry and slash while Yuki launches foxfire*
<DeathStar> *the man is parried and then grabbed, being slashed and foxfired, making him struggle*
<Seraphna> Amber> **just starts walking for Selena to check her wounds**
<Seraphna> **Talia hops out of Lana’s boobs and slashes at the man as she forms humanoid**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh...remember, this guy may not be a torturer in normal time."
<DeathStar> *They're fairly bad, burn marks all over her back, but nothing magic can't fix; Selena opens her eyes, having been using low level spirit energy to try to keep a meditative state* <Selena> ... thank the spirits.
<DeathStar> *The man falls backwards into his tool rack*
<Seraphna> **Amber heals her wounds, her own magic having a golden godlike glow to it**
<DeathStar> *Gwen pauses before stabbbing downward, then sheathes his blade*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Has anyone found any ign of Liana?"
<Seraphna> **Terra has the tool rack bend and shift and bind the man to the wall**
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Sadly not yet
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Luna is sure she is somewhere nearby.
<MobileAri> * Nicolette helps Selena out of there, wrapping her cloak around her shoulders.
<Seraphna> Amber> So Liana.. awkward time to ask but you had a lead?

<DeathStar> *Selena nods to Amber and Nicolette and when the wounds are in a somewhat healed state, she sits up and gets her armored clothes on*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Right. I believe our Croza might have taken advantage of this time warp state to go to the Spirit Realm.
<DeathStar> *Celes quietly studies Selena next to Luna*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "There must be something the Croza eft there that we have not found yet..."
<DeathStar> *Selena brings out from her pocket some crumbled up old Hapian maps she stuffed in there*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Actually the opposite
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhhh?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> I was going over stuff that we KNOW of that is Ancient tech. For example, this castle has some of it and the land around us. There's some ancient tech in the systems in a few of the magi tower to a lesser degree and other areas. But as you get closer to the present day you begin to replace it with spirit tech, that the Hapians based it on Ancient tech
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Most of the Ancient tech is broken anyway."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Right. But ... we're in a replica of the past now
<DeathStar> <Selena> I don't know if the Croza was the one who did this wish, but
<DeathStar> <Selena> I think it's going into the spirit realm to get the major Ancient tech that's in there
<Seraphna> Amber> I’d more expect Sasha’s mother or someone similar to wish this time period.
<DeathStar> *she points at the location where the ship used to be until a few years ago*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "We know there was a crashed pyramid ship in there with the lab where the Death spirit was imprisoned."

<Jackieness> <Lana> "So is the Death spirit trapped there again, because we saw ehr at the Academy before this happened."

<DeathStar> *Selena goes into half-spirit mode, wincing, then warps them up; the group would spy soldiers gathering*

<DeathStar> <Selena> I missed something. <Celes> What is mother doing?

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "They must have tracked the Ancient to the Spirit Realm just as Selena suggested."
