<DeathStar> *A week has passed since the battle at the Idol Ship and all seems to have slowly returned to normal; Asarar's group has returned back to Kumen and Selena has gone back to Hapian to work on governing things. Avenir remains in a deep sleep, occassionally having nightmares.*
<DeathStar> *Lumi works at the Peacekeepers while Gwen lounges around outside, fanning himself*
<Seraphna> **Talia sits on Gwen, though she is tiny**
<Seraphna> **Terra is pouty about Avenir still asleep and flops on Fae**
<DeathStar> <Gwen> So is this it? The big bad is gone and we get to have normal lives now?
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'm... not sure."
<DeathStar> *he watches the students slowly coming in for fall classes*
<Seraphna> Talia> Nah, there will always be wicked villains trying to get Talia’s fish.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *remains in her lab*
<Seraphna> **Talia eyes a crab walking along, sideways like a villain**
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "... it's like the crabs are celebrating the evil being gone."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'm left with a conundrum though. I should archive things, but how much can I actually talk about what happened?"
<Seraphna> Talia> Now their reign can begin. The battles will be long and have lots of butter.
<DeathStar> <Lumi> What do you mean, Ceilidh. *she plops down for a break*
<DeathStar> *Lana would feel eyes on her as she works*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "There are many things you're not supposed to talk about, but I guess I can ask Lana just how much I can write down."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "A guide on how to defeat the evil next time would be a good idea though."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "...unless it really is gone for good."
<DeathStar> *Suddenly, there's a shaking sound at Chelsea's house and smoke rises*
<Seraphna> Talia> Oh no, evil rise!
<Seraphna> Talia> You jinxed it.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Did not."
<Seraphna> **Talia goes to check it out**
<DeathStar> *Cloé sits covered in soot at the garage*
<Seraphna> Talia> Gasps! You need bath!
<DeathStar> <Cloé> *coughs out soot*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> What happened here?
<Seraphna> Talia> Soot monster!?
<DeathStar> <Cloé> I was trying to upgrade my armor
<Seraphna> Talia> With a soot demon?
<Alicia> * Ceilidh heads over. "I think she just had an accident with the upgrade."
<DeathStar> *the cat armor sparks, overloaded with the stuff she added*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I think she blew it up
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *makes an appearance* "I came to investigate reports of an explosion."

<Seraphna> Talia> That’ll happen with a soot demon.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "There is no soot demon."
<DeathStar> <Cloé> I wanted to become cool like momma
<DeathStar> *Lumi studies the scene of the crime when Lana's lab suddenly falls off the grid*
<Seraphna> Talia> Are we sure the soot demon isn’t tricking you?
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Yes."
<DeathStar> <Lumi> .. did Cloé overpower Lana's lab?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...I see. Is this incident under control?"
<DeathStar> *she taps her sensors*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "What?" *comms Lana* "Is everything okay?"
<DeathStar> *no response*
<DeathStar> <Cloé> I-I did no such thing. *She climbs up a shelf in a panic, knocking Chelsea's tools over*
<Seraphna> Talia> **feels for Lana in the Rack**
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'd better go check on her."
<Sara> *one of the tools starts beeping*
<DeathStar> *Cloé freaks out and jumps*
<DeathStar> <Lumi> Lets go. *Gwen nods*
<Seraphna> Talia> She’s in the lab.
<DeathStar> *Cloé clings to the Mew*
<Seraphna> Talia> I feel her pillows in the Rack.
<DeathStar> <Lumi> The rack? What kind of torture device is that?
<Seraphna> Talia> It is the power of all pillows.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Well, at least that just means communications are down."
<Seraphna> **Talia heads to the lab**

<Seraphna> Talia> Feel for Threna. She is also strong in the rack.
<DeathStar> *Gwen follows and Cloé steathily goes after them; the lab looks to be shut down, though a creepy feeling can be felt in the air*
<Seraphna> Talia> I sense danger. And pillows.
<DeathStar> *Lana's lab doors look to be forced open, a trace of something corrisive and familiar on them*
<DeathStar> *gooping down onto the floor*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Of course it wasn't gone forever."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> ... *leaps past to get to Lana*
<Seraphna> Talia> Icky corruption!
<Seraphna> Talia> **she starts burning it away with a fire spell**
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *draws her sword and moves for the lab*
<DeathStar> *the goop slowly burns away as they find Lana laying there. Lumi quietly checks on Selena while they do*
<DeathStar> *Lana can be seen laying on the floor, goop surrounding her*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh goes to retrieve Lana, using purification magic to keep the goop away
<DeathStar> *Gwen lifts her up* Got her
<DeathStar> *he backs up with Ceilidh's help8

<Jackieness> <Lana> *limp*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Search the lab."
<Seraphna> **Talia burns more of it** Did another baddie take the relic again?
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Anyone got a search spell?
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> *wakes up Lana with revival magic* "What happened? Did the relic go missing?"
<DeathStar> *Lana would find herself awakening*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhhh?"
<DeathStar> 8soon the lights come back on after the room is cleansed*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "You suddenly dropped off the grid, there was eldritch goop everywhere, and we're not sure what happened."
<DeathStar> *allowing Cloé to begin searching*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "....it was...it was the Haunter of the Dark..."
<Seraphna> Talia> I thoughts we beat her?
<DeathStar> <Cloé> Lana has an area broken into
<DeathStar> *she reveals an area with stuff removed*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhhh?"
<DeathStar> *Lumi pokes her head in* We might have a situation; Hapian Castle is reporting cases of people having nightmares and seeing stuff.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...help me up."
<DeathStar> *Gwen lifts her up*
<Seraphna> Talia> Aww… more evil. See Ceil?
<Jackieness> <Lana> *tries standing on her feet and then goes to see what was taken*
<DeathStar> *Lana seems to have lost, once again, a certain Shining object*
<DeathStar> *but in it's place seems to be something new*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "It'd be nice if we could defend against that... but eldritch beings are a bit harder to stop than just interfering nobles."
<Alicia> * Ceilidh looks over at the something new
<DeathStar> *it appears to be a card addressed to Lana and telling her to turn away from the darkness if she values her life*
<Seraphna> Talia> How many times has that relic been stolen now?
<DeathStar> <Gwen> It wasn't me. <Cloe> Momma didn't do it!
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "We only just contained it..."
<DeathStar> <Lumi> Did you put any locks on it to make it harder to get into it? If so maybe it'll remain contained for a bit
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh?"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Either way, I hate to ask you to come along since you were just attacked, but. *she pulls Lana out of her lab*
<DeathStar> *Lumi
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...and I wove a warding over it since it tends to disappear on its own..." *eyes the card*
<Seraphna> Talia> Pillow power protecting.
<Seraphna> **Talia inspects Lana’s chest for damage**
<DeathStar> *Lumi leads the group to a carriage*
<DeathStar> <Lumi> We'll be back Sasha

<DeathStar> <Cloé> You think, um, it came here for it personally due to the ward?
<DeathStar> *as Gwen takes the reins and gets into the carriage, Cloé eyes her smoking cat armor and slumps*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I think its decided you're the biggest threat to it."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Send word if you require reinforcements."
<Seraphna> **Amber quietly joins them**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...probably because I'm the first person to contain it since Abdul Alhazred."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Quite the name
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Probably. I need to ask you about how much I can record about how to defeat the Haunter."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh..." *tilts her head to the side* "...that's a tricky one."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "That's why I'm asking."
<DeathStar> *They arrive at the castle soon and find it rather spookily quiet*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Well. That's not good.
<DeathStar> *He steps out and Cloé creeps out of the carriage. Lumi sets up a base camp at the carriage*
<Seraphna> Talia> Was really hoping for break to go on dates with Gwen.
<DeathStar> <Lumi> I'll get up base here to stay in touch with the academy. You all see what the sit-rep is inside
<DeathStar> <Gwen> We'll just make it a date while going hunting
<DeathStar> *Gwen pushes the front doors open and steps inside*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *takes a deep breath* "...let's go..."
<DeathStar> *inside, they find servants laying around, unconscious and having some sort of nightmare*
<Seraphna> Talia> People suffering curse even without eldritch…
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Due to the size of this place, I guess the best thing to do would be to ... find Selena?
<Seraphna> **Amber nods**
<DeathStar> *Gwen works his way up the stairs, Cloé following along; it has an uneasy feeling like in the lab, but so far no sign of eldritch stuff*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *weaves a detection effect*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I think we've gone from being seen as playthings to an actual threat... or at least a pest." *likewise casts detection magic*
<DeathStar> *Lana would detect eldritch fingerprints all over; but she'd also pick up something else - the spirits are in here, providing protection on the upper floors, and there's something else at play on he upper floors. Good or bad, it's hard to say*
<DeathStar> *The second detection spell finds a bit more*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...upper floors."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> *looks to Lana* "Invasion attempt?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "The spirits are on the upper floors, forming a defense. Something else is up there, but I can't tell what."
<DeathStar> *the upper floors find that the eldritch spell is alerting the time creatures, or attempting to draw their eyes, and at the same time, some device in the castle has been activated and is drawing a lot of power*
<DeathStar> *it looks like a whirlwind of chaos is going on*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> So what are we walking into...?
<Seraphna> Talia> Talia not like it.
<DeathStar> *he sucks in air as they near the upper floors, passing a soldier who was in the middle of yawning*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "i'm not sure... but multiple forces are at work here."
<DeathStar> *the group comes across a large set of doors, covered in eldritch stuff blocking it*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I think we're being told not to join the party
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'll let you choose whether to."
<Jackieness> <Lana> *weaves to examine the eldritch door*
<DeathStar> *a massive amount of eldritch corruption is all over the door, waiting to fall on whoever opens it*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...its an eldritch trap..."
<DeathStar> <Cloé> Ew. Talia, open it
<Jackieness> <Lana> "No, don't open it."
<Seraphna> **Talia hides behind Lana**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *weaves ehr thereal console and tries to disperse the eldritch corruption*
<DeathStar> *The corruption seems to mostly be dispersed, or atl east enough not to be dumped all over them*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> ... Should I .. open it?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "The threat has been diminished, but still be careful."
<Seraphna> **Taila aims** I blast?
<DeathStar> *Gwen yanks it open and what remains tries to fall*
<DeathStar> <Cloé> Eeek
<Jackieness> <Lana> *tries to raid-weave a barrier over Gwen*
<Jackieness> rapid
<Seraphna> **Talia burns at some of it for Gwen**
<Ariel> Clearly we need to summon Ozob to fight Bimbo
<DeathStar> *standing on the other side, Kito is aiming her weapons at them, in her maid outfit, Selena is in front of a secret passage, looking wary and her outfit partially messed up by stuff, and Neekito is off to the side*
<DeathStar> *Behind them in the secret passage seems to be a massive hidden library and more*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhhhh! Don't shoot!"
<DeathStar> <Kito> It is a rescue party
<DeathStar> *She shifts back*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "What? Lana? Not that we're not glad to see you, but what are you doing here?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "R.... rescue party..."
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I assume you are here with some plan to wake everyone and stop the Nyarlathoteps from going after Avenir. The other spirits are protecting her in her spirit chamber since Kalam fell asleep
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "... I think we are the rescue party... and we might need to rescue more people after this."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Pardon me, but you said that in a way to indicate more than one
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "...how many?"
<DeathStar> <Selena> The staff, before reporting they were falling asleep, stated seeing her. Or a him, or a monster verson of it.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Then they would fall asleep into a nightmare
<Jackieness> <Lana> "IT actually doens't have a gender that we understand gender."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I guess it can look how it wants to look... or... I don't know how to explain. It might be that we're not seeing it so much as... fingers."
<DeathStar> <Cloé> But why does it want Avenir?
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Spirit of time, I think that's pretty obvious."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Its timeless... maybe it wants a way to influence time."
<Alicia> * Ceilidh nods to Lana.
<Seraphna> Talia> Evil loopholes!
<DeathStar> <Selena> Well. We have another problem - me and Nicolette discovered something right before this happened
<DeathStar> *she leads them into the secret passage*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I don't know for certain, but that's a pretty strong theory."
<Jackieness> <Lana> *heads for the passageway*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh follows
<DeathStar> <Selena> I've double checked the map and I'm pretty sure this passage was one of the castle's normal passages with a hidden library but... *They enter the spirit realm, crossing into it* But it now crosses into the realm at this juncture and here you can find.. *in the center is a device that has turned itself on, looking like a Proto Croza device*
<DeathStar> <Selena> It suddenly appeared after the time shenigans
<Seraphna> Talia> That also bad?
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "... I'm not sure."
<DeathStar> <Selenga> Well, it appears to be trying to connect to something
<Alicia> * Ceilidh tries to track what
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...ahhhh! Fascinating." *weaves to exmaine the device*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Ah, do we have time to be looking into this?
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I'm not sure, but we can't afford not to."
<DeathStar> *it looks like it's trying to connect to somewhere in a galaxy far beyond their own, likely a Proto Croza galaxy that they once owned*
<DeathStar> <Selena> I'm not sure it has the power to reach far enough
<Jackieness> <Lana> "It must be calling home... ahhhh... I wodner if the surviving Proto Croza installations on Kumen and here on Geyze are reacting."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Maybe."
<DeathStar> <Selena> They might. We could send someone. IF not we could try to link them?
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I wanted to check if the pyramid to see if some information could be recovered, but... well, things happened."
<DeathStar> <Cloé> Right. We need to wake everyone up
<Seraphna> **Amber nods and starts weaving a massive status cute spell**
<DeathStar> *Everyone feels a bit cuter*

<DeathStar> *he steps out into the main part of the castle*

<DeathStar> *Kito and Neekito provide back up as Selena nods to Lana, heading out*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *continues her examination*
<DeathStar> *outside in the main castle, servants have begun to awaken*
<DeathStar> <Selena> Hm. Let us check on the spirits. We might can call this a case closed if all is well there
<DeathStar> *Selena works her way toward Soren's hidden area*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Case closed... that's maybe a bit strong."
<Seraphna> **Terra joins them carrying caffeine plants and ginseng roots**
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I'd only call it closed if we can purify everything
<DeathStar> *As they reach the area with the spirits, Avenir's spot has been completely encased with corruption. Soren, Shade, Nocturne, Tenebrae, Edea, etc, seem to be trying to get rid of it, but it seems unwilling to budge*

<Seraphna> **Talia muses, then goes to drag Lana up there**
<DeathStar> <Soren> That thing appeared and threw us aside with a weapon it wielded and stabbed it into Avenir's resting spot
<Seraphna> Terra> Must remove weapon then first. It curse source?
<DeathStar> *Gwen pokes the corruption, getting his sword melted*
<DeathStar> <Kito> Can you reach the weapon beyond the corruption?
<Seraphna> Terra> Maybe if Lana can part the corruption. I can use mind lift magic bring it up.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> *comm* "Everything okay?"
<Seraphna> **Talia carries Lana in**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *is drag-napped?*
<Seraphna> Talia> I brought sacred pillow cursebreaker
<DeathStar> *Soren muses if she can holy break the barrier; as they talk, it begins to feel like time has begun to feel strange*
<Ariel> * Nicolette attempts to help the spirits with pushing back the corruption, since she doesn't have the tools that others do
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhhh?"
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> *heads in with Lana* "You could just ask, Talia."
<DeathStar> *Soren holy blasts, working to form a crack*
<DeathStar> *But it looks like the barrier reforms itself quickly*
<Alicia> * Ceilidh uses purification magic to push the corruption back, mostly in a path way
<Jackieness> <Lana> *examines the barrier*
<Seraphna> **Amber frowns, letting the eldritch expert do her thing**
<DeathStar> *the barrier looks to be restoring itself rapidly via time*
<DeathStar> *though all of them gangig up on it is pushing it back*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Its using time powers to defend itself."
<Seraphna> Amber> Perhaos if you can slow or waste time it will weaken.
<Seraphna> Amber> I will try a void burst in the next attempt, it’s kind of an absence of time amongst everything else.
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I'm not going to just watch holovids."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Origin, I think we need your help here..."
<DeathStar> *Origin peeks out and chirps*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *starts to weavem trying to separate the time energy form th eldritch energy*
<DeathStar> *then choose time like powers to slow down it's regen*
<Seraphna> **Amber begins to work on voiding out the barrier**
<Seraphna> **Terra holds out a hand and waits**
<DeathStar> *the combined powers make it so thebarrier's ability to speedily heal itself seems to become non-existant; Soren begins to blast again, tearing into it enough to reveal the weapon a bit, looking like some sort of eldritch warrior weapon. Selena begins to slash into it, trying to carve her way to it*
<Seraphna> **Terra TK pulls at the weapon to try and bring it free without them touching it**
<DeathStar> *it begins to tug and pull a bit*
<DeathStar> *Gwen forms his iron blade protection to grab and help*
<DeathStar> *The weapon slowly pulling out*
<DeathStar> *Cloé flails and grabs Gwen and tugs*
<Seraphna> **Talia and Amber begin sending energy directly to Avenir so she can help herself too**
<DeathStar> *The weapon flings itself into Soren's wall*
<DeathStar> *the barrier dropping*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *moves over to examine the weapon, while the others rescue Avenir*
<Seraphna> **Terra creates a stature of the wall around it and has the stone puppet hold it apart from others**
<Ariel> * Nicolette hurries to Avenir's side, calling upon the cards to cast a maka healing spell
<DeathStar> *Avenir sits up, rubbing eyes*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Uh, is it good that she's awake?
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Yes, but that doesn't mean everything's fixed."
<Seraphna> Amber> considering time was a problem with her asleep too, we’re not sure if she was manipulated.
<DeathStar> <Avenir> They'll be here soon. They've taken notice of us
<Jackieness> <Lana> *weaves a scan of the eldritch weapon*
<DeathStar> *she looks tired*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "They?"
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "What happened here?"
<Seraphna> **Amber frowns and call in Void**
<DeathStar> *Avenir whispers into Nicolette's ear, then curls up in bed to snooze, looking sleep - not due to induced sleep, but due to recovering*
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "...is that okay?"
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "She just needs rest."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "On the other hand, WE have trouble."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "The time guardians have taken notice."
<DeathStar> <Selena> So I'm guessing this was to force them to notice? *Referring to the barrier*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...weapon is alien. With Eldritch energy added. Ahhhh... maybe we could find where this weapon is from."
<Seraphna> Amber> Perhaps, calling Void to help with this fight.
<DeathStar> *Void appears behind Amber*
<DeathStar> *Gwen studies Lana* Can you purify it?
<Alicia> * Ceilidh analyses and cross references the weapon design
<Seraphna> Amber> My Lord, Avenir says the eldritch beings in time are coming.
<DeathStar> *Void feels out* Time has begun to slowly return to normal
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "...I'm not sure if you can really call them eldritch..."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Maybe..." *tries to banish the eldritch energy*
<DeathStar> <Void> I will keep an eye out for these time beings. But if they are TIME beings, unless you want to try to seek them out, they could appear this second, or years from now
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "They seem to be pretty good at arriving on time."
<DeathStar> *Origin makes a glum noise*
<Seraphna> Amber> I guess as long as they aren’t here yet we have time to prepare for them.
<DeathStar> *An Xvash slams onto the ground*
<DeathStar> *being the eldritch covered weapon*

<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "Oh. I figured out... yeah."
<Seraphna> Terra> **takes a picture of the weapon and sends it to her parents and grandmothers**
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "So, how did they take over the Tsivirixsh? Or is it just one specific one?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh... you just need one."
<Alicia> <Ceilidh> "I guess..."
<DeathStar> <Selena> I did read in my reports the Tsivrixsh leadership suffered major losses in the Serpent War
<DeathStar> <Selena> Right now the council is ruling
<Seraphna> Terra> Could be they have a Tsivrixsh Acolyte or just one that was possessed.
<DeathStar> <Selena> So it could mean anything
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Power vaccuum is bad news..."
<DeathStar> *suddenly, the castle shakes*

<DeathStar> *Gwen picks her up and runs her there*

<Ariel> * Nicolette makes sure the spirits do what they can to take care of Avenir, before hurrying downstairs

<Seraphna> Talia> This getting worrisome.
<DeathStar> *despite being partially in the spirit realm, the castle begins rise up, almost like a pyramid* <Celes> This should not be happening; this is not a Croza site or a Proto site, outside the crash site nearby. *She moves off as the castle seems to be continually rising upward*

<DeathStar> <Selena> This is a spirit castle with spirit tech, We should be incapable of flying to my knowledge
