<DeathStar> *the Geyze group that is interested in going to the Counter Geyze has been brought up to Kumen, where they have been greeted by Ymir and Asarar's team, where at the spaceports a brand new generation of ships built off the Aquarius tech can be seen in the sky*
<DeathStar> *the Aquarius itself is not seen among all these fancy new versions*
<DeathStar> <Ymir> Alright. *she looks at Lana; Gwen standing there shuffling his foot*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...I once designed a ship. Didn't have the resources to build it...ahhhh?! I'm here."
<DeathStar> <Ymir> All the equipment you need has been loaded onto the flagship to make that stuff you need on the world. Plus you all will need a ship if you plan to explore it
<DeathStar> *Shion is eyeing a few of the students, like Alouette*
<Seraphna> **Anyata looks Shion back for checking out her girlfriend**

<DeathStar> <Alouette> So is this ship better than the Aquarius? *She speaks up* <Ymir> Well, you could say the Aquarius was these ships prototype.

<DeathStar> <Ymir> Right now the Aquarius and it's Captain are being prepared for something else, so you'll be having this one.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "TYpically a production model fixes all the identified flaws in the prototype. That being said, its possible that some features in the prorotype are not carried forward to the mass production model."
<DeathStar> *Asarar leads them into the ship; the design looks a lot like the Aquarius, but it looks a bit darker inside with dimmer lights, because that's how new ships are according to the Holovids. The crew is hurrying around, not paying much attention to them as Gwen carries Lana's stuff inside*

<DeathStar> *the ship begins to lift up into the air; then they are directed into space, almost so smoothly nothing is felt*

<DeathStar> *the engines begin to rev up and the ship begins to take off*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh, they are on the opposite side of the system from geyze. Quite reachable by sublight drives."

<Sara> <Yurica> I will have to further emphasize my authority...
<DeathStar> *A few moments later the ship arrives and stops them*
<DeathStar> <Ship Spirit> I have recorded the time to submit to the Aquarius and the Mew Mew
<Seraphna> Alt> **yawns** Dad, Alt is tired after our long journey.
<DeathStar> *Gwen is holding onto the back of a chair, looking dizzy*

<DeathStar> *Counter Geyze, for all it's lack of a proper name, is much larger than the real deal, having properties of both Geyze and Kumen in it's design. Looming before them, the new ship seems to be scanning for landing zones and then picks one near the construction site, bringing then down nearby, since the world seems to lack proper spaceports. They end up landing over some dirt*

<DeathStar> <Mylph> Everything has been rather quiet. *She admits* Actually, unlike your mana problem, I would say everything here has been rather good. It's why this plan somewhat has some of us worried

<DeathStar> <Mylph> I would say the past few months the mana has gotten stronger
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I suspect this world is actually losing spirit energy, though you have less dependence on spirit energy than we have a dependence upon mana."
<DeathStar> <Geb> We've never really noticed spirit energy. We can't really detect ourselves
<Alicia> <Yoiyami> "...seriously?!"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "That being said, we have observed that in greater concentrations, pure mana energy can become...ahhh..unstable."
<Sara> <Yurica> Can't detect yourselves, huh
<DeathStar> <Geb> Our sylph is the only one who can detect spirit energy due to what happened that day. And even then it causes her a bit of unstability.
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "...hmm."
<DeathStar> *Mylph muses in thought* Well, I know you all wanted tour of the area. Did you want Geb here to work on the equipment, or did you want to stay here and work, Lana?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I would like to stay on-site to assist."
<DeathStar> *Mylph and Geb peer at each other, then seem to do a type of rock paper scissors game*
<DeathStar> *Geb seems to win whatever they were doing and heads over to the buggy while Mylph grabs the equipment with her wind and joins Lana*

<DeathStar> *they drive along and soon arrive at an area with a leyline. It seems to have a lot of growth with plants, flowers, and trees in the area running through it*
<Seraphna> Alt> Are there mana fish?
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "So... Lana, does somewhere near here seem good? We probably shouldn't build the spaceport on the leyline, but being close should help a lot."
<DeathStar> *Lana is still back where they left her*

<DeathStar> <Geb> So um. Why interested in leylines? As for mana fish, no. Fish have mana in them though
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Still, this is a really nice place." *does a survey to report it* "I kind of don't want to ruin the wildlife by building on this place though..."
<Seraphna> Alt> **suddenly has a fishing rod**
<DeathStar> *Asarar hops out of the buggy for a moment and looks over* I'm not too sure about Geyze; what is it's leylines infused with usually? Spirit or mana energy?
<Sara> * Yurica is quiet, listening mostly
<DeathStar> <Bonnie> A mix. *She says softly*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Both spirits and mana flow through the leylines. They're like rivers for them."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "That's why they're so precious."
<Seraphna> Alt> Rivers have fish.
<Seraphna> **Alt casts a line**
<DeathStar> *Geb watches her fish, looking baffled*
<Seraphna> Alt> Gonna catch a mana fish!
<DeathStar> *she looks at the others* <Geb> Are you going to stop her? *Since that would require breaking the earth open deep enough to get to it*
<Seraphna> **Alt looks determined at the ground in her way**
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Like rivers, not actually rivers... and... I'm not sure that's the way to find a mana fish..." *pauses* "Oh, no, you are not breaking open the earth just to get at it."
<Ariel> * Nicolette makes a note to contact the academy psychiatrist to look into Alt.
<Seraphna> Anyata> Perhaps the Mana fish are hiding in the water?

<Seraphna> **Alt looks at them then tries to cast at some water**

<DeathStar> <Geb> Did you want me to take you to other Leylines after this one or was there other sites you might be interested in, like the great ruins of old or the Mana Temples.

<DeathStar> <Geb> Or even the crystal lands
<Seraphna> Anyata> Anything should be fine. I hid a tracker on Alt before she left.

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I'm just not sure we should be taking students on trips like this, who... have a tentative grasp on the world."
<Seraphna> Anyata> How else do we learn?
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I guess when Gwen returns he'll need to keep a closer eye.

<DeathStar> *Asarar climbs into the buggy* Alright, lead onto the next location. *Bonnie is already in the buggy, eyeing Asarar with a look*
<DeathStar> *Melodie returns with Alt, along with the fish she caught. Aimee seems to have stuck with Sparkling*

<DeathStar> <Melodie> I figured it is what you would want
<DeathStar> *as the group gets back into the buggy, Asarar starts it up and Geb points out the first location to go*
<Seraphna> Alt> Mana Fish! Mana fish! **she sings**
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Okay. *She turns to Yurica* I hope you don't mind but I'm going to test how well this vehicle does
<DeathStar> *Alouette buckles in at that and Bonnie shifts in close to Chelsea so she doesn't get flung out*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "She really found one?"
<DeathStar> *Geb eyes the normal fish, then Sparkling* Try one. See what you think.

<DeathStar> *Asarar boosts forward and begins to zoom them along the trees then cuts over and passes through the debris field of ancient looking broken magic tech; Aimee hangs over the side as they make sharp turns*
<DeathStar> *Then slowly begin to exit the area, seeing nothing but grasslands and trees for a while*
<DeathStar> *soon they begin to approach what looks to be a massive temple like structure, the outside having stones broken and even a few holes in it here and there; the top almost completely shaved off. Faded runic symbols built into the side can be seen, but most of it is worn off or even gone. Standing beside it is Mylph and Lana*
<Alicia> * Yoiyami starts looking over the ruins almost immediately.
<DeathStar> *Asarar stops a few inches from the structure*
<DeathStar> *Geb hops over to Mylph and the two talk to each other*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "So, who made this?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> *waves at the others*
<DeathStar> <Mylph> It was made during the age of the Magik Users and mages, to channel their powers. It's what was dubbed a Mana Temple. It was used even before the many wars ravaged the planet and mana tech became more used.
<Seraphna> **Alt shows Gwen her big Fishy**
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Ah, hey, making progress?"
<DeathStar> *Gwen pats her head* Good girl
<DeathStar> *Bonnie eyes the temple curiously, running her hands along it*
<DeathStar> *Asarar leans over to Chelsea* It looks just old to me
<Seraphna> Alt> We can make Mom’s famous Fish!
<Seraphna> Talia> Yes!
<Jackieness> <Lana> "The main work site is in order, so Mylph is just showing us the sites."
<Sara> <Chelsea> Well, history tends to be old, Asarar

<DeathStar> *she walks up the steps on the outside, then heads into a hole*
<DeathStar> <Mylph> I'll wait outside; I don't like tight spaces

<Alicia> <Yoiyami> "This dark kitsune will be fine."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Only one way to find out. *She slips into the hole, where it's completely dark inside*
<DeathStar> *Bonnie follows after into the dark chamber*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *approaches the hole... then takes a breath and tries to climb inside*
<DeathStar> *Alouette seems to look for a light on her person as she enters behind Lana*
<DeathStar> *Bonnie lights up the room with her hand, eyes glowing* This good? *She seems to be burning mana*
<Sara> <Chelsea> Are you telling me no one thought to bring any sot of torch?
<DeathStar> *They seem to be in a small chamber, like a pyramid almost, with words and formulas written on the walls. A lot of it is in ruin and the formulas are incomplete. The chamber leading into another which leads into another, but they all seem to be specically designed to be small rooms, and upon looking, there was magik running along the rooms that seem to be broken now, but likely did something once*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I figured the explorers here had something. *she says, perhaps teasing*
<DeathStar> <Geb> We can use this go down lower. But yeah, this place amplified whatever magik they were doing in here. They also stored magik formulas in here. But a lot of it has come to rot
<Jackieness> <Lana> *examines and then records the writing on the walls*
<DeathStar> *Lana would probably be here a while doing that, so Geb turns to the others, looking to see if they want to proceed deeper*
<DeathStar> *Origin peeks out of Nico's hat, a rare appearance*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "..there is so much in just this location."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Something about this feels familiar."

<DeathStar> *having waited, Lana manages to copy the current room and the room next to it*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh...now we cna move on."
<DeathStar> *They proceed onward and the third room STILL has more in it on the walls, before the stairs goes downward*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I guess it's probably not the same as the ones I saw."

<Jackieness> <Lana> "I agree...though it is damaged. I wonder if i could reconstruct the formulas based on my own knowledge."
<DeathStar> *As the group heads downstairs, Bonnie looking around; they would find giant gears around this room and as they step in, something seems to run around the ceiling, glowing with mana and a click is heard*
