<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We have previously discussed a threat of... Super Spirits."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "We're a little more isolated than we used to be. I think we need to make sure we're stable at home before looking outwards."

<DeathStar> <Selena> We will have to decide what sort of relationship we'll want to establish with them in the upcoming days. Right now they're busy fixing their own world
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "The other geyze spirits that I've met have all been good people."

<DeathStar> <Selena> We plan to send an ambassador to the Magi Spirits and set up a teleporter on their world. We're going to table talk on the Outer Spirits for now.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Zayne is still missing and we're not sure which Kingdom she might be in, or if she's even on the planet right now.
<DeathStar> <Selena> The Aquarius right now has been set aside due it's damage; Ymir and company have started work on a new line of ships. They wanted to know if we wanted one
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "The ship might not be a bad idea, if we can afford it."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Alternatively, we cna co-operate the ships with Kumen. Provide personnel and the ships provide mutal operations for both worlds."

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Definitely true. But it'd still be good to have one that we're in full control of."

<DeathStar> <Selena> I am curious, why is the ship names after a cat's vocal sound?

<DeathStar> *Selena hurries to greet the new comers, since she handled the paperwork; stepping out of the shuttle is Ren first*
<Ariel> * Nicolette wears her court robes, and top hat, and has been waiting outside for the shuttle for a bit now. She joins Selena to greet the newcomers
<DeathStar> *Ren looks around, ears twitching; then following is a purple haired kitsune with blue eyes. Shion. Selena looks between the two, since they're both adults* <Selena> I was expecting students

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "That is not a part of the standard curriculum."
<DeathStar> <Alouette> What is standard curriculum?
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "...I kinda wish there was a dragon taming elective."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The standard curriculum is built around introductions to the shared history of Kumen and Geyze, as well as exploration of mathematics and the sciences. Electives are where things can become more itneresting as you begin to define your academic path here."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Maybe you should run the idea by Sasha. *She sounds amused*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Oh no, no no no. I couldn't run that. No classes where my students might get eaten during labs."
<DeathStar> <Alouette> .... *She looks at Yoi* This sounds like standard boring Earth classes
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "As you accumulate elective credits, advanced academic paths become open to you."
<Alicia> <Yoiyami> "I have to earn my interesting classes? Seriously?"
<DeathStar> *Alouette tilts to the side* So when does math and science start so I can finish them...

<DeathStar> <Asarar> We're having a debate on what to do with the Aquarius. A great number of people think it should be put in a museum due to it's historic value.
<Seraphna> Luci> Seems a waste of a proven ship.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> But Taiga thinks it can be repaired and sent back out to do missions like it was designed to do; we haven't brought it up with the crew.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> The hull can be easily repaired after all
<Sara> <Chelsea> You strike me as almost married to that ship

<Seraphna> Si> It’s a legacy too, it could be considered a flagship.

<Sara> <Chelsea> Prototypes are always the strongest even when they're outdated, honestly... but that's because they're too expensive to mass-produce the way they are
<Seraphna> Luci> Can ship spirits even be easily transplanted?

<DeathStar> <Ymir> The Prototype was specifically designed for Mireille herself. It is like the Prototype ship IS Mireille.
<DeathStar> <Ymir> The way we're approaching the 2.0's is mass production so they can be interchanged and won't run into that problem
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Make a decision on the fate of the Aquarius. Worry about the future for the ship spirit if it becomes an issue."
<DeathStar> <Ymir> Melodie and Aimee can also accept Aquarius due to being made for it. Nox lately jumping into the pods was never meant for another spirit outside those 3
<Seraphna> Luci> I think we should either continue to use it to develop features or let Erica purchase it as a privateer.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Like I said, they might be interested in taking up the exploration job we have in mind.

<DeathStar> *The doors open up to what looks to have been once a dining large room, perhaps a dininng hall for the people of the fort. Inside, bodies are laying all about*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh?! What happened here?!"
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I think we found the daemons of the fort.

<Seraphna> Anyata> An outsider must have dispatched them and then put up that plot barrier.

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh... maybe my mana weaving skills can be used to disrupt the flow. Manipulting raw mana is my specility."

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh...I think its the bad guys."

<DeathStar> *That gets a raction, the men chanting and a large scale flare spell goes off in front of Yoiyami*

<DeathStar> *while the team works at dismantling the one golem and the men blow up the room with the flare, there's a sound from behind them*
<Alicia> * Yoiyami stays silent, listening intently until her sight returns

<DeathStar> *The small figures move toward the mana crystals that have not been retrieved yet and begin to touch them, while the two golems approach the group. The mages begin to prepares spells, aimiing at the group and begin do spells that are lethal now. Fire balls come raining down*
<Alicia> <Yoiyami> "Oh, that's what they were doing."
<DeathStar> *Gwen pulls Yoi down to protect her since her sight is recovering*
<Alicia> * Yoiyami has been trying to grab mana crystals throughout
<Jackieness> <Lana> *raises her hands and then quickly tries to weave together a barrier field*
<DeathStar> *Alouette flails* Anyata. Fire!
<Seraphna> **Anyata guards her as Terra melts into the floor**
<Alicia> * Yoiyami sinks into the shadows, for protection if nothing else... not taking crystals any more.
<DeathStar> *The two smaller figures compete with Yoiyami, moving around the room. One of the stone golems, targetting Anyata in anger for the death of the one, and the other going for Lana, both march along and try to life both of the two up Bana style*

<DeathStar> *The cloaked figures switch over to ice magic, lowering the temp of the room now*

<Ariel> * Nicolette finishes her glyph, and switches to Earth magic, causing walls of stone to slam up around the crystals

<DeathStar> *the stone golem, someone recalling that is how the other fell, blocks and holds onto Anyata until Alouette comes to her rescue*
<Alicia> * Yoiyami slams a tendril into one of the smaller figures the moment it makes a noise
<Seraphna> **Anyata looks perturbed, but starts attack it’s limbs when freed**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *adjusts her weave and tries to use her barrier to tear apart the golem coming at her*
<Seraphna> **Terra hums as she wraps her prey in a stone prison**
<DeathStar> *the stone golem is taken out. The second backs off warily*
<Seraphna> **Anyata keeps going, showing her fighting style is speed rather than strength as she goes for the core again**
<DeathStar> *the two smaller ones going around retrieving the crystals - the smaller of them curses at Nicos tactic and looks flustered when Yoiyami comes in and attacks. Forcing the other two swing a scythe at her back*

<Jackieness> <Lana> *turns her attention to the mages and then shifts from defense to offense, weaving her mana armor*
<DeathStar> *the mages focus wind magic on Terra, to try to sotp her as they lose more of their numbeR*

<Jackieness> <Lana> *trudges forward in the mecha-like mana armor, trying to knock down the mages*
<Alicia> * Yoiyami tries to block the scythe with another tendril
<DeathStar> *the room seems to almost rock and shake*
<DeathStar> *who knows what happens, but both sides are thrown apart*
<DeathStar> *Sylph attempts wind magic to cushion Ellie but that semi-makes it worse*

<Alicia> * Yoiyami moves to blocking anything that might hit her, but her fuzzy vision means she's probably blocking things that aren't there too
<Seraphna> **Terra turns into a burning bright figure a moment to protect herself, Anyata covers Allouette**
<DeathStar> *The ceiling begins to threaten to cave in as parts of it start to weaken*

<DeathStar> *The figure that Yoiyami was fighting leans over her, hood down and eyes her, then pulls it back up and moves off*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *tries to bulldoze through to grab the mana crystals with her mana armor's hands*
<DeathStar> *Lana would see that the two figures were absorbing their's*
<DeathStar> *but at least the one's Yoiyami grabbed are still with her*
<Seraphna> **Terra eyes the crystals and thinks better of actually touching them, teleporting out of the room**

<DeathStar> *Gwen hurries* <Sylph> I would attempt to teleport all of us, but I think it might be a bad idea with you carrying that much mana crystals

<DeathStar> <Lumi> There is a few communities of mages on Geyze that still use them, mainly to store their power - what they do is they put as much of their mana into the crystal as they can at a time, then recharge, then put more, then recharge.
<DeathStar> <Lumi> Then when a big spell is needed they can use the crystals. Essentially these communities are mages with low power mana levels
<Ariel> * Nicolette nods. Sounds sensible to her
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh... so just capacitors."
<Alicia> <Yoiyami> "So, it's not crystalised mana?"
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Well. More like batteries."

Which is confusing surprisigly since the human population was kept on such a tight leash. But according to them, mana crystals were used there too and their mages excelled at using them

<DeathStar> <Seniga> We tested the applications at the Dark Lands because the area - the desert - had plenty of mana in an area that it would not hurt the eco system. And we went about it in a way as not to hurt the guards. You'll ask why not ask for permission first but I'll get into that in a moment
<DeathStar> <Seniga> The mana was for 1) to test the applications of how it can be used with spirit energy without detonation. The spirits here can use elemental powers, which is nearly like magic. But as the other spirits have shown, magic and spirit energy does not completely mix perfectly. I need to test large amounts of mana with spirit energy in a safe environment because I believe in the future that will need to change

<DeathStar> <Delgi> There's various ways to categorize magik, as well; each mage probably has their own way of doing it. I personally do it by healing magik, which can be low end to high end, depending on what you draw from. Then there's destruction magik, which is meant to draw from the earth usually to hurl things like fire, earth, wind. Similiar to the spirits. There's creation magik, to build things. And there's ... well, lets just say there's unusual magik that is hard to put into words

Sort of gatheing all the years of manifested power. Some girls fall into despair at the last moment due to this and become a Makai.

Faded runic symbols built into the side can be seen, but most of it is worn off or even gone. Standing beside it is Mylph and Lana*

The chamber leading into another which leads into another, but they all seem to be specically designed to be small rooms, and upon looking, there was magik running along the rooms that seem to be broken now, but likely did something once*

<DeathStar> <Geb> We can use this go down lower. But yeah, this place amplified whatever magik they were doing in here. They also stored magik formulas in here. But a lot of it has come to rot

<DeathStar> *a long moment or two passes; thankfully, due to the world, Bonnie doesn't seem to weaken and the device begins to make a noise, and broken screen rises up from it as it powers up. A chair rises from the ground and grabs Chelsea, making her sit on it*

<DeathStar> <Shion> After the visit and the fact she left without doing any damage, we believe Zayne is likely to play the long game.

<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Oh, being a magical girl and what that means. Using that power again and what it would cost, even if it meant becomng something like her. But I know I wouldn't be like her, I'd be something much worse, a typical Makai and be delusing myself even if I could touch the power again. *she eyes her hands* And she talked about you two. Zayne clearly plans to resume her 'heroic' deeds of taking out the worst of the worst, and she plans to test how far you two will go, especially Sparkling in her name of justice

<DeathStar> <Sabrina> If you kill it, due to her age and how long she has been attached to it, you will likely straight up kill her, or by dying, it will shock her and kill her
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> Plus once it has been targetted, it will likely defend itself so violently, it could take her over.
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> It might be even doing it now, and that is why she is different right now and not her typical insane self.

<DeathStar> <Sabrina> I wish I could pinpoint what shifted her, but there is more dark mana flowing from her and I do think that little creature is feeding on it and that in turn is warping her mentality.
