01<DS> <Selena> I'll try to walk you through this a little. Ymir went missing as you might recalling during what happened last time on Kumen and since she runs Macross, well, that has caused a bit of a commotion.
01<DS> <Selena> Ylva, despite being the President, can't just forcefully step in despite how close Ymir and Ylva play it close to the vest and it appears Ylva is going to allow Macross' vice president to take over. Luci. Hopefully she doesn't get eaten alive trying to manage Macross' holdings until Ymir is found

01<DS> <Selena> I was informed that a message came through the teleporters connected to the Aquarius at the Macross' offices. They claim they found something and want an expert to check it out

01<DS> <Selena> What they were sent out there to find I guess. The Super Spirits. The message didn't say more than they wanted an expert. I'm guessing they sent a message due to the fact the teleporters are nearing the limits of sending people back and forth now
<Jackieness> <Lana> "They require more power as the distance between points widens."
01<DS> <Lumi> Guess you can try to boost it more
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Its possible to boost it with more power at both ends."

01<DS> <Selena> I believe I will journey and check on their progress too. Soren is against it, but everyone keeps saying this area of space is where the enemy is coming from

01<DS> *despite being an upper level, the neighborhood, but perhaps it's just an imgination of the light, looks to be a little rougher than usual. With groups scoping out the rich from the shadows as they arrive at the Corpo HQ at the center of town*

01<DS> *at the door, dragoon girl that looks a lot like Luci greets them in Macross outfit* <Girl> Follow me. *She says in a tone of someone trying their hardest to be polite*

01<DS> *Selena and Zayne follow and once on the elevator, she hits a floor where elevator music begins o play*

01<DS> *the teleporter transfer at first seems to take forever, much longer than usual, bu t just when it feels like it might be "wrong", they arrive on the bridge where Yuki is checking them over and Cloe is pawing in celebration*

01<DS> *it's revealed the Aquarius is hovering near 3 planets, two of which are close to each other and the other with some distance. All three worlds look to be desertish, drained of color where there are trees, and the oceans look stagnant and murky as if they don't support life. Even the winds seem to not be blowing well on them* <Ben> All these worlds - the spirit energy is essentially gone,
<Jackieness> <Lana> "That fits with a visitation by the Super Spirits."
01<DS> <Ben> The deeper we have been going, the spirit levels of the worlds have been getting worse and worse until they have begun to look like this - the worlds are all beginning to look like this. However, there is still some life on one of the worlds.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "What sort of life?"
01<DS> <Ben> Humanoid as well as some other unknown life. *he brings it up and it looks like some farming type as well as strange creatures to eat*
01<DS> <Yuki> We're getting closer to the Sol system and we're likely to run into more scenarios like this - the planets in this condition, possibility of life still
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Have you received data about the arrival of the Visage to Geyze and Kumen?"
01<DS> <Yuki> We did.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I imagine their world is out here somewhere in a similar or worse state. we also observed an oddity when it comes to their tehcnology, which use dboth mana and psiirt energy. Some sort of corrosion that my models don't predict at all."
01<DS> <Yuki> Oh it could be out here. At this point we're not too far off from the goal, but the Aquarius is not drawing in any spirit energy to relinsh itself. It's like flying through - we'll it's hard to describe it

<Jackieness> <Lana> "I'd like to get data on the sort of life that evolved after the spirit drain. Not just sentient life, but trees, fungi, anythign living."

<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Muck? So... there might be something out there taking the place of the spirit energy?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Admittedly its hard to say much since we don't have a profile of these worlds pre-drain."
01<DS> <Yuki> Maybe. I just know Mireille seems to be 1) Not replinishing whily flying through space and 2) I don't think it's good for her

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh...it would be like being on a diet. She's going to burn her own self at some point to keep going."
01<DS> *The Aquarius approaches the one planet that seems to be rotating around the other; as they get closer to it, the scans come up and show a good portion is rotted ocean, bringing up what looks to be oceanic life under the water and that there are port villages that try to fish some of it up. But there appear to be even larger water creatures deeper than that and look odd and oddly formed*
01<DS> <Ben> The scans are not perfect but I don't think trying to teleport the creature onto the ship to see what it really looks like is wise either
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Not at all...and we should avoid contact with the natives anyway. There is no telling what might happen."

<Jackieness> <Lana> "It possible that a spirit filled environment like the Aquarius interior could cause...ahhh...allergic reactions."
01<DS> <Mireille comm> The atmosphere is making long range scans hard to tell what things look like. *she scans the port village and the images come up looking staticy and black and whiteish, everything looking distorted at times* It feels like the atmosphere where the spirit energy used to be became something else ,or that is how my "brain" is reading it
<Jackieness> <Lana> *moves over and works on an algorithm to try to clear up the interference*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Yeah... that fits with the current theory."
<@Seraphna> Cookie> I’m getting vibes. Like when we encountered the anti-spirits.

01<DS> *it clears up somewhat; the people there definitely look a little odd as they move around, but it is hard to determine odd how*

01<DS> <Selena> What do you make of all this dead space. And why would these powerful spirits even remain out here until they had a chance encounter with ours

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh...if the Super Spirits were their protectors...its possible that when their hunger isn't their primary drive that they revert back to their guardian role. Encountering our spirits re-ignited their hunger instinct."
01<DS> <Selena> If they do have something like personality A or B, we should see about looking into that and avoiding a battle
01<DS> *Zayne prepares a snack for Nicolette when the Aquarius exit hyperspace and before they are 5 worlds, 3 destroyed and look like something out of Thundarr, the other two whole and immediately get hits on life signs and other oddities*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "We'd be in a worse situaiton if we do have a nattle as Mirielle would stick out to them in this environment."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I'm not sold on that. Their tactics have been very well planned."

<Jackieness> <Lana> "I'm thinking the macro level. These are not locusts, but they do have a motiviation to drain spirit energy. That is not to the detriment of higher thought."
01<DS> <Mireille comm> I have bad news. Both of these worlds, long scans are looking the same as the other world. *she brings up stange black and white images of the villages, complete with what looks like hidden weapons underground - it is hard to say since trying to look is's all whited out.*

01<DS> <Ben> Low tech village, high tech village. I've seen it before
<@Seraphna> Nell> Where... are we? **eyes that data**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "The question is...why? What do they expect to fight? The Super Spirits or something else the Super Spirits were protecting them from?"
01<DS> *Mireille tries to scan other things like the farms in the southern part of the world where they seem to be growing strange types of beasts*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Any signs of space flight?"
01<DS> *Mireille xits her pod and rubs her face* I could not find any sign of space flight. IF they have it is hidden; the other plane seems to look to have no farms and their cities seem to have progressed more, but I did not pick up anything there either. I did pick up what looked to be weapons

01<DS> *it would appear that the Aquarius is continuing to weaken out there where the spirit/mana is non-existant and attempting to interact with the muck; scanning through the muck seems to be putting a strain on Mireille's long distance scana, aka her eyes*
01<DS> *the Aquarius beeps a warning*
01<DS> *and Mireille immediately returns to her pod*

01<DS> <Mireille comm> Planet B is doing long range scans in our area of space

01<DS> <Mireille comm> It is hard to tell where it is coming from or what type of scanning device they are using.
<@Seraphna> Cookie> Could we warp a source of spirit energy over the teleporters here for a recharge maybe? Maybe Terra can send over those packed spirit fruits.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I suggest we should withdraw... we don't know what they might do if we are detected."
01<DS> <Zayne> .... *rises and exits the bridge, clucking her tongue as they retreat*

01<DS> *she studies the map* At this rate we're drawing closer to the Sol system

01<DS> <Yuki> Not that many jumps away. We programmed in to stop along a few of the border worlds to help paint in a picture
<Jackieness> <Lana> "The closer to Sol, the more potential danger..."

<@Seraphna> Cookie> Sol doesn't have spirits in Prime... were there ever any here? I didn't notice them the last two times I was here.

01<DS> *as they come out of hyperspace and the worlds before them look empty of life, Mireille looks quiet*

01<DS> *she brings up the system and identifies planets belonging to the Erusians and the Tsivrixsh, both sharing the space*
<@Seraphna> Cookie> This is a point in space between the Tsivrixh Empire and Erusian Acendency in Prime.
<@Seraphna> Cookie> At least, the worlds would indicate.
01<DS> *the comparative scans showing what matches and what doesn't due to them both being together*
<@Seraphna> Cookie> THey shouldn't be clustered like this.

<@Seraphna> Cookie> It's like someone rounded up dead planets and made a little graveyard.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh...look for any artificial constructs in the vicinity."

<Jackieness> <Lana> "A space station. Megastructures." *looks at Cookie* "...a memorial."
01<DS> <Ben> There is some sort of structure but it looks to be dead
01<DS> *Mireille brings it up on the map*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Its still soemthign that we can investigate."
<@Seraphna> Nox> Might ne less of a memorial and more of a mega sized dumpster bin.
01<DS> *Yuki brings the Aquarius in and they approach the Erusian looking station, it's orbit slowly decaying toward the star in the system. As Mireille locks them in with the ship at the hanger, she supplies power from them to the station*
01<DS> <Selena> I will head to the hanger and be part of the away team. <Yuki> I will monitor from here incase something goes awry
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I...ahh...should go too."
01<DS> *Chloe jerks* I-I'll join you. *she squaks, so they dont notice Zayne gone and hurries ahead to the hanger*

<@Seraphna> Nox> A Nox will join the heroes, while another stays here to hang out with her hot girlfriend.

01<DS> *Chloe glances at them from the door connecting to the station and pulls it*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "3...2...1...breach." *goes through first to make sure its safe*
01<DS> *the station's lighhts flicker dimly on as Bella enters. As they enter, eveything appears okay outside areas of the wall having marks of spirit energy and other signs of spirit energy being used, as if a fight broke out here onc long ago. And bones laying around, both Erusian and Tsivrixsh*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...its clear, but there's signs of combat in the past. Old blast marks."
01<DS> *Selena looks around, studying as Chloe swings her oversized weapon all around, makng her body jerk with it*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *looks arund* "Ahhhh...the scorch marks are from spirit energy blasts."
01<DS> *an elevator shaft at the far end seems to have the elevator already on another floor.*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *goes to check to see if the lift is still functional*
01<DS> *it looks like it needs more power, either from the PAX or somewhere from the ship itself*
01<DS> *Selena looks up the shaft*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Not enough juice to power the lifts here. We'll need to find other ways to mvoe around. Maybe see if the station power system is still working."

<Jackieness> <Bella> "No clue. This station is alien to me."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh...its an Erusian station, though I never have been on one before. I do believe they prefer deentralized power generation, so there is probably a local power plant within this section of the station...somewhere."
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I wonder how old this is..."

01<DS> *she has their objective appear on their devices*

01<DS> <Selena glances down at it while holding her hand to her sword; it appears to be in this secion, the terminal behind the wall into the room, where two doors can be seen to get into said room. one looks locked, the other does. There is also a small vent overhead to get into it.*
01<DS> *Chloe eyes the vent and seems to be debating using it*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *steps forward to examine the terminal*
01<DS> *As Lana examines the terminal in the room, she would find more skeletons packed in the corner staring at her, practically stacked against the door; otherwise the terminal works*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *looks at the skeletons* "...ahhh...the crew were holed up in here...maybe trapped and tyring to get out. Hard to tell."

01<DS> *Lana after some trial and error with puzxzle game where you have to shuffle the power from A to B to C then back to B to A until all the power is even and gets the eleato working*

<@Seraphna> Nox> The first Aquarius run passed by a lot of worlds to get to Sol. And even the long way back took other routes.

01<DS> <Selena> We definitely might have to reach Sol now. This is secondhand talk, naturally, since the Erusians were a proxy of Earth, but they are indicating disbelief at Earth bringing forth a spirit to protect it.
01<DS> <Selena> This is looking like it is taking place long before Mirror Earth fell to ruin due to the reality damage done to it. But now I am beginning to wonder if that is the full story

01<DS> *Selena skims it* This definiitely is jumping a lot, but the Erusians believe Earth created the spirits, or at least somehow came acrossthem from another race and exerimented on them then. And set them up to be protects for Earth and their proxies. Down the road much later something went bad - either due to Earth decaying or the spirits themselves. And it led to a loud of destruction. the Erusians then began to spread the word and tried to slow down Earth traking evreything out with it
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Perhaps the Visage were Earth proxies, the Super Spirits were protecting them on behalf of Earth, then the problem happened and everything fell apart."
01<DS> <Selena> Well, keep in mind, these super spirits are quite old themselves. We ran into them long go in the past. So I find it hard to believe Earth made them. But something could have made it worse *she nods to Lana*

01<DS> *then after smashing it a few more times until she can wiggle it free and fall lose, throws the chunk at Lana's head*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh!" *flops back to try to not get killed*

01<DS> *the wounded spirit crawls along the ground and heads for a hole it made, now that dinner is gone*

01<DS> *almost immediately, taking that much concentrated spirit energy begins to show results as she begins to sit up straighter and when the trap activates she immediately seems to turn her head then begins to do the black misr thing to escape, hitting the barrier.*

01<DS> <Zayne> Also the Guardians are known to keep seeking out more spirit and mana energy hence how far ranging this all is. They do it to keep their power uup to fulfil their guardian needs according to them but it might just be because they're broken

01<DS> *all of a sudden, the unknown spirit slams against the barrier with so much force she pushes it and herself right up toward Lana, trying to reach out and grab her*

01<DS> *before she is unable to and snaps back, clearly burning power to get ready for a chance at Lana and hrer annoying trap*
<Ariel> * Nicolette reflexively strengthens the barrier, and then constricts it, pushing the spirit back towards the trap
