<@DeathStar> *After the chaotic events of the few days before, Kumen City in which Kumen City suffered a massive magic fire storm caused by Charles, the true mastermind wielding the black magic power, to combast a massive amount of captured people throughout the city in the Elites and on Geyze on the nobles. While Kumen suffered the majority of the damage, being contained on one area, Geyze itself did not get away scott free as many nobles down there lost their mansions as well. But as the team meet up in the damage Macross building, they are still faced with many loose ends - Mana is dead on both worlds, Delgi is missing with the mages of Geyze, and the damage to the Macross Building as buried the teleporter to the Aquarius*

The spirits the last few days have been acting strange around each other, almost hostile, as the two lead Nicolette, Lana, Ceilidh, and a few others into the chamber*

<@DeathStar> *while the trouble with the spirits were due to the cores being too small in them causing memory issues and the hosility in them - the cores would eventually begin to grow again over the years, helping stablize things*

<@DeathStar> *as if not being in a spirit has maintained it's original size and look even a decade later*

<@Ariel> * Nicolette weaves a construct of air to act like a brace, and keep Gwen's wound as steady as possible.
<@DeathStar> *After walking what seems like forever and despite the torches being there, many have become unlit with time*

<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "...strange. I would expect the torches deeper down to be better maintained."

<@Ariel> * Nicolette brings her light closer to Selena

<@DeathStar> *eventually a light breeze is felt* <Gwen> Am I imagining that?
<@Seraphna> Jaime> The breeze?
<@DeathStar> <Gwen> Yes, how can wind be underground
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "...we must be near an exit."
<@Seraphna> Jaime> There are lots of winds underground.
<@DeathStar> *As Sasha says that, they step into what appears to be a waterfall flowing from nowhere with wind blowing around deeper. The cavern has opened up and shows strange rocks and material that almost shine - like the rock is glowing and other rocks are dark as night. Some lava is also flowing and other parts of the cavern are iced. The hairs on the arms are sticking up from what feels like electricity in the air*

It is why they are designed to take their energy/life from the spell caster, but they were side stepping it by using Charles' knowledge to take it from others.
<@DeathStar> <Adeline> Whoever made these spells purposely put in the failsafe of the bigger the spell, the more the cost comes from the spellcaster.

And was willing to kill everyone to do it - even Pian who was his bankroll and wanted to use the magic to get richer.

It would mean giving up some of our people who were lost, but we might could go many years before they arrive. *she sighs* I suppose that is a coward's way of thinking
