<@DeathStar> <Lumi> The Alliance has been called forth to deal with several pending matters. *Celine leans back in her seat beside Amber, while Leafy looks shy. Qui has Alt with her, strangely enough, and Shinobu seems silent*

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *is, of course, seated at the place in the table for the leader of the Hapian*
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> The first matter is this. We need to set up a Spirit Sanctuary for the spirits. I am aware we cannot send all of them away or risk damage to the planet. Even with all the magic taking over lately, some are still vital to Geyze. And not all of them want to be couped up in a sanctuary. But the fact is we can't keep them in the spirit realm; there have been reports of probing being done into the realm.
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> We will need, if we don't want a breach to occur and a full scale slaughter to happen, move them further
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "What sort of probing?"
<@Seraphna> Terra> Spirits not get break lately.
<@DeathStar> <Kalam> There has been hints that outsiders have been looking into entering the realm at other entry points besides Hapian Castle. There is indeed many ways to enter the realm. Not only all over Geyze, but through Kumen as well.
<@DeathStar> <Kalam> Sylph has been making it difficult to enter but she can't be everywhere
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We need to find a way to secure the Spirit Realm. A great deal of harm could be inflicted by anyone overunning the Spirit Realm, not just to the spirits."
<@Seraphna> Alita> I will consult with Lord Void for a plan.
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> I'm afraid Lord Void is likely one of the ones missing

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> My first thought was to move them to Counter Geyze, but we haven't heard from the Spirits there lately. I have some of my people seeing if something might have happened to the spirits there.

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> So then with Kalam's help we narrowed down to two possible locations for the Alliance to consider. *she holds up a finger to Sasha as she says that* We spoke with Earth here. Verdant has stated she would be glad to take our spirits in and provide sanctuary. the Mirror Earth has a vibrant Spirit tech system, they know about spirits due to the Outer Spirits, and it is far away. <Kalam> It would be a viable option and Solar and Prismatic would be there

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> The second location is to send them to Mother's planet. She has agreed to take them all in for free. She would come pick them up through the spirit realm connection and then go back to her world.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Is the Spirit Realm safe enough for that pasage? Is there any danger of ambush?"
<@DeathStar> <Kalam> It would be safe, yes. And after she takes them, she would sever the link between the realm and her world - meaning to get them back we would have to travel to her planet. ... by ship

<@DeathStar> <Kalam> A few have outright rejected the idea of sanctuary and are choosing to go about like nothing has changed.

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Those who aren't interested in sanctuary should be given the choice to continue like normal. It leads me to the second reason I brought everyone together for the Alliance meeting
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> And the reason I'm taking the threat to the spirits seriously and willing to send them off for a time
<@DeathStar> *Lumi puts up Lana's reports on the screen* Lana has been looking into the Keepers
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *turns her attention to the screen*
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Using the Keeper's records, we've come to learn that before the Croza arrived 12,000 years ago, there were groups - a group - that covered Geyze and were magically afluent. Their technology level might have rivaled modern Geyze - and they created the Magi Tower. Most likely, there were more than one as well. *she brings up the world map of Geyze* We've been mapping out Geyze using the Keeper data and satelites directed from Kumen. There are large continents that we've never explored or knew about. We've also discovered a sister Tower on Kumen.
<@Seraphna> Amber> It is a bit unsettling, we’re concerned they’ll target the tower.
<@DeathStar> <Celine> I'm more concerned with the tower itself; that should fall under our purview.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And do the PEacekeepers have a plan?"
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> We're trying to gather as much information as we can right now. We have all this information about a lost civilization that suddenly went missing or destroyed itself that was more advanced than we realized that was devoted to magic, and now we have this foe that has appeared that can control monsters. This enemy can suddenly appear close to us and strike us down seemingly. There has been reports of allies suddenly becoming the enemy
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Paranoia is starting to set in among the civilians that they cannot trust each other and that there is spells that can turn you into something evil. Or that there are dopplegangers running about and people are beginning to whisper it's all due to an ancient magic emperor come to take their lands back
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "They are responsible for the attacks on the Hapian family."
<@DeathStar> <Shinobu> Do we know more about this magic emperor? <Lumi> Not a thing. It is why until we know more, I do not want to risk losing imporant people. As we continue forward, we need to consider ways to prepare for against these magic dopplegangers and have plans in motion incase a replacement happens

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Though it is then in our hands to ensure there is a Geyze left for them to return home too."
<@DeathStar> *River leans back, almost cockily* I suppose we should make sure all our armies are prepared then. You know - for this little emperor wannabe? Anyone that uses monsters for their army is not quite a threat in the end

<@DeathStar> *after wrapping up the meeting, Lumi heads toward Lana's lab where they been charting the world the past few weeks and getting surprise after surprise. Qui and Shinobu join her, while Kalam goes to find Verdant to let her know the deal is on*

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> We've got this "magic emperor" wrecking havoic and raising the monsters; we know he's tied to this ancient Geyze people somehow, mainly due to the fact reports state he's using magic that we've discovered they did

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> This new Wild magic is a bit of a handful.
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> From what I gather - the more words you know to write down, the more you can do. For example, if I know the word for fire and storm

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well.... I do have the Keeper data to go through. I'm also cross-referencing on what we know about Counter Geyze on the theory that Counter Geyze evolved along similar lines as did our Geyze."

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Then you'd combine it with the word storm and link them; I'd imagine it would rain fish

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> We now know how large our world is really - there might be clues to all this across the ocean. We could look to the Mew Mew or the Aquarius to travel, or we could focus all our current attention on trying to deal with this magic enemy

But according to Luci, now that he's gotten the six other Corporations up and running, things have begun to get a little .... off kilter in Kumen City. He's been trying to put the screws on her, wanting the land Macross is on (since it's the center of the city), he's been allowing each Corporation to have their own police force and they been bending the rules to breaking and my spies tell me that ... lets just say we're headed for the old days and fast. And it looks like ol' Jack might be seeing as as allies due to our money. ... or threats

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> I suggest everyone get some slee---- *suddenly Azif comes stumbling onto the scene holding her chest, which is gushing strange black liquids*

<@DeathStar> *Soren has already zoomed past Azif and back the way she went* <Kalam> Soren! It is likely a ---
<@DeathStar> *Azif falls to her knees; gushing black liquid that might be blood or eldritch blood or ink*

<@Seraphna> **Terra pops in and frowns, heading after Soren**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Send the Peacekeepers too!"
<@DeathStar> *Sylph and Fae move to back up Soren, as does Neekito, Edna, Cloud, and Celsius. The group has run into a Ren like figure - Nodens - holding a sharp weapon with the black liquid. They see the team and moe past them, likely for Azif; behind them is what looks to be a battle.*
<@DeathStar> *Lumi moves to get the Peacemakers ready and to send them out*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *begins to weave, trying to reverse the damage to Azif*
<@DeathStar> *Azif begins to cough up a poison meant to try to kill eldritch beings as Lana does that, her wound beginning to heal*
<@DeathStar> *Nodens looms behind Lana* <Nodens> Why are you healing that creature of Nyarlathotep?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhhh?!"
<@DeathStar> *Azif shifts to protect Lana*
<@DeathStar> *Nodens looms in closer, holding the weapon as if to stab again when the Peacemakers arrive and pull Lana and Azif away*
<@DeathStar> *Soren and Sylph arrive as well* <Sylph> There was no sign of Avenir. <Azif> Because of him. *she points* Some villager ran up and accused me of corrupting and kidnapping Avenir; he was with her and seemed to study her, then began to stab me whil the villager pulled Avenir away from me
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh! The villager must have been one of the bad guys in disguise!"

<@DeathStar> <Nodens> The villager showed no sign of falsehood and that of a normal human. While you are a book of it.

<@DeathStar> *Nodens seems to look at them* If this woman was kidnapped due to me, so be it

<@DeathStar> *a mist comes in and the Ren look alike takes them to a spot in the nearby woods where the villager body lies*

<@DeathStar> *Nodens leans on his staff that seems to come out of nowhere* <Nodens> I fear the girl may be out of my reach ...due to ... that is odd...

<@DeathStar> *Nodens kneels and studies the villager's hand*
<@DeathStar> *Then begins to rip something out of the hand and reveals what looks to be a tiny chip sized magi-tech device under the skin*
<@DeathStar> <Nodens> Maybe this oddity can help you
<@DeathStar> *he holds it out*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *moves over to collect the chip to examine*
<@DeathStar> *who knows what the chip is or does; or if it's even active*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *weaves using one hand, tryignt o probe the chip with ehr magic*
<@DeathStar> *as Lana begins to probe it, right as it begins to gather data, it bursts into flames; it looks like what data it did get, it looks like it's some sort of magi-tech device that affects the entire body*
<@DeathStar> *Azif turns to Terra*
<@DeathStar> <Azif> Terra.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "If I were to speculate... this device was sued to control that villager's body like a marionette."

<@DeathStar> <Azif> I can still feel my master link with Avenir. It means whatever they are doing with the spirits, she is alive.
<@DeathStar> <Soren> .... that is a relief to know they are not outright killing mother and the others, but why risk capturing them?

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Then some magic is likely being used to hide the location... much like when I probed the chip, it destroyed itself."

<@DeathStar> <Ylva> One of our corporation trucks was attacked and raided; all the goods taken. Jiasco says it looks like a professional hit, especially since it was moving through another Corporation's territory. He wouldn't be shocked if one of their police force's did it. But the video on the street was "out" by the time it got to the police.

<DeathStar> *they arrive in what doesn't appear to be a monster tunnel, but looks to be an old service tunnel*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "...huh. This is strangely well constructed."
<DeathStar> <Selena> .... *she looks up and down the tunnel; Gnome seems to be feeling the ground and deciding something*

<DeathStar> *Gnome trots down the tunnel with confidence; Selena shrugs, glancing at Nicolette* <Selena> You think the monsters made this?
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Not without careful instruction, unless there's a lot more about the monsters that we don't know."
<DeathStar> <Gnome> We are nearing the structure. *she lowers her voice* There will be a lot of monsters and due to their number I usually retreat. *the tunnel opens up to what looks like a large structure; beautiful glass adores the ceiling with what looks to be almost religious like figures - magical figures can be seen on them and beams of light and figures kneeling before them in black armor that looks like the person who attacked Selena. Of course, nothing but dirt is above the glass and in some places it is cracked and stuff has broken through; it appears the only reason this place hasn't completely collapsed is due to some magi-tech generator set up in the corner. The place seems to house a magi-tech train that has derailed and stairs up to nothing now - completely sealed off in dirt and rock at the time, while more stairs go down deeper somewhere. The tunnels also seem to continue onward, while the area is indeed - full of variety of monsters moving what looks like functiioning magi tech - that looks like generators and setting them up*

<DeathStar> <Selena> I never seen anything like them. How did they end up down here?
<DeathStar> *Gnome shrugs*
<DeathStar> <Gnome> Scary monsters keep chasing Gnome away from looking. *she points at what looks to be patrolling centaur like monsters and a poison like serpent one that is slithering about*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Hard to say. I'd guess it was done intentionally, unless there was some sort of elemental disaster, but I couldn't say why."
<DeathStar> <Gnome> Gnome couldn't tell you about that, but judging by the land and soil.
<DeathStar> <Gnome> It is high in mana and it looks like there was a huge upheveal. Like an earthquake so large it tore through this part of the land - or something happened to cause the land to try to open up
<DeathStar> <Gnome> I have seen areas also where it looked like the land was shattered
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Hmm... well, it's something to look into."
<DeathStar> <Selena> Do we want to risk going deeper? Or investigate something else? *she asks, having been watching the patrol of the monsters* <Gnome> I-If you plan to go deeper, just becareful
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Let's take a closer look about here... we're looking for magics, right? There might be some hints if this is some sort of temple."
<DeathStar> *Selena creeps along, headed for the stairs while they are moving magi-tech about. It looks like they are gathering the large generators from deeper in the tunnels and are storing it up here for some reason. A skeleton like monster hangs from the entrance to the stairs going down, like in the Last Unicorn and begins to shift a little as Selena passes under it; then red eyes begin to glow as Gnome passes under it*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "...guys. I think they have spirit detectors of some sort."
<DeathStar> *Selena eeps and pulls Nicolette up against herself to hide in the shadows of the stairwell. The skeleton looks around, moving and the bones making creepy sounds as it peers about* <Skeleton> Helloo? Do I smell....huuuuuumans? Or even better? Spiiiiirits? Come on out. I won't bite you? Much? *it seems to try to sniff, but it lacks a nose being a skeleton, so likely it just sensed them the first time and it begins to wander past them down the stairwell*
<Ariel> * Nicolette stays very still, hoping that the skeleton will think that it was mistaken... it's a small hope.
<DeathStar> *After a long silence, the skeleton does not seem to return. Selena finally risks stepping back from Nicolette and looks, then motions and creeps along. The skeleton seems to be laying in a pile of bones once more - this time near the bottom of the stairs*
<DeathStar> *the next floor seems to open up to what appears to be something akin to a indoor bazarr but much fancier - however, now it is mostly dark and glass is shattered all over the place. A lot of the stores look empty as if they ransacked a long time ago, though some of creepy life like metal like dolls of people standing there, staring at you. As Selena moves forward, one seems to shakily move and greet her, trying to show off clothes - it looks like it runs on magi-tech still somehow. Monsters can be seen roaming about the stores, many clustered around magi-tech objects that still work and in the center of this large place is a fountain that looks to have water still, moving; the area seems to span on west, north, and east and they can tell that some stores seem to have power still if they dare to keep going*
<Ariel> * Nicolette lets out a low whistle, "This place must have been truly impressive in it's day."
<DeathStar> <Selena> How.... what... *she seems to be trying to understand what she is seeing*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "It's not the first lost civilization on Geyze... or well, maybe it is. Just the last one for us to find."
<DeathStar> *due to the fact a lot of the monsters seem to be in the center of the place - the water fountain, Selena moves along through the stores itself; thankfully a lot of the walls between the stores seem to have holes in the walls, allowing her to creep along. Odds and ends lay on the floor and Gnome picks up what look to be a child's toy, a Magi Tech toy that seems to be lacking power right now, but it looks like a cool gundam like robot with a giant laser in it's hand*
<Ariel> * Nicolette takes naturally to climbing through the ruined buildings, as it's not too different from where she grew up. "...it really feels more like Earth than Geyze, here."
<DeathStar> <Selena> ... is that why this feels so .... different?
<DeathStar> *up ahead the two would spot what looks to be a shrine almost in the magi-tech security office. The monsters have used the office with cameras powered by magi-tech and the screens to not to view the area but seem to be using it as lights to shine down on a large book that seems to be falling apart as well as some odd cube device. It is clearly magi-tech, but it's purpose is unknown - it looks to be completely made of magic circuits all around the outside and seems to slot into something. Monsters seem to be outside the office - a massive bull type, a large slime type, and many smaller rat types, all peering at it awe*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Well... this is promising, but we have a bit of a crowd."
<DeathStar> *Selena kneels, playing with her bandages* So. How do we want to do this?
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Safest would be to wait them out, but who know how long that'd take..."
<DeathStar> <Gnome> Gnome could run past and try to get them to follow
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Alright. We'll meet back up at that first building with the glass ceiling." She magically alters her cape to be longer and adds a hood.
<DeathStar> *Selena nods and prepares herself* <Selena> Lets not get lost in here. This place is so large I think one could be stuck in here forever
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "Yeah, let's not make this our new vacation home."
<DeathStar> *Gnome begins to creep forward*
<Ariel> * Nicolette pulls her hood up and slips into the crowd
<DeathStar> *Selena does the same, her bandages hiding her features. The monsters at first do not seem to realize Gnome is there; then they eye the tiny spirit in disbelief. Then they begin to try to grab her; the slime expanding and almost nab her leg. Gnome strains and has to rip the ground up to free herself and rolls out of the way of the larger monsters reaching to hug and capture her. It seems they are going for capture, which helps, as she uses her tiny size to run around and sink into the ground nd pop out in other locations and keeps running through the mall like structure, heading northward and drawing all of them after her. Origin peeks out as eyes from the hood, watching*
<Ariel> * Nicolette moves to swipe both objects under her cloak as the monsters are distracted by Gnome, relying on her skills of slight of hand from many years practicing up close magic. She doesn't immediately flee the scene, however, worried that the monsters might mark her if she leaves too early.
<DeathStar> *Selena studies the nearby stores; it looks like the stores nearby seem to be ancient clothing stores of the time - though the fabrics have mostly long worn out. One store nearby looks to be selling - or did - magi-tech body mods or something akin to it. The store looks mostly empty of stuff, but some stuff remains laying on the floor. A doll in the store shows how the mods were suppose to have worked - being installed into the body and giving one magic abilities in that part of the body. And even further down is emergency stairs, the door bused open to show it going up and down*
<DeathStar> *there's a bit of a commotion and it appears the monsters have managed to do something down the one hallway; Selena clicks her tongue, ot wanting to be staring too much in the direction Gnome went*
<Ariel> * Nicolette gives Selena a small nudge, and wanders back the way they came. She has confidence that Gnome can escape; They're surrounded by earth, after all.
<DeathStar> *Selena creeps along in a crouching position, doing the Oblivion stealth walk*
<DeathStar> *the two arrive up in the previous area which is now a lot more empty*
<DeathStar> *Selena standing up to study the glass ceiling more* <Selena> That definitely looks like the person who attacked us; only there are a ton of them shown here. I--- *Gnome rises up from the floor, covered in what looks to be slime, her spirit armor burning*
<DeathStar> <Gnome> ... it tried to EAT me. *she flails*
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "You got away though. Good job."
<DeathStar> <Gnome> True. Are you ready to go?
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I think so." She looks to Selena for confirmation.
<DeathStar> *Selena nods* <Selena> Once they see we took something important, they will be angry. Better to go now. *Gnome touches both of them and moves them through the soil quickly, bringing them out somewhere safe. Then proceeds to call Sylph for help and the two comically run raound in the background while Selena leans on a tree* <Selena> So did we get something important?

We could try to rent out some land from them but most of the center of the city is Macross HQ so building a casino in the center it couldn't be overly large if we did that. And it would paint a target on us if we built it there. If we built in on our old area, we would have to pay a fee of protection most likely to the Corporation that now owns it so that we didn't have goons coming to take the money
