<@DeathStar> *While Asarar and Kira currently have the regional manager, Roderick, busy for this particular facility, the others currently now have the assignment have not getting caught and seeing what they can discover - which is hopefully if Ymir is truly in this place, but if not maybe they can learn more about about the Gear Armor and other secrets the Corporation is up to*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe stands in the hallway outside Roderick's office, musing to herself as his voice can be heard on the other side of the doors, glancing around at the various offices on this floor*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *looks around to try to work out where to go*
<@DeathStar> *Bonnie maintains her operational eye outside the building*
<@DeathStar> *it appears this floor is mainly made up of offices for the higher ups - judging by the name tags by the office doors and a door nearby that seems to be a place for the workers to go in and get food and coffee. Cloe's nose twitches, toward the smell of donuts*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *starts moving past the offices*
<@DeathStar> *nearby there is an elevator, unguarded for the moment; Cloe pulls Luci along with them*
<@DeathStar> *using her tail*
<@Seraphna> **Luci follows**
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> If we are caught are we going with tactic 49 - stupid and bored kid routine? *She asks, despite them no longer being kids really*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Adapt to the situation."
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Guess we could also go with scary dragon lady wanted to drag us into a dark empty corner and have her way with little Cloe. Saw that in a holovid once

<@DeathStar> *Cloe thinks but nods at Bella, looking over the elevator* Do we want to go down now, or search the offices?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Alot of offices. See if any names jump out at you."
<@DeathStar> *Cloe comedically runs down the hallway - as if she were going to the break room. Maybe she is. Oh yep, she ran into the break room to steal a donut, then returns, munching on the donut* <Cloe> Only one thing stands out
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> There is an office with no name on it beign used
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Then that one we'll hit."
<@DeathStar> *Cloe leads them to it and points - the office door is shut, but inside one can indeed see it is full of stuff. Cloe munches on her reward outside the door*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries to unlock the door so they cna check it*
<@Seraphna> Luci> Yeah that first before I rip the door off.
<@DeathStar> *the door creaks open and Cloe reaches to turn on the light. The office looks completely messy with files and folders all over the place, but there is an odd picture frame laying down amongst everything. It seems almost as if this person uses the room as a storage place. Cloe glances through the stuff, spilling donut crumbs*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Don't be messy while you eat." *goes to check the frame*
<@DeathStar> *the picture looks to be of Ylva back when she was Vice President - short hair and hat. It clearly was taken several years ago*
<@DeathStar> *seeing as her hair is now much longer and she looks more like Ymir now*
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Looks complicated. Talking about mana restoration projects for Kumen City, along with all these lines along the planet. As well as a lot of images of machines that look like the one we found

<Jackieness> <Bella> "This may be Ymir's office, assuming we've been chasing the real Ymir."

<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Until they retrieve or finish what they are here to do
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Let's look for more clues." *starts to check the desk*
<@DeathStar> *Bella would find amongst all the technical books and folders a notebook pad written in a neat handwriting. Luci would recognize it as Ymir's*
<@DeathStar> *it seems to be a journal of sorts*
<@Seraphna> Luci> This is Ymir’s handwriting.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Luci, read the bulletpoints in this one while I look for more."
<@Seraphna> **Luci scans over it reading**
<@DeathStar> *the diary seems to be going over the project - going over the Mana Restortation Project at the Tech Corp as well as Space Corp's goal in retrieving the ancient tech that has been scattered around Kumen. The two Corps have been jointly working together on this, with Ymir going back and forth in aiding them as it has become clear Mana will be needed to operate the ancient tech and will be needed to serve the future of Kumen. She is also working on locating the Ancient Gear Machines that are on Kumen and has been for a few years now indicating that Kumen already has a few in their hands*
<@DeathStar> *and the notes seem to indicate they have got them to work, even without needing the Mages of Geyze*
<@Seraphna> Luci> What happened to you…
<@DeathStar> *more notes seem to indicate a displeasure at allowing the Mages of Geyze to be given access to the Tower, due to the belief they could get it up and running, but for some reason she was overruled. And it seems she is currently being assigned to locate and retrieve another Ancient Armor - Luci would see no mention of home, herself, anything to do with family*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Sounds liek this has been going on for a while... maybe even before she disappeared."

<@Seraphna> Luci> Picture of Ylva but no mention of me, her or our kid. It’s like she forgot the last decade or so.
<@DeathStar> *Bella meanwhile would find lots of readings and more - it appears the Mana Project has been making results, especially in Kumen City. It looks like Ymir is there often, ironically, and then leaves out into the world to do tests and to retrieve Armors that are located.*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Looks like shs's in the city alot... my guess...the mana experiements are happening under the city in the old slums."
<@DeathStar> *Cloe leans out the door - some office people are exiting the elevator and heading toward their offices*
<@Seraphna> Luci> Well we know how to track her.
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Ymir is likely in the research place of building. Should grab what we can and not be seen in here
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Lock the door and cut the lights. Stay quiet."
<@DeathStar> *the office workers get closer now and Cloe stretches toward the light and turns them off.*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *stays quiet*
<@DeathStar> *the office workers pass by - the two talking about where they want to eat tonight. And begin to go into their offices. The man pausing to see the office door open to their team's room and begins to reach into the office and grabs the door, closing it, then can be heard entering his own office*

<Jackieness> <Bella> *checks to make sure its clear*

<Jackieness> <Bella> *signals the other two to follow and heads for the elevator*
<@Seraphna> **Luci sneaks**
<@DeathStar> *Cloe sneaks along, peering around all quietly as they approach the elevator, then as they step in she eyes all the buttons as the Kumen Idol Sings in the background* <Cloe> Know which floor is research?

<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Mash all buttons?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Bad idea."
<@DeathStar> *Cloe thinks - there appears to be around 8 floors and 2 basements floor*
<@DeathStar> *the group is on floor 7*
<@Seraphna> **Luci eyes what she has to try and figure it out**
<Jackieness> <Bella> "We'll hit the lowest level first unless someone has a better idea."
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> She is working on a mana project right
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Cloe will try to see if she feels mana

<@DeathStar> *Cloe tinkers with her mana suit she wears under her clothing and seems to shut it off*
<@DeathStar> *then reaches and touches the elevator floor*
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Bella guessed right. We want the lowest level

<@DeathStar> *Cloe reaches back up to get her suit back on*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *selects the lowest level*
<@DeathStar> *as the elevator goes down, the elevator stops and open but in front of them is a security check point door requiring an ID to allow them further. An ID card needing to be swiped through. So close, yet so far*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...crap...security door."
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Go back up and steal one? Break through anyway?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...could try to hack it."
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Nyao. Bella think she is up to it?
<@Seraphna> Luci> If you can do it.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...don't know...if one of their corpo runners is monitoring, I'll be smoked. Might be betetr to grab a card form upstairs."
<@DeathStar> *Cloe nods and steps back into the elevator*
<@Seraphna> **Luci gets back in**
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Don't want Bella cooked like Cloe's foood
<Jackieness> <Bella> *steps in and pushes floor 7 again*
<@DeathStar> *as they go back up to the floor, it looks like the offices are empty again - it appears those two who arrived have headed like they were talking about. They must have just missed them* <Cloe> Do we steal Roderick's card? Could signal to your mommas to bash his head in!
<@Seraphna> Luci> I’ll scan minds to identify researcher, or that.
<@DeathStar> *Cloe makes cute bashing motions*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Luci's idea first. I'm not going to make a mess for my moms."
<@Seraphna> **Luci starts smarty-hunting**
<@DeathStar> *Cloe nods and creeps along; Luci would pick up a neurotic female mind down the hallway, alone, trying to write up a report. The woman is behind her terminal, looking like she hasn't slept in weeks, a mat set up in her office, as she types and a coffee by her as she types away, her ID card hanging from her neck*
<@Seraphna> **Luci signals the other two, and helps by filling the lady with sleepy thoughts.**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *moves to the indicated door*
<@DeathStar> *the woman rubs her face reaches for her coffee, trying to drink it down*
<@DeathStar> *she finally stands up, and seems to be going to the bathroom to try to splash water on her face*
<@Seraphna> **Luci forms a small shield to trip her up and signals Bella to snatch the ID**
<@DeathStar> *the woman stumbles on her way out*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries ninja-ing the ID away*
<@DeathStar> *The woman straightens herself out and glances at them in the hall, squinting, but doesn't seem to notice her ID being taken as she continues on her way toward the bathroom*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *waits for the woman to go into the bathroom then holds it up* "Now...let's try this again."
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> *makes a Zelda like item reward noise as Bella holds it up*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *heads for the elevator before the woman gets back*
<@Seraphna> **Luci follows**
<@DeathStar> *Cloe slips in and hits the bottom floor once more; as they arrive, they are faced with the card scanner - battle resumes*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries the card they pilfered*
<@DeathStar> *the door bings and opens up*
<@Seraphna> **Luci sneaks through**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *moves through*
<@DeathStar> *inside is a large lab area where one of the Armored Gears can be seen being worked on by scientists. It seems to have been activated enough to allow them to be worked on, indicating mana is coursing through the room. Various equipment and more is hooked up to it as they study the information on it and there is a ton of scanning equipment all over the place. Among the people there is a woman in a lab coat in the back of the room with all the equipment - Ymir. She also seems to be standing with someone who looks to be the vice President of Space Corps. Linda Cope. Cope eyeing everything with a frown as she studies it - various guards standing about her, including a purple haired woman in a NetRunner outfit, wearing a mask*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *whispers* "...this place is hot." *looks for a hiding spot to observe*
<@Seraphna> **Luci takes in a breath** We have Ymir, Cope and their Runner.
<@DeathStar> *Cloe kneels around some large pieces of equipment, since otherwise they'll risk being out in the open*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *moves into the cover that Cloe found*
<@Seraphna> **Luci takes cover too, clearly working to keep her cool**
<@DeathStar> *Ymir looks to be discussing the Gear with Cope, who eyes it and motions at them with a gloved hand to start packing it up onto the ship. Then turns to Ymir and seems to be indicating to her to start getting her things ready to leave*
<@Seraphna> Luci> Plan, because I’m not letting her leave.
<Jackieness> <Bella> *whispers* "...she had things up in the upstairs office, right?"
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Mmhmm
<@Seraphna> Luci> So we bag her in the elevator?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "It would be easier than nabbing her here with their security detail."
<@Seraphna> Luci> Okay.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Let's move into position."
<@DeathStar> *Cloe moves to creep back*
<@Seraphna> **Luci nods and sneaks to get ready to rush into the elevator when Ymir does**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *moves with the team*
<@DeathStar> *As they wait in the elevator, they soon begin to hear footsteps approaching the elevator*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *nods to the others*
<@Seraphna> **Luci readies herself, listening to the footsteps**
<@DeathStar> *the elevator opens and standing there is the purple haired NetRunner with the mask, and behind her is Ymir. Ymir looks surprised, while the NetRunner shifts into a combat position, pulling out a ninja like sword from nowhere* <Muffled Familiar Voice> Step back. *she stabs at Luci first, realizing she is the threat*
<@Seraphna> **Luci tosses a shield in front of the stab and moves under it, tackling at her legs**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *ducks low and darts, trying to get an uppercut strike on the Runner*
<@DeathStar> *the NetRunner falls back from the hits and seems to vanish; they reappear a second later and drive the blade at their backs*
<@DeathStar> *Ymir, meanwhile, has already begun to run*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Luci, get Ymir." *turns and tries to flash step to get inside the Runner's defense and strike*
<@DeathStar> *The Runner brings an armored fist up to deflect Bella back; then shifts and sweeps at her. Her combat style seeming to be a lot like Bella's - that or she's already adapted and learned it*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe leaps at the Runner and burns mana to unleash a magic attack right at them, but the Runner slams the blunt end of her blade into Cloe's gut, dropping her*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *does a jump and flip to try to evade the sweep, shifting ehr weight forward to try to land a knee on the Runner's head*
<@Seraphna> **Luci rolls and moves to Ymir, trying to put a hand on her head**
<@DeathStar> *The Runner seems to almost gracefully move her weight and body while at the same time vanishing; Cloe rising up and holding her stomach as the Runner reappears, facing them both. Cloe begins to gather more mana to launch an attack once Bella goes*
<@DeathStar> *Ymir makes a gasp, trying to call out for help - she seems panicked like she has no idea who Luci is. Infact, the closer Luci gets to Ymir, the more her own mind feels foggy*
<@Seraphna> **Luci touches Ymir’s head and tries pulls a rag from subspace, holding it to Ymir’s mouth and nose**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *shifts her stance and then flashsteps, trying to get behind the Runner*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe charges straight at the Runner and manifests a crystal fist to slam into their mask. The Runner slides back with the hit to keep their focus on Bella, even as she throws a judo chop at Cloe's neck*
<@DeathStar> *The mask now having cracks in it*
<@DeathStar> *Ymir struggles and wiggles, clinging onto Luci as she begins to drop and fall*
<@DeathStar> *Luci still having the wobbily feeling from being near her*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries to take advantage of the Runner's split attention to grapple her form behind*
<@Seraphna> **Luci tries to power through it, settling her down and attempting to shackle the runner with a shield around a leg**
<@DeathStar> *The Runner eyes the shackle and Bella grappling her* ...... *her sword transforms into a gun and she seems to be growing taller*
<@DeathStar> *Bella also would begin to feel herself being pulled into the Net*
<@Seraphna> Luci> **grumbles and violently shrinks the shield around the Runner’s leg**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries to change her grapple into a lock around the Runner's Net while trying to keep from being pulled into the Net*
<@DeathStar> <Runner> .... *she suddenly aims her gun at her own leg and begins to power it up*
<@Seraphna> **Luci forms a shard in her hand and throws it at the gun**
<@DeathStar> *The gun fires and Bella would find herself thrown off due to the force of it*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries to land on her feet*
<@Seraphna> **Luci pulls Ymir into the elevator**
<@DeathStar> *Cloe meanwhile has gotten to her feet and seems to be tense as the Runner steps forward*
<@DeathStar> *though it appears the Runner did not care about the damage done to their own leg*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe slides in afterward*
<@Seraphna> Luci> Cypher?
<Jackieness> <Bella> *starts moving forward toward the Runner again*
<@DeathStar> *The Runner pauses very briefly, then seems to manifest something out of the Net and throws it at Bella. Suddenly large clamps wrap around Bella, like something security would use to imprison someone.*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Gah!" *tries to free herself*
<@DeathStar> <Runner> ... *with the Mask cracked, the voice definitely sounds almost Asarar like* You are ... under arrest..... *she begins to drag herself toward the elevator now*
<@Seraphna> **Luci pulls Bella into the elevator** Button. Cloe.
<@DeathStar> *Cloe taps on it rapidly*
<@Seraphna> **Luci blocks Cypher’s advance with a shield wall**
<@DeathStar> *The Runner fire at Luci when she tries to retrieve Bella*
<@DeathStar> *breaking up her shield wall along the way*
<@Seraphna> **Luci takes it using one of her personal shields**
<@DeathStar> *then leaps at the elevator with her good leg to try to get her good hand in there before it closes, using the time it takes to get Bella inside the elevator to get her hand in*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe tries to bite the hand and winces*
<@Seraphna> **Luci stabs at her with a shard to get her back**
<@DeathStar> *her hand seems to spark a bit as well as bleed, letting go finally; both her hand and her leg looking to be made of machinary now*
<@DeathStar> *the elevator arrives at the lobby and Cloe grabs Bella and breaks her free*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Withdrawal now."
<@Seraphna> **Luci tosses Ymir over her shoulder, her pirate mask back on as she moves out**
<@DeathStar> *Luci and Bella would feel a bit off as they travel with Ymir, Bella almost forgetting Ymir is there if not for the fact Ymir was over Luci's shoulder. As they go through the lobby and get stares, the Runner reappears in the middle of it out of thin air*
<@DeathStar> <Runner> ....
<@Seraphna> **Luci hurls a shard at her and starts bull rushing with a shield around her and Ymir**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *goes for a flash-step to try to outflank the Runner and knock her out of the way*
<@DeathStar> *Runner shifts back; Cloe leaping onto her head and hurrying past. As they get outside, Bonnie begins to fire a gun at the Runner, hitting her with everything she has*
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> We need to get to our ship
<@DeathStar> *The Runner starts to slow down finally as Bonnie keeps her pinned*
<@Seraphna> **Luci nods and signals those at the ship to be ready as she keeps moving with the inevitable pace of Juggernaught**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *brings up the rear after Luci (who has Ymir) and Cloe*
<@Seraphna> Luci> <Sure hope your folks are using this distraction.>
<@DeathStar> *The Mew Mew awaits outside the city since the Ancient Ship is off world right now with Melodie and Aimee, being studied by Seniga*
<@DeathStar> *As they reach the Mew Mew, Cloe falls onto the ship's floor and spreads out, catching her breath*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Get us ready to go. This is a hot zone."
<@Seraphna> **Luci steps on and then ties Ymir up sitting her a bit away before moving away from her and shifting shields around the shuttle**
<@DeathStar> *as Bella says this, Linda Cope's private ship can be seen rising up in the sky*
<@DeathStar> -Brief Rewind-
<@DeathStar> *Roderick is on the communications, glancing at Asarar and Kira*
<@DeathStar> <Roderick> *he hangs up* I apologize. It appears I must call this meeting short
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> That is too bad
<Jackieness> <Kira> "Of course." *rises*
<@DeathStar> <Roderick> Allow me to escort you out personally. *as he is doing so, he begins to speak* We had some intruders it appears in our lab. As you know, we would never blame parents for the actions of their children. Or rogue family members who act out of line
<@DeathStar> *he begins to lead them to the elevators, calling them up*
<Jackieness> <Kira> "...of course. I'm certain that the parents involved will deal with their wayward children."
<@DeathStar> <Roderick> Oh I'm certain. And it certainly would not hurt for certain business deals to go through as well to make up for certain losses.
<@DeathStar> *As they arrive at the lobby, standing there is the masked Runner, looking damaged from the shots, but also clamped at her feet is Bonnie*
<Jackieness> <Kira> "We will have the site surveryed further."
<@DeathStar> *Asarar glances down at Bonnie, emotionless but her eyes state she is debating her move*
<@DeathStar> <Roderick> That makes me happy to hear. *to the Runner* Come with me, Agent. *The Runner lifts Bonnie up, who grunts*
<Jackieness> <Kira> "We should go."
<@DeathStar> *Asarar nods and steps out with Kira; neither of them are bothered or followed the entire way to the Mew Mew*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe seems to be sitting in her chair, quiet and not really responding to things as Asarar steps into the ship; Ymir is still KOed*
<Jackieness> <Kira> *moves to board the Mew Mew* "...that was Cypher, or what's left of her."
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> .... *Glances at Kira* What makes you so sure. *her voice is flat* <Cloe> Scent. She beat Momma. Or momma let her
<@Seraphna> Luci> Whatever they did to Ymir I feel all weird around her.
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Ymir is here?
<@DeathStar> *she looks around, then seems to just notice her*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "We extratced her. Bonnie was grabbed whuile coveirng our escape."
<@Seraphna> Luci> Yesh right there. Seems whatever it is makes people not perceive her properly too.
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> It feels as if Cloe keeps forgetting she is there
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> But admits she has other things on her mind
<@Seraphna> Luci> This feels like magic or reality shenanigans.
<@DeathStar> *Asarar sits on her chair* I thought there wasn't enough mana left on Kumen to do magic.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "That's what the research has been all about: restoring Kumen's mana to use the magitech."
<@DeathStar> **Celine thinks*
<@DeathStar> <Celine> It may be there is more mana on Kumen restored than we realized
<@DeathStar> <Celine> The question is where?
<@DeathStar> <Celine> But why let us Magi have access to the Tower then?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "No clue. Alot of stuff is still up in the air."
<@Seraphna> Luci> Ymir… the version she is now fought against that apparently. Felt it was key.
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Luci. Wake her up. Lets see where we stand
<@Seraphna> **Luci uses smelling salts**

<@DeathStar> *Ymir jerks and stirs, then eyes them all and presses against the wall* What do you want? I-I don't have anything on me to give you.
<@DeathStar> *she seems to be acting more afraid than she really is, her eyes scanning the room as if trying to find a way to escape*
<@Seraphna> Luci> Quit acting.
<@DeathStar> *Ymir eyes Luci, then narrows her eyes* .... fine. I don't know what you kidnappers want, but I won't give into any of your demands. So you might as well kill me
<@Seraphna> Luci> Why would I kill my wife?
<@DeathStar> *Ymir opens her mouth, as if completely thrown off guard, then recloses it and studies Luci's face* .....

<@Seraphna> Luci> Feel the bond. You should feel something however faint, like a window shut in your head.
<@DeathStar> <Celine> Someone used a type of magic I've never seen and I still can't grasp it fully - the more I'm trying to anaylze it, the more it feels as I'm trying to grab onto a slippery rope that I'm loosing my grip on
