<@DeathStar> *Due to the current situation going on - there are 4 Monster Lords, each attacking the various Kingdoms and stressing each of the lands various armies. The Hapian forces are currently being attacked by one such Monster Lord, a Dracolich, while the Amazons and Legion are under threat by their own Demon Lord, and the Dark Lands by another. The Fourth one is currently attacking the Magi and Summoni the west as well, holding their forces at bay as well as the Ents. Leaving just the Naturalist not being attacked as usual. Due to the fact each region is under attack, it has also made it hard for an alliance meeting to occur*
<@DeathStar> *Lumi's forces are currently with the forces to the north - the Amazons/Legion, since that is where she is located*
<@DeathStar> *Rain seems to be observing a map of where the current battles are occuring on the Hapian lands*
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Do you see a pattern to their attacks?"
<@DeathStar> <Rain> Right now this Dragonlich seems to be massing his forces and is pushing southward, toward the castle. It could be that he hopes to overwhelm us and meet with his ally to the south in the Dark Lands.
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "What is the disposition of enemy forces?"
<@DeathStar> <Kito> Interestingly, a lot of them are undead. Normally, this wouldn't be a problem - if we still had our spirit patron here.
<@DeathStar> <Kito> But with Aska taken and Soren at the Sanctuary overseeing things, we are down both of them
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "That tells me that this opponent is not at all random."
<@DeathStar> <Rain> We might not be able to meet with the other leaders, but we can do a magical transmission with them.
<@DeathStar> <Rain> Perhaps check in and see what the current situation is right now.
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Make the arrangements. We need to regain our footing."
<@DeathStar> *Kito nods and moves to use the ancient teleporter system the castle is connected to - using it transmit their magic out to their allies. Soon, Lumi/Alita, and even Qui, somehow (Despite supposedly being with Lana) appear force ghost style, then Shinobu, then Kalam appear in the room*
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> *leans over to Rain and whispers* "I was led to believe that Qui was not in her capital."
<@DeathStar> <Rain> I'll explan it to you later. She's still in the capital. *she says softly*
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Well. This is good timing I suppose. *she speaks up, waving her hand a bit* Interesting magic
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> *nods, satisfied, and turns to the others* "Greetings, brothers and sisters in this trying time. "
<@DeathStar> <Shinobu> I agree. It would appear their goal is to overtax our armies
<@Seraphna> Alita> Of course the one kingdom getting pounded won’t help the others. I imagine they fear attracting attention.

<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "The monster lord leading the army in Hapian would have been easily destroyed by our spirits, were they here. This is likely not a coincidence."
<@Seraphna> Alita> It means they know which spirits remained.
<@DeathStar> <Shinobu> Interesting. I am currently dealing with an Elder Vampire myself. It puts me on even grounds at best.
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "We need to regain our footing if we wish to have any hope of taking the initiative."
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> We're dealing with something that control water. And with the water spirits missing or in sanctuary, that puts us at a disadvantage too
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Have any of you determined what their respective objectives might be beyond spreading terror?"
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> It's a good question.
<@Seraphna> Alita> It feels like they are keeping us busy and out of the way. To be honest.
<@DeathStar> *She looks at Alita* I agree. They look like they're pushing for the capitals, but they're not making a massive effort either
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Just enough we're having to stop them
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "A push, but no attempt to hold territory once they capture it."
<@DeathStar> <Kalam> The Beholder here is pushing pretty hard. If it wasn't for the mana being strong here, the Magi would be losing ground
<@Seraphna> Alita> With what we’ve been hearing from the expedition and Kumen, the entire thing feels like another wide spread conspiracy.
<@DeathStar> <Kalam> If this is just wasting time, they're not holding back
<@DeathStar> *Kito folds her hands back in thought* I believe it's a little of A and B. They'll take the cities if they can. But it might not be their true objectives
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Do you have a hypothesis?"
<@DeathStar> <Kito> I don't. But I believe if we let our guard down, they'll capture whatever city they can
<@DeathStar> <Kito> It would be foolish to waste lives
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Hm. There might be one thing that could help, but it's a bit out of our reach - it's only really close to you, Sasha.
<@Seraphna> Alita> They couldn’t keep our forces occupied if they weren’t really trying. But pawns rarely move forward intending to survive.
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "I'm listening."
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> I have men at the Academy. As you probably heard, it's been being left alone during all this, so it's a good location for me in intel gathering. Apparently Asarar's magic ship the Draíocht is located there at this moment. It might be useful if you could redirect it to your castle or onto the battlefield.
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Tell me more about it."
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Reports have stated it's an ancient war ship created before the Croza - likely by the ancient civilization that lived on Kumen. I don't have all the details, but it was a weapon made by magic users for some sort of reason. It's been taken over by Melodie and Aimee at this moment and seem to be able to control it
<@DeathStar> <Rain> If the monster army learns of it's location they might try to take it
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Has anyone heard reports of any aerial assets on the enemy side?"
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> I have no idea, to be honest. But if I have the information I wouldn't be shocked if they have it
<@DeathStar> *Rain studies the map of the enemy lines*
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "The timing of the political change on Kumen is surely not a coincidence... it robbed us of the option to call the Kumen fleet for support."
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> You think the enemy has made a pact with the Kumen leadership?
<@DeathStar> *Qui turns her head, having been awfully quiet this entire time, then rises to her feet* <Qui> Alita.
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "For the sake of tatc, I shall not say so otright. However, the war would alreayd be over with Kumen support."

<@DeathStar> <Qui> I believe you are about to have some relief on your forces. *she steps outside her tent, where the waters and wind has picked up; the monster lord attacking both the Amazons and the Legion seems to have been approaching the Amazon capital. It looks like a massive multi-headed sea serpent. Tiamat. A large amount of the army seems to have been re-directed with them* <Qui> I would use the time wisely. *Qui's magic transmission cuts out*

<@Jackieness> <Sasha> *loosk at Rain* "At the very least it needs to be moved before the enemy realizes what we have."
<@Seraphna> Alita> I’ll see if we can’t use Tiamat’s choice if focus to our advantage.

<@DeathStar> *Kalam's transmission begins to cut in and out* <Kalam> I must go. *it cuts out then in* Turning to stone here. Magi can't stop it. Have to re--- *cuts out*

<@DeathStar> *Lumi studies the map with Alita* We still have a decent sized force down at the base of the mountain
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> But if there's no Monster Lord, we should be able to handle it
<@Seraphna> Alita> We could strike the Monster Lord in the back possibly.
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> It's a good distance to travel to reach the Amazon capital
<@Seraphna> Alita> Annoyingly yes. Well at least use this time to get a foothold.
<@DeathStar> *Lumi moves and has her wife prepare a carriage*
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> We can take a small force on what flying carriages we have - it won't be a lot
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> I can have the rest of us take on the monsters here
<@Seraphna> Alita> That will have to do.
<@DeathStar> *Lumi has a few carriages prepared for Alita along with the best of their soldiers* I admit, I'm surprised you're not flying south
<@Seraphna> Alita> Why’s that?
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Well, Shinobu is dealing with her own monster lord after all
<@Seraphna> Alita> True, though Tiamat is moving now and if Shinobu is in danger we have a means to get me to her swiftly.

<@DeathStar> <Melodie> I keep hoping for a naked Sparkling to show up at the ramp holding a cake

<@DeathStar> *Rain and Kito move in and Rain looks around* This is the magical ship?
<@Seraphna> Nell> Basically.
<@DeathStar> *Kito leans forward against Seniga* We need your help. Can you bring this ship to the Hapian Castle for it's defense? One of the monster lords are getting desperatly close to it
<@DeathStar> <Kito> It's only a matter of time before our defense lines are pushed through. Even if it's just a possible feint, I do not want to risk the city
<@Seraphna> Nell> We have been looking for something to test fire on.
<@DeathStar> *Shion peers out the window* We may have problems. *students can be heard screaming as monsters have begun to invade the academy. Shion hurries off the ship to meet them*
<@DeathStar> *the monsters, for the most part, seem to be ignoring the students and are heading right for the ship*
<@Seraphna> Nell> Hmmm. Curious. Time to lead them away. The Alliance has a mole.
<@DeathStar> *the appear to be some sort of undead types - skeletons, zombies, etc. They mostly keep lumbering toward the ship, driven forward*
<@DeathStar> <Melodie> If they think those things are going to take us, they don't know anything. *she powers up the ship*
<@DeathStar> *Seniga flies them them away and heads for the castle*

<@DeathStar> *one of Sasha's general knights has a map of Hapian, showing the battle lines growing closer to the city* <General> We have a problem, my Queen
<@DeathStar> <General> One where I believe we will lose this fight
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Elaborate."
<@DeathStar> <General> While we may cut down many of the enemy, every one of ours that dies - they simply join the enemy in death
<@DeathStar> <General> Which means when we lose one, they gain one
<@DeathStar> <General> I do not know how this monster lord does it
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Start wuithdrawing to a fortified position. Explore using fire against the enemy. Ash cannot re-animate."
<@DeathStar> *the General salutes and exits the room*
<@DeathStar> *outside in the city a commotion can be head as it seems the Hapian capital is being used for it's naturel fortification and barriers, the soldiers setting up positions since the enemy is already near and withdrawing to the walls to prepare fire arrows and more*
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Find shelters for the population. Get as many supplies inside the walls and prepare for a siege."
<@DeathStar> *her men move to do so, even as in the distance a flying ship can be seen approaching her balcony*
<@DeathStar> *the Draíocht comes up beside the balcony and stops*
<@DeathStar> *the ramp extends and knocks over a flower pot*
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves over to the balcony*
<@DeathStar> *Kito and Rain carefully step down it onto the balcony* <Kito> We have the ship. Should we leave it here for defense?
<@Seraphna> Nell> So yeah, the monsters attacking right after the council brings us in totally stinks. That’s all I’m saying.
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "We are preparing for a siege. I am, however, concerned about the Magi and Spiritualists."
<@DeathStar> *Melodie turns her head to look at them from inside*
<@DeathStar> <Melodie> You want us to go save the day?
<@DeathStar> <Aimee> We can go save the day
<@Seraphna> Nell> But only one place at a time
<@DeathStar> <Kito> We can go, but will you be okay on your own?
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "If you can. The spellcasters are being hit attacked more aggressively than anyone right now. That is likely on purpose."
<@DeathStar> <Kito> We will be back as soon as we can. Try to hold on
<@DeathStar> <Melodie> We will be back to deliver you a pizza
<@DeathStar> <Aimee> Yeah, heh heh
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "I am ordering us to fortify and prepare for a siege. Bring magi if you are able to sav ethem. Their magic could be our salvation."
<@DeathStar> *Kito and Rain hop back onto the ship* <Kito> If we can locate any magi we will do so
<@Seraphna> **Nell leans back in** Alright, time to save the ones in robes.
<@DeathStar> *Seniga takes the ship and heads for the Magi*
<@DeathStar> *not long after the ship is out of sight, the siege has begun - outside the city, the monsters have gathered around Hapian, zombies, skeletons, many undead soldiers, Lich, strange undead creatures, all around the city. And leading them is a Dracolich*
<@DeathStar> *the powerful dragon lich roars, it's roar making the people on the wall fall to their knees*
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Bring my royal armor."
<@DeathStar> *allowing it's un dead soldiers to attack.*
<@DeathStar> *Sasha's attendants hurry to armor Sasha up and get her weapons ready*
<@DeathStar> *undead dragons begin to appear in the sky, the zombie dragons swooping in to grab people and pick them up, throwing them from the wall and to their deaths*
<@DeathStar> *while other undead dragons bite into the soldiers on the walls*
<@DeathStar> *still, some do begin to get off fire arrows*
<@DeathStar> <General> My Queen. *he advises her* You should retreat to the spirit realm or somewhere else.
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "I'll not cower in my palace or the spirit realm while my people are threatened." *checks her sword* "The Crown chooses to draw the line here."
<@DeathStar> *some of the attendants quietly move Celes' frozen body somewhere safe so if the castle is destroyed, it won't be damaged - likely moving it into the spirit realm*
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Make arrangements to evacuate the populace into the Spirit Realm if it comes to that. I'm going to see to the defense of my capital." *heads for the door*
<@DeathStar> *the royal sword of the Hapian family doesn't seem to glow as brightly as it used to. Perhaps this is due to the fact Aska is gone. Or maybe it would glow more brightly once Sasha taps into her spirit heritage*
<@DeathStar> *as Sasha moves to the front gates, she would find them already buckling*
<@DeathStar> *Ready to break at any moment*
<@DeathStar> *when suddenly, there's a commotion on the other side and the sounds of the undead dragons making a noise of pain - something is happening*
<@DeathStar> *it almost sounds like someone is doing wrestling moves on them*
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> *draws the sword* "Soldiers, we hold the line here. This far, no further!" *points the sword at the gate, tryign to draw on her spirit pact*
<@DeathStar> *As Sasha glows a bit with her spirit energy, the sword glowing with it, the soldiers eye each other at the commotion on the other side continues. A dragon is tossed over the wall as it's sumo smashed up in the air*
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "...Brandr."
<@DeathStar> **a moment or two later, the gates crash from 3 zombie dragons - and before them is bulky Knight. He has his arm around one of the dragon's heads and leaps up with them and comes down with thm and practically meteor smashes all three into the ground, then the Knight rises back up , picking their sword back up*
<@DeathStar> *the enemy warily backs way from the Knight, then dragonlich charges and bites the Knight, lifting them up in it's mouth and chomping into their armor*
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> "Begin the advance!" *charges forward and then tries to snap her fire trap aroudn the dracolich's check at the base of its skull*
<@DeathStar> *the Monster Lord roars in rage and shakes it's head, shaking the Knight like a rag roll before tossing it to the side. It turns to look at the charging army then unleashes a strange toxic flame out at everyone, the putrid acid spewing forth along the ground*
<@DeathStar> <Monster Lord> You think to face me, False Queen? I will show you your folly
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> *tries detonating the firetrap*
<@DeathStar> *it's head snaps, and now its angry, it's eyes glowing fire, even as the putrid ground around them grows worse and the air becomes poison*
<@DeathStar> -SHIFT-
<@DeathStar> Location: Alita
<@DeathStar> *Alita's forces approach the capital, where smoke is rising up*
<@Seraphna> Alita> I hope we aren’t too late. **opens her eyes holding a brightly glowing mana crystal**
<@DeathStar> *from the distance, it looks as if a massive lake has formed where the once beautiful Amazon capital was located*
<@DeathStar> *as they get closer, all the structures appear to be under water; the ones that aren't smoldering*
<@Seraphna> Alita> Alright, let’s locate Tiamat and destroy her. If we see survivors secure if possible.
<@DeathStar> *the forces fly around and try to locate Tiamat along the water*
<@Seraphna> **Alita frowns and begins chanting into the crystal preparing something**
<@DeathStar> *something emerges and consumes some of Alita's forces, and a wave forms, knocking over more from their carriages*
<@DeathStar> *something is clearly in the water*
<@Seraphna> **Alita narrows her eyes and drops the crystal into the water, it jets after the thing like a mana torpedo, it’s not far off from what it is**
<@DeathStar> *the Monster Lord rises not long afterward and moves to eye Alita and her many forces* <Monster Lord Tiamat> You would anger me?
<@Seraphna> Alita> You have angered me.
<@DeathStar> <Tiamat> You have not begun to see what I can do. *it shifts, revealing Qui on her person*
<@Seraphna> **Alita closes hand and a mote of ice falls to the water and begins to cold snap freeze it**
<@Seraphna> Alita> I’m just getting started, lizard.
<@DeathStar> *Tiamat shifts it's body, breaking the ice up around itself and the ice, then begins to sink into the depths of the ocean with Qui*
<@Seraphna> **Alita directs ice shards at it as it starts to sink trying to slow it down for Qui**
<@DeathStar> *Qui seems to be unconscious, so even slowing it down won't do too much*
<@Seraphna> **Alita tosses her cloak around herself and shadow shifts to try and snatch Qui**
<@DeathStar> *Alita would dive into the water after the two to try to retrieve Qui who is coiled around Tiamat, finding the water icy cold now. As she attempts to pry Qui from Tiamat, the actions of pulling her from her would draw a lightning blast from one of the heads to fry the water around them*
<@Seraphna> **Alita forms a barrier about them with her spirit and uses the shadows such flashing creates to try and get them both out**
<@DeathStar> *Alita would manage to get back to the surface and for whatever reason Tiamat doesn't seem to chase*
<@DeathStar> *one of alita's people get them onto a carriage*
<@Seraphna> **Alita pulls out a book and frowns**
<@DeathStar> *Qui coughs up some water and rolls on side*
<@DeathStar> <Soldier> What is the plan?
<@Seraphna> Alita> Too many heads. The heart had to be our target.
<@DeathStar> <Soldier 2> How do we fight an under water battle?
<@Seraphna> Alita> We get it out of the water.
<@DeathStar> *the soldiers look at each other, a look of dread*
<@Seraphna> Alita> We have to either lure it or make the water a disadvantage.
<@DeathStar> <Soldier 1> Do you have a plan, ma'am?
<@Seraphna> **Alita reveals three more of those large crystals.** We piss her off.
<@DeathStar> -SHIFT-
<@DeathStar> Location: The Draíocht
<@DeathStar> *Seniga looks down below at the Summoni and Magi battle field, seeing nothing but statues lining the ground of people holding out their hands*
<@DeathStar> *it seems to be leading all the way toward the Summoni's monetary*
<@Seraphna> Nell> Holy crap.
<@Seraphna> Nell> Is the Monster Lord a Gorgon?
<@DeathStar> *Kito hops out of the ship and studies Kalam standing there, a statue*
<@DeathStar> <Kito> I thought I heard the world Beholder.
<@DeathStar> *word
<@DeathStar> <Kito> But I would not be surprised if it was something similiar
<@DeathStar> <Rain> We have to assume if it finished here, it will begin to travel either toward the Ents or the Magi Tower
<@DeathStar> <Rain> The Tower is closer, so we should try there
<@Seraphna> Nell> Those have stoning powers too I think. Hopefully killing it will free people.
<@DeathStar> <Melodie> What would happen if we tip over someone?
<@DeathStar> *she puts a box in Kalan's stone hand*
<@Seraphna> Nell> Makes more sense too. Turning things to stone would just give the Earth Spirit an advantage.
<@Seraphna> Nell> Also if you break one they might not come back alive
<@DeathStar> *Melodie jerks and backs away*
<@DeathStar> *as they get back in the ship, Seniga begins to head toward the Magi Tower*
<@DeathStar> *it appears at the Tower, Celine and Amber have begun something of a last stand*
<@DeathStar> *Celine is getting the students and civilians into the tower depths for protection*
<@DeathStar> <Celine> Amber.
<@Seraphna> **Amber is mask off using Goddess power on top of Magic to defend them**
<@Seraphna> Amber> Yeah hon? **concentrating**
<@DeathStar> <Celine> We have one of the special magic rune gems. If we use it to power the Tower, we could simply destroy the entire army in one go. *she leaves out the part where the destructive force would also do great harm to Geyze in general*
<@DeathStar> <Celine> This "monster lord" would stand no chance
<@Seraphna> Amber> Did you forget the price part? There might not be a tower or us afterward.
<@DeathStar> <Celine> If we aim it carefully it shouldn't hurt the planet too much
<@Seraphna> Amber> Last resort only. We aren’t there yet.
<@DeathStar> <Celine> Alita's sister used it once before after all and she used her own power at the time
<@DeathStar> <Celine> I will go load it up at least so we don't regret not being ready
<@Seraphna> Amber> Our own power would be fine. That shard would be overkill.
<@DeathStar> <Celine> And if our own power is not enough?
<@DeathStar> <Celine> The magic runes amplify one's magic
<@Seraphna> Amber> Then Geyze is already lost and you’re right. Last resort. I have a few more tricks.
<@DeathStar> *Celine bows and goes to prepare everything*
<@Seraphna> **Amber demonstrates by dropping his empowered void spheres on the enemy**
<@Seraphna> **his = Goddess
<@DeathStar> *the monsters make noises; but more keep approaching - they seem to be high level minostaur like monsters and when they get their hands on a magi they grab them and drag them off down the mountain*
<@DeathStar> *Seniga points at the fighting below*
<@Seraphna> Amber> **sends roots through the mountain to grabs up mages and push monsters down**
<@DeathStar> <Seniga> We've arrived in time. The main forces are engaging. *the Beholder can be seen floatin ahead and staring at the magi, turning at them and turning them to stone*
<@DeathStar> *it begins to stare at Amber*
<@Seraphna> **Amber sends a blast of void at it’s eyes looking away as it turns on her**
<@Seraphna> **Nell muses and starts pulling stuff out of subspace**
<@DeathStar> *The Beholder floats along redirecting itself toward other Magi now*
<@DeathStar> *Kito and Rain begin to use the weapon systems to rain down fire*
<@DeathStar> *Seniga pilots them overhead*
<@Seraphna> **Nell launches a sheet of something in the beholder’s path, chunk of reflective Chrome**

<@DeathStar> *it the dragon holds out something and suddenly Sylph is transported forth in front of them, struggling as dark lines are running through her body. As Sasha charges forward, it seems it plans to take control of Sylph like a puppet*
<@Jackieness> <Sasha> *uses her double jump spell to try leaping over Sylph, trying to bring her sword down at the dracolich with a dual-handed swing*
<@DeathStar> *overhead, the Draíocht arrives and Seniga looks down at the fighting*
<@DeathStar> *The Dracolich opts to let Sylph go and swoop away from the attack, getting distance*
<@DeathStar> *Sylph drops to the ground, holding her chest in pain as the lines fade away slowly*
<@DeathStar> *Seniga opens the hanger door for Amber and Celine*

They're stronger and more powerful, something that should only rise up once in every 10 generations. And we're dealing with 4 at once.
