<@DeathStar> *having gathered all the people who were turned to stone and transported them to the safety of the Magi Tower, the group has been looking into how to reverse the condition - but to little success. Outside killing the Beholder, it seems spells do little against the high magic done to them and most items are useless as well. It would appear only a high level soft type tonic brew will be successful, meaning they will have to gather the best items from around both Geyze and Kumen, which would put whoever undertakes this job at both risk, and even then it would not be enough to return everyone back to normal*
<@DeathStar> *Celine paces about the the library at the tower, eyeing the various books on the subject, having a list of stuff they need and looking annoyed*
<@Seraphna> Alita> If we can get the components we can ask our Suisen friends to replicate them. That may at least solve the scarcity issue.
<@DeathStar> <Celine> We're dealing with some very odd items. I was unaware they were able to replicate magic items
<@Seraphna> Alita> The physical and natural components at any rate.
<@Seraphna> Amber> Maybe when we have the magic items we can replicate those. At this point though killing the Beholder seems easier.
<@DeathStar> <Celine> Well, we have some of the items needed here at the Tower, but attaining the rest is what will be problematic. We'll have to approach Sasha and Lumi about getting people together to see if we can find the rest. For example, none of us can go to Kumen easily

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> I'll update you quickly. River was located in time to save, and has ordered what little of the Naturalist "forces" to assist us in the upcoming battles to come. He has put them under the Peacemaker forces so none of the other Kingdoms are offended. <Rain> However, there is cause for concern in other areas - maybe. A few nobles from a few kingdoms have cites that now that the Emperor has gotten what he wanted, they are withdrawing their forces back to their lands to protect them. This includes Hapian nobles

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> This will make it more difficult for a full scale assault in the future and repeling of the enemy forces. ...especially if more withdraw in the upcoming months. I admit I am shocked they did it so quickly.

<@DeathStar> *Celine steps into the throne room, eyeing all the guards facing her with weapons, then bows* <Celine> Sorry for the interruption

<@DeathStar> *Celine moves over to join* I wanted to drop by and hand this off before moving to Qui's. *she gives Lumi the list of items; Lumi glancing them over* This is the list of items we need to try to remove the stone status that Beholder used on people like Kalam. Some of them are pretty rare and some can only be found on Kumen

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> I'm thinking about putting together a small group to check out the underground's forces - see how packed with monsters they are. In order to do that, I'm thinking about recalling Gnome from sanctuary. Just a small about of people to see what it looks like a little ways in and map it out.

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> It is. Whatever group first goes in to do the mapping for future groups will likely never come out. It's why Gnome will be needed. She has the best chance to escape with whatever that group finds. I plan to volunteer for this assignment and take whoever else might be interested.

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> That's the kicker. We can't have leadership go with me. I'll see if I can't come up with some names. Maybe Sabrina from the Academy - magic might be useful. But we'll see who ever else has a particular interest in dangerous missions. Oh. While I'm thinking about it
<@DeathStar> *she sets down her report on the Emperor's devices* <Lumi> We did extensive tests on them to see if they could move or not.

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Well, after hours of taking them apart and studying them and running them through the ringer, there was no outward sign they had that ability, but our people would swear that at times they would go missing as if they moved. But if we had them under surveilence they never showed a sign of it. It was always when no one was looking or when it was under camera. But we all would find them where they should not be. So if you asked me - can they move? Yes.

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> It hasn't indicated it will move with them either, but we'll see if we can catch it in the act. We're also trying it far away - like can it be detected with a camera at a long distance.

The mood gloomy and Qui looks to be distracted, at times standing still and not moving, leading to whispers among her people. Shinobu is there, waiting on Alita, wearing a very inappropiate dark dress showing off her body*

Qui looks amused, toucing their heads and bowing to them as well* <Qui> You are right. I already have planned tonight to let them know I'll be looking into having an heir soon; once everything is back to normal, I will see who is worthy enough to stand by my side. That should satisfy the council and allow us to focus on what is more important - repairing everything and making sure everyone is healthy

<@DeathStar> <Qui> Azif basically said that it would be possible if you were her master and you wanted to use her powers, but since no one wants to use her forbidden powers, then it would be impossible. And then Lana got ill in the face at the talk of using eldritch abilities

<@DeathStar> <Qui> That half of the world apparantly has barriers up that mess with spirits - as well as summoning from what I understand. They seem to be anti-spirits. If you somehow do pull a spirit out from that half of the world, I doubt you can get them back in

As for the potion, you'd have to get that at the black market. It's uh, illegal

Due to being on the other side of the barrier over there, it's not easy to maintain a stable connection with the ship at all hours, but *she hands Alita a note with what hours seem to be the best to get through*
