<@DeathStar> <Ymir> Alright, since we have 3 locations left to investigate for the remaining 2 Gears - information that the Corporations are running their data on as well, this is likely going to put us into conflict with them at every site we go to from here on out

<@DeathStar> <Ylva> It is mostly going to be how much Star Corps or Bio Corps have invested in each of the remaining 3 locations
<@DeathStar> *Ylva wears an outfit not unlike Asarar for some reason, while Ymir is dressed more girly like. Ymir taps the screen* <Ymir> The first of the 3 - is in the middle of nowhere. No villages, nothing. If my calculations and data is right, we'll likely find it around here. *she points at the map* This area has not been touched yet by any one and remains unexplored - unless the Corporations have sent people out.
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> The second of the three locations is near a snowy mountain region that got started a while back we believe - infact you all invested in it a little when it was beginning. They're attempting to make it a hot spring resort when it was beginning. *she shows it on the map*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "We don't have the gear to do the mining ourselves."

<@DeathStar> <Ymir> I have mining equipment we can use - the ocean not so much
<@DeathStar> <Ymir> Mining under the ocean is a little trickier

<@Seraphna> Luci> I can get underwater pretty decent but taking people with me is a challenge.

<@DeathStar> <Ylva> We'd need to set up some satelites to see - but I wouldn't be shocked if they have a platform out there.

<@Jackieness> <Kira> "We have had feelers in the resort area already. Any updates there we should know about?"
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> Well, according to paperwork, the resort is a big hit. Very profitable.

<@DeathStar> <Ymir> I think what Ylva is trying to say the Corportations likely won't want to interfere with the resort directly while looking around the area.
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> It also means we can go there without needing to sneak since we have a share in it

<@DeathStar> *Ymir brings up her formulas* Judging by where the other locations have been found, they've been spread out and placed around in certain key places. *she shows Kumen and the other spots they were found* When Kumen was rocked by the Croza War, the planet was shifted about, but my formulas pretty much allowed me to formulate where the remaining 3 spots were likely to end up.

<@Jackieness> <Kira> "Bella, take the team to this dig site. Asarar and I are going to the resort ditrict to check on our investment."

<@DeathStar> *Ylva works on getting the equipment pcked into it, while Cloe stands there in a bikini*

<@DeathStar> *Cloe hangs head head, ears down as she slides into her cat armor*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "We're being sent to the middle of no where to try to beat the corps at their own game, so no beach. No hot springs. No hotel."
<@DeathStar> *Ylva gets into the pilot seat and turns to Minty*
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> Everyone ready?
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Take us out."
<@DeathStar> *Ylva begins to pilot them away from the casino and out, checking on the distance as they go.*
<@DeathStar> *after a bit of travel, they soon are traveling over what looks to be a landscape of rock and rubble, areas where the terraforming never took hold for some reason. As they fly over the barren area, they get a ping*
<@DeathStar> *up ahead are lots of Corporation digging machines up ahead - and a massive hole being dug*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "I thought they hadn't hit this area yet..."
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Take us in low and quiet. I don't want them tagging us and figuing out what's up."
<@DeathStar> *Ylva does so; the scans bring up mostly digging machines at work - and what looks to be a few temporary buildings set up nearby, likely for the workers. It seems as if this is not meant to be a long term presence and there are only a few buildings set up - around 4. The digging machines look to be more numerous though, around 12 large machines are tearing away*
<@DeathStar> *Ylva finds a place to land nearby* <Cloe> It appears they are hoping to grab it quickly and go
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "No kidding. Let's set up at the spot that Ymir identified and see if we get lucky."
<@DeathStar> *Ylva does the math and points at a ridge just up and above the Corpo digging location*
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> We'll want to dig just over there. The problem is our digging might be picked up by their sensors
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "If we sync our activity to their digging machines, it might just look like an echo from their own digging.
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> That should work. *she straps some equipment to Minty*
<@Seraphna> Minty> **buffs up a little**
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Cloe, you're on lookout."
<@DeathStar> *as they begin to step out, Cloe points - down at the digging machine seems to be the regional manager that Asarar and Kira was talking to a week or so back. It looks like he has been demoted to this job and looks angry, stalking the parameter*
<@DeathStar> *He looks to be inspecting the machines and holding something in his eyes - it looks like a type of binoculars*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Oh great... a guy we screwed over."
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> Unless we want to turn ourselves in for his promotion, we should avoid him. *she moves for the ridge, staying low*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Agreed."
<@DeathStar> *Ylva sets up the digging equipment as Minty brings it up for them*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> *keeps an eye out around the dig site*
<@Seraphna> Minty> Yo ho.
<@DeathStar> *Ylva explains to Minty how to use the equipment to dig away the ground*
<@DeathStar> *putting a met-tool helmet on her*
<@DeathStar> *are you ready for the most evil OG to dig the ground away?*

<@DeathStar> *Minty soon crashes into a chamber*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Keep a look out up here. I'm heading down." *readies a line*
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> Right. Good luck.
<@Jackieness> <Bella> *gives a salute and then repels down to the chamber below*
<@DeathStar> *Bella arrives down into a pitch black room. It is so dark, it almost feels as there is nothing*
<@DeathStar> *Well, outside Minty who she is sitting on*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> *pulls out a light and turns it on*
<@Seraphna> Minty> Hi.
<@DeathStar> *the light reveals they've come through the ceiling into a room; it appears this room once looked like a specialized room, with various control panels all over the room and more stuff, looking like something out of late Earth tech, but then you'd see strange objects that look like they belong in a magic play on the counter. Everything looks dead - no power coursing through the room. And in the corner, behind a glass camber, is a magic like amulet, with the same engravings as the gears they been finding*
<@DeathStar> *there is also one door leading out of the room, behind them with a strange magic symbol on it*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> *moves off of Minty* "Great job, Minty...let's do this." *moves to the amulet*
<@Seraphna> Minty> Looks like we won the prize.
<@DeathStar> *it rests behing the glass*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Keep an eye on that door." *gets a vid scan of the entire room before she this opening the case*
<@DeathStar> *the room has no energy but the amulet; Bella will need to break the glass to get to the amulet as it appears to be sealed all the way*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> *pulls on her fighting gloves and then tries to smash it open*
<@DeathStar> *a flash of eneregy emits across the room for aecond*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "...and that just happened."
<@DeathStar> <Cloe comm> They stopped ***** **** reason.
<@Seraphna> Minty> Time to Vamoose/
<@Jackieness> <Bella> *tries to grab the amulet* "Start heading back up!"
<@Seraphna> **Minty turns into a climbing beast and lizard crawls her way up**
<@DeathStar> *the ground shakes*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> *puts the amuleta round ehr neck and starts climbing up her line*
<@DeathStar> *Ylva is peering down as they get out*
<@Seraphna> **Minty hops out and goes default again forming her rifle**
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Got it, get the shuttle ready to fly."
<@DeathStar> *their shuttle is already being prepped and lifting up into the air when suddenly the enemy's equipment shoots up into the air*
<@DeathStar> *Ylva jerks*
<@DeathStar> *turning to look as she was making her way down to the shuttle, then ducks as it comes flying back at them*
<@DeathStar> (the equpment)
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Move!" *starts running*
<@Seraphna> **Minty creates a TK barrier and shifts her stance to dodge**
<@DeathStar> *The manager and his people are panicking and flailing as their trailers are launched up and come flying at Bella, Misty, and Ylva. The trailer comes tumbling and smashing it's way toward them along the ground and Cloe is forced to lift up away from them less the shuttle be smashed.*
<@DeathStar> *the barrier barely protects Ylva from being made into a smear*
<@DeathStar> *rising from the ground is a giant magical golem*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "What the hell got turned on?!"
<@Seraphna> Minty> Looks like a Guardian.
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> ... *shakes, her knees nearly giving out* ... w-we.. just need to outlast it... there is no mana up here...
<@DeathStar> *Cloe swings by again, ramp down*
<@DeathStar> *as the golem begins to reach for the shuttle*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Get on board the shuttle!"
<@DeathStar> *Ylva tries to stand*
<@Seraphna> **Minty lifts her and books it for the shuttle**
<@Jackieness> <Bella> *moves to try to grab Ylva and tos her on to the ramp*
<@DeathStar> *Ylva rolls onto the shuttle and grips a seat*
<@DeathStar> *the golem's hand nearly around the shuttle*
<@Seraphna> **Minty turns and pushes out, trying to throw the hand away with TK**
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Minty, barrier, now!" *hits the button to rais ehte ramp* "Cloe, Get us out of here!"
<@DeathStar> *The golem strains against Minty as Cloe boosts and gets away from the location. The golem grabs more stuff to fling after them*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Evasive maneuvers, Cloe!"
<@DeathStar> **Cloe strains to evade and evades as best she can* <Cloe> Cloe only did a bit of practice.... this is not her speciality!
<@Seraphna> **Minty tries turning sone of the projectiles away**
<@DeathStar> *Thankfully with Minty's help and Cloe's cat like reflexex, they manage to get out of range of the golem*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Do your best. we got Minty to spare us the worst!"
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> .... *peers out the window at it in the background* Hopefully I am right and this thing should fall apart once it's mana reserves run out
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "We didn't see anything like that at the other sites."
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> Ymir didn't mention any safe guards
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> I wonder if they didn't trip them by luck or if they managed to disable them
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Or they were out of mana by the time they opened up the other sites."
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Hm. There is only one Gear - and it might be either at the Resort, or it might be in the ocean. *she thinks* Lets hope it is at the resort location. If a golem attacked under the water, it would be bad.
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> Do you really think we'll be that lucky
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "I did get this thing." 8hold sup the amulet*
<@DeathStar> *Ylva slides her chair over to look at it.* <Ylva> Right, Amber has the other one so I haven't had a chance to study it. She has it in the form of a gauntlet. Can you do me a favor?
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "What's the favor?"
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> Going over Ymir's notes, and the fact this clearly does not look like a gauntlet - can you take the amulet into your hands and picture whatever form feels most natural to you. Like if you were to hold it on your purpose to wear into combat, would it be an article of clothing? A ring? Something like that

<@DeathStar> <Ylva> You can let it revert back to the amulet afterward if you prefer
<@Jackieness> <Bella> "Let me give it a shot..." *grabs the amulet with a hand and tries focusing on a more fashionable choker*
<@DeathStar> *it takes a bit, but the amulet indeed seems to transform itself into the object in Bella's mind - as if it were changing shapes to match the user's preferences and to hide itself among their clothing choices*
<@Jackieness> <Bella> *puts the choker on, which would match her urban attire betetr*
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> The other thing to test would be the magic armor aspect of it. But we can do that later. With this we have 2 of them.
<@DeathStar> <Ylva> Lets see if we can get the remaining one and make it 3.

<@DeathStar> *Asarar looks around the resort - many of the people here rich people or at least pepole who have saved up money. The hot springs being the high light of the area, though there are swimming pools and other fun activies. Their hosts are showing them around due to their stake in the resort. Ymir walks about in a bikini beside Luci*
<@DeathStar> <Host> As you can see, we are busy even now but when summer hits we'll be doing double the business

<@DeathStar> *As the group has been walking around, the team has spotted what appears to be Cain Highwind and his wife Melinda Highwind as guests here as well as Linda Cope at one point, mingling at the VIP sections*

I find it hard to believe they'd risk themselves. <Asarar> No, it just means they're willing to be here and play the card. They have someone else at the ocean location they're willing to run everything

<@DeathStar> *Ymir and Luci arrive at the pools and there they would see an area of the pools has been closed off to a handsome young man - the President's son - who has a bunch of young women all around him in the pool, pressed into him. All lauging at his jokes. His sister, Isabella, is off by herself, scrolling on her datapad, looking as if she would rather be anywhere else*

<@DeathStar> *Kira's datapad beeps - the list has been sent to her by the staffers who state they are on their way back*

<@DeathStar> *Asarar brings out here own datapad and scrolls - it looks like the President's children is there, but no sign of the President, Caesune - by no sign of Chelsea - Cain and Melinda Highwind, Linda Cope, and an interesting number of nobles from the Dark Lands, Hapian, and Legion are present. It would serve to assume they were invited, since Kumen is not allowing anyone onto the planet that they are not vetting personally right now*

<@DeathStar> *she brings up an image of a massive oil like rig, only instead of oil pumping or anything it seems to be a Tech Corp rig out in the ocean. Who knows what it's purpose is - though they claim lately to be doing experiments to restore mana to the environment. * <Cloe> Rig right where the target is at. *There appears to be something underneath it that goes right down into the ocean, like some sort of elevator*

<@DeathStar> *lunch is filled with various rich people, eating some of the best food money can provide. Ymir sits in her seat beside Luci as she eats on her meal. Isabella sits off to herself, as her brother has his army of "girls" with him. Asarar has dressed up, holding her drink, while the Corporate people are dining with the nobles, talking with them at the lunch table about various things. The oddity is it appears to be a mix of people - some of the nobles are clearly allies of the team, having sent their armies to aid them in the recent battles*

<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Well, one can look at it like this - though the President here left the Alliance and should not be making deals with non-Alliance members, there is no written rule since Shinobu pushed for making deals outside the alliance. So they could just assume the Corporations are legit and are making a quick buck on the side, to help fund their war chests to help protect their lands.
