<@DeathStar> <Ymir> If they've been replaced or if they've got something in them, it might show up in a blood sample - that could explain why the nobles are acting all strange. Might. <@DeathStar> <Isabella> Ah, I apologize for the intrusion. I happened to notice you all were here and I was wondering if Bella happened to be with you. *she can be heard on the other side of the door*
<@DeathStar> *Asarar, who has drifted to leaning on the wall, relaxes a little*
<Jackieness> <Kira> *aves a hand to the others then opens the door* "My daughter is not with us."
<@DeathStar> *Isabella glances up* I see. *She politely bows to them to them again* I apologize once more than for bothering you. Let her know I came by please. Maybe we can speak again during the upcoming celebration events for my brother's birthday next month. *she moves down the the hallway*

<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Right now, it looks like the twins big birthday isn't until the middle of next month, so we can put it out of our mind for now.

<@DeathStar> *Luci would find the laundry room of the resort to be open right now, thankfully, as the staff is busy washing various articles of clothes and sheets*
<@DeathStar> *a single large female staffer is in there, washing stuff; where a maid outfit in her size is hanging up*
<@Seraphna> **Luci wanders in and seejs out the outfit, pausing to throw out a mental urge to go check a batch some ways away to the staffer**
<@DeathStar> *the staffer pauses, then moves off to do just that*
<@Seraphna> **Luci snatches the uniform and books it**

<@DeathStar> *while most of the team is still up in the air in the shuttle, Misty is inside the shell, having been caught be Cypher, who has clamps on her wrists and is dragging her along the hallways*

<@Seraphna> **Misty waits till they’re a bit deeper in, having watched how she accesses doors**
<@DeathStar> *it looks to be done by handprints*
<@DeathStar> *Cypher drags her up some stairs*
<@Seraphna> **Misty then starts to undo the cuffs with TK while she’s busy with the stairs**
<@DeathStar> *Cypher pauses suddenly, then launches Misty at the wall again*
<@Seraphna> **Misty shifts her fork smaller to slip out of them and thrusts a wall of TK force at Cypher**
<@DeathStar> *Cypher seems dressed in a tactical outfit today, almost like the cyborg ninja from MGS, her face hidden beneath the mask*
<@Seraphna> **form
<@DeathStar> *Cypher grunts and leaps up the stairway*
<@Seraphna> **Misty rolls back down the stairs summoning her rifle and taking a few shots up at her**
<@DeathStar> *the shots bounce around and alarms go off from the shots being fired in the base. Misty would hear people approaching her further inside the base on the floor she is; due to being dragged along, it seems if she wants to go deeper into the shell, she'd have to go down, but the team is upward and they need someone to unlock the door*
<@Seraphna> **Misty shifts into Cypher to open a door and does her best to slip out of sight, she’ll need to find another way up**
<@DeathStar> *as Misty sneaks around, Cloe points down at the rooftop* Bella
<@DeathStar> *Ylva squints, keeping the shuttle in the air out of detection range*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *nods* "We ready?"
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Entrance opened a moment ago. *she points at the Big Shell's roof door having opened*
<@DeathStar> *she shifts and prepares to jump onto the roof*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *leaps for it*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe hurries across and enters the stairs, but oddly there is no sign of Misty. She looks around*
<@DeathStar> <Ylva comm> Remember, you want to get down to the lowest level where they're doing the actual digging. So keep heading downward.
<Jackieness> <Bella> *comm* "Roger. We're inserting now." *heads in*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe heads down the stairs* <Cloe> Cloe sees no Misty. Wonder if she opened door somewhere else.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "She may have been coimpromised and had to book it."
<@DeathStar> *As the two reach a lower level, they would see the guards are moblized and seem to be looking for someone*
<@DeathStar> *infact, some of them are following what looks to be Cypher herself*
<@Seraphna> **Misty works at luring a group of guards so she can replace one of them**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *notes the guards movements and moves to take advantage of Misty's distraction to head down from the other side*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe follows Bella. The current floor they are on seems to be made up of guard stations and monitoring rooms. As they walk along, the floor seems to have people in rooms focused on monitors and checking out the ocean floor below. Up ahead is large set of glass doors, with a hand print needed to open it; while Misty becomes a guard, Cloe stops in front of the sealed doors*

<@DeathStar> *behind them, some guards have taken notice and are headed their way*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *looks around for a guard alone with their back unguard*
<@DeathStar> *the two guards step up behind Bella and Cloe* You two are not scientists. Show your identification. Now.
<Jackieness> <Bella> *then turns and flash steps, trying to KO both of the guards*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe jerks a bit as they go down*
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Lucky one was not Misty
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Am told we can tell which one she is by her ass
<Jackieness> <Bella> *drags the guard that spoke* "...she not dumb enough to set me off. This guy is." *waves with his hand ebfore putting it on the reader*
<@Seraphna> Misty> <Okay can you two hear me?>
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> <Yes, voice in head>
<@DeathStar> *The reader beeps and opens the glass doors*
<@Seraphna> Misty> <I’m linking us so we can coordinate.>
<@DeathStar> *the guards seem seem to be still seekiing Misty, unaware of Bella and Cloe right now*
<Jackieness> <Bella> <We just opened the door down.> *drags the guys in through the door with them before closign it back up*
<@DeathStar> **Cloe peers down the new staircase, then begins to go down it*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *secure the two with parts of their own uniforms in case they wake up and then heads down with Cloe*
<@Seraphna> **A guard follows them down, with a fantastic ass**
<@DeathStar> *Bella and Cloe arrive at what looks to be a chamber with the ocean in the room, and a large elevator like chamber built that seems to go into the water itself. However, to activate it seems to require another handprint.* <Cloe> Will a guard work?
<@DeathStar> *her voice echoes in the watery chamber*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...let's give it a go."
<@DeathStar> <Ymir comm> If it does not, Bella might can try using the magic gear to dive into the ocean as a last resort.
<@DeathStar> *Ylva
<Jackieness> <Bella> 8goes to grab the guard again to use his hand*
<@DeathStar> *The guard makes grunting noises all the way down*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Yeah, well...its not fun for me either."
<@DeathStar> *As Bella returns to the chamber, she'd find someone standing behind Cloe in the shadows - barely able to be made out. Cloe on the other hand seems to have noticed, as there's a light growling coming from them*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tenses in case she needs to pounce*
<@DeathStar> <Cypher> I'm afraid that guard will not open the chamber doors
<@Seraphna> **Misty sets herself up off to the side planning to put Cypher Cypher’s entrance**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *just drops him*
<@DeathStar> *Her masks eyes seem to glow in the dark and Cloe turns slowly; since she isn't wearing her kitty armor right now, and relying on her mana suit, she extends her claws from her fingers*
<@Seraphna> **Misty takes aim with her rifle readying to use her sure shot**
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Where is mother? *she crouches* <Cypher> .... Safe.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Hello, Aunt Cypher."

<@DeathStar> <Cypher> Bella. You are aware if you take the steps you are taking, the entire Kumen City power will be directed against you all. They are already doing everthing they can learn who is undermining them - but with these latest affronts will be enough to have everything thrown at you

<Jackieness> <Bella> "Yeah, well...you got kidnapped and brainwashed, then you guys grabbed Bonnie...soooooooo..." *launcehs ehrself forward at cypher*
<@Seraphna> **Misty takes her shot**
<@Seraphna> Misty> You heard her, we’re taking her with us or down.
<@DeathStar> *Cypher's head snaps, the shot striking her* <Cypher> ... Hm. As much as I would like to play.... *she grabs Bella, or more like uses her hand to fend her off, she reaches out to touch the handprint, unlocking the chamber* If you want to fight me, you will lose your window
<@DeathStar> <Cypher> And it will likely destroy this room
<Jackieness> <Bella> *flashsteps, trying to tackle Cypher in through the door*
<@Seraphna> **Misty helps with a TK push**
<@DeathStar> *Cypher pulls out her energy sword, driving it along the ground right up to the chamber. Cloe then slams her with a powerful attack into the chamber itself, rocking it*
<@DeathStar> *a few warning alarms going off*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *moves to try to disarm Cypher*
<@DeathStar> *Cypher's mask seems to be shifting from a green color to a red color, and she no longer seems to be speaking to them, as if something has switched over. As Bella nears, instead of being defensive, she aims to drive the weapon right at Bella's chest*
<@Seraphna> **Misty tries to lock down Cypher with a hold**
<@Seraphna> Misty> Take her down we can pick it up later.
<Jackieness> <Bella> *use Racial D to double ehr strength and speed and tries to take down cypher while evading the stab*
<@DeathStar> *Cypher's body glows and Misty would feel her TK grip becoming harder to maintain, as if an anti-psi field was being generated; while that was occurring, she grunts as Bella comes in and lands some hits in. Cypher shifts back away, holding her weapon more defensively*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries pressing her attack by going into a Triple Strike while her strength is still buffed*
<@Seraphna> **Misty shifts the charge in her rifle and fires some EMP style shots**
<@DeathStar> *pieces of the armor breaks off as Bella comes in and Misty's shots seem to deaden some of her body, but Cypher shifts in and does coutner attack suddenly, coming in and slamming an elbow into Bella with her good arm with the same force given to her. She then hits the button to go down into the depths since she was driven into the chamber, taking Bella with her*
<@Seraphna> **Misty is moving before she can reach for the button sliding in to go with them**
<Jackieness> <Bella> 8tries to deflect the incoming attack and then tries to counter*
<@DeathStar> *prepare yourself Bella*

<@DeathStar> *Cypher seems to be pausing for a long time, then slams her hand against the glass as they go into the depths of the ocean, green returning to the mask*
<@Seraphna> **Misty forms a TK barrier around them**

<Jackieness> <Bella> *then aims for Cypher's mask and tries a Double Attack to try to blind her*
<@DeathStar> *Cypher seems to accept that has continuing, as Bella strikes the mask, a crack forming on it. As it shifts to red, Cypher's hand begins to glow*
<@Seraphna> Misty> Figure out that you’re one of our objectives dumbass. **She aims and marks her, firing repeatedly at the cracked mask**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *ducks down and then follows up with trying to outright break Cypher's arm*
<@DeathStar> *Bella would find trying to do so would like be trying to break a metal pole. Cypher's hand moves against her own chest as her eyes go red again and she suddenly expends energy against herself right as they are nearing what appears to be a facility at the bottom, causing everythign to go white*

<@DeathStar> *Ymir studies the DNA samples that Luci has returned with and has set up her computers*
<@DeathStar> <Ymir> Alright lets see if anything comes up
<@DeathStar> *Asarar looks at the time, dressed for the meeting with the resort people about profits*
<Jackieness> <Kira> *is already dressed in one of her power dresses*
<@Seraphna> **Luci helps by staying in her adult form in the maid outfit to totally not distract Ymir**
<@DeathStar> <Ymir> Hm... *studies the first sample*
<@DeathStar> <Ymir> That is strange
<@DeathStar> *Ymir takes another sample and looks at it* <Ymir> .... Very odd

<@DeathStar> <Ymir> Maybe.... I'd need to study this more thoroughly but there is something foreign in their system alright. I'll need to go through slide to see if it's in every one of them, but it's like there's something in their blood.

<@DeathStar> *Ymir nods and gives Luci the data* I'll send the information to Shinobu in the meantime. Since we can't tell when this was introduced into them. It could have been yesterday or weeks ago
<@DeathStar> <Ymir> But somehow these nobles had this strange substance put into their bodies
<@Seraphna> Luci> I can see it really screwing over Vampires at least.
<@DeathStar> *Asarar arrives at the meeting with Kira. Surprisingly, the corporation leaders are not there this time. Isabella sits with Raul who brother, who looks bored.*
<@DeathStar> <Resort Leader> I am afraid that we had some cancelations on the tonight's dinner, but I hopefully you all are still intereted in going over everything related to this place
<@DeathStar> *Luci would find the kitchen food is clear of toxins*

<@DeathStar> <Raul> Look, how long is this going to take. *he asks the resort manager* I have date tonight. *he slips the manager some cash* Can you make sure to have this be brief? *He gives Kira and Asarar a smile* Not that your company isn't appreciated

<@DeathStar> *Isabella rolls her eyes at Raul, then simply nods at Kira*

<@DeathStar> *Ymir eyes a message from Ylva, then comms Kira in her ear* <Ymir> We may have a situation. Try not to react since you're at the dinner party
<Jackieness> <Kira> *doesn't give any indication that anything is amiss* "Proceed with the presentation."
<@DeathStar> <Ymir> Ylva has lost contact with Bella and the others. She says she detected a massive explosion under water and that there is no way for her to get down there to verify if the kids are alright. She's going to keep trying to reach them in the meantime. I'm going to pack up and see if I can put together some equipment relating to underwater dives
<@DeathStar> *The Resort manager begins to go over the presentation*
<@DeathStar> *Asarar slowly sips her drink, poker faced*

<@DeathStar> *the group wakes up with scientists looking over them, and hurting. Somehow, they are alive.*

<@DeathStar> *Bella and Misty would find themselves wet and sitting on the floor of a chamber that looks to be partially flooded*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *looks around*
<@DeathStar> *around them the equipment to go up to the Big Shell looks completely broken now, meaning to go back up is now impossible*
<@DeathStar> *they seem to be in a digging site underwater; further chambers ahead digging sounds can be heard*
<@DeathStar> <Miner A> Can you stand?
<@DeathStar> *He offers Bella a hand*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Yeah..." *takes the hand and stands*
<@DeathStar> <Miner A> You girls were lucky. We found you floating right outside. The pressure should have popped you but somehow you were unharmed
<@Seraphna> Misty> Call us Lady Lucks... oi... **stands slowly**
<@DeathStar> *the Scientist looks Misty over*

<@DeathStar> <Scientist> You can rest here. *they lead them to where the people sleep, finding them some beds*
<@DeathStar> <Miner B> Right now communications are down due to that explosion. It was almost like someone crippled everything down here - but we'll have it back up and running soon. You girls just wait here and we'll send someone down to get you. ... somehow

<@Seraphna> Misty> I'm a bit handy with equipment.
<@DeathStar> <Miner A> Well, I'd love somehow but we have some sensitive work going on here. The suits probably wouldn't appreciate it.

<@DeathStar> <Scientist A> Sorry, NDAs. The corporates are looking for something. You girls really shouldn't even be here. They'll probably have you sign a lot of stuff once you're rescued.
<@DeathStar> *a third miner runs up* <Miner C> Hey, we might have found it. *the men look up, then turn back* You two wait here. We'll solve this problem later. We'll uh, make sure to get some food sent your way. *they men run off, leaving the two alone*
<@Seraphna> Misty> <Well, we could take them down and take the armor, if they found it.>
<@DeathStar> *it even appears the camera systems are acting up, as they are not moving or anything - it looks like Cypher's explosion really did a number down here*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *nods* "...hope Cloe is ok..."
<@DeathStar> *the only other person in the sleeping quarters is a blonde man with spikey hair, snoring*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *looks at the man to make sure he's not faking and then nods to Misty Mint*
<@Seraphna> **She shifts into the blonde haired man and moves out with Bella**
<@DeathStar> *outside of the quarters, Bella would see what looks to be a hallway; Minty and Bella would see a larger chamber up ahead which is the dig site with lots of people usigng powerful tools to dig into the ocean floor*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Be sure you have a story in case someone asks why you're up and about."
<@DeathStar> *however right now it all seems to be turned off and the miners look to be glancing over something in the rock; all of them gathered around it. It appears to be a facility entrance they uncovered and they are debating if they should go inside it*

<@DeathStar> *all the magic symbols and stuff looks to be dead as she moves inside. As it goes deeper and deeper, nothing seems to come to life. However, further in she'd see an amulet/locket much like what Bella found in the other place. As she is going in, alarms go off and a scientist checks it out on a console; with the damage to the facility, he seems to be having trouble identifying what the alarms are for until he finds a camera out side that is working*

<@Seraphna> **Misty calls out for the miners to get to safety, then starts helping herself to the Amulet while they're busy**

<@DeathStar> <Asarar> The piece is definitely tied to those mana tunnels in someway. The remaining mana seems to be down there and it's being directed somewhere - from what Ylva could find, it looked like Quadrant 1.
<@DeathStar> *Ylva fiddles with her hair* Speaking of all this, I think I have an idea of Cypher and what is going on.

<@DeathStar> <Ylva> Cypher most definitely died - and they likely retrieved her body along with whatever else they could get their hands on when they took our building and what was in there. How they managed to bring her to life, I do not know, but that exo-suit of hers is probably keeping her alive. And it's probably feeling her commands and prompts we can't begin to imagine.

When you all fight her, the machine seems to take over more than Cypher does; but at the same time, when Cypher is calm, she still is not coming with you. All I can figure is she must have a reason - my guess, she probably does not want to compromise you all at this time. Her body probably has so many tracking devices, it would be game over
