It's begun to lead to more armies beginning to feel more lax. *Delgi reports* They feel like the Emperor has what he wanted - the Creation Piece - and has no reason to come back
<@DeathStar> <Kito> Plus some of the nobles have begun to outright call them back to their own lands to protect them, feeling it more important than holding any sort of lines
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "At this point, we cna assume his focus is upon acquiring more pieces...so the moment one turns up, his forces wil move again."
<@DeathStar> <Rain> I been speaking with River of the Naturalist - he has recovered enough to attend meetings now and give his account of the attack on his Kingdom. The leader of ... Counter Earth? Whatever we wish to call the Earth of the Mirror Universe, they also wish to hold a meeting since they been doing the Sanctuary for our Spirits to keep them out of reach of the Magic Emperor. I'm not sure what they wish to speak about
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Arrange a council then. As for my nobles, this is, unfortunately, not the time to confront them. At this moment of crisis, I need a rebellion even less than I need selfish fops."
<@DeathStar> <Kito> There is one thing about the noble situation - I haven't had too much time to follow up on it yet. Ymir messaged me the other day sent me a puzzling message the other day - asking if I ever followed up on the strange results on the nobles.
<@DeathStar> <Kito> I had no idea what she was talking about and we've been a little busy on other things - such as preparing the expedition and trying to locate the Aquarius since it vanished from our comms a while back

<@DeathStar> <Kito> Well, all I can assume is she sent something about some sort of test about regarding the nobles. Do you want me to follow up on it?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If you do not feel that its a distraction, then proceed."
<@DeathStar> *Kito nods and stands up, stepping out of the room to contact Ymir. Delgi and Rain watch her go, then turn to Sasha* <Delgi> Speaking of the Aquarius, we've been having Seniga fly the Draíocht to try and locate the Aquarius, but so far no luck. Melodie and Aimee have not located it's signature. There is a high chance it might have been attacked
<@DeathStar> <Rain> The problem is the new Aquarius is more of a Dark One ship now, making it harder to understand than before
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "What could pose a threat to the Aquarius?"
<@DeathStar> <Delgi> That's a good question. Since it's made up of Dark One materials now, as well as the materials that compromised Mireille's core, I would at heart say not much could take it down. It should be a perfect blend of Dark One and spirit/magic, making it hard to bring down. So I would normally think it would have to be something that could pierce one of those element's weaknesses

<@DeathStar> <Rain> That could be a candidate, yes.
<@DeathStar> <Delgi> If the new continent has as much magic as Qui was saying, then they might could wield such magics
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "At this point, we have too many unknowns. Unless we knew what we are dealing with, I am not rpepared to risk the Draiocht as well... especially given that it could be our trump card against these ancient forces."
<@DeathStar> <Delgi> Should I recall it then before it goes too much further into the new lands? Right now it's been doing primarily scans at the coast

<@DeathStar> <Rain> Speaking of everyone over there, we won't be getting new intel on the group's movement over there anymore I fear
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "I'm not surprised, but continue."
<@DeathStar> <Rain> Since the attack on the Amazons, Qui has been having to focus on her time here, which she says has made her not focus on her connection to the Nymph body she was controlling. She stated that when she woke up the other day, the connection felt servered and realized it likely was due to her not giving it her proper focus, and it likely has gone to sleep over there. Hopefully her niece will explain the situation without freaking everyone out on why "she" is remaining asleep.

<@DeathStar> <Kito> About a week ago, some nobles - not just ours but a few from various Kingdoms - were attending a resort on Kumen, and were being wooed by Corporation Presidents and the President's children. Ymir did tests on them and it seems that they had some unknown foreign blood infestation in them and sent into Shinobu to see what she thought, but never got anything back. *she hands the results to Rain*

<@DeathStar> <Rain> Well, what you have here is two types of "blood infestation"

<@DeathStar> <Rain> The first is the more prevailant one it looks like - there's vampire blood in their system. I am unsure how it was introduced into so many nobles. Usually one drinks the blood, but it can be introduced in other ways, I suppose. *she thinks* It doesn't take a lot, I suppose. It could have been introduced in a drink, maybe. This would infect them without turning them

<@DeathStar> <Rain> The second of the two is pure vampire - someone is turning the nobles.

<@DeathStar> *Delgi returns and sets down papers* It looks like 30% of them are indeed these so called thralls. And the rest are friends of the nobles who are thralls

<@DeathStar> *Rain shakes her head* Just are nobles. Odd that they were meeting with vampires. Were the vampires planning to attack them, or are they actually friends...

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "What is the probability that Shinbou lost her fight with the Vampire Monster Queen and is now a puppet?"

She might have actually won, and there's an even higher chance she's being slowly eaten away now without realizing it - having had to win the way she did, it allowed access to her mind, after all. She could be making actions she doesn't even realize. Each day she could be becoming the Monster Lord herself, and she may be crossing the line or has crossed the line to becoming her

<@DeathStar> <Kito> If Shinobu IS slowly turning into this Monster Lord she defeated, then we're dealing with a vampire that can corrupt minds.

<@DeathStar> <Delgi> Let us go with the possibility that Shinobu is compromised and each day she will become less like herself for the time being. Lets go with the facts we know of
<@DeathStar> <Delgi> At some point she infected a lot of nobles - there must have been some sort of gathering. Maybe Alita knows. And she made thralls of these nobles and turned others into vampires. And 30% of them have dropped out of the war, while the rest have remained fighting for us for some reason

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The most obvious scenario is that she can use our own army to stage a takeover."
<@DeathStar> <Delgi> It is must likely scenario, yes - the remaining 70% can be taken from us when we least expect it and turn to work for her

<@DeathStar> <Rain> The problem is if we confront Shinobu and the Monster Lord does have her hooks into her mind, it might fully opt to take over.

<@Seraphna> Alita> I really only have her word on it. But I tend to trust my wife.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And yet we have a vampire conspiracy taking place now."
<@Seraphna> Alita> Mmm, yes. Though she doesn’t have exclusivity on vampirism.
<@DeathStar> <Rain> Either alternative does not look well. If Shinobu defeated the Monster Lord Vampire, it would appear it got her claws into her head and Shinobu is compromised. After all, I do not think I could beat such a beast unschathed. Or, I am assuming Melodie is poking at the fact that Shinobu did not infact defeat the Monster Lord?

<@Seraphna> Alita> It seems that the Kumen are working with a number of Vampire Nobility, and they're being laced with Vampire blood.
<@DeathStar> *Shinobu pauses at that, turning her head* That is concerning. Is Kumen raising a Vampire Noble army? *Rain eyes her from behind, burning holes in her back since Ymir sent her that information already*

<@DeathStar> *Shinobu pauses, then moves to her messages, scrolling through them, then seems to hold them up - it looks as if the message is not there. It would seem it has been deleted* I do not see it. When was this?
<@Seraphna> Alita> **hands her the printed copy with the time stamps** Someone's intercepting your messages it seems.
<@Seraphna> **Nell watches Shinobu, glancing over her surface thoughts**

<@Seraphna> Nell> Well there's two possibilities about your messages. Either there's a vampire making sure you don't see messags, or there's a vampire making sure you don't see messages. By the second one I mean the remnants of the Vampire Queen in your head.
<@Seraphna> Alita> I haven't seen any such incidents where she changes personality or anything myself.

They agreed to come back from the Sanctuary to help out. I am also hoping to gather some more volunteers to join us. I plan to leave Kalam in charge of the place while I am gone

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Well, after time broke and all that, the Visage were not as numerous as they were before. But there are still some pockets of them here and there. Just the future with them was changed as we sort of ... broke time and made it our bitch
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> I think for the most part they keep to themselves in their communties
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> After all they had to be brought down to Geyze due to their tech being so ancient
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And they likely don't have the ships on the manpower to throw t such a venture anyway. What about Kumen's fleet?"
<@DeathStar> <Lumi> Well, the funny thing is Ymir was working with some of the Visage before you know..

<@DeathStar> <Lumi> I have no idea if any of the Visage remained part of Kumen's operations after that
