<DeathStar> *after the incident a few hours ago with the giant hand, the team has returned to the Hapian Kingdom; however, the time anaomlies are still occurring even as they travel. Ren eyes the city as they approach, noting that the gates are up for some reason; Selena slows a bit*
<DeathStar> <Ren> That normal? <Selena> Not really. <Lumi> Perhaps Violet ordered the city on lock down due to that is going on
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Well the Suisen family members we had with us are missing. That might cause problems.
<DeathStar> *Andrea leans back* <Andrea> When do they not get into trouble? I'm sure Jaime will be fine
<Seraphna> Kaelan> True enough.
<DeathStar> *Calli tilts her head, studying the Hapian guard on the walls as Selena approaches the gates*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Well they’re gonna miss the Geyze vacation.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Can this really be considered a vacation at this point? <Taiga> We need to focus on fixing whatever is causing the time issue before it somehow spreads to our univese.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> If it does, it could cause serious problems
<Seraphna> Si> Wouldn’t that be the big time anomaly we just left?
<DeathStar> *Selena stops in front of the gates* By order of the queen, open the gates. *a voice speaks from the other side* <Guard> I am afraid I cannot do that, m'lady. Princess Violet has places the city on lockdown due to the possibility of look alikes running around trying to enter the city. She has stated none may enter at this time until she gives the order to lift the lockdown.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Then bring her here to verify?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I'm afraid that big one is spreading. There's more points appearing. *She is eyeing her datapad*
<DeathStar> *the guard sounds uncomfortable for some reason* She is currently busy at the moment and cannot be reached
<DeathStar> *Selena crosses her arms, looking thoughtful, turning from the gates*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> **looks at Selena** How many times do people think they can play this card. Shall I?
<DeathStar> <Selena> And what do you plan to do exactly?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Come on through the shadow under Soren’s hideout couch.
<DeathStar> *Selena considers* We certainly could use the spirit tech inside Hapian if we are to track what is going on. Go ahead.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan opens a passage in a nearby shadow**
<DeathStar> *Ymir looks around as Kaelan does that. As Selena begins to approach the shadow, suddenly an arrow slams into Selena's back from somewhere in the castle wall area, causing her to jerk forward as she begins to approach the shadow*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Look out!
<DeathStar> *She crouches and looks around, spotting what looks to be a guard up there before they go down out of sight*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan grabs the arrow and walks her through since they were going right to someone who can heal her**
<DeathStar> *Taiga and Ren move through with Lumi and Ymir following*
<Seraphna> **Luci follows behind with a shield ready**
<DeathStar> *the room seems to have even more nerd stuff over the years*
<DeathStar> *but no sign of Soren*
<DeathStar> *Selena twitches, clearly having tapped into her spirit energy but it seems like the arrow is giving her trouble*
<Seraphna> **Kaekan yanks it out**
<DeathStar> *Ren begins to clear off the couch of various books to lay Selena on*
<DeathStar> <Selena> AAGH
<DeathStar> *the arrow looks poisonous*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Poison.
<DeathStar> *Ymir studies it* I'd have to figure out what type of poison.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan purifies her as best she can, Truth popping out to work antidote magic.**
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Selena, what is it with you Hapians and coups every time you go out for a stroll?
<DeathStar> <Selena> Ha ha.... it's been rather peaceful these past years. My sister never had interest in the throne and she simply went off adventuring, having never come back from one. My mothers died in their sleep. The last coup was done by my grandmother back when I was young
<DeathStar> <Selena> I guess I let me guard down around the nobles
<DeathStar> *Truth and Kaelan seem to stablize her a bit; the poison seeming to be one made to target spirits themselves*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Well if they hurt Soren I’ll be forced to refresh your nobility.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Spirit Poison. Oh yes it’s going to get bloody around here.
<DeathStar> *Ymir muses* Insidious. An actual poison that can get at spirits, eating away at their spirit energy enough to weaken them
<DeathStar> *Ren seems to be thinking*
<DeathStar> <Ren> So we're dealing with someone who is adept at poisons then
<Seraphna> Kaelan> And knows enough about spirits to target their energy.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We have to consider the Hapian Spirits will not be backing us up
<DeathStar> *Lumi checks Selena's forehead* <Lumi> Selena is still running a fever. She remain here. *as Lumi says that, footsteps can be heard near Soren's place, as if people were approaching*
<DeathStar> *Luci's datapad begins to beep at the same time*
<Seraphna> **Luci checks it**
<Seraphna> **Kaelan muses and readies something at the entrance, surprised if they can actually get in**
<DeathStar> *it looks to be from an outside source - Kumen. It looks to be her old boss, Asarar, looking to ping her location, if she will allow it*
<Seraphna> **Luci muses** Why does Asarar want our location?
<DeathStar> <Ymir> Well, we did vanish from the grid to appear in here I guess
<DeathStar> *she looks around* Where is here?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> A hidden chamber in the spirit sections of the castle that Soren uses as her personal space. I'm here a lot. Making it personal.
<Seraphna> *Luci sends a coded signal back that would be easily solved by Asarar but come up as gibberish for anyone else**
<DeathStar> *outside the chamber many footsteps can be heard, as if they were setting up an ambush point*
<DeathStar> <Ren> I think they know we're in here - which makes this all the more sus in my eye
<DeathStar> <Selena> Well - I knew about this location. I am sure a few others did too
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Very much so. I don't think Asarar would be needing it as a spy if they already know we're here though.
<DeathStar> *Selena looks as if she's struggling to stay awake*
<DeathStar> *the door to the room begins to open and strangely armored guards begin to enter the room when Kaelan's trap begins to go off. However, many of them hung back, so only the first wave is caught*
<DeathStar> *Ren and Calli prepare for combat as the guards rush in. Andrea sits on a chair, waiting to see how this plays out*
<Seraphna> **They are violated in ways that would increase our poor, poor content ratings, and since they aren't Soren, thrown back into the second wave violently**
<Seraphna> **Kaelan draws Wyrd and Truth appears in her other hand, starting to glow with moonlight**
<Seraphna> **Luci forms a barrier around the non-combatants**
<DeathStar> *Ren dashes in, as Calli increases her size and begins to grabs soldiers with her tendrils, smashing them. Ren, still injured, leaps into the fray and begins to slash her claws at them, knocking one back and chomping into another, when she's grabbed, her speed already decreased*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan is on the one grabbing her in an instance, slicing and slashing, whipping out at others to drain them**
<DeathStar> *The guards begin to approach, glowing with light energy, and grabs Kaelan, beginning to repel her Dark One powers*
<Seraphna> **Luci hurls rusty looking spears into the rows outside that explode into shards**
<Seraphna> **Kaelan cackles and blasts Foxfire wreathed in Moonlight at that one**
<DeathStar> *then turn to Luci and begin to throw their holy lances at her, detonting them to send her flying back, even as she has sent many of their numbers flying*
<DeathStar> *Kaelan catches the one off guard, dropping her*
<Seraphna> **Luci gets up undertaker style and forms heavier armor, starting to give even more effort into dealing damage**
<DeathStar> *Calli eyes her own power vanishing as guards surround her*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan slices at a few more before drawing a shadow Katana, letting Truth dive in as another body with blades**
<Seraphna> **Luci sends the coordinates in the confusion, seeeing as it can't get worse**
<DeathStar> *the soldiers begin to regroup and seem to be preparing something, while another wave prepare a shield to keep the group back*
<DeathStar> *Ren slams into the shield angerily and Calli tries to break it*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan looks about, then reaches out, sending shadowy tendrils out into a spirit vein and back outside the room, stabbing with Nocturne's powers**
<Seraphna> **LUci sets the datapad down for Asarar to track and starts forming an Aegis Shield of her own**
<DeathStar> *slipping up behind the guards, some catgirls begin to approach them; one looks a lot like Bonnie, another like Cherie by with more purpleish hair, and another like Chelsea, and finally one lke Cloe. They zoom in behind the guards and begin to stab them from behind, with Asarar leading them, sporting an eyepatch. The guards doing the shield get distracted by this as well, as they have to turn*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan lets shadowy tendrils travel through friendly shadows to add to the stabbing, she has stress to get out of her system**
<DeathStar> *the soldiers are caught between two forces and are soon brought down in number. Ren makes a slight face after it is over*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Shit Selena, a whole lot of guards are completely untrustworthy.
<DeathStar> <Selena> I don't even recognize that armor... Can you unmask one of them...?
<DeathStar> *Asarar motions at Chelsea to check the area out; she heads off with the new catgirl while Bonnie and Cloe join them*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan pulls a mask off**
<Seraphna> Luci> Thanks for the save by the way. How long as this been going on without us knowing?
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I don't typically follow Geyze politics. But the entire planet is becoming unstable and then you all vanished
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Right after you took an arrow to the back
<DeathStar> *Selena seems to be studying the man* I believe he is a Hapian citizen. He was part of the workforce that was expanding our spirit-tech out across the Kingdom. Violet was in charge of the outer kingdom projects and hired many men like this for such projects. I'm pretty sure this man should be building stuff, not fighting
<Seraphna> Kaelan> We were breaking in because it is obvious that Selena's kid got hijacked.
<DeathStar> *Ren leans back against the couch, thinking*
<DeathStar> <Bonnie> And where is the Princess right now?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Fucked if we know. Soren is missing too. And that arrow had a spirit poison on it.
<DeathStar> <Selena> Here.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan looks over**
<DeathStar> *Selena hands Kaelan a key* There is a hidden chamber for royality to hide inside the castle incase of emergency. If she is not in the throne room, she should be there. Neekito would normally lead you there, but she might be missing as well. Nicolette also knows the location, so you can check her room - she would likely have a map done up to locate it
<DeathStar> *Selena leans back to rest her eyes* <Selena> Give me a bit and I will join you personally
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Right. **she passes Selena a bottle of something** Drink this, but do it carefully without exposing the opening to the air for long.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> And careful, it's warm.
<DeathStar> <Cloe> Giving sus drink
<Seraphna> Kaelan> It's Sunshine.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Alright, lets set out and see if we can't find clues at Nicolette's
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I raise moon goddesses, guess what gets a moon to glow~
<DeathStar> *Ren works her way down to the castle proper. The castle guard seems to have their patrol up higher than usual*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Guard shouldn't be this high, it's dangerous for them with the Spirit Gaps.
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Well. They certainly seem to be busy. *Bonnie, Cloe, Chelsea, and the younger catgirl peer around Asarar*
<DeathStar> <Lumi> I believe Nicolette's room is this way
<DeathStar> *Lumi leads them down the hallway - thankfully it is on top levels of the castle and Lumi leads them along toward a wooden door after a bit, located near Selena's room*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan muses and reaches out with a tendril to test the door before opening it**
<DeathStar> *As they step into Nicolette's room, they would find it mostly has stuff Nicolette would find valuable over the past 100 years - books, documents, probably some gifts given to her, various things. The room appears to be one of the larget rooms in the castle, on part with Selena's. It is clear Selena favors Nicolette. Also, lots of amazing hats.*
<DeathStar> *infact, one of the hats is wiggling right now*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan rolls her eyes and walks over to lift it up** Lavenza.
<DeathStar> *Lavenza peeks out, having retreated there after last session - in fairy mode*
<DeathStar> <Lavenza> Is scary other Lavenza gone?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Scary what?
<DeathStar> <Asarar> There was a scary verison? I find that hard to believe
<DeathStar> <Lavenza> For some reason, being near the other one, made Lavenza feel like her identity was not real.
<DeathStar> *Cloe looks at Bonnie* <Bonnie> Don't worry about it
<DeathStar> <Cloe> Is Cloe not Cloe?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> We encountered an alternate timeline of selves. Unlike reality alternates, they're technically us, just temporaly seperated.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> That's probably what she felt.
<DeathStar> *Ren kneels and checks various drawers for the map*
<DeathStar> <Lavenza> What looking for? Secret passages?
<Seraphna> Luci> The whole you are not the person you were 5 minutes ago thing is not philophy but real. Got it.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> The Princess and Soren.
<DeathStar> <Lavenza> Oh. Hm. *She pushes poofs into her human size and taps on the wall, opening a secret passage*
<DeathStar> *Ren peers into the passage*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Shall we?
<DeathStar> *Bonnie dashes inside; a moment later she returns* It appears Nicolette's room is connected to Selena's room through a secret passage. And in the middle of it is a podium with documents.
<Seraphna> **Luci closes the doors to the bedroom and forms two spears to bar the doors with. Then follows the rest**
<DeathStar> *the passage is indeed connected it appears to Selean's queen bedroom; between the two is a podium where it looks like the two were able to share hidden files and documents between themselves and store stuff.*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> A passage between them. How cute. I just have Chelsea in my room
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I prefer big beds that you can fill with women. **She muses and looks for the secret chamber**
<DeathStar> *she teases her tail as she kneels, going through the documents*
<DeathStar> *Bonnie eyes Kaelan with a look*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Hey, you live life how you want, I'll live life the right way.
<DeathStar> *Kaelan is currently in the secret chamber hallway; the end of it ends with what appears to be a "dead end" but can be pushed against to enter Selena's room*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan opens it**
<DeathStar> *Selena ends up right next to Selena's bedroom, a statue of the firest Hapian Empress - Celes - moving aside.*

<DeathStar> <Asarar> Do you know where the hidden chamber is that the royality would go if they needed to hide?
<DeathStar> <Asarar> Something tells me it is not this connecting passage between rooms
<DeathStar> <Ren> No, no, Lavenza was right. Here. *She grabs a piece of paper from the notes that Selena and Nicolette were writing to each other and lays it out* Here
<DeathStar> <Ren> It states there is a way to shift this area into the spriit realm
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Mmm, it's probably connected to the Spirit ability to shift there.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I can't do that, but Lavenza should probably be able to do it with ease.
<DeathStar> *Lavenza blinks, then looks around* You do not mind me warping you? It might feel strange
<DeathStar> <Lavenza> Is this what you want? *she looks at Kaelan, phrasing it directly*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> It's been done before.,
<Seraphna> Luci> I hate it but sure.
<DeathStar> *the team feels like they're being shifted around ala Soul Reaver, appearing in the spirit spirit as things change around them.*
<DeathStar> *the room appears cut off from the rest of the castle and standing there is Violet, looking through files and folders, when she straightens and turns around*
<DeathStar> <Violet> ---how?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> How do you think? You know the castle has been taken over right?
<DeathStar> *Violet studies them all, her red eyes flicker between each of them, then she brushes her black hair back slowly as if gathering her thoughts* Yes, I am aware something is up. ...... It is why I'm here. If you're here, I am guessing you managed to defeat the intruders?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> A big number of them, dozens at least. Your mother got shot though.
<DeathStar> <Violet> How is she? Will she be okay?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> We hope she'll pull through. Where's Soren?
<DeathStar> *Asarar shifts around to look at the ground, sharing at look at Chelsea.*
<DeathStar> <Violet> Hm. I haven't felt her for a bit now. But let me exit us from this place and I will see if I can't try to locate her better. *she reaches for the wall - it looks like there is some sort of switch there*
<DeathStar> *a moment or two passes and indeed, they shift back into the real world; oddly enough the switch does not seem to be present now*
<DeathStar> *Asarar kneels, noting the documents are no longer present on the floor as well*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Weird... some things are different.
<DeathStar> <Lavenza> Yes!
<DeathStar> <Lavenza> The spirit realm houses objects that the real realm does not. It is why things like the spirit realm has the spirit temple and the spirit chambers
<DeathStar> <Lavenza> The castle also overlaps in other areas. Selena and Nicolette discovered some things if they are made with spirit tech or spirit energy could be placed and ovelayed
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Where'd the notes go?
<DeathStar> <Lavenza> They were notes Selena made with spirit energy so that they can only be viewed in the spirit realm
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Secret sexy notes only for spirits to see. I must remember this for later to embarass Soren.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Lets focus
<DeathStar> <Taiga> We need to end the lock down and find your missing spirits
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Right, Princess, find my sexy angel.
<DeathStar> *Violet nods and moves ahead, out of Selena's room, calling the guards forth* Prepare to end the lockdown. Also, please look for my mother so that she can receive medical aid - set up the medical wing on the first floor
<DeathStar> *Violet leads the others toward the west wing of the castle. Asarar motions for Chelsea and their daughter to follow the guards to make sure everything goes smoothly, keeping Bonnie and Cloe with her*
<DeathStar> *Ren holds her stomach as they walk along, sweating a bit, along her face strange curse like symbols have worked their way up to her neck* I need to have Andrea look at me when we have a break
<Seraphna> **Kaelan moves along, she checks in a shadow on the state of Soren's room**
<Seraphna> Luci> Yeah, that curse looks bad.
<DeathStar> *Ymir is still keeping an eye on Selena, who seems unconscious; Andrea and Calli look to be looking around*
<Seraphna> Luci> Feeling any need to eat brains or open the portals of hell? Just let us know.

<Seraphna> Kaelan> Hey Andrea, Ren's looking real "I'm about to summon Cthulhu to dinner."
<DeathStar> *Andrea sinks into the floor, then appears behind Ren, studying her, then suddenly nabs her and vanishes*
<DeathStar> *Violet stops in front of what looks to be the throne room and Lavenza halts and looks cagey*
<DeathStar> <Lavenza> ... *backs away*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> What is it?
<DeathStar> <Lavenza> That room is scary. It feels like if I walk in there I'll be trapped
<DeathStar> *Violet turns to look at Lavenza, then into the throne room* But I am certain Soren is in here
<DeathStar> <Cloe> Should Cloe go in first?
<Seraphna> **Kaelan muses** Spirits hang back. She mkight be in a trap.
<DeathStar> *Lavenza backs off*
<DeathStar> *Violet quietly bows and steps back, being part spirit*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan readies her blades and moves in with others who help, Luci goes in full armor**
<DeathStar> *Asarar creeps into the room. Asarar looks around, her good eye scanning the place and Bonnie moves toward the throne room. Lumi crouches along when Cloe leans around the throne when suddenly she is thrown across the room, twitching and her form beginning to become see through*
<DeathStar> *wild spirit enery begins to fire off across the room from behind the throne room, smashign and blowing things up. It nearly hits Bonnie, which would be fatal due to her being mana based*
<DeathStar> <Bonnie> S-Son of a ... *she rolls and grabs at Cloe, shielding her*
<Seraphna> **Luci throws up an Aegis around them**
<DeathStar> <Asarar> What the hell is going on back there?
<DeathStar> *Bonnie begins to transfer her own mana to Cloe to stablize her*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Some wild spirit magic attacks, it's either Soren or something use her as a battery.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Do you have a plan to get back there then?
<DeathStar> *Taiga squints as the spirit energy begins to tear holes in the ceiling and blows up the balcony*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> I'm guessing shooting it would be frowned on
<DeathStar> *she squints and scans the area back there, getting readings of a spirit*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan muses and crosses her blades, them steaps out sending a cancelling wave of energy, spirit and Kitsune combined out as she moves** SOREN.
<DeathStar> *the spirit energy dies down a bit; Soren is laying there, an arrow in her chest, as well as something else, some sort of spirit-tech, which seems to be causing her body to unleash her spirit energy wildly*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan slices through the air to try and curt off the tech at a wire**
<DeathStar> *The device explodes on Soren, causing her to jerk about violently, then she goes limp*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan removes the arrow and begins feeding her spirit energy**
<Seraphna> **Luci moves in to shield them**
<DeathStar> *Asarar approaches as Soren seems to calm down* Well that's one of them - where is Aska
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I assume being used in a similar manner somewhere.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I'm going to kill every last person involved in this by the way.
<DeathStar> *Violet steps into the room along Lavenza*
<DeathStar> <Violet> Perhaps I should have you stay here then for a time
<DeathStar> *Soren opens her eyes, looking about trying to focus. Violet stands there, staring at her intently*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Mm, no, you want me out there stopping more of these people. Besides, I don't really follow orders unless they come from my Goddess.
<DeathStar> <Soren> Where is the Queen? Where is Selena?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> In your room, recuperating from a similar arrow.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Sorry but it's the only shadow I know to get to.
<DeathStar> <Soren> As long as she is safe. *she closes her eyes*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Rest my angel.
<Seraphna> Luci> If this is what Soren outputted, it shouldn't be hard to spot whatever they use Aska for.
<DeathStar> *Soren closes her eyes*
<DeathStar> <Violet> I will see if my guards have run into anything of the sort
<Seraphna> **Luci sends out an alert about a forced spirit attack through the network**
<Seraphna> Luci> Alerting the Kingdoms I'm in touch with.
<DeathStar> *she steps away; Asarar watches her go, then turns back to the others*
<DeathStar> <Asarar> So. What are you thinking?
<Seraphna> Luci> What were Violet and those workers doing that got them to act like this... and who the fuck is pulling the strings.
<DeathStar> *Cloe sits up, with Bonnie's help*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> This is quite a distraction, we should be handling the Eldritch Spawn and instead we have a new crisis.
<DeathStar> <Cloe> Maybe we should ask Ymir how of the soldiers upstairs were part of Violet's project?

<Seraphna> **Kaelan nods, warping them to Soren's room and setting her on Selena**
<Seraphna> Luci> Babe, they wanna know more about these worker-soldiers.
<DeathStar> *Selena's breathing looks better; as they arrive, it looks like Ymir has been busy unmasking and scanning their faces already*
<DeathStar> <Ymir> Well, it looks like every one of them were part of the project Violet was in charge of - this spirit-tech expansion project. Many were wondering why Selena had not retired yet and turned the Kingdom over to Violet despite Selena's age and Violet being Princess for several decades now. But she seemed to continually put her in charge of projects like the expansion project, which was to create new spirit-technology and spreadit through out Hapian so even the smaller villages were able to enjoy the benefits of it
<DeathStar> <Ymir> Violet hand picked all these men according to the files doe their knowledge of spirit-tech and it's benefits
<DeathStar> <Ymir> This project was in the work for years
<Seraphna> Kaelan> And we caught her snooping in Selena's files. Selena dear, there's a chance that your daughter might have been a very bad girl. But at least it's a family trait.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> A bit weird to literally nearly destroy the root of the family power though.
<DeathStar> *Selena opens her eyes tiredly* <Selena> I just do not want to believe the worst of my own daughter. I know there have been suspicious occurances - Luna going missing while on an adventure and my parents dying in their sleep, despite the fact us Hapians according to Aska have very long lifespans thanks to our connection to her. I just do not believe she would try to kill me though

Yuki jerks and even Andrea is stunned by the power of the holy magic. Soren is knocked into the hanger as is Selena, Ymir, and Lumi*

<Seraphna> **Kaelan shadow hops behind the being and comes at her with Wyrd and Truth**
<DeathStar> *Taiga digs her heels in as an attack slams into the shield*
<DeathStar> *it turns; it looks to be completely spirit-tech based, but it's definitely wielding Aska's power*
<Seraphna> **Nox appears by Ren as she's falling and grabs her, warping onto the Aquarius**
<DeathStar> *it's head seems to be a mask*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan slams blades into it, striking at the tech for now till she cna determine where Aska is hidden in it**
<DeathStar> <Ren> Haaaaa. That attack actually hurt...really bad...and I'm not dark based... *her muscles spasm*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> You sick fuck did you use her core!?
<DeathStar> *the creature lifts it's hand up and unleashes a powerful holy blast right at Kaelan, the entire room beginning to shake when Shade appear and begins to fire a dark attack to try to counter it*
<DeathStar> <Shade> ARGH. YOU did WHAT?
<Seraphna> **Kaelan buckles down, Truth countering Holy with Holy to shield her as she slins Wyrd's whip head out at the thing to drain at it**
<DeathStar> *the creature jerks and begins to lose power*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan rushes in and grabs at the mask to tear it off**
<DeathStar> *Shinobu lands nearby and studies it*
<DeathStar> *under the mask is nothing but spirit tech circuits and cameras to "see"*
<DeathStar> *indicating this thing is completely non-alive practically*
<Seraphna> **Kaelan tries to sense where Aska is among the devices**
<DeathStar> *somewhere in the guts*
<Seraphna> **Truth bites into the machines side and starts to dig for it, as a blade at elast**

<Seraphna> **Kaelan puts her power behind it and with tendrils slams into the thing like a maniac tearing, letting it burn her**
<DeathStar> *more spirit fuid flies about as Kaelan reaches a core, attached to spirit-tech*

<Seraphna> **Kaelan coats her hand in Holy Moonlight and rips the core free** A remote core?

<Seraphna> **Kaelan nods and tendrils grab people** We'll use my tunnels, they'll be watching for Spirit Warps.

<DeathStar> *the group appears and see Aska laying on a table with spirit-tech attached to her, her chest open with her core missing, but a fake spirit-tech core in her to keep her alive and heathy. But the screen seem to be erroring now that the machine was busted up by the team and the scientists seem to be panicking to keep Aska alive and not fading away*
<DeathStar> *Violet seems to be observing all this and to her credit, she does seem to be worried*
<DeathStar> *but is it for the spirit, or for herself?*
<DeathStar> <Violet> Get the second machine out here or she'll die. Hurry.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> No need, I brought the core along, Violet.

<DeathStar> *Asarar and Bonnie go to grab her when suddenly the room is ripped up by a time anaomly, one appearing right there in the castle, it consuming, or perhaps just sucking Violet and a few of the scientist inside it. Asarar begins to get pulled in and Bonnie and Chelsea have to grab onto her*

<DeathStar> *She looks for something to grab her with as Asarar's daughter grabs onto Chelsea*

<Seraphna> **Kaealn tendrils them all back and frowns, anchoring herself**

<Seraphna> Kaelan> **peers over and joins Andrea**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And it seems it pulled that entire ship into a time portal, then sealed it so we could not follow them
<Seraphna> Nox> And then grabbed Jaime's group off somewhere. Maybe that's what's happening in Prime?
<Seraphna> Nox> Kind of a specific grouping to take.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> However, the time portal that consumed Selena's kid - I believe it also leads to the pocket reality. I think if we want any hope of closing the time portals, we need to go over there and deal with it. I'm not sure what their pocket reality is like, but .... it's our best shot
<DeathStar> <Andrea> The curse that is on Ren
<DeathStar> <Andrea> It's not one I can get rid of, only slow down. It's transforming her - incubating her to be exact. Something eldritch like is going to explode out of her when it's done. I don't know if she will survive the process.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> I'll do my best when the time comes but we need to come up with solutions.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> That alternate Alt had an Eldritch being with her too.
<DeathStar> *Taiga turns to look at the group* Yuki has agreed to fly us over there, so when the time comes we'll take a crew of people who are interested in going. And leave those who don't want any part of it behind here at the castle
<Seraphna> Kaelan> She might be our solution to fixing Ren.
<DeathStar> <Andrea> Right. It might be the same being then. If we can meet up with them again it might be helpful. Hopefully Ren can last until then
