<Seraphna> Jaime> I guess we should do that then. If this is really Mom’s past, let alone during the loop…
<DeathStar> *Adeline moves toward the city; it seems to be fallish as they move along. Gnome walking along and holding out her hands while Revi looks lost in thought* <Adeline> There is just one thing that bothers me either way

<DeathStar> *As they arrive in Tokyo proper, the people of the city seem to be moving about with their lives, paying them little mind. Revi looks around curiously while Adeline eyes her datapad still acting up, so she decides to go for a physical paper, paying for it and grabbing it*
<DeathStar> <Revi> This feels much like it does today. *she ponders* <Gnome> Maybe people like it that way?
<Seraphna> Jaime> I mean, maybe they expect me to break my own timeline?
<DeathStar> *Adeline studies the date* <Adeline> Tell me, did you notice anything odd about your mother?
<DeathStar> *Revi gets a few strange looks as people walk by, due to wearing her fox mask, while others stare at Gnome and comment on her being cute due to her small size*
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses** She had the streak.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Right. All the pictures you showed me of when she was young, she lacked such a feature. *she turns the date around* The year is 10-587. Long before you were even born. If I know my history right, this is the year that Jennifer shows up.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> She only got the streak after the Empress took her power away
<DeathStar> *Revi reaches up to her own hair*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Hmm. Do the first signs that the Light Engine was causing multiverse waves.
<Seraphna> Jaime> She came here on a test didn’t she?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I believe that is the case, yes.
<Seraphna> Jaime> So we were sent back before the fracture.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It may be a coincidence were sent back to this point, or this was the weakest point in the the "time loop" we could be inserted
<DeathStar> <Adeline> After all, the Prime Universe was meant to be impossible to conduct time travel after the you know who incident
<Seraphna> Jaime> Hmm… so we’d have to find a way back to the mirrorverse.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Yes, but I have absolutely no idea or means to do it. Unless you want to live through 100+ years of history and even that might not work
<DeathStar> <Adeline> If we're stuck in Erevis' timeloop, we might just start over again

<DeathStar> <Adeline> The hair. If Erevis has the white streak in her hair at this point in time, you would think all photos and memories would have changed to incorporate such a thing, but that hasn't happened. So only two scenarios could be occurring in my mind
<Seraphna> Jaime> Alternate reality or a trick?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Right, an alternate reality would have formed around such a thing, but I think scenario B likely happened. The time loop was literal - to prevent time travel from occurring, Erevis has been in a closed circuit from point A to B in a sort of closed reality, a pocket reality like those people from that other Mirror Geyze
<Seraphna> Jaime> But… how did they become the new Constants if so?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Fate probably could answer these questions better. Or maybe Erevis herself - she voluntarily entered the timeloop when we last saw her, Megumi, and Xanatos to go through their lives again and again, but who is to say their memories were wiped each time they went through this loop

<DeathStar> *Adeline walks in the direction of Erevis' place, while keeping an eye out for others, glancing down at her datapad where it still is acting up due to the time field*

<DeathStar> *Revi lags behind following them, slower than even Gnome, who runs ahead of them, arms spread out*

<DeathStar> *As they near Erevis' Tokyo residence, a fog begins to settle in, Silent Hill style it feels like. Adeline notices a figure as they approach the residence, and she lifts her hand up* Someone seems to be in the yard, I think
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well this is getting weirder.
<DeathStar> *Gnome bumps into Jikuu outside the house* EEE
<Seraphna> Jaime> Sis, are you making fog?
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I do not believe that is one of her abilities
<DeathStar> *Adeline looks around* But is Tokyo known for it's fog?
<Seraphna> Jaime> I don't think so.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "No, I thought it was natural. Unusual, but natural."

<Seraphna> **Jaime sighs and knocks on the door**
<DeathStar> *After a moment, the door creaaaaks open and two eyes shine at them through the fog; cat eyes*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Megumi Momma.
<DeathStar> *Gnome and Revi have moved behind Jaime*
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Is she really that scary?"
<DeathStar> <Megumi> .... *peers at them all, then quietly opens the door further to allow them inside, creeping inside and moving to a spot in the living room to act all huffy*
<Seraphna> Jaime> I am going to accept some answers on the fact that she didn't question me calling her Momma.
<DeathStar> *Erevis appears to be in the kitchen; also in the house, though in various places, appears to be Ariel, a young Aya, as well as the first generation Terra who is visiting. The entire house seems to be quite busy when they arrive. Erevis glances back at them stepping inside as Erevis looks to be cooking something and indeed it appears she has a white streak in her hair*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Megumi - Kitten. Can you take over the cooking chores for me. *she grabs a rag and begins to dry her hands off, then motions at the group that has arrived to follow her outside into the court yard*

<DeathStar> *Adeline follows after Jaime, with Revi and Gnome having moved behind Jikuu since she seems brave*
<DeathStar> *Erevis steps outside where various training set ups for Eevis and Ariel are strown about. Erevis sits down, adjusting her kimono, and faces the group that has arrived; the fog thankfully seems to not have touched the courtyard*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Hello Momma.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I believe I indicated you should not be here - little ones. But --- *she lets the word hang in the air for just a moment, before a faint smile appears on her face, closing her eyes* It is good to see you Jaime - Jikuu. I have missed you both very much
<Seraphna> **Jaime smiles** We're not here intentionally Momma, another Eldritch is being... naughty.

<DeathStar> *Erevis opens her eyes* I see. I was wondering how you all managed to appear in such a place.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Indeed, and the real puzzle for us is how we get back. They are likely causing a mess, and on my little Terra's world.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes. I imagine you would want to return as quickly as possible. It should not be too much of a problem to do so. The real problem is to return you to the correct point in time.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I... at the risk of sounding selfish... I am in no rush."
<DeathStar> *Erevis muses, studying Jikuu. She seems to be quietly glancing over her, as if taking in something* Then you do not need to worry too much. Time is meaningless here in the loop for many reasons.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Momma, this is Revi. She is yours through Xevil. I’ve taken her in as the littlest sister.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> *laughs, almost heartily* Why certainly - for this one time loop. Everything will just reset in the end. So in the end, it will not matter if you stay. *she turns to Revi* Ah, Xevil. *she seems to hide her thoughts well, showing no real emotion* I hope you learn well from Jaime then, Revi

<Alicia> <Jikuu> "At least Xevil did one thing right."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes, I suppose that is true. Let me go prepare some rooms for you girls. Jaime, come with me. *She stands up, glancing at Jikuu as she steps out, musing on something; Revi watching her go*

<Seraphna> **Jaime follows her**
<DeathStar> *Erevis turns her head* Fog?
<Alicia> <Victoire> "Ah, it's foggy outside."
<Seraphna> Jaime> It was collecting outside.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Megumi dear, let me know the situation outside while I see to their rooms
<DeathStar> *Megumi stands up from the holovid and crawls for the door*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Is the fog and the chromatic energy connected, or is the chromatic energy always like that...

<DeathStar> *Revi fiddles with her hands, glancing at Jikuu and Victoire*

<DeathStar> <Adeline> Time energy. This entire world is filled with nothing but time energy. It's like flooded with it
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Jaime. *she begins to prepare the guest rooms* What happened after I left? Jikuu was filled with energy and now she seems .... very low energy. *she says diplomatically*
<Alicia> <Victoire> "...lets say she reacted badly to something Lenneth did."

<Seraphna> Jaime> I think we let her shoulder leadership too soon. After a while Isis stepped in and took her space till she’s ready again.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Lenneth did do something to test if we were ready at great cost to herself.

<DeathStar> *Erevis glances back at Jikuu, then Jaime, giving her an apologetic smile* And none of you have sat down to discuss the test with each other?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Lenneth and I squared away about 80 years ago.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> That is well - but I am sensing Jikuu has not squared away everything yet
<Seraphna> Jaime> We give her her time.

<DeathStar> *Erevis quietly prepares the room* I will wager a guess at this test. It had something to do with loyalities.
<Seraphna> Jaime> She has not had my many experiences with such family foils. And then there is Grandmother.

<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I guess that is accurate."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I cannot read her mind or where her heart is at, but I believe I know why she would do such a thing. Lenneth and I both had such things done to us and were caught off guard to the point we were almost horribly destroyed

<Seraphna> Jaime> Big sis always looks out for me.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Well, if she was trying to teach me to trust no-one..."
<Alicia> <Victoire> "And then of course, Jikuu tried to run everything solo. Well, practically solo."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I do not know if she was seeking that, no, she probably wanted to prepare you in a situation she engineered where you could not be hurt, so that could be made aware of what could happen. And she blundered by making you trust no one. And I am positive she has felt guilty since, knowing her
<DeathStar> *Erevis kneels by everyone, brushing Jikuu's hair* But taking on everything is a trait I understand all too well.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Even when I was doing half of it with her. **plays with Jikuu’s hair too** She’s one of us.
<Alicia> <Victoire> "Feeling responsible for everything is probably a weakness... but I can't say I don't like her for it. Or understand it, honestly. When people mean something to you, even an abstract 'people', the thought of them getting hurt... hurts."
<Seraphna> Jaime> I know the feeling. But Inoersobally relish the ability to have control of our destiny.

<DeathStar> *Erevis seems to be considering something, as if waging a war with herself*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Tomorrow, I am going to try to bring all of us to the end of the time loop - I have never purposely tried to speed through it before. That will mean arriving at 10-660. When you two had recently become the new Empresses. By arriving there, I can help Jaime get out of the time loop, but I can also make you an offer, Jikuu, if you feel you cannot get past this.

<DeathStar> <Erevis> I can essentially help her step back into the timeline of her past self and make different choices while she still retains knowledge of what is to come.

<DeathStar> <Erevis> Ah! *she brightens and leans forward, studying Astra closer, then pulls Astra into a hug, practically smothering her face into her chest* It is good to meet you
<DeathStar> *Revi watches as Erevis pampers Astra, pulling the girl next to her and feeding her steamed ham*
<Seraphna> **Jaime scooches Revi closer to Erevis**
<DeathStar> *Revi blinks as she does that and begins to fluster, pulling her mask back down*
<DeathStar> *Erevis glances at Revi* She is quite timid, is she not? *it appears Erevis does not know how to process that*
<Alicia> * Astra happily eats.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I am helping her with that. She was not socialized much as a young one.
<DeathStar> *Megumi and Gnome sneakily steal Jaime's food while she is distracted*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I suppose one can say a lot of the Zhenmei's lack social cues and skills

<DeathStar> *Megumi makes a face, since it took her years to win Erevis over*
<Seraphna> **Jaime fluffs Megumi’s ears**
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Do not worry too much Astra. I have decided over the years that being one's self is always the best course. It is does not mean one should not strive to improve, but you should only do it for yourself, not others.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Granted, if you are in a partnership, growth toward each other is vital then. *she watches Megumi lean into the pets*
<DeathStar> *outside in the courtyard, the creepy fog has begun to show up even there and Erevis studies it*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It feels like this fog is trying to cut us off from the world almost

<DeathStar> <Erevis> I am afraid we cannot wait for tomorrow. *She stands up* I will begin preperations to attempt to jump us to the end of the time loop tonight
<Seraphna> Jaime> Alright then…
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Do not worry. If this is successful, we should escape this fog and have a breather again
<DeathStar> *Erevis moves out of the room and Adeline watches her go* <Adeline> I think she is worried
<DeathStar> *Megumi follows Erevis*
<Seraphna> Jaime> We all are.
<DeathStar> *Erevis returns a few minutes later wearing tactical armor of that era; Megumi wearing her Famfrit armor. Both of them have their hair pulled up in ponytails*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Alright, this is what I will be attempting to do
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Let us hope it works. It may sound cruel, but Kyouki was my one link outside of the time loop. Even going into this place, I maintained a connection with my Kyouki so I never lost myself completely - just to be safe when reliving the loops again and again.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I am going to focus on that link to see if I cannot pull us along this place toward the end.
<DeathStar> *Erevis begins to focus, glowing with hyperspace. At first nothing seems to happen, then a bit like Revi, the hyperspace seems to begin to glow dark, as if dark energy is surging through it, then the hyperspace seems to jump to everyone in the room and engulf them, but instead of burning them, the group would feel themselves being eaten almost*

<DeathStar> <Adeline> I think your mother did it. *she looks around, then looks up at the PAX flying in the sky*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well… closer now. But wow that was a ride.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> That is a sight I have not seen in a while
<DeathStar> *Erevis pulls herself to her feet, looking for Jikuu, Victoire, and Astra*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> How do you feel? *she asks Jaime*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Like something tried to eat us.
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "That was strange."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Apologies, I tapped into my Dark Element through Kyouki
<DeathStar> *Revi shifts behind Jaime, peering at Erevis*
<Alicia> <Astra> "Is that why so many Dark Ones are so hungry?"
<DeathStar> *Erevis pauses, then laughs* Maybe
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm. Now we must figure out our way past the loop and forward a century.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Either way, we are near the end of my time in this time loop before everything gets sent back. Kyouki will likely be needed again for this, but while we are here at this moment
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Jikuu - you need to consider my offer from earlier. The second we break out of the time loop I will not be able to do what I said before.
<DeathStar> *as they talk, a light fog has begun to creep into the city*

<DeathStar> *Erevis nods and she pulls Jikuu against her, then pulls Victoire against her as well, holding both of them in one arm as she lifts the other against the air*

<DeathStar> *she points at the fog*
<Seraphna> Jaime> It followed us.
<Alicia> <Astra> "Do I have to join?"
<DeathStar> *Erevis's hand glows with hyperspace energy, then begins to cackle with dark energy, likely once again borrowed from Kyouki* <Erevis> Do you want to change your history as well? If not, then simply continue to journey with us.
<Alicia> <Astra> "I'm fine, I think."
<DeathStar> *Erevis turns to Jikuu and Vict* I wish you to know that I love you both - live as you wish and follow your hearts. If you do change history completely and make a new reality, I will seek you out and find you so that you can be brought back to us. So live freely and openly. *She seems to burst a hole in the wall and gently pushes the two through, even as the fog begins to follow*
