<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> The Suisen is going to host a thing with the Dark Ones and the Progenitors soon, but until recently your peoples have been like in eternal war with each other. If Jikuu hadn't like, gotten the two sides to talk it out, who knows what would have happened. So you have any ideas what sort of delegation I should make?
<Jackieness> <Noire> *moves over to the sofa and reclines* "Explain this summit to me."
<DeathStar> *Ren grabs some glasses and puts it on* Well, from what I understand, it'll involve the Progenitor's leader Azora - Erevis' grandmother. And it'll have Bobbi, your Dark Ones' defactor leader. And Erevis will be present to help out as well for the Suisen side
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Now then explain the summit goals and what you need from a delegation."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Well - my main focus is security. I think their goals is to make sure both sides continue their peaceful relations though. We wouldn't want them to fall back into old habits and start killing each other. *Ren rubs the back of her ear* I still have no idea how we avoided out right war to be honest
<DeathStar> *Lenneth steps into the club room, holding a stack of papers*
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> Noire.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm...focus upon the now. You should assemble a delegation made up of representatives of the other species so that they are reminded that they are not off on an island above it all."
<Jackieness> <Noire> *glances over* "Mmmmmm?"
<DeathStar> *Lenneth holds out the papers* Your mother wanted me to pass this out during the upcoming meetings
<Jackieness> <Noire> "..my mother?" *moves to lok at the papers*
<DeathStar> *it has baby pictures of Noire/Reikana's on them, scanned on to them from Andrea's collection of baby pictures* <Lenneth> She said passing these around would bring both sides together.
<DeathStar> *Ren slowly reaches over and grabs one*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...if these are passed around, I will take an action that will result in an apocalyptic galactic conflict... bear that in mind."
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> We've had peace for 100 years. I don't see you being the one to break that up
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> But I will keep the pictures here
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmm...good."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Come on, Noire. *She stands up* Lets go for a walk and take a look at both sides before you get wild up and start throwing fire balls and becoming the big bad
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...very well." *stands*
<DeathStar> *Ren and Lenneth walk along the halls of the PAX* <Ren> So reports have been coming in to me. It appears that the Cartel has been having some set backs under Spade. <Lenneth> Hm. *she looks a little bit like she has something on her mind* Jikuu made a few plays early on that cut off a lot of their plans I feel
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> The Cartel likely won't forget that in the end, but they can't do a lot about it in the position they're in
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...and what exactrly have they been up to?"
<DeathStar> *Lenneth pulls out some files* <Lenneth> We know they were planning to expand into the Outer Regions; they were originally meant to be footing the bill with the Suisen on the hyperspace pathways out there, but before the operations truly began, the deals were canceled and the Suisen footed most the bill. It hurt to begin with but it meant in the end that we were fully in control.
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> So it stunted their reach out there
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And why the sudden about-face?"
<DeathStar> *Lenneth taps her cheek* You know, I asked Jikuu something along those lines once and she indicated she had little trust for Spade. But I decided to just trust her gut. After all, I believe she had developed a new psionic ability - foresight. She seemed to know what I was planning once
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm...it doesn't explain why they got cold feet. The cartel is driven on profitability. Missied opportunites do not add to the balance sheet."
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> Oh, the Cartel attempted to do their own type of version of it years later, but by then they were behind us.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Which was an unnecessarily risky move since they couldn't split the bill with the Suisen. I am looking for motivations."
<DeathStar> *the group arrives where the delegates are being kept on the PAX - the Dark Ones on one part of the floor and the Progenitors on another part. In the middle area seems to be the common area and Bobbi and Azora are currently standing there*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Hm, only Jikuu and Spade could answer why the deal fell apart. Maybe Erevis
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...then I shall ask later."
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> Noire. *she turns her head toward her*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Aunt Bobbi."
<DeathStar> *Azora turns to look at Lenneth, nodding her head* <Azora> Child of Erevis.
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> You know, one of these days Noire, you should really work for me
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmm...I enjoy being an independent contractor, as it were."
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> Ah. If you ever get bored of learning that old stuff from your mother and get in line to be the next Dark One ruler, let me know. You have a smart head on your shoulder and the will to lead our people
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I shall take it under consideration."
<DeathStar> <Azora> We were discussing possible ways for our people to come together due to the fact they have become so different now
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And what has been discussed?"
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> Well, it keeps coming down to the fact they're practically emotionless drones and we are too emotional in their eyes
<DeathStar> <Azora> My people are very closed off
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmmm? And is my stoicism not proof that stereotypes need not be absolute?"
<DeathStar> <Azora> It is true. You would be a good example to meet with them. Many of my people still recall the Dark Ones who are wild as beasts.
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> There are some tribes like that, but you paint a broad brush now
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I can say from experience that at the very least not all progenitors are emotionless. Stoic and hard to read, yes, emotionless no."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "And in my experience...the Nue can be quite emotion driven."
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "True."
<DeathStar> *Azora and Bobbi turn to look at Jikuu* <Azora> Ah, my child. *she offers a smile* <Bobbi> Plus look at Jikuu. She is both a Dark One and a Progenitor
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Not exactly, but close enough."
<DeathStar> *Lenneth steps up to Jikuu and rubs her head*
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> How are you feeling today?
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "A little nervous, but otherwise well."
<DeathStar> *she holds a datapad in the other hand* Well, everything seems to be going well. This is a historic moment. <Bobbi> Well - despite how many years ago we were fighting each other, I do not think either side will start a fight now. <Azora> No, I think my people are tired of such things
<DeathStar> <Azora> We just ... are not quite sure how to take that first step.
<DeathStar> <Ren> Hm. *she turns to Noire*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Hmmmmm
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Mutual understanding is the goal, but it is always hard."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Mmmmm?"
<DeathStar> <Ren> Noire is right - she is a lot like a Progenitor in some ways. Well, until she berserks and tries to eat a planet.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I ate that planet because it had been Dark Seeded."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Maybe we should do it like a high school dance and bring everyone out so they can meet both sides
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I have never seen Noire even close to berserk."
<DeathStar> <Lenneth> How...does one fit a planet into their stomach anyway?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Perhaps we should test the waters first before throwing everyone into one room."
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> You are thinking invite just a few from each side?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "First we do as was suggested... we send an emotional Progenitor to meet with our people, while I introduce myself to the Progenitors."
<DeathStar> <Ren> Should I play some music? <Lenneth> This really isn't a dance, Ren
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "As much as I like the idea of music, I get the feeling people are tied up on the dance thing."
<DeathStar> *Azora bows* Allow me to find someone that will fit what you need. I will return in a moment, Jikuu
<DeathStar> *she steps away*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "This is a dipomatic affair. Treat it like a minefield."
<DeathStar> <Ren> You make it sound like a war. <Lenneth> It can be sometimes depending on who you are dealing with - but since both sides are trying to come to an understanding I do not think we have to be hostile thankfully
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "We should still be careful."
<Jackieness> <Noire> "But still, care must be taken. There are always those who would prefer to stay with what they know rather than risk a new peace."
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> That is true. This could end with both our races being too scared to reach out and the Progenitors deciding to go back to where they came from for another 10,000 years
<Jackieness> <Noire> "This initial outreach is intended to smooth away any lingering prejudices due to the traditional stereotypes."
<DeathStar> *Azora returns with a Progenitor - their energy form is inside what looks to be a young woman in their mid-30's, blonde hair and blue eyes. They walk up to the group a bit stiffly*
<DeathStar> <Azora> This is Aura. <Aura> It is a pleasure to meet you. *she replies slowly*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *gives a nod*
<DeathStar> *Aura pauses, then mimics the nod; while they are talking, the Erevis of this reality has come in and been watching all of this and observing Jikuu proudly it seems*
<Seraphna> **Jaime pops in and stretches**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Make the arrangements for this outreach."
<Seraphna> Jaime> How’s it going? I figured with Jikuu handling this I could look at other matters.
<DeathStar> <Aura> Um, this may be rude, but may I ask a question?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Go ahead."
<DeathStar> *Erevis motions at Jikuu, signaling she would like to talk to her privately with Jaime in the side room*
<DeathStar> <Aura> I heard that Dark Ones run around naked, especially during battle or after a victory. Is it true?
<Seraphna> **Jaime pops
<Alicia> * Jikuu heads over
<DeathStar> *Bobbi coughs on a drink*
<Seraphna> **into the other room
<Jackieness> <Noire> *closes her eyes* "...mother..."
<DeathStar> *Erevis closes the doors to the side room once the three are in; she moves like that reality's Erevis until the doors are closed, then seems to slump a bit, revealing what appears to be a wound.* Jikuu....
<DeathStar> <Bobbi> I mean.... it is something a few do, but not all....
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns and looks over the wound**
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I did not carefully curate this look to toss it off at the drop of a hat."
<DeathStar> *Erevis leans against Jaime* We been looking for you for a while - Jikuu. I see you have done well for yourself
<DeathStar> <Aura> I-I see. I apolgoize for my rude question then
<Seraphna> **Jaime starts working on patching it**
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "What happened?"
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Put aside such notions and hearsay. Approach your duties with an open mind."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... Very well, let me tell you what has occurred since we last saw each other
<DeathStar> -SHIFT-

<DeathStar> Location: Ruined Risokyo
<DeathStar> *the group's powers seem to be draining consistently since arriving, the large Unknown creatures, more massive versions of the one being they faced briefly a few months back, floating in space above the city can be seen, though looking at them causes severe pain. Space itself looks to be torn by something, and the stars are being pulled in toward some gape in the universe*
<DeathStar> *Gnome
<DeathStar> *Gnome's form flickers just being in this place while Revi shakes Erevis, trying to wake her*
<DeathStar> <Revi> What is going on? *she looks around the destroyed city*
<Seraphna> **Jaime works to keep her stable** I don’t know but we need to be elsewhere.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> .... *shakes her head* This is suppose to be the right year....
<DeathStar> *Erevis seems groggy*
<Seraphna> Jaime> The timeline must have changed somehow.
<DeathStar> *Adeline looks to be shifting through the rubble*
<DeathStar> *finally grabbing a datapad and yanking it out, she attempts to power it up*
<Seraphna> **Jaime pulls Gnome into herself to sustain her**
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Come on... come on... *she seems to be trying to link to the holonet, but every attempt seems to fail* There is no holonet...
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I can't find the exact date, but this datapad seems to have last been linked 10-675.7. something.
<Seraphna> Jaime> I think we can safely assume we are in the post part of an apocalypse. We need distance or to get to the archive data storage.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> That's just .... that's just 7 months away
<Seraphna> Jaime> Let’s hope we overshot the present and this is what happens if we screw up then.
<DeathStar> *Fate looks out into the void of space* <Fate> ...
<DeathStar> <Fate> We need to becareful, there's still stuff alive out there
<Alicia> <Astra> "...I'd actually be more afraid if there wasn't."
<Seraphna> Jaime> Stuff you lock into?
<DeathStar> *as Fate says this, Jaime would feel something heading for them - as if it senses their powers that haven't fully been snuffed out*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Shit I think I know what that is.
<DeathStar> <Revi> What..what is it?
<Seraphna> **Jaime readies her sword and frowns** Soketging that feeds off broken time, drains powers and eliminates all. The thing we thought we killed twice.
<Seraphna> Jaime> We need to get somewhere else or hop again.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> .... *moves Astra a bit behind her, worried for her safety*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> ... *looks like she wants to remain and figure out what happened here*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Addy, your fortress preserved by any chance?
<DeathStar> *but even as she says that, the ground shakes as if something landed among the debris and the group, despite not seeing anything, can feel something among the city. Moving. Near them, debris is knocked aside*
<Seraphna> **Jaime pulls her close**
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It is possible. We would need to teleport underground.
<DeathStar> *Fate seems to focus and look them grabs her head in pain* There is somethign up ahead...monsterous
<Seraphna> Jaime> **feels for a marker she would have set up**
<Alicia> <Astra> "Is it safer down there?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> Shiejd your minds. Anywhere is safer than here.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> We will have to take our chances. *Jaime manages to lock on*
<Seraphna> **Jaime teleports them all**
<DeathStar> *more debris is knocked aside as it becomes obvious it is right before them*
<DeathStar> *and then poof they are underground, the power flickering on with emergency lights*
<DeathStar> *Adeline moves to try to pull up what information she can*
<Seraphna> Jaime> That means the generator is intact. If we have time I can power the core.
<DeathStar> *Erevis looks around - the group would find their powers are still slowly dwindling*
<Seraphna> Jaime> If we get the shields up maybe we can cancel the drain. **she moves to check**
<DeathStar> *there seems to be various shields that Jaime could put up that might can stop it or slow it*
<DeathStar> *whatever it may be*
<DeathStar> *Erevis sits beside Astra*
<DeathStar> *she seems to be focused, her eyes closed - using her powers or whatever they remain to look for Jikuu and Victoire*
<Seraphna> **Jaime gets it started and tries to find the wavelength where the drain stops** Chronometer, love?
<DeathStar> *Adeline glances at her datapad* The chronometer is still pretty high. So even escaping the time loop, something is still going on. Interesting. *she pauses as the screen pops up with footage* Alright, I think I got something
<DeathStar> *the screen shows footage from all the various worlds - it appears that monsters like the Unknown suddenly began to attack, much like Fate described and simply began to overrun all the ships of every race with ease - and on ground they began to simply appear out of nowhere and slaughtering armies*
<DeathStar> *the fact that no one could look at them directly without frying their brain was not helping either it appears*
<DeathStar> *however, early into the invasion, right over Risokyo, a rip in space - literally occurs, and suddenly the creatures began to float there and die it appears. At the same time all commuications around the universe seem to just stop*
<DeathStar> *the creatures that didn't get caught up and Adeline's personal cameras manage to catch seem to act confused, like they are unable to lock onto targets anymore*
<Seraphna> Jaime> That Eldritch thing. She caused this.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> Maybe....
<DeathStar> *Adeline seems to be studying the data*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> According to this data, those Unknown beings were attacking and someone launched an attack
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It looks like they used chronoparticles and something else - because right after that attack, my sensors indicate that is when everyone's powers began to drain and those creatures "died", either from the chrono attack or the drainage. Either way it left a rip in space as we can see
<DeathStar> <Revi> But who would do that?
<Alicia> <Astra> "...can we leave?"
<Seraphna> Jaime> When we were facing that girl, there was a similar drain. I think that at elast might be her.
<Seraphna> Jaime> She was gathering power to summon some Mistress.
<DeathStar> *as Astra says that, suddenly something busts through the shields, and seems to be in the base*
<Seraphna> Jaime> I think we have to leave.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mother, ready for another leap?
<DeathStar> *with the team's power recharged, the group would sense multiple things in the base with them now*
<DeathStar> <Fate> Yes - I feel as if the creatures are hungry and we are the last people with power ,...
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes, I think I have located Jikuu and Victoire
<DeathStar> *she stands up* <Erevis> Gather around me
<Seraphna> **Jaime moves close, wrapoing an arm protectively around Adeline**
<Alicia> * Astra practically clings
<DeathStar> *Revi touches Erevis when suddenly something stabs Erevis in the side; she lifts her hand to blast whatever it is away from the group, since they are clinging to her*
<DeathStar> *Adeline looks around* Damn
<Seraphna> **Jaime throws a force of power out at the thign to drive it back**
<DeathStar> *Fate steps forward and begins to stand there and gather her power to drive thigns back*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Let us.... go forth now... *she warps out with those holding on*

<DeathStar> *Revi glances about and Adeline cautiously grabs a datapad to see the news*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It's a few months back even from our own timeline
<Alicia> <Astra> "Please no eaters..."
<DeathStar> <Adeline> It looks like.... the Dark Ones and Progenitors are making peace
<DeathStar> *Adeline turns to look around the city* Not only making peace, there was no war
<DeathStar> *Erevis leans back against the wall, holding her side*
<DeathStar> *Revi looks plae as Adeline seems to be reading the datapad and going through it*
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns and works on the wound**
<Seraphna> Jaime> Should be easy enough to find a Jikuu reality Jennifer or Cuddles for you.
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I wouldn't worry about the Eaters. If I had to guess, they're just in the Prime Universe right now. Plus, it looks like there has been no major incidents in this reality .... since ever. Infact, Erevis still is around here
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I will be alright. I should remind you that I am made of sterner stuff.
<DeathStar> *she glances up at the PAX floating about in the air near the capital building*
<Seraphna> Jaime> That is still made of soft bits Mother.
<DeathStar> *Erevis pats Jaime's head*

<DeathStar> *Aura jerks a bit at Kaelan, looking at her, then peers at Noire* I think they would feel at ease around them
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Did you find what you were looking for at least?
<Jackieness> <Noire> "MMmmm...and speaking of...this is KAelan. She is the naked partying sort."
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "I think so."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Hey girl.

<DeathStar> *there, they begin to lay siege to cities and take out ships with no clear way to stop them until whatever causes the tear in space, freezing everything and shocking the Unknown in place, taking legions of them out and then the power drain begins to occur, which begins to cause the remaining ones to look lost and confused*
