The large magi ship flies through the air as they near their destination. Selena stands on the deck of the air ship, clouds passing by*

<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh..I think I could build one when we get back."
<@DeathStar> <Selena> Didn't you already send the others off to have it done?
<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "Gotta admit, these ships have a certain style."
<@DeathStar> <Shin> ... *she cranes her head back to study the air ship* This is more stylish than the "space" ships of our era?
<@Jackieness> <Noire> "Ahhhhh? well... spacecraft have to make some sacrifices for the whole...you know... lack of atmosphere problem."

<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "I don't think I'm the one to ask about which is MORE stylish, just that this has it's charm."
<@DeathStar> <Zayne> From what little I could tell, this era mostly relies on these types of magi air crafts. Though as we have witnessed, they do seem capable of building ships like the Draíocht that can fly in space. But they do not seem numerous

<@DeathStar> *Rika, further up on the deck, turns around* Everyone. Crimore is almost in sight
<@DeathStar> *up ahead, a massive landmass can be seen floating in the air*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> *whispers* "...remember...this is the center of everything."
<@DeathStar> *the ground seems to be quite far up off the ground - the size of it expands further than any island and the ground seems to have just about everything eco wise with beaches and lakes and rivers. And most of all, on the land mass is a massive city expanding throughout it*
<@Ariel> * Nicolette whistles. This floating island is rather impressive.
<@Alicia> <Yoiyami> "I really want to know how you did this."
<@DeathStar> *Crimore's city looks to, by far, the most advanced magi-tech city the group has encountered so far - as they near it, one can see by having this massive landmass in the air, Crimore is able to use the eco system to perform their own magic experiments in a variety of different regions, as the land looks very different, having forest areas and desert regions, all of them having looking to have magi-tech and places where stuff seems to be happening*
<@DeathStar> <Rika> Gavin probably knows more but from what I've been told, they used a specialized magi-tech in the earth to lift it up into the sky.
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "As much as Iwould like to take a look... we have bigger concerns."
<@DeathStar> <Rika> People come here from all over to conduct experiments at their academies. *the ship begins to come in and starts to land in the main city* Indeed, we have to get in touch with the people in charge about the Creation Machine and what their plans are before Greborlg or another Kingdom does something they can't take back
<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "Yeah. It's definitely a serious flash point..." She frowns a little, knowing that they can't really stop it.
<@DeathStar> *Selena looks around as the airship lands in a private airport among other ships and Gavin finally steps out and joins the team* <Gavin> We are going to head out to conduct business. Now that you all are here, what do you plan to do?

<@Jackieness> <Lana> *looks at Selena* "Ahhh...well...we do have one problem that is unanswered...the saboteur on Kumen."
<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "Honestly, we're in pretty similar situations. I think the most important thing we can learn is how they came by how to make the creation machine, and how they intend to use it."
<@Alicia> <Yoiyami> "That, among other reasons, is why I want to check the library."
<@DeathStar> <Gavin> I brought some .... people from the facility. *her motions at the Knights, bringing Tanya* So we can get to the bottom of that
<@DeathStar> <Gavin> If we learn nything about the situation, I will be sure to pass it onto you. As for the Creation Machine, I believe the talks are too high level for your group to hear. I apologize. My leaders will just not let just anyone in

<@DeathStar> <Selena> So we should go for the library like Yoiyami has in mind then

<@DeathStar> *true to the word, Gavin sets off and leads the team into the city*
<@Ariel> * Nicolette ponders... knowing that the information she's after will be behind closed doors.
<@DeathStar> *the large city looks to be massive and almost all of it looks to be run by magi-tech. Some of the designs have some designs of what can be seen in Counter Geyze - as they walk the streets, magi-tech controls the flow of traffic and monitors things to make sure nothing happens in the air or on the ground level. There also appears to be a lot of magi-tech teleportation devices to help people move quicker from place to place. As they pass the park areas, it looks like it used to help keep everything in order even down to how much nutrients are needed for flowers. Zayne walks along, eyeing things as they travel, and up ahead is a massive tower and next to it is a large building - the building looks to be the library*

<@DeathStar> *stepping into the library, it appears to be massive - but to get inside it appears one must be "checked" in with magical scanners. A bored looking student sits at the entrance, holding a tome*

<@DeathStar> <Verdant> Do we have the time to be coming here though?
<@DeathStar> *Verdant looks uneasy*
<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "I think you'd know best about that."
<@Alicia> <Yoiyami> "Unless you want me to go sneak in and spy on the meeting, this is the best we can do."
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Admittedly... with just the security in the librayr, I imagine infiltrating the magi tower would be enarly impossible."

<@DeathStar> <Zayne> Opening Keeper doors, asking to come along to a dangerous zone, whispering suspiciously
<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "I mean, there is, and she knows. But we're also not looking to get in the way and cause trouble, so let's try to keep it that way."

<@DeathStar> *the group would find themselves after stepping through inside the massive library, surrounded by both physical tomes and what looks like the ability to tap into digital forms of them using the magi-tech, using a terminal*
<@DeathStar> *the digital forms allowing the tomes to be translated to the language of their choice in their heads*
<@Alicia> * Yoiyami practically dances around the library, looking for all sorts of information
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh...mana-powered sigital terminals."
<@Ariel> * Nicolette hrms, and decides to do a quick search for news articles about the creation machine. If nothing else, she might be able to learn who came up with it.
<@DeathStar> *various people are moving around grabbing various books - many of them studying ancient stuff - a lot of it looks to be quite old magic that looks to have been around for who knows how old. Yoiyami dancing around would see books on ancient magic arts that simply don't exist anymore, a lot of it on various creation magic theories and skills and on how to input it from everything from things like basic magic to tranformation magic to advanced theory magic*

<@DeathStar> *there does seem to be some articles made on the Creation Machine recently - it looks to be based on the Creation Magic formulas used in this time period, but somehow the creator, a person named Alaric took the formulas of creating things from something from nothing into reality and somehow then went a step further to strengthen the magic output beyond normal means of what creation magic normally can produce*
<@DeathStar> *there also seems to be a ton of articles on Alaric - it looks like he has done a ton of magic research and creation before the Machine*
<@DeathStar> *Zayne flips through, adding various Creation words to her vocabulary*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh..this is odd...it generates more outputs than inputs. Its a violation of the law of thermodynamics." *pushes her glasses up* "You might think 'this is magic', but magic still has its limits. Its why rituals and spell components exist."

<@Alicia> * Yoiyami seems more interested in the theory, but also considers picking up books on unique styles
<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "I'm expecting it pulls energy from somewhere else, not nowhere."
<@Alicia> <Yoiyami> "Probably. The other possibility is perpetual motion."
<@DeathStar> <Zayne> Creation Magic at it's core seems odd if you think about it. I am curious if some of the books in this time period explain how it works.
<@DeathStar> <Zayne> If you write in the Creation language fire, you can produce flame. It is as if the language itself produced it. I also noticed the paper and drawing of Gavin produced magic itself

<@DeathStar> *It seems to go over the theory of creation magic - and where does mana and magic originate. Alaric formulates that the source of magic comes from somewhere and that magic taps into that source and Creation Magic itself allows one to learn how to create magic much like the original source. Yoiyami would then be hit with complicated formulas of Alaric breaking down how he came to understand his way to making Creation Magic*

<@DeathStar> *Lana's boobs book breaks it down to by trying to understand where magic came form, Alaric sought out trying to create magic by learning key phrases and devices to bring out magic without needing to draw from mana or the original source*

<@DeathStar> <Lavenza> This book goes into how the Keepers seem to be a strange race from beyond the stars that have have made an Alliance with the Tirent Kingdom. It goes into describing that they claim to want to help make a being that can protect planets from threat from beyond the stars.

<@DeathStar> <Zayne> That is true. The way the book describes, it almost makes it sound...

<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Is there anythign about the threat in the book?"
<@DeathStar> *Yoiyami would find quite a lot of information on mana and leylines throughout the library; it appears that Geyze and Kumen are both mana rich planets and depending on where they are in the solar system the mana levels rise and or fall a bit, with each of the worlds having more or less compared to the other. However, only the one person put into theory that there has to be a mana source from which all of this comes from, judging by how it rises and falls but never runs out it seems like*

Selena glances around and sees it is now moored in what looks to be the Keeper Temple as planned, and the team has been working on constructing it into an airship as ordered. It looks complete, but is it? And is the Keeper Temple enough to protect the ship?*

<@DeathStar> *Selena moves up the steps to the tower and steps in, and asks the people in the front lobby area if she can speak to Rika. They move off to retrieve her*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> *looks around*
<@DeathStar> *it appears to be rather normal looking, but in the back there does seem to be those teleport scanners that can be seen in the library. After a bit, Rika walks down through out holding a device, studying it and joins them* <Rika> I didn't expect to see you all again any time soon. <Selena> I was wondering if you learned anything from that girl.

<@DeathStar> <Rika> Well, she did hand over something that we been studying
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh?"
<@DeathStar> <Rika> Said that she 'found it'. Many of the Knights are suspicious of her. We been looking into the situation. *she pulls out what looks to be a piece of a doll*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "It looks like it could be a piece of one of the doll automatons from Kumen."
<@DeathStar> <Rika> Yes, but this one looks to have been modified
<@Jackieness> <Lana> *adjusts her glasses and leans in to take a look*
<@DeathStar> <Rika> It is suspicious she had it on her. *the piece seems to have some sort of magi-tech chip embedded into it, and there is a blinking dot going off*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh...but wouldn't have made more sense for her to get rid of the evidence if she were the saboteur?" *tries to examine the chip*
<@DeathStar> *the ship seems to be flashing as if giving off a signal, or doing something similiar*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "May I examine further?"
<@DeathStar> *Rika motions for her to go on*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> *begins to weave and tries to intercept the signal*
<@DeathStar> *Lana partially intercepts - enough to know the signal is not really a signal so much as a jammer it looks like, and has been slowly jamming things in the building and bringing down stuff*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Its a jamming device. Its itnerefering with the functioning of magi-tech."
<@DeathStar> *Rika stiffens* We need to destroy it now. Come on.
<@DeathStar> *she begins to pull the two toward the stairs*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhh....of course." *goes with Rika*
<@DeathStar> *Rika leads Lana and Selena up the tower toward a room with some soldiers - a ton of Magi-Tech equipment is laying around* <Rika> Can the signal be destroyed?
<@DeathStar> *Verdant hangs behind Lana*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Its emitted by a physical chip, so it should be possible. That assumes there are not more, though."
<@DeathStar> *Rain's hand grows into that of a dragon's and grabs the chip, trying to crush it*
<@DeathStar> *Rain sets it down*
<@DeathStar> *Rika even
<@DeathStar> <Rika> It is not being crushed
<@DeathStar> <Rika> Let us go talk to Gavin.
<@DeathStar> *she begins to lead them upstairs*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Perhaps it is warded somehow..."
<@DeathStar> *Rika leads them into the meeting room - in a massive room with a ton of council members are in their seats and the Knights are with them. Gavin can be seen standing near the Creation Machine, having been talking about something when they enter, turning his head toward them*
<@DeathStar> <Rika> Excuse me, we have a situation, sir. *she hands the chip over and motions at Lana to explain. Selena and Verdant look around*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "This chip is emitting a jammign signal that appears to interefere with the funcitoning of magi-tech devices. Its also warded agaisnt physical damage, which is an unusual amount of effort for a piece of otherwise disposable technology."
<@DeathStar> <Gavin> .... *turns to look at the Creation Machine* It is clearly not meant to jam this. *as he says this, the council members seem to be in an uproar, declaring they are under attack* <Council Member A> They are here to attack us and take the machine. <Council B> Knights - you have to do something! *As he says that, alams go off from intruders*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh?!"
<@DeathStar> *Gavin begins to point out Knights, ordering them to head downstairs to prepare to repel the intruders*
<@DeathStar> *Gavin turns to Lana* It would seem someone has come to either destroy the machine or take it
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "The jammign chip may have been intended to disrupt the devices ahead of the attack."
<@Jackieness> defenses even
<@DeathStar> <Gavin> I fear you are correct
<@DeathStar> *The council members are escorted out of the room to safety*
<@DeathStar> *Gavin and Rika remain behind* <Rika> Lana - Selena - Verdant - you should come with me. I will escort out of the chamber
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhh...ok."
<@DeathStar> *as Rika begins to lead them toward the exit, suddenly the doors burst open and magi operatives enter. Rika stepping in between Lana and Selena when the operatives open fire with what looks to be a powerful magic blast that sends all of them flying back across the room to Gavin's feet and the creation machine*
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "Ahhhhhhh!"
<@DeathStar> *Selena winces and tries to get up. Gavin turns and draws his blade* Rika! *Selena crawls over to Lana* <Selena> You okay?
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "I...I think so..."
<@Seraphna> **Talia flops out of the boobs, having shielded Lana**
<@DeathStar> *Selena helps Lana to her feet; Gavin has begun to unleash his full magic fury on the operatives and their bodies have fallen to the ground, broken into pieces. He shifts over to pull Rika to him, shaking her but it appears to be too late* <Gavin> ...Damns you...What is going on...
<@DeathStar> *he glances up and eyes the Creation Machine*
<@Seraphna> **Talia forms her blades and touches one to Rike trying Revive Magik**
<@Jackieness> <Lana> *looks over atthe creation Machine too*
<@DeathStar> *the Creation Machine appears to be unharmed - the machine, with all 7 pieces, looks to be running at full power. It stands tall at 7 feet, and looks to be made of a strange alloy, giving it a creepy black look that glows with a strange throbbing sound*
<@DeathStar> *at the top of it, a beam of mana is shooting up into the air*
<@DeathStar> *there is no obvious controls or anything*
<@Seraphna> Talia> Fuck… I know this feeling…
<@Jackieness> <Lana> "...this..." *turns ans weaves, tryign to examine the details of the Creation Machine*
<@DeathStar> *Rika's body jerks but does not seem to revive - either it was not enough, the damage was too great, or somethign in the room is interfering*
<@Seraphna> Talia> Lana, magik interference extends to spells. Remember that thing needs to be split seven ways. We can’t let them take it. **she readies herself**

Like most magi, I used traditional magic and was interested in where the source of it came from - we draw from this mana source that is in our world and seems to be endless almost. The Keepers claim to not have such a power in their world, but I am positive that other worlds must have resources as well besides Kumen, which their mana seems to be tied to ours.

<@DeathStar> <Alaric> Despite this, I looked into it and that led me to study magic - mana - magic - definitely comes from a source we cannot fully identify. Our planet is a living thing, and the mana is like a life blood. You could almost argue that the planet itself is the source of the mana I suppose. So since we can make our own blood, I sought out to make my own magic source. That was where Creation Magic came from - trying to mimic that.

<@DeathStar> <Autumn> Ah, the Croza - my understanding they are out there right now, growing in size as an empire. I am fairly certain they are still as one right now since they have not arrived on Geyze. I have some theories on them now that I have spent time around the Keepers.

<@DeathStar> <Autumn> Well, it will be up to you if you want to share it with the others, but - the Keepers encountered the source of the Spirits long ago - a being that links all Spirits from what I understand. And it inspired them to try to see if they could bring about natural spirits from worlds - essentially, replicate how that original spirit was made. It's the reason they are here on Geyze and a few other worlds, they feel they have the proper ingredients needed for what is needed.

<@DeathStar> <Autumn> I have suspicions that the Croza have to have originated from this Spirit Mother at some point in the past. It is the only thing that makes sense. It must mean at some point, that they managed to spread out and take control of most of the galaxy after being ... born? And The Croza also appear to be scavengers of technology as we have seen and incorporated Keeper tech. I've gotten hints of it from the Keepers. What I do not understand is why they seem to avoid the Croza. They actively seem to avoid them and this is before the Croza have their split

<@DeathStar> <Autumn> From what little I gathered, seeking the Croza should have sped up what they are trying to do with the spirits here. But the Keepers are trying to keep a low profile from them - and something else out there. We do know when the Croza arrive, they quickly swoop in to study Shade, Aska, and Void
