<@DeathStar> *Azif activates the circle and the group finds themselves shifting and suddenly finding themselves in a smaller location, the room not very big, the walls looking to be peeling and thin; there doesn't look to be a lot of property inside as they look to be in a living room of sorts, with what looks to be blood all over the place with another piece of the symbol, aimed toward the center of the city*

<@DeathStar> *it seems to be coming from the small room off from the living room space*

<@DeathStar> <Selena> Well, we aren't positive yet the owners of the last place are dead, but it definitely seems location is important to them. *she peers into the room* Young woman, probably works somewhere in the area.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *nods and prepares to starts disrupting this spell point*
<Alicia> * Yoiyami observes and helps as much as she can. 'Hacking' is a more useful skill than 'using programs'

<@DeathStar> <Azif> We know their plan was to summon a high level demon, hence all the summon points around the city; by breaking even one of the summon points, you know this will alert them before they are done and they will scatter into the wind

<Jackieness> <Lana> "...ahhh...yes...ok..." *stops* "..then what do we do?"
<@DeathStar> <Selena> Well if we let them continue, that will mean they'll keep killing though

<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "It's a summon spell, right? Why don't we summon the summoners instead?"
<Alicia> <Yoiyami> "You can do that?"
<@DeathStar> <Lavenza> You mean like people summon me?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "If they combined their own esence into the spell... we possibly could..."
<@DeathStar> <Azif> There are indeed spells that can bring them forth - the matter is if you have the ability, spell knowedge, and the materials present
<@DeathStar> *she glances around the summon symbols on the ground*
<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "A bit of scrying into who wrote the glyphs would help, if they didn't."
<Jackieness> <Lana> *studies the spell glyphs more*
<@DeathStar> *the spell glyphs are part of a larger summoning circle to bring forth a high level demon that is normally uncontrollable; clearly these summoners are hoping to be able to control it by making a summoning circle around the city, or if worse case scenario, trap it within the circle*
<@DeathStar> *Zayne and Lavenza seem to be studying the circle, but both of them seem to be grimacing for other reasons*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Its an attempted containment spell...to keep the summon inside if they cna't bargain or coerce it."
<@DeathStar> <Selena> I would imagine it has to be a Summoni or someone with Summoni knowledge
<Alicia> <Yoiyami> "...can the containment contain non-spirit people?"
<@DeathStar> <Selena> But there should be no spirits over here

<Alicia> <Yoiyami> "I kinda like the idea of turning it into their jail, even if it's just until we figure out what to do with them."

<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "Summoning them into a jail cell would be fun, but... well, my concern right now is figuring out how to pull this off, and prevent additional murders."

<@Seraphna> **Alt muses** Daemon Nobility sometimes summon Demons, but is not a normal practice outside black magic users I thought.

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well...this is more alight with blood magic and blakc magic. Black magic for intent, blood magic to shift the price on to some unfortunate victim."

<@DeathStar> <Zayne> If it is black magic, then we hsould be able to ping them

<Jackieness> <Lana> "I've done it before when we had problems with black magi."

<Jackieness> <Lana> *raises her hands and starts to weave, trying to find the common thread of black magic to lead her back to the source*
<@DeathStar> *as Lana is weaving, the summoning circle in the room begins to glow, as if reacting to Lana. Something like a cute little demon begins to form and creeps up on the team*

<@DeathStar> *it seem to be heading right for Lana*
<Alicia> *Yoiyami wraps it up in tendrils* "Busy."
<@Seraphna> Alt> Should I stop it? Is it bad? **whispers to Azif**

<@Ariel> * Nicolette picks up the tiny demon with a weave of air
<@DeathStar> *the demon struggles as the two stop it; it seems to be some sort of senty of sorts*
<@DeathStar> <Azif> I would destroy it, but that is just my nature
<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "It may be a demon, but it's just doing it's job."

<@DeathStar> *Lana finally seems to pick up senses of black magic mixed with darker magic, located not too far from their position*

<@DeathStar> *the imp makes nonsensical noises; it seems it cannot speak their language*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Black magic, but its on top of something else...somethign worse."

<@DeathStar> *the entire area is currently empty of people as they are in the warehouses*
<@Seraphna> Alt> Mmm, yues, this one is a harbinger.
<@Seraphna> Alt> Says it's lord is coming to take over the place.
<Alicia> <Yoiyami> "Hopefully that's the summon, so we can just disrupt it."
<Jackieness> <Lana> *starts walking toward where she sensed the dark magic*
<@DeathStar> <Selena> ... *she eyes Alt bringing the demon along* Are we ... really going to bring it along, Alt?
<@DeathStar> *the Demon seems to be making increasingly scary noises at Alt*
<@Seraphna> Alt> **chatters to see if the Imp wants to stay or go**
<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "We probably should just banish it back to where it came from."
<@Seraphna> Alt> It's offering to make me it's pet. Azif?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...I...ahhh..think its saying what it will do to Alt's...ahhh...virtue?"
<Alicia> <Yoiyami> "I would make a comment about binary dualistic notions of good and evil, but they might actually be able to do it there."
<@DeathStar> *the group arrives at what appears to be a strange building - it has no descriptions and there appears to be no one working, indicating it's not a place for workers. A single guard is out front, protecting it though*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Unlike mortals, beings like this imp embody a concept. They have no free wil in the same sense that you and I do."
<@DeathStar> *Zayne peersat Lana, then at the imp* Really...
<@DeathStar> *Shin materalizes from the shadows next to Nicolette, brings her scythe out, and seems to be about to bring it down on the imp, just on instinct* I have been scouting the area out.

<@Seraphna> **Terra takes it and lets him lead her away**

<@DeathStar> <Selena> It makes my skin crawl. I want to bring out my spirit powers, but I don't want to have the hammer come down on us

<@DeathStar> <Selena> *thinks* A little of A and B. *she steps back, drawing her sword* The second we open that door, be prepared for trouble.

<@Seraphna> **Terra brings forth the Hammer, a little of A and B**
<@DeathStar> *Azif hangs back, behind Alt, while Shin seems to draw her weapon*
<@DeathStar> *Lavenza seems to run around, not sure what to do, and opts to hide until she's needed*
<@Seraphna> **Terra makes no note of what happend to the poor guard. Poor poor guard**
<@DeathStar> <Selena> ... *reaches for the door*
<@DeathStar> <Selena> Ready?
<@Seraphna> **Alt pauses to rub her nose, then nods getting ready again**
<@Ariel> * Nicolette nods, gripping her cane
<Jackieness> <Lana> *nods* "Ahh...do it."
<@DeathStar> *Selena opens it and inside, a large number of armored soldiers, as well as a few robed figures are in large warehouse with crates. They seem to be preparing some things when the group catches them off guard, turning to look at the group as the door is thrown open, however it is clear they are exeptionally well trained because they begin to recover quickly*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *starts to weave, trying to catch the opposing group in adebuff before they cna recover fully*
<@DeathStar> *Selena dashes in and slashes down one of the Knights before they can fully grab a weapon, then locks weapons with another*
<@DeathStar> *Shin begins to move in and completely decimates one Knight*
<@Ariel> * Nicolette causes the earth to erupt upwards underneath the robed figures
<@DeathStar> *the robbed figures go flying about, scattered*
<@DeathStar> *Robed
<@DeathStar> *Zayne charges her magic and unleashes a magic girl like blast at the scattered robes figures, completely sending two flying*
<@DeathStar> *by now the Knights have come charging in at Lana, slashing down at her*
<@DeathStar> *and more Knights are moving to rout the team, charging at Alt, Azif, and Shin*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *weaves to try and raiose a barrier to deflect the attacks*
<@DeathStar> *the robed figures begin to recover, and one begins to unleash what looks like poison, a circle forming underneath Nicolette, attempting to poison the area around her*
<@DeathStar> *the Knight begins to strike the barrier, purposely aimimg at points to weaken it as fast as possible*
<Jackieness> <Lana> 8weaves with her other hand, immediately putting one barrier behind the first as the first comes down*
<@DeathStar> *two robed figures sneak off into a corner and begin to do sneaky bad guy things*
<@DeathStar> <Knight> You cannot keep me off forever, witch!
<@Ariel> * Nicolette keeps moving, and turns her attention to freezing the air around the mages so it's harder to cast
<Jackieness> <Lana> "If you're really sure..." *steps back to get out of reach and then tries re-weaving her barrier...over the knight's face to smother them*
<@DeathStar> *Nicolette would notice the mages in the area are struggling now; one seems to be focusing on a black fireball, working to aim it at Selena's back*
<@DeathStar> *The Knight strains, then seems to fall forward*
<@Ariel> <Nicolette> "Sel! behind you!"
<@Seraphna> **Alt slices out at the black fireball mages with a Holy blast from Heyu**
<@Seraphna> **Terra bonks soldiers**
<@DeathStar> *selena turns and manages to slice it in half and rolls to the side as Alt takes out the one mage. Suddenly, Selena, Lavenza, and Shin begin to strain to move*
<@DeathStar> *Zayne takes a few step and falls to her knees*
<@DeathStar> *the remaining handful of Knights and mages seem to take advantage of this, a few not sure what is going on and are running up to attack them, while others seem to be eyeing the summoning circle on the ground lighting up*
<@Seraphna> **Terra frowns and poofs back a bit**
<@DeathStar> *Fae whispers in Terra's ear*
<@Seraphna> **Alt leaps over to protect them, whipping Wyrd at their attackers**
<Jackieness> <Lana> *turns and starts to weave a counterspell effect on the summoning circle*
<@Seraphna> **Terra nods and leaps forward, warping with her non-spirit powers and bashes at the circle with her hammer, infusing it with Hyperspace**
<@DeathStar> *a Knight eyes them attacking the circle* <Mage> Damn, they'll break it in no time. *they seem to all retreat while they're focused on breaking the circle*
<@DeathStar> *heading to the corner with crates*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Terra, stop them! Mud floor!"
<@Seraphna> **Alt frowns and stabs at one with Long Cat Arms**
<@Seraphna> **Terra nods and muds the ground they're heading towards**
<@DeathStar> *a Knight and Mage is stabbed and fall into the mud*
<@DeathStar> *right as the circle collapses*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "We dispelled it...ahhh...clean up the rest!"
<@DeathStar> *Zayne teleports herself over to the corner where the others scampered off*
<@Seraphna> **Alt scurries over with Zayne&&
<@Seraphna> **Terra checks on Fae and the other spirits**
<@DeathStar> <Zayne> .... *she throws the crates aside, revealing what appears to be a blood magic symbol*
<@DeathStar> <Zayne> They are gone
<@Seraphna> Alt> Blood Magic transport... can we trace where they went?
<Jackieness> <Lana> *moves over* "...let's see..." *starts to weave, trying to follow the path of the spell to their destination*
<@DeathStar> *as Lana begins to weave and trace it, the blood begins to bubble and suddenly it seems to spring to life, leaping from the ground onto her body; the blood feeling as if it's burning like acid*
<Jackieness> <Lana> A"hhhh?! MAgic trap!"
<@DeathStar> <Selena> Crap. *she looks around*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Get it off! Get it off!"
<@Seraphna> Terra> THat circle fed off Spirits...
<@DeathStar> *Zayne forms spirit water magik and flushes Lana's hand*
<@Seraphna> **Alt leaps on top of Lana and suddenly douses her with a flood of water, spining on her head as she casts Status Magic too**
<@Ariel> * Nicolette attempts to douse Lana in water
<@DeathStar> *due to all three, the blood is forced off*

It is funny - he should be the Knight of the people, especially considering the type of Knight he is - the power he has at his fingertips. Yet he and he rest of his clan have never done such a thing. *she sighs, shaking her head* I suppose he could be doing it for his own reasons or because his King wants it done

<@DeathStar> *Jean taps her fingers* I can't say for certain, as I am not part of their inner circle, but I have some knowledge and I know a little bit. Damjan would likely share everything he knows about his enforcer with with Waymark, and I've heard them call it a Spirit before and the word summoning in regards to it.

<@DeathStar> <Jean> I am not sure. I'll have to look into it more. So far I assumed the attacks on my property was to make me come in under what I owe the Bandit King so I would lose my position, but attacking the city would be a little overkill.

Hence what she meant by fighting heroes is his weakness. But, most people have just a wee bit of darkness in them somewhere. Usually.
