<@DeathStar> <Ymir> Almost got caught by Tech Corp security thanks to whoever hired that troublesome Runner. We don't know if they're a freelancer or working for another Corporation.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "I did get some data, not sure how useful it might be."
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Either way, we managed to use Tech Corp's computers to locate at least one other Relic armor that Tech Corp is working with Star Corps to anaylze the Relic Armors. If we can get our hands on that one, we'll at least have 4 of the 7.
<@DeathStar> *she brings up the location on the world map* <Asarar> So we'll be heading there now once you're done eating

<@DeathStar> <Melodie> We have kissed. But you also kiss close friends, or family. Sparkling is someone who is very dear to us. She is dear family. But right now she is walking her path and we are walking ours. It is one reason we are helping here with the magic ship stuff

<@DeathStar> *Ymir turns* We should be close by. I'm slowing us down so we can scan ahead
<@DeathStar> *She brings it up on screen; the terrain is like that of the snow fields of Geyze, since Kumen is like a mirror image of it after all, and the Tech Corp facility seems to be situated up in the mountains. Asarar rubs her chin, clearly pondering why they would build it so remotely. Ymir's scan begins to bring up data - it seems to lack any visible weapons but they do have detection scans for approaching ships or the like*

<@DeathStar> <Ymir> According ot the files, they're researching the armor in there with their spirit tech to see if they can activate it, as well as other means. This facility was chosen specifically for what all they have in there to awaken the armor if at all possible
<@DeathStar> *Asarar begins to put on snow white armor* Sneaking up the side it is then
<Jackieness> <Bella> "We know that mana can wake it up."
<@DeathStar> *Cloe leaves her kitty armor behind, keeping just her mana armor behind as well as cute white outfit over it*
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> My fear is they'll find some way to mimic Melodie and Aimee spirit powers to wake it up enough to begin pouring mana into it.
<@DeathStar> <Melodie> Hopefully as long as we control the ship, they shouldn't be able to use the armor
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Still, let's move." *suits up*
<@DeathStar> *Ymir brings them down onto the ground, and opens the hanger door*
<@DeathStar> <Seniga> I'll be here with these two incase you need us to come in and help. <Melodie> We'll save the day if you need us. <Ymir> And I'll monitor you from here.

<Jackieness> <Bella> *dashes out of the ship and then starts settng up the line for the ascent*
<@DeathStar> *Asarar glances up; still sporting the eyepatch, her good eye seems to focus on the mountain*
<@Seraphna> Luci> Onay but I charge per the Asarar.
<@Seraphna> Asarar 2> My hero.
<Jackieness> <Bella> *starts the climb*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe begins to climb up, using her cat like claws and speed, while Asarar uses the line*
<@Seraphna> **Minty floats her way up while Luci follows on the line.**
<@DeathStar> *as they climb upward, working their way up, they soon come across what looks like a bear cave part way up, and nested into the side is a sensor, sweeping for movement and people. Cloe freezes as she approaches*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *attempts a remote hack to feed it fake sensory data to hide htir presence*
<@DeathStar> *the sensor seems to be partially scrambled. Asarar pulls herself up into the cave area, when a soft roar is heard; turning her head, an angry, hungry bear like creature begins to emerge*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe turns and eyes it - and it seems to begin to lumber forward toward Cloe, seeing her as a meal. Cat is cat*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *pulls herself up over the edge*
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> If only Cloe brought her custard pie she made for Bella
<Jackieness> <Bella> "well...crap..."
<@DeathStar> *the bear eyes Bella joining now and growls at her warningly*
<@DeathStar> *making itself stand up taller*
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> If only we had a dragon with us
<@Seraphna> **Luci growls at it**

<@DeathStar> *The bear eyes Luci, snarling back*
<@Seraphna> **Luci raises her arms as if to look big and roars, the roar is dragon like though**
<@DeathStar> *the bear eyes the small Loli, roaring like a dragon, and it's clear the bear is thinking it over, and seems to turn around and back into the cave*
<@DeathStar> *as if non-plussed*
<@Seraphna> Luci> Wasn’t hungry enough to eat it.
<Jackieness> <Bella> *gestures and starts setting up the line for the next ascent*
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Luci is growing as a dragon
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Not eating everything
<@DeathStar> *she pats her head*

<@DeathStar> *she begins to climb again as Bella finishes setting up*
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Ready? *she asks Bella*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Ready."
<@DeathStar> *Asarar begins to climb up the line; as they reach the time of the small mountain cliffs, they can see as far as the eye can see, which is likely part of the reason it was chosen. The wind is howling bad up here and even is pushing them back a little. A few guards are posted up there, along with more sensors around the place.*
<@DeathStar> *Asarar kneels against the building to shelter from the wind*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *moves to anchor the group from being pushed down by the wind*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "We need a path inside now."
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> I can hack the systems here, but the front door is being guarded too. *surveying the structure, the base seems rather large - it looks to be a few stories tall, with a few windows on both the ground level and the upper levels. No back exit that is visible at this time and there does appear to be some sort of emegency staircase structure going up to the roof on the side, with sensors covering it*
<@Seraphna> **Luci waves her hands and weaves a clear shield to deflect the wind**
<Jackieness> <Bella> "We can try to get to the access point from the roof."
<@DeathStar> *Asarar studies it* It can't hurt. Hold on. I'll see what I can do about the cameras and sensors. *Asarar seems to close her eyes, hand on the building*
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Okay. *she grabs the ladder and begins to climb up*
<@DeathStar> *it seems to pass the second and third story windows; people can be heard inside these floors, going about whatever inside the offices. Asarar slows down as she passes by them and Cloe creeps all low when she goes by, as Asarar reaches the roof, where a single guard is walking about, smoking and holding what looks to be a high tech rifle*
<@DeathStar> *also on the roof is what appears to be a roof access point to enter the building*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *makes note of the access point, but waits because of the guard*
<@DeathStar> *The guard casually seems to be patrolling the building - mostly just circling the area near the access point, though every now and then as if scripted almost, he stops and peers off the left side of the building and looks down off of it, holds up his binocular, and seems to be staring off the mountain, as if looking for something, then goes back to circling the area for a few moments, smoking, then goes back, looks off the mountain with his binoculars*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *notes the guard's patrtern, waits for the guard to pass, then climbs up and starts to shadow him*
<@DeathStar> *The guard seems to not have noticed Bella yet as he moves to look off the mountain again, scanning it with his binoculars* <Guard> ... *mumbles something under his breath as he seems to be scanning*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe creeps toward the entry point while this goes on*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *moves up behind him and tries to disable his comms*
<@DeathStar> *Bella would find he is using the latest in AniMon communications tech as she grabs it and disables it*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe gets the door open during all this and Asarar moves to join her*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *then tries to yank the guy down to the ground and wrap her legs around his neck to choke him to unconsciouness*
<@DeathStar> *The guard makes a surprised noise and struggles, struggling and reached for Bella, trying to break free. Finding that useless and slowly losing consciousness, he reaches for his pockets to grab what looks like a flare gun and shakily begins to lift it up into the air*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *uses her hands to try to take the flare gun form him*
<@DeathStar> *the guard strains to hold onto it and looks like he might even fire the flare right at Bella, his fingers slowly beginning to tighten around the trigger, when Cloe shows back up to grab the man's hand to help Bella until the man loses all strength and passes out, allowing Bella to take the weapon*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *disarms him and then drags him toward the access point so they can search him in peace*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe sneaks back along with Bella*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *starts to search thew guard, bidning him up with his own uniform as she goes*
<@DeathStar> *The man seems to have with him - a gun that can fire tranq shots and real shots, a flare gun, a level 1 ID card, smokes, and what appears to be naked pictures of a few girls for some weird reason in his wallet. Cloe makes a face*
<@DeathStar> *Asarar has creeped along the stairs and come back*
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> There are locks on each of the floors. The basement levels require level 3 IDs. The upper floors require level 1 or level 2.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "We have a levle 1. We'll need to get a 2 or 3 on the way. Also We have their comms. Ani-Mon branded tech."
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Yeah, I think I have an Ani Mon communicator somewhere in the casino; came when they brought in the new holovid technology. They're all about this communication tech. I never use it though
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Too paranoid
<@DeathStar> *Asarar walks down the stairs to the floor with the level 1 ID*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Deos mean we cna listen on their chatter though."
<@Seraphna> **Minty uses the guards they’ve seen so far to be come one**
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Maybe when back Cloe can see about dismantling it and see how it works
<@DeathStar> *Cloe nods*
<@DeathStar> *Asarar swipes the card and takes a look at the floor - the floor seems to be set up to be like an office floor almost, more than a research floor. One can see there are offices where the people are there to come up with ideas, field things - there is a board with ideas on how to implement Spirit Tech into Magic Tech and various ways it can be used safely. It seems to be almost a think tank floor*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Taking some notes..."
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> We need to see who here might have a Lv. 2 Card and move on
<@DeathStar> *the officer works seem to be holding a meeting in the staff room, and so far have not noticed anything*
<@DeathStar> *the staffers are in there presenting ideas, leaving all their offices empty for the moment*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *looks for a manager's office*
<@DeathStar> *There indeed is a large office back in the corner - right across from the staff meeting room. One just has to be quiet and neak past the staff room, since it has clear windows that means if any of them are observant, they could look out and see you*
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> ... Cloe could crawl on her tummy to the back?
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Be careful."
<@DeathStar> *Cloe begins to get on all four and begins to crawl across the ground toward the back, which ironically makes her look even more suspicious as she inch worms across*
<@DeathStar> *ninjaing around corners and away*
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> .... *Rubs her face, peering toward the staff room, then toward the manager's office, as Cloe crawls along the floor*
<@DeathStar> *by a miracle, Cloe RPs a 1 out of 10, and crawls right past them all, opens the door without a sound, and crawls right inside*
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> In hindsight, we should have had Minty do this in disguise. It would have been easier on Cloe.
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...maybe...until they ask why a guard is going into the managers' office."
<@DeathStar> *Cloe then crawls back out and comes moving rapidly back toward them, the card in her mouth* <Asarar> True
<@Seraphna> Minty> Hmmm.
<@DeathStar> *Cloe stands up, handing them a lv. 2 card*
<@DeathStar> *Asarar lets out a sigh of relief and moves down to the next level* <Asarar> Everyone ready?
<@DeathStar> *Cloe hands Bella some papers she took*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *looks over the papers*
<@DeathStar> **it looks like the papers are covering Tech Corp's Spirit Tech project, and that they have marked key locations across Kumen that seem to be rich in Spirit energy. Their plan is to tap into spirit rich areas, build their facilities, and work on designing new types of Spirit Tech that could be used to create approximations of what they need with the mana being lost. And hopefully start restoring mana once more on the planet*
<@DeathStar> *they also seem to have charted out what looks like what should be something akin to leylines*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Spirit wells... leylines..."
<@DeathStar> *As Asarar opens the ground level floor, it looks to be divided into two sections*
<@DeathStar> *to the left seems to be the researches quarters, while the right seems to be this facility's security forces*
<@DeathStar> *researcher's
<@DeathStar> *a single camera is in position as well, but Asarar hacks into a loop*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Access to research levels in the sub-basement."
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> Does Cloe need to crawl again?
<@DeathStar> *Asarar peers into the sleeping quarters for the researchers - it appears to be a long hallway with several rooms*
<@Seraphna> Minty> Only if you want to.
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> We need lock picking if we want to try the rooms. Probably a room with someone inside
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Minty - you should try to get a good look at one of them, too
<@DeathStar> *Cloe goes on ahead while they are standing there and puts an ear to each of the doors until she seems to find one with someone asleep in the room, then examines the door locks - which looks to be some sort of basic lock*
<@Seraphna> **Minty nods and moves sneakily to study one and copy their unconsciousness.**
<Jackieness> <Bella> *moves over next to Cloe*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe tilts her head, then searches the room - the room being what looks to be a simple bed, and shower. The scientist's suit simply hanging up in the corner*
<@DeathStar> *Asarar motions for them to follow her back out into the stairs when they're done*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *ninjas in to serach for the next levle pass*
<@DeathStar> *Bella would locate it on the suit itself, since there is not that many locations. The level 3 card seems to be attached to the outside*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *tries to take the card*
<@DeathStar> *Bella gains the Lv. 3 Card of one Scientist Baxter*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe peers at Minty's disguise as Baxter and muses, then scoots out for the stairs*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *moves for the stairs with Asarar*
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Alright
<@DeathStar> *Asarar hands the Baxter card to Minty*
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> You go ahead and we'll follow discreetly behind you
<@Seraphna> **Minty nods and moves along as Baxter**
<@DeathStar> *As she enters the labatory, it seems to be a giant place - all around are experiments occurring. Minty would see that each of the scientists down here seem to be doing their own little experiments. Minty would see Baxter's lab off to the side seems to be dealing with Spirit Tech rats or something, while others seem to be looking into Spirit Tech leyline experiments. Infact, there is a huge amount of spirit energy in here, and in the center of the room it looks like they've been digging down into something deep in the mountain, for one group*
<@DeathStar> *Asarar and Cloe slip in after Minty, peering at the huge well like object in the center*
<@DeathStar> *another group seem to be running their experiments on the armor in another part - one can see it off to the side*
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> .... that is big hole
<Jackieness> <Bella> *checks the papers from upstairs for anythign at the lab site*
<@DeathStar> *if the papers are right, that hole is them digging into the Spirit Well, or the Leyline. One or the other. Or maybe they're trying to do both at once, which could be explosive*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...ok...that explains this site...apparently an old leyline intersected a spirit well right here."
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> That doesn't sound good. I can see why they brought the armor here then - they're hoping this Well will bypass the lock.
<@DeathStar> *as she says that, they're cheers from the armor section. One of the scientists seems to have the armor on their wrist*
<@DeathStar> *Cloe has already begun to cover her face up, just incase combat occurs*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "...greta...just great..."
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> If that can do it, they'll bring the other armors here then
<Jackieness> <Bella> "While it would be convenient to get them all at once, we're here now."
<@Seraphna> Luci> Great now I need to take a scientists arm.
<@DeathStar> *they seem to be busy playing with the one armor, not even having made the gears yet - likely the scientists are still just figuring out what it can do*
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> We'll need to decide what to do about the Well, too
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> If we leave it open, they'll just use it for the others. But if we bring the base down on it, we'll set them back on properly figuring out other things
<Jackieness> <Bella> "Breaching the barrier between the leyline and the well could blow the place up."
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> That is true, assuming there is any mana left in the leyline to cause an explosion
<@DeathStar> *the scientists seem to be heading for the communications network*
<@DeathStar> *another has taken off the armor and is moving to put it up, moving with some guards*
<Jackieness> <Bella> "They are about to phone home to brag."
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> They are proud. *nod nod* Proud little scientists
<Jackieness> <Bella> "What's the call then?"
<@DeathStar> <Asarar> Alright we need to move. *she studies the layout - the area is divided into what looks to be several large labs, which means many of the researchers are not even paying attention to anything, being in their own little lab areas. The center are being the Well. And in the back seems to be a security zone for putting up dangerous items. There looks to be around 10-15 researchers. And around 20 guards, probably to keep an eye on the Researchers more than anything*
<@DeathStar> *right now only 2 of the Researchers are headed for the back to put up the Armor, along with 4 guards*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *moves along, sticking to shadows as she tries to get close to the armor group*
<@Seraphna> **Minty blends in waiting for the next cue.**
<@DeathStar> *Asarar and Cloe follow, heading further into the facility at the back. As they move along, they unfortunately do stand out, even with Minty the Baxter with them, but so far they haven't been spotted with the rolls they're getting, allowing them to walk all the way through the facility, all the way to toward the back as they tail them, but as they near the back end where the researchers are preparing to put everything up, that is when they're noticed, the rolls turning bad*
<@DeathStar> *a guard turns and notices several figures following them and begins to turn around and go back toward them*
<@DeathStar> <Guard> ...Who's there?
<Jackieness> <Bella> *dashes forward, trying to take the guard down fast*
<@Seraphna> **Minty TK holds him for Bella**
<@DeathStar> *the guard is smashed*
<@DeathStar> *by some miracle, no one has noticed*
<Jackieness> <Bella> *pulls him off to the side*
<@DeathStar> *yet*
<@Seraphna> **Minty replaces him**
<@DeathStar> <Cloe> ..... *looks surprised at the speed the two did that*
<@DeathStar> *Asarar nods at the two - the other 3 guards meanwhile watch as the scientist begins to input the code for putting the armor inside the safe*
<@Seraphna> **Minty watches too**
<@DeathStar> *Minty learns the code*
<@DeathStar> *the scientist puts it inside and closes it up, then they move off, heading back toward the communications where their friends are at*

The description of it almost seems to be exactly like Asarar's group without coming right out and naming them, and the protocol goes over needing to tighten certain aspects of NetRon to make sure they do not suffer any losses*
