<Seraphna> Jaime> I would not fret too much. It’s news, but not something they can exactly protest or demand from.

<Seraphna> Jaime> I sent Cuddles scans of mother to be sure she is okay. But I think we need to be prepared for anything.

<DeathStar> <Evette> This location makes little sense to be attacked when you pair it with the one on Andrea
<Dias`> *Celeritas steps up from behind Evette* Agreed. So does that mean it was meant to be a distraction?
<DeathStar> <Evette> I think it's either to cover somthing up or to destroy information
<Seraphna> Angel> The number of progenitors who could have done it is extremely small. Most are accounted for though as they were very publicly available.
<Dias`> <Cel> Hmmmm. *He she crosses her arms* So what here would they want to information wise destroyed or taken and believed destroyed.

<DeathStar> *Evette opens her mouth, then peers at Hotaru
<Seraphna> Angel> It’s possible to leave them about but it seems far too… obvious. It’s something that someone might do by accident more likely than on purpose.

<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Tell me..how certain are you that Mem is actually dead?"

<Dias`> <Cel> That's a valid thought. Mem's ability lets her see auras. If this person warped in, she may have instantly noticed it and went in to attack mode.
<DeathStar> <Evette> Mem was on the couch, watching a show. The explosion came upward, and enguled the one area she was at.
<DeathStar> <Evette> I have to admit, Hotaru, this "accidental gas leak" seemed to almost be designed to hit her while crippling the base
<Dias`> <Evette> Than it's safe to say she was the target.

<Seraphna> Angel> How’d they get past her though?
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "I think so too, now."
<DeathStar> <Evette> If they appeared in the base first.... she might not have noticed
<Seraphna> Angel> That’s what I mean though. The base has anti-teleportation defenses.
<DeathStar> <Evette> How far out do they go?
<Seraphna> Angel> I think you can teleport to some point on the grounds.
<Dias`> <Cel> The bases defenses while constantly updated. Doesn't mean it can handle a method it hasn't seen before. *She looks at Evette* I'll let the others know to start scanning outside the base. See if they can find an entry point.
<DeathStar> <Lemon> *while eating* It might have let an ally in if it was coded as an emergency
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "To get into the base without teleporting would require one to practically walk past where Mem was sitting."
<Dias`> <Cel> Unless they came in from underneath.
<DeathStar> <Lemon> Or as Cassandra said, the progenitor would have to have moved at top speed past Mem to the statue and gone down
<DeathStar> <Evette> I see it as two options. The Progenitor zoomed through the ground at high speeds and came up at some point into the base
<DeathStar> <Evette> Or they bypassed the teleport system
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "What about the escape tunnel?"
<DeathStar> <Lemon> Well. Lets go check it out
<Dias`> <Cel> Option one means they're known in the system which limits those we should look at. Option 2 will make it incredibly hard.
<Seraphna> Angel> If they had a vehicle coded to the system…
<DeathStar> *She rises and heads into the hole, jumping down*

<Dias`> <Cel> It would still be flagged and entered in to the security system. *She moves to head down

<Dias`> <Cel> It'd be hard for a Progenitor to know ones of those.

<Alicia> <Hotaru> "There are two obvious options. One is being an ex-president is important somehow. The more likely one is... that she's a Dark One."
<Seraphna> Angel> Progenitors and Dark Ones don’t have the greatest history.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "And if they wanted ex presidents, why just take her and not grab me too?"

<Dias`> *Cel glances around* I suppose that would depend on who the culprit is and if they have history with Andrea. But the fact they didn't kill her speaks volumes.
<Seraphna> Angel> Only thing I could think of is someone didn’t get the recent memos about peace.
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "It's possible."
<DeathStar> *as they near the exit, a faint wind can be felt blowing*
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Then lets assume that the Progenitor I saw was an undocumented one."
<Seraphna> Angel> Are the garage doors open?
<Dias`> <Cel> You feel that Evette? *she glances towards the exit*
<Dias`> <Cel> If it was an undocumented one, then that makes option 1 an almost impossibility.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Blast went straight up. shouldn't have blown the hatch open."
<DeathStar> <Evette> We'll see. Everything going on, I thought I had someone check it out. *As they approach, one can see what looks the massive outer door is propped up, having been put back in place, but looking along the edges it seems as if a powerful energy blast burnt it off. Question is why did the alarms not sound*

<Seraphna> Angel> Every alarm in the house should have sounded. And the flower guns.
<DeathStar> <Lemon> It should have. *she crawls up to examine the alarms* One moment
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Unless they knew exactly were to hit to fry the sensors too."
<DeathStar> <Lemon> They look fried almost - practically destroyed

<DeathStar> *Lemon glances down* Can a Progenitor manage that?
<Dias`> <Cel> Is it possible it just happened so fast that the system got confused?

<Seraphna> **Angel muses** Theoretically… maybe? Many of us it would backfire on.

<Alicia> <Hotaru> "If the sensors are fried, that suggests they would have picked them up."
<Dias`> <Cel> Even Winter's systems aren't fool proof.
<Seraphna> Angel> Which means a scan would have set off the alarms.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "So nothing that would have pinged if the sensors stopped talkign to the mains?"
<DeathStar> <Evette> Hotaru is right, they had to remove the scans before moving inside
<DeathStar> <Evette> They might even had to use that progenitor speed to gte to the main computer to calm it down
<Dias`> <Cel> They had speed on their side then.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> Chances are whoever this is they would not have been an authorized user then. That eliminates most of our allies.
<DeathStar> <Evette> At the very least, they didn't know the passwords
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "here are hyperspace particles left behind.... is there any way to pick up faint hyperspace trails that we could follow?"
<DeathStar> <Evette> I been scanning the area around your place after the attack
<DeathStar> <Evette> There was faint hyperspace particles, but much less than in the base.
<DeathStar> <Evette> It was mainly focused where the beam hit your house
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Have you comapred them to the ones in the base?"
<Seraphna> Tabetha> So the beam was hyperspace blast. And the way this being is staying in energy form…
<Dias`> <Cel> Would explain why there was more here then, if they had to burn that much hyperspace to beat the alarm.
<DeathStar> *Evette taps her forehead* Do Progenitors give off different particles?
<Seraphna> Angel> Are we dealing with a True Progenitor? Like one without a host body like Wind?
<Alicia> <Hotaru> "I understand why the 'gas leak' story now... and I'm not sure."
<Seraphna> Tabetha> Yes they can.
<DeathStar> *she eyes the data, comparing them as she walks around*
<DeathStar> <Evette> I'm not getting a match; these were two different "people"
<Seraphna> Tabetha> Though some progenitors can absorb and use the hyperspace of others. Empress and Jaime have shown that ability… it’s supposed to be royal only.
<Jackieness> <Cassandra> "Then we may have at least two of then... that is bigger trouble."
<Dias`> <Cel> Why would we suddenly come across two different Progenitors after all these years?
<DeathStar> <Lemon> That is troubling
<Seraphna> Angel> Let’s hope it’s just two.

<Seraphna> Angel> She wouldn’t be on the list anymore. Chad’s too anal to let that kind of detail slip.

<DeathStar> <Olivia> Last night, former Empress Erevis Zhenmei arrived back on the PAX. We are still evaluating the situation due to her memory being a little confused.
<DeathStar> *Aya eyes Olivia with a look, clearly with Progenitors running around and causing trouble, she's not in the least bit pleased*

<DeathStar> *Taiga skims them while putting them in lightspeed; Cheryl glances over her shoulder*

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Engines are acting up; I only have lightspeed and hyperspace and that's at best
<Seraphna> **Angela growls softly, throwing a holy energy shield around the ship**
<Dias`> <Chad> Hyperspace might be risky still.
<DeathStar> *a large beam of hyperspace comes flying at them and hits the shield, sending them pinballing. It looks like it was aimed at their engine*
<DeathStar> *Ren begins to gte in touch with Lorelei*
<Dias`> *Chad looks over at the terminal then grabs on as the ship is rocked* Hyperspace attack.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Was that a progenitor?
<DeathStar> <Ren> May-day, may-day, Lorelei get your ass out here
<Dias`> <Chad> Id, contact the priority list. Let them know we're back and what's going on.
<DeathStar> *something humanoid shape begins to zoom toward them rapidly*
<DeathStar> *Taiga boosts and tries to put distance*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> That thing is going to catch up
<DeathStar> *stray shots come flying at them occassionally*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *narrows her eyes and then raises her hands, conjuring masses of dark matter spikes between them and the progenitor*
<Dias`> <Chad> Incoming. *He begins trying to scan it while they can* If it's what I'm thinking it is, we jump in to Hyperspace and it'll be at the advantage.
<DeathStar> <Cheryl> Yeah, you'd be right
<DeathStar> *the dark spikes forcing it to slow down and evade*
<Dias`> <Chad> Taiga, do you want me the focus weapons it?
<Seraphna> **Kaelan glows and stands away from the others, she focuses with Truth and slashes at the air, forming a moonlight slash in space at their attacker**
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yeah, that'll let me try to keep evading it. We're slower than it right now sadly
<Jackieness> <Noire> "I am slowing it down. I suggest you get us out of here."
<Dias`> *Chad nods and begins power up weapons and to target and fire on it.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Only thing "faster" is hyperspace. You really want us to use that?!

<DeathStar> *The Progenitor blinks and seems to vanish*
<DeathStar> <Ren> Lorelei is on her way. Wait, it's gone
<DeathStar> *Zephyr is scanning the area* ..
<Dias`> <Chad> Change our direction in a random way.
<Seraphna> **Kaelan feels out**
<DeathStar> *Taiga jerks "upward" which is relative and begins to go at random direction*
<Dias`> <Chad> It might of Hyperspaced in front of us to cut us off.
<DeathStar> *it seems Chad is right, the prognitor appears below them where they wer and firing a massive blasT*
<Seraphna> Angela> Sonething surprised it. Whoop! **she forms another Holy Barrier under them**

<DeathStar> <Cuddles> The DNA samples belong to Erevis/Katrina, but the samples are much older in way. Now I hear you say, everyone is older now
<DeathStar> <Cuddles> What I mean is... *rubs at her head* I mean is when Erevis took Katrina's samples, she was super young and they kind of locked and melded with her
<DeathStar> <Cuddles> It's the same, but it feels like the age is off. Like way off. Also, there's hints that ...

<DeathStar> <Cuddles> Well the melding might have been done after death. But I can't prove it since her body is perfectly healthy and looks the right age for Erevis.

<DeathStar> <Cuddles> Right. Erevis took Katrina's body, melded with her genes/DNA, when Katrina was super young
<Alicia> <Jikuu> "Is this an Erevis from another universe? Or is time travel involved?"
<DeathStar> <Cuddles> It feels like it was done again, but this time at an advanced age, and it might have been done even after death. But my other results conflict with that
<DeathStar> <Cuddles> She's moving around, heart beating, etc
<DeathStar> <Cuddles> And no, she has the prime signature
