They could be shapeshifters for all I know. At the end, it was like....staring ahead was making my head want to explode. I think I passed staring at the horizon at something. I can't explain it more, but there was something there. A lot of somethings.

<@DeathStar> <Isis> It would appear Lenneth is the one that detained her, for her own safety, and it is unknown how injured Spade is at the moment

<@DeathStar> *Isis sits down and shuffles through Jaime's stuff, then begins to contact the Progenitors in deep space* If Azora is still there, the distance would be too great to attack Spade and return back there.

<@DeathStar> *precious minutes tick by - due to the distance and due to the Progenitor's confirmation system to make sure this is the Suisen contacting them. A moment or two later, a woman who looks a lot like Erevis answers* <Azora> .... Isis. I was expecting Jaime. Is something wrong?

<@DeathStar> *the entire room would begin to feel like they're falling into darkness, or being pulled downm with their minds and souls being ripped apart for a seconds. If this were a game, their psyche would be taking a hit. Athena giggles and seems ot be talking to someone else beside her, and X looks uncomfortable, but it ends and the room seems to return to normal, but darkened. All around them a strange growth seems to be all over the place that wasn't there before. Or was it? It seems to be all over the walls and ceiling and continues out into the hallway - pulsating. Cheryl steps out and eyes two workers who seem to pay it no mind*

<@DeathStar> <Taiga> I fear that once they realize we can see them, they'll react quickly to correct it. They'll either "change the channel" so our minds can't parse it anymore, or something else. Remember, the detector said we had to give them a set back like they've never had before. Just seeing them I imagine isn't that

<@DeathStar> <Taiga> It seems to be made up of something that I cannot identify - it is something new. It seems to be some sort of living being that has been transforming the palace into something new on a different plane of existence, if I had to guess. Into what or how, I cannot wager.

<@Chaintan> 6*Miyuki settles Ren into a tail and moves to inspect some of the growth

<@DeathStar> <Taiga> Well, it's not from another reality, which is my expertise, but as for dimenisons inside our reality? That isn't something I've really studied up on

<@DeathStar> <Taiga> It's a good question - how much phasing in out of this dimension can you do before you phase into anothre reality

<@DeathStar> <Azora> ... *she looks at them* I am lost. *she looks around the room then back* Why are we here and not going to the Cartel? *She speaks much like Erevis*

<@DeathStar> *X leads them to the throne room, where seats are set up. Both of them are covered in the stuff and Isis makes a face at the sight. Fox Mask - the Erevis Clone - is sitting in one of them, seemingly picking the room due to it being empty. The entire place covered in the crap all over the place. The mass seems to pulsate as if it's alive and swirl in various colors; looking at it, one can feel themselves and their mind being drawn in. One has to imagine interacting with it day after day, one can feel their mind slipping away as well as their mental faculities*
<@DeathStar> <Isis> Girl, get off that chair! *She snaps at the clone, causing Fox Mask to jerk like a scolded child and she practically slips and falls into more of the mass as she gets off of the chair and scrambles away*

<@DeathStar> *Taiga glances around at how much is in the throne room* <Taiga> I wonder if all of this was present when Jikuu was still here

<@DeathStar> <Taiga> huh? Oh. Since we don't know how they see, it would be hard to think of something to counteract it. If we wanted to wait a while, I could try to study this and see if I could get hints of the dimension they're from

<@DeathStar> <Taiga> This stuff seems to cling to you and is absorbed into the body and it's never been detected by our sensors

<@DeathStar> *the growths around the place begin to shake and whither up from the salt and the blast below. It begins to dry up faster than something left out on a sunny day and the entire place becomes all whithered up all around them*

<@DeathStar> *no attack seems to come; but near the exit to the gardens strange shimmering/vision thing seems to be occurring still, before it vanishes*

<@DeathStar> *Taiga looks over her datapad and studies the palace* It appears the entire place is clearing itself of the growth

<@DeathStar> *out in the garden, the weather has begun to pick up and Jaime and Erevis' flowers are blowing in the wind. The many statues of Jaime's is all around the place and at first glance it appears to be void of any being, outside a blurry spot near Erevis' statue*
<@DeathStar> *Revi hangs back while X and Cheryl take up positions. Ren hops to and grows to her humanoid form, holding her side*

<@DeathStar> <Ren> Want me to throw you?
<@Jackieness> <Noire> "...mmmm...do it."
<@DeathStar> *Ren's eyes glow and she grabs Noire and lifts her up and hurls her at the spot, then falls to her knees, holding her bandaged arm and ribs; despite this, Noire sails fast and far, right at the spot*
<@DeathStar> *X opens a ripple and Cheryl leaps in coming in from behind and Revi follows the two. Taiga decides to creep along the flowers*
<@Jackieness> <Noire> *forms ehr Dark Edge and goes in slashing*
<@DeathStar> *Noire drives her weapon into the creature, but no visible wounds are seen; an insect like sound is made as it holds her up in the sky as rain begins to fall and it begins to slash into her body with invisible weapons and begins to try to rip her apart with something when X leaps onto it's bck and begins to stab with ripple blades and Cheryl pulls herself forward with her whip to try to attack*
<@Jackieness> <Noire> *tries to defend herself with the Dark Edge as best she can*
<@DeathStar> *Andrea appears and attempts to unleash all her power into the creature, but despite all of them attacking, whatever this thing is it's parrying them all and actually attacking back, as if it has multiple arms*
<@DeathStar> *Andrea gets launched right into the statue and breaks through it, while Cheryl and X are lifted up and slammed into the ground*
<@Jackieness> <Noire> *steps back and then summons multiple Daerk Arms and tries attacking mrom multiple angles at once*
<@DeathStar> *Revi seems to hang back, as if either not sure or not wanting to get in Noire's way*
<@DeathStar> *the invisible being deflects, appearing now and again, and it seems to be a giant insectoid like creature, but judging by it, is this really an Unknown, or a grunt? It wields, it's many arms to deflect, and keep Noire back, taking hits now and again, but then it brings down one of it's arms into Noire's leg to try pin her down, then does the same to Cheryl's arm and another to X's back shoulder*

<@Chaintan> 6*Miyuki leaps for it
<@DeathStar> *the creature turns and is hit by Miyuki and roars, completely shown now to be a terrible insect monster that looking at it makes the brain fry*
<@DeathStar> *it thrashes to get it's arms free that it pinned in the others, but Cheryl and X hold on*
<@Chaintan> <Miyuki> My children pull your legs and wings apart in our garden you giant annoyance
<@Jackieness> <Noire> *conjures her tendrils to grab a hold of it*
<@Chaintan> 6*Miyuki goes for a bite
<@DeathStar> *Taiga joins Miyuki and grabs onto it's body to begin yanking it apart* <Taiga> Not a bad idea
<@DeathStar> *Ren leaps forward in her fox form to chomp too*
<@DeathStar> *the creature wails at Miyuki eating it*
