<DeathStar> 6* Asteroid C has been slowly being brought up to speed technology wise and having it's systems updated and everything made more modern. So far things have been going smoothly the past few weeks and it seems that the boring part is nearly over

<DeathStar> <Taiga> The engines are all clogged up with crap after decades of disuse. I kept trying to run the engines to get them to dislodge it. When that failed, I went out there myself to try to blast them free

<DeathStar> <Taiga> *she rolls onto her back* I think we need a team of Gear users to go out there and do labor. And I don't mean part time users. Proper Gear users. <Lorelei> Hm. I know some of my kids trained in Gears, but more than a few also took Spirit classes

<Sathen> *Jelly ponders for a moment* Well the main booster assembly yeah, that'd be hard but why not smaller components that would bring them more up to par with current generation equipment?

<DeathStar> *Taiga watches, all cleaned up and points to a diagram* All you have to do is go in there and clean this out. *there are non-modified Gears right now since I don't think any of you have bios with Gears*
<XanTop> * Kellin stands there with his arms crossed, glancing out at everyone. Valen fidgets

<Sathen> *Jelly looks around like a deer in the headlights of a car* So...why did I follow all you people again?

<Sathen> Jelly> Wait, so there isn't a crash course on how to use these things? *walks over to one of the non-descript ones and looks at it*

<Seraphna> * Cookie sits crosslegged nearby and begins establishing a group link with all the pilots. "Why's that Aunt Taiga?"

<DeathStar> <Taiga> I just picture one of the kids shooting the engines and blowing us all up
<Seraphna> * Kaelan straps in and grins excitedly as she powers up.

<Jackieness> <Moira> *brings her gear around and then blasts out of the hangar* "Ok, just walkign makes the feet walk. Arma and legs do what I do."

<Seraphna> Cookie> "That's why Si Si went out there, I think. She can control the fires."
<DeathStar> *Lorelei turns and faces everyone*
<Sathen> *Jelly scrambles up into the cockpit and starts looking at a couple things, his tail flicking the auto-pilot on and a second later the hatch closes and Jelly is slammed face first into the seat as it follows after Moira*

<Seraphna> * Kalean smoothly guides hers to move to launch. "What he means is he slept through class again."
<XanTop> * Kellin watches them shifting around to stop Valen's drift then shifts around beside Lorelei.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei does a little demonstation for all of them, then boosts out the hanger doors*
<DeathStar> <Zegretta> H-Hey. *she tries to follow, overshooting a bit into space*
<Seraphna> * Kaelan boosts after Zegretta, then speeds to correct her path.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei slowly goes to the engines, moving at a speed the kids can follow*
<Sathen> *Jelly squirms around in the seat and gets situated, trying not to panic as he tries to learn on the fly how to use the Gear*
<DeathStar> *Zegretta overcorrects a few times and follows. Meanwhile Taiga muses at the lone Gear left behind*

<Jackieness> <Moira> *fires her thrusters and stops tumbling, turning to look back at the asteroid*
<XanTop> * Kellin moves ahead to get an idea of the engines.
<DeathStar> *Taiga scans it* Fancy. A personal Gear.
<Seraphna> * Cookie keeps the link up so the kids can coordinate together better.
<XanTop> * Valen does short bursts .
<XanTop> * Slowly catching up to Lorelei *

<Jackieness> <Moira> *fires her boosters and zooms toward the station boosters*
<Seraphna> Michelle> "Mmm, I should get myself one I think. Dunno if I can even make a mech if I bonded. Kellin can't even."

<DeathStar> *Lorelei stops at the giant boosters*

<Seraphna> * Kaelan gets ready, slowing herself with Lore. Almost overshooting her due to keeping an eye on Zegretta.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *fires her thrusters and lands on one of the boosters* "I made it!"
<Sathen> *Jelly's gear keeps following after Moira's*
<XanTop> * Kellin boosts back out from the engines. While Valen slows to a stop a little too far away and has to boost a bit more to catch up.
<Seraphna> * Sia and Lia hop on Taiga's lap and hold up a mech schematic.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei then begins to fly inside the giant engines* I hope no one turns this on
<XanTop> <Kellin> Be very careful not to damage the engines themselves. *he warns before going in after Lorelei.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan goes after her, Si stopping out front and keeping her senses on the engines themselves, prepared to retard and blasts that come out of them too early.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Aren't we out here because no one can turn this thing on?" *walks along the surface of the booster*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "I think they can but the muck is like, making the engines not push?"
<Sathen> *Jelly finally figures out enough to disengage the autopilot and move the Gear on his own* They won't stay on for extended periods but they can initate for a few seconds...which would likely barbeque anyone inside it.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei on comms> We are here because something inside the engine is clogged according to Taiga
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> And she can't burn it up
<XanTop> * Valen moves in to the point where he can land and walk since he's more comfortable with that.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Maybe its a rock."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "Maybe it's President Dias."
<Sathen> Jelly> Most rock will actually 'melt' after a fashion with enough heat...never heard of magma?
<DeathStar> *for those walking along the surface, they would lose sight of Lorelei who is flying inside the middle of it, to go deeper. Zegretta pauses, peering at the two groups splitting up*

<Seraphna> * Cookie nudges the stragglers by remining them the issue is inside the engine.
<Sathen> *Jelly moves his gear around slowly, wincing at the comm before he starts using the boosters to head after Lorelei; looking at a schematic of the engine as well to try and identify where the blockage is*
<XanTop> * Kellin drifts to the back to help in stragglers, which I think is mostly Valen.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Its big in here..." *tries turning on a spotlight* "And getting dark."
<DeathStar> *Zegretta flies inside the engine. After a bit, they find inside the massive engine, is a massive sticky blockage covering the entire thing*

<DeathStar> *it doesn't seem to allow any of the engines power to get through when heated up*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "OK, what are we looking at?"
<DeathStar> <Taiga on comms> I took samples when I was in there and am still running it
<DeathStar> <Taiga on comms> Beats me.
<Sathen> *Jelly slows his gear and keeps it stationary 'hovering' over the sticky mass* No idea...I'm a tech head, not a biologist or anything like that.

<DeathStar> <Taiga on comm> She likes a good fight
<XanTop> <Kellin> Should we try a beam saber or something first?

<Sathen> *Jelly muses for a moment* Did you try a couple of the weaker acids before Tai?
<DeathStar> *but it seems to heal up after a few*

<Seraphna> * Kalean equips the mech's blaster and aims at another part of it, taking a single shot.
<Sathen> *Jelly moves his gear farther back from the sludge*
<DeathStar> *the sticky stuff tries to grab at Kellin

<Seraphna> * Kaelan ahjusts her aim and fires at the edges of the part grabbing at Kellin.
<XanTop> * Kellin uses energy blasters to blast stuff back from him.

<DeathStar> *Lorelei unleashes lightning magik through her Gear, making it receed a bit with the others' attacks, letting Valen be seen. His gear partially melty*

<XanTop> * Kellin works on firing to keep the goo-stuff back from Valen.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan fires her mech's grapple line at Valen, then blast her mech backwaqrds.

<Sathen> *Jelly quickly starts looking at the gears systems> Well electricity seemed to work pretty well.

<Sathen> Jelly> Maybe a crushed up asteroid made of limestone would do it?

<XanTop> * Valen tries to get hsi gear to work right, drifting in a circle.

<XanTop> <Kellin> Maybe if we dislodged it it wouldn't pull the engines with it.
<Sathen> Jelly> Depends on how imbedded it is and whether it will just absorb the energy from the tractor beam...

<Seraphna> Cookie> "Coordinated effort. Attack the parts of it clinging to the engine and tractor it at the same time."

<Sathen> *Jelly muses a bit, having been studying more about this gear and pulling out its main weapon an arc-cannon* Ok...I'm officially calling dibs on this thing. But I'm gonna be making some changes soon.

<DeathStar> *Taiga gives Hess the okay to try to ripple it off the engine*

<Jackieness> <Airym> "Why they are best known for their many resort worlds, one shoudl not forget that they trade in virtually every commodity."

<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Well, it might be time to shine some light in their hearts. Plus I feel that they are the easier target compared to the Tsivrixsh and Erusian. And if the shapeshifters control both, destroying their "bank" is needed

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Basically. The Cartel government pretends to be legit and on paper it is
<Jackieness> <Airym> "They are more like your world's sorporate entities, but exagerrated in every way."
