<Seraphna> * Cookie works on getting up, yawning tiredly, leaving Pepper in bed for now.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Interesting place to dream. Anyway, if we're looking for our target, I think we should look for places of leadership, so I rented us a bus so we can drive. So lets go downstairs
<DeathStar> *Taiga grabs a backpack and heads down. Yuki cleans her fingers and goes into fox cub form, leapnig onto Erica's shoulder to sleep*

<DeathStar> *Taiga steps out of the hotel and she leads them to a small bus, with the back made up to have an entertainment system, kitchen, etc, much like camper.

<DeathStar> *Taiga walks off the bus and points at a large building* That corporation there runs a lot of Jarivan, and lots of inside sources claim they have fingers in the politics of Jarivan and others claim they might have fingers in the Cartel proper
<Jackieness> <Airym> "It is hard to say. Once we have returned to the Aquarius, we should use the medical scanners on board for a followup."

<ChadWinters> 6Cel peers over at the large building as she pulls out her datapad and reads up on it
<Sara> <Erica> So there's something weird coming for us, Taiga. Keep your heads up.
<Sathen> *Jelly glances between Taiga and Airym* Why? Why am I being threatened with physical violence?
<DeathStar> *It seems to be a standard corporation that oversees what buildings are allowed to be built, giving out permits, and other standard stuff. It has a standard company name, with the slogan A Better Jarivan*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Even with my research into spirit technology, magical energies are still dfficult for me to detect and analyze."
<Seraphna> Si> Just look for the fairy dust.
<DeathStar> *Cel would detect something coming from the building, like anti-something coming from it going up into the air briefly*
<ChadWinters> <Cel> That's odd..."
<Sathen> *Jelly pulls out his datapad and scans since he's a bit more familiar with magical stuff*
<DeathStar> *The datapad does the same, since the datapads have trouble detecting what is being projected. The air looks clear of any magical stuff*
<ChadWinters> 6Cel moves over to Taiga, showing ot to her.
<DeathStar> *Until a figure crashes into the ground half a mile away near the building*
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty makes a face and moves over to it
<DeathStar> <Taiga> I---- did someone just crash from the sky?
<DeathStar> <Yuki> I think that was who Mireille was talking about Eri
<ChadWinters> 6Cel looks over at towards the crash site. 1"Something did, if it was a person, it'd be hard for them survive something like that."
<Sathen> Jelly> And once again I wish my 'reader worked like it used to... *looks in the general direction*
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor follows Kitty, shrugging
<Seraphna> Si> "It's like that time Dias got kicked out of a spaceship. The poor building."
<Sara> <Erica> Oh, geez. -That's- the magic source? We better go see. *Erica starts marching that way*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Perhaps we should invetigate before the authorities have a chance to."
<Sathen> *Jelly checks to see if there's any calls being placed to the Jarivan Emergency Services that he can block to give them more time*
<ChadWinters> 6Cel moves with the others.
<DeathStar> *Yuki and Taiga follow. Kitty reaches it first. There's a tiny crator and a small girl of about 12 years old is stumbling out, wearing what looks like a typical girl clothing, a pink shirt and shorts. Jelly would see no such calls, but would likely detect vehicles are being called to the location from the Corporation nearby*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "This is perhaps one of the Maka."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> They are everywhere these days
<Sara> <Erica> ... Definitely is. Little lady? Are you all right?
<Chaintan> <Kitty> a magical girl?
<DeathStar> *The silver haired girl looks up at them, looking like she is barely able to stand near the corporation building* <Taiga> Maka. Apparently a race of magical girls that were brought over from the other side we think
<Seraphna> * Si muses and peers her over.
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty tries to scoop her up
<ChadWinters> <Cel> Hmmm. I wonder how she got here. 6She taps her her. 1"Maybe she was sent to this planet to do that protect thing they claimed they do. But that doesn't explain how she crashed.
<DeathStar> <Girl> There is...a great evil in there... need to stop it. *She collapses against Kitty, even as the delayed vehicles approach*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "We should get to cover."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... I think we should bounce. We can approach again later
<Seraphna> Si> "Well let's bounce then!"
<ChadWinters> 6Cel nods and moves to get away the area
<Sara> <Erica> Agreed.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "What about the Maka?"
<DeathStar> <Yuki> *turns and hurries. The tank like cars approaching. Taiga helps Kitty carry the girl*
<Sathen> *Jelly moves with them*
<Sara> * Erica helps too
<Jackieness> <Airym> *retreates with the others*
<Seraphna> * Si and Cookie cheese it with the rest.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "ths does confirm that our target is likely in this corporate tower."
<ChadWinters> <Cel> Possibly, yes
<Chaintan> <Kitty> We still have snacks and drinks in the bus?
<Sara> <Erica> Plenty of water if anyone's eaten the snacks
<Chaintan> <Kitty> cause if those things follow us we're not stopping for a bit
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Yes. *As they turn the corner, the tanks keep following*

<Seraphna> * Si blinks. "Are they tracking the Maka?"
<DeathStar> *Taiga turns* I guess someone needs to break some toys
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty makes a face, rounding another corner into a ripple to get them some distance*
<DeathStar> *Kitty leaps to the bus, while Taiga's eyes go golden, growing two extra tails*
<Sathen> *Jelly muses and then tries to create a jamming field around them to keep from being tracked*
<DeathStar> *Taiga throws out her hands, slowing the tanks down*
<Sara> <Erica> Why would they be after a Maka girl, though...
<ChadWinters> <Cel> Maybe that's what the strange readings I was getting on my datapad was. Some sort of anti-maka field.
<DeathStar> *Yuki leaps into the ripple*
<ChadWinters> 6Cel leaps through the ripple.
<Jackieness> <Airym> *moves through the ripple* "She can identify the shifter. That makes her a threat."
<Seraphna> * Cookie leaps through, Si holding out her hands and superheatng the ground under the tanks to cause their treads to damage.
<Sara> * Erica leaps through with the girl, probably
<Chaintan> <Kitty> Yuki, help me get her settled before I get the bus going
<DeathStar> *Taiga then leaps forward, tracking the two tanks and lands on top of one, doing 20 damage to the top of one's radar system while Jelly jams the other. Taiga then flips and and dashes in through the ripple*
<Sathen> *Jelly checks to see if his datapad is sending out a short range jamming field before jumping through as well*
<ChadWinters> <Cel> That's what I was beginning to think, Airym
<DeathStar> *Yuki nods and lays the girl in the back*
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty looks for first aid
<DeathStar> *Taiga's eyes stop glowing, her tails go backing to 5 and she collapses in a seat*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "We should move."
<Seraphna> * Si follows Taiga through the ripple after leaving the ground under the other tank in a slag. (Pyromancer, 10 + Fire Damange)
<DeathStar> *The silver haired girl groans and seems to be doing better once away from the building, and as Kitty and the others treat her, begins to open her eyes. The other tank wobbles and is stuck*
<Sara> * Erica brings water for the girl
<DeathStar> *Yuki puts a wet cloth on her forehead*
<Seraphna> * Si collapses, burning an ability point to restore Pyromancer as she rests.
<ChadWinters> <Cel> To think they've developed anti-maka technology already. That's interesting
<Sathen> *Jelly slumps in a seat for a moment before turning and looking towards the back, mumbling softly to himself*
<DeathStar> <Girl> Huh? Where am I? *she peers at all of them, then jerks to sit up, glancing about, then relaxes* Y-You all seem... nice? *she eyes them cautiously*
<Seraphna> * Si fuus and waves.
<Seraphna> Cookie> We're the Good Guys.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "We must consider our strategy carefully. This is a fortress, not merely an officew building."
<Sathen> Jelly> You know deary, that if you rush off straight to the Bad Guys home, you're gonna run into defenses...
<Chaintan> 6*Kitty leaves it to Yuki and them as she settles in to drive
<Chaintan> <Kitty> once Taiga and shi are in we're out
<DeathStar> <Girl> I-I know that. I didn't know they could just drop me out of the sky as I approach the sky.

<DeathStar> *Taiga waves from the seat, barely in sight* I-I'm here

<ChadWinters> <Cel> It's more than that, Airym. It appears it's projecting upwards in a pulse every so often.
<Sara> <Erica> So for one, the Cartel know about Maka. For two, they're specifically trying to counter them. I think this is a pretty big thing to be aware of, huh.
<DeathStar> <Girl> W-Why would you want to counter us unless they're bad!! *cheek puffs*
<Sathen> Jelly> I'd love to get a look at that tech...*muses for a moment* Are ya injured deary?
<ChadWinters> <Cel> It depends on your definition of bad. What you may call evil may be normal.

<Seraphna> Si'Chii> Either they're afraid of Maka or just feel Maka shouldn't be able to fly without paying a flight tax.

<Jackieness> <Airym> "Perhaps they in-vehicle computer should glitch."

<DeathStar> <Sabrina> It'll take a while before my power returns. *she holds her magic wand* Mister. Nothing can be done to really speed it up.

<DeathStar> *the side door leads to a dusty hallway and Taiga soon leads them to an employee work room. A single employee is there on break, eating a donut*

<Seraphna> * Cookie holds out a hand and tries to make the employee very, very sleepy.

<DeathStar> *Taiga moves on and judo chops head and walks onward to a more clean hallway. There is doorway with monitors, and someone in it, and other footsteps her and there. And an elevator at the far end*

<DeathStar> *Gor finds it on the top floor, in a room with a guard. Airym would find that the building is mostly empty of people, though she would find that there are some people being given a tour at this time of night, some politicans*

<Sara> * Erica sits and looks around, quiet
<kalonZombie> <Gor> I'm going to go upstairs, hack into the computer.
<ChadWinters> <Cel> I can go with him to watch his back if you want.
<Seraphna> * Si moves to follow her hubby.
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor moves to the upstairs, burning an ability point to get Foxfire back along the way
<ChadWinters> 6Cel looks over to Taiga to see what she wants to do

<ChadWinters> 6Cel nods and moves after Si and Gor
<DeathStar> *eyes the politicians, and moves for them, ogoing to the stairs*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "There is a tour of VIPs. Government officials."
<DeathStar> *the Yukis pause, one going with Gor, one following Taiga*
<DeathStar> <Yuki 2> I think we know what is going on there

<Jackieness> <Airym> "I will remain with Taiga so my technical assets are available."
<Sara> * Erica peers at the security room monitors
<DeathStar> *Erica would see that they are being led to an area tht looks isolated. And Taiga's group seem to be heading to cut them off with Yuki 2, and Gor's group to the roof with Yuki 1*
<Sara> * Erica decides to just hang back and watch the monitors for now
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: Top Floor/NEar the Roof
<DeathStar> 6* the elevator dings and opens
<DeathStar> *Yuki 1 bounces on her feet, chipper and bouncy, likely getting Yuki's more lively personality*
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor starts sneaking out and working his way to the computer
<ChadWinters> 6Cel peers out slwoly as she listens
<DeathStar> *Yuki peers at them and rolls her eyes, and dashes forward, running along the floor and drawing agro. Three guards leap out and eye Yuki, drawing out energy batons that cna kill. Yuki flashes her tails and runs off, drawing them off*
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor blinks, then works his way over the computer while they're distracted, using Master Hacker to just get right into it
<DeathStar> *As Gor nears it, a giant man grabs his hand and lifts Gor - one stayed behind*
<DeathStar> <Man> ... *He reaches for the alarm with his second hand*
<kalonZombie> 6*Gor uses the Foxfire ability he regained to send him to snoozetown
<ChadWinters> 6Cel moves in after Gor, then arcs with electricty as she moves to grab the second hand and shock him
<DeathStar> *Before the GM can see if the snooze work, Cel zaps him enough he'd not fall asleep and he drops Gor*

<kalonZombie> 6*He goes back to his Master Hackery
<DeathStar> *The man stumbles back, and grabs at Cel*
<Seraphna> * Si kicks out from behind using her BUnny-Fu to try and take him down.
<ChadWinters> 6Cel then swings her free hand for his head, dropping the electricity to straight up clock him
<DeathStar> *the combo drops the man, Defeated. The mana field is down*
<DeathStar> *Yuki stumbles in, a bit bloodied and wipes her lip* Guess we should head down now
<kalonZombie> <Gor> Aaaaand it's down.
<kalonZombie> <Gor> Yeah, let's go.
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<ChadWinters> 6Cel moves to the device and hooks her datapad up to it start downloading everything
<DeathStar> Location: Monitor Field
<DeathStar> 6* Erica would hear a boom as the wall shatters a bit
<Seraphna> * Cookie peers around.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Hm, what ws that?
<Jackieness> <Airym> *turns and sweeps with sensors*
<DeathStar> *Airym would pick up magic in the area*
<Sara> * Erica frowns
<Sara> <Erica> Pretty sure a wall blew somewhere
<DeathStar> *Erica would spot the magical girl having entered through the building wall, flying toward the bottom group*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "I am detecting a magical signature."
<DeathStar> *Yuki 2 looks stoic, peering around, and as they near the room, 3 large guards stand there. They spot the group and begin to transform into large dark one like creatures, with razor like tentacles*
<Sara> <Erica> *c* It looks like Sabrina's made her way in.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Great. Well that confirms it
<DeathStar> <Yuki 2> *c* Understood
<DeathStar> *Taiga activates her guantlets*
<Seraphna> * Cookie nods and holds out her hands, using Telepathic Goddess on one of the three, scramblnig whatever it calls a brain. (20 Damage)
<DeathStar> *Yuki spins her sword*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "If possible, I would like to collect samples from their inevitable corpses."
<DeathStar> *the one stumbles and Taiga leaps forward, locking onto two and attacks with a slash then uses foxfire missiles, the same target as cookie. It bleeds goo*
<DeathStar> *Yuki attacks and does 10 damage, destroying the saem target. It falls ovr, gooey. It seems each has 50 HP*
<Sara> <Erica> Gross.
<Seraphna> * Cookie burns an ability point to get TG back and activates Fae Dancer, stretching out her aura to speed up Yuki and and Erica. (2x Speed)
<DeathStar> *the other two leap in and begin to whip attack and one grabs Taiga and whip damages her, throwing her into the wall, doing 4 real damage*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... ungh
<DeathStar> <Yuki> ... *bounces, slower due to her duplication, but thanks to Cookie it helps. She runs, dodging her attack*
<DeathStar> *At that moment, Sabrina arrives and blasts one target with magic, blasting it into the wall*
<DeathStar> *aiming her wand*
<Seraphna> * Cookie then forms her guns and starts firing at the one blasted back. (6 Damage)
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Preparing for combat support. Retrieving 'spitfire' technical specifications." *closes her hand into a fist and forms a pair of guns <Nano-scale Construction>*
<Sathen> *Jelly-fox pokes his head up above Sabrinas shoulder and yowls*
<DeathStar> *Taiga lifts up and punches, doing 4 damage nad bounces back, At that moment, the other team arrives. Both Yuki leaps and recombine*
<Sara> <Erica> *c* It's a goddamn mess down here.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> ... They're way too strong..
<Sara> * Erica gets away from the monitors and cracks her knuckles as she moves to properly rejoin the others
<DeathStar> *Sabrina shifts and fires magic again at another, doing damage and throwing it back*
<Seraphna> * Si hurls a bolt of fire at the other one when it's thrown back. (18 Damage)
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Providing suppresing fire." *fires plasma pulses at the shifters*
<ChadWinters> 6Cel arcs with electricity again, and she moves in, staying under Airym's attacks.
<DeathStar> *the middle one falls over, down. The last one begins to attack with razor slashes. Up, Down, Left, Right, Left. Down, Slash*

<Seraphna> * Si ignites with a white flame aura around her body and starts punching into it as a response. (12 Damage, White Flame boost)
<DeathStar> *the creature leaps at Cel and begins to try to put a worm in her to transform her*
<DeathStar> *before being burned off*
<ChadWinters> 6Cel bounces back from the attack and pushes to get herself up
<Jackieness> <Airym> *knocks the slash aside with her left gun and then fires more pulses from the right gun*
<Sathen> *Jelly-fox growls, Foxy Angst taking over and his limiters popping as he darts in to start biting and clawing quickly before moving to another point to do the same*
<DeathStar> *Taiga and Yuki dash in, attacking twice, doing 12 damage, then shot by Airym. It goos and Sabrina dashes in and does magic with Jelly. The creature falls over, dead*
<ChadWinters> <Cel> Thank you. 6She grabs her blades tightly.
<Sara> * Erica stomps on it, for good measure.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> .... *she opens the door and the politicans are being bent over by a person, who is transforming into a creature like it, a worm forming*
<Seraphna> * Si breathes out as if finishes, peering for more enemies.
<Jackieness> <Airym> *moves over to the fallen one and sees if she can scan the worm it was trying to implant Cel with*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Heads up
<DeathStar> *Airym gets the data for later*
<Seraphna> * Si rockets in on fire stil and flying kicks at the creature. (12 Damage)
<ChadWinters> 6Cel twists and hurls a blade for the creatures tentacle
<Jackieness> <Airym> "More samples." *turns to the open door and moves in to flank the creature*
<DeathStar> *the creature is knocked off and transforms into the second in command of the company*
<Seraphna> Si> Fuuu! Freeze or get burned, wormbreath!
<Sathen> *Jelly-fox darts in still with his amped speed and again starts biting and clawing*
<DeathStar> <Man> .... *He reaches to bash the floor, cracking it, then reaches up to smash again*
<Sara> <Erica> If that ain't the most fucked-up shit I'm not sure what is.
<DeathStar> *then jerks and is hit by Jelly*
<Sara> * Erica hits him hard in the back of the head

<Sathen> *Jelly-fox darts back and sits next to Sabrinas feet, panting as his Limiters wear off*
<DeathStar> *Sabrina peers down* I don't sense anymore in the company but I felt more on my way down. <Taiga> ... so there are more on Jarivan
<Jackieness> <Airym> *scans more of the remains to gather precious data*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *she rubs the back of her head* I doubt they'll come to the company, or if they do they'll blame it all on this guy
<Sara> <Erica> I'm not surprised, but...
<Seraphna> * Si pants and does a peace sign, the flames around her going out. She then falls over.
<ChadWinters> 6Cel takes a few deep breathes. 1"That tracks with how they operate.
<DeathStar> *Taiga bounds the guy*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> What do we do with him? Bring a prisoner to the hotel?
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Or call the cops?
<ChadWinters> <Cel> It's doubtful the cops will know how to properly handle it. Let alone, if they aren't already taken over
<Sathen> *Jelly-fox aroo's before Foxy Angst wears off, and he transforms back; shaking his head* Oh spirits...what did Jerko do this time?
<Seraphna> * Si crawls to Gor and holds her hands up to be carried.
