<DeathStar> *Erevis points at pictures in the texts in regards to spirits* There is many lore text in regards to the spirits and their backstories that is much like our gods. *she shows a picture that looks like Thor in regards to the lightning spirit, and one that looks like Ama in regards to the Aska backstory*

<Seraphna> Alita> They can change their looks over time. Brooke looks quite different than she did as Undine.

<Seraphna> Jaime> And I have as sneaking suspicion that Sylph has changed her looks a bit after meeting her wife. *blushes a bit*

<Seraphna> Alita> "Well, Brooke died and was reborn, so her development and personality have become different from what she once was... it's like a melding of a past and present."

<Seraphna> Jaime> Just about anything... they might be mirrors... but they lived in a different world with different people and experiences. It sh-shapes us all differently.

<DeathStar> <Erevis> Celes told me that Aska, Shade, and Void were the first three. These books have Ama in Aska's legends. So unless Aska changed her appearance in the past 12,000 years

<DeathStar> <Erevis> Yes. I read about the original pool. Still, I have not read anything on the first three dying and coming back

<DeathStar> *Aska studies* I have not seen any of these beings over here. Even if their powers might be similiar to ours

<DeathStar> <Erevis> Curious. The texts here are pretty detailed in areas. And my datapad carbon dates around the same time as you. <Aska> We did not really care what the first people wrote

<DeathStar> <Aska> Change appearance. When a spirit dies, the pool of rebirth might be the closest thing. If a wind spirit died, we would need a new one. That is one reason Sylph is one of the youngest

<Seraphna> Alita> Well that keeps with Brooke's change too. Hmm.

<DeathStar> <Erevis> They say some relatives who never met each other retain genetic quirks

<Sara> <Ellie> I'm no scientist, but they can also retain trauma
<DeathStar> <Aska> Maybe. We have had to do it a few times. Sylph, Gnome, Salamander are a few
<DeathStar> <Aska> They are the youngest of the spirits
<DeathStar> <Aska> Well, until Neekito.
<Seraphna> Jaime> So far we're good on that front, Dad.
<Xanatos> <Xan> And what exactly is Neekito the spirit of?
<DeathStar> *Neekito blinks by the bookshelf, dusting*
<DeathStar> *Aska tilts her head* That I do not know. I just know she is more of a Geyze spirit compared to the Kumen ones
<DeathStar> <Aska> Or the recent new spirits that are being born
<DeathStar> *she refers to Ellie and Vyvy's kids*
<Seraphna> * Alita muses. "Perhaps the converging realities have simply opened up new rules and opportunities."
<Sara> * Ellie looks away, not saying anything on these topics

<Xanatos> <Xan> But you weren't a spirit before? And now you're alive and a bit more...spirit-y.
<Sara> * Ellie's gaze wanders a little
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Yes. My sister rashly learned magic and how to summon under Ellie. *her tail pats Ellie* Then did a blood ritual.
<DeathStar> <Neekito> Bringing me back. I am partially connected to Kito now, and am a spirit somehow
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> So a normal person can become a spirit under certain circumstances?
<Seraphna> * Jaime tilts her head. "That's... interesting at least."
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I would not advise it. The blood ritual she did with the book and materials, and sacrificing her own body was not good for her health

<Sara> <Ellie> I was very worried about her
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I am a spirit of no elements
<Xanatos> <Xan> Still, it seems like a fair trade off. I've done worse for less. 6* He reasons

<DeathStar> <Erevis> 12,000 years ago the drawings showed this to be green grass and flowers. I hope the temple is still here
<Seraphna> * Alita shivers a bit but then weaves some mana about them all to slightly warm the group.
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC frowns a bit at the sudden temp change. 1"It is colder than I expected."

<DeathStar> *they soon begin to approach ice and snow. Sylph begins to go into small form for the first time in a while, not doing great in the snow and Gnome lags. Selena eyes the map as they approach the bottom left of the Spiritalist map.*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan gives a slight shudder at the adjustment before walking along with Erevis, looking around.

<DeathStar> *the cave bends and turns, soon arriving in an underground room. There are books and ritual tools about, with beds and other stuff. It seems to have been a housing complex. An ancient's complex. Sadly, a lot of the stuff has been ruined after 12,000 years*
<DeathStar> *Selena blinks and looks around, picking up a book, eyeing the book and eyeing the pages, many ruined*

<ChadWinters> 6SPoC looks around as the walk through it, looking for anything that's not ruined
<Xanatos> 6* Xan pikcs up a tool, then coughs at some of the dust.
<Seraphna> * Alita muses. "I doubt we can recover any books, but if they recorded like the Magi at all... there might be stone impliments? I made Talia off a similar record."
<Seraphna> * Talia belatedly mews from Alita's cleavage.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... *she shakes her head as she peers at stuff. On the wall are drawings, one of them showing stuff. Some of it is smudged a bit due to the shifting of stuff*

<Seraphna> * Jaime uses Gnome's power to feel out the area and get a knowledge of how the area is laid out. Hoping for find hidden chambers, secret rooms, etc.
<Sara> * Ellie explores with Sylph, trying to comfort her
<DeathStar> *Gnome, if still combined, is likely getting seriously drained*
<Seraphna> * Jaime splits up then, since her player was assuming the GM would tell her when the duration was up!
<DeathStar> *Gnome flops over and looks tired, likely needing to go back to her area for a recharge*
<DeathStar> <Sylph> This place is creepy
<Xanatos> <Xan> And old.
<Seraphna> * Jaime picks her up to carry her. "That was amazing Gnome. I'll keep you safe till we get you back."

<kalonZombie> 6*Ceilia ooohs and starts carefully moving to a book to see if it can be opened without it crumbling to pieces

<DeathStar> *the book has the same sort of lore as the other books Erevis has found in that ancient language Erevis has been learning*

<Seraphna> * Alita rubs her head and moves over, working to contain the heat, Talia scrambles to hide goodies in her inventory.
<DeathStar> *Salamander counts them and nods, seeing she can take that load* Alright, lets take you home. *she holds out a hand to Xan and Spoc*

<Seraphna> * Jaime has a corner here because she likes to spend her time around him, and helps him with projects. There are several Megumi statues, so Megumi is always with them.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> *Quietly to Xan and Jaime* I am worried about something
<Seraphna> * Jaime blinks, whispering, "What's that?"
<Xanatos> 6* Xan glances at her curiously.

<DeathStar> <Erevis> I am began this to find something to help restore my powers to fight the other me
<DeathStar> <Erevis> But the more I go into this rabbit hole, the more I grow worried
<Xanatos> <Xan> That you'll be unsuccessful, or we'll uncover something we shouldn't?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> The gods of our world such as Ama might be tied into the spirits of this world. And the ancients... well they might be tied into Progenitors like Drasek and I.
<Seraphna> Jaime> "But... couldn't that be a good thing Mom?"
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I am beginning to wonder if I have more connection to this world than I would like to admit, and I wonder if it is become Jamie made it.

<DeathStar> <Erevis> I would like that, but I am not liking some of the directions it is taking. Just we should becareful. If there is connections in this way, there might be connections to you, Jaime, or you, Xanatos, or Megumi
