<DeathStar> <Shion> And they need to be questioned* But Riki has asked a Peacekeeper force to go up to Kumen to look into a problem. Apparently a few spirits have been feeling unwell lately. I have put a call out to any Alliance leader that wishes to join the mission. We will be leaving in 10 mins and to meet us in the shuttle port

<Xanatos> 6* Bix salutes and marches towards the shuttle port.
<DeathStar> *Cypher rises to get ready. Shion talks to Athena and asks her to look into something and Athena nods, moving off screen*

<DeathStar> *Cypher boosts the shuttle up into space hard enough to jolt anyone not buckled in*

<ChadWinters> 6The silver orb, slides back a bit from the change, bouncing against the back wall, flickering a bit.
<Seraphna> * Sammael taps on a datapad, yawning a bit, she often spends most days trading shifts with Drasek watching Airell.

<DeathStar> 6* Cypher peers around the upper level of Kumen's capital city and makes a bit of a face. While the upper level is still bustling in ways, and you might not noticing a lot of differences, there's huge areas that are missing to reveal all the way down now to give light down. And you can tell it's empty down there
<DeathStar> *with barely anyone on the middle level if you crane your head downward, and the bottom level if you can see really, really, really well far down there is basically empty, with the power down there barely running*
<DeathStar> <Cypher> This place has changed. *she looks around at the capital city being a shell of what it once was. The mood here has changed a lot too, with a few corporate buildings no longer even open as they head towards the center building that Riki lives in now*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The lower levels of the city seem to be emptying out."
<Xanatos> 6* Bix whirs and chirps as he leans in slightly to peer around the city.
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Seems so by what I've been told so far. But people have been colonizing the reviving parts of the planet right?
<Seraphna> Jennifer> Stands to reason they'd mostly move out of the garbage parts of the city.
<ChadWinters> 6The orb has taken a light blueish form, without many distinctive features. It peers around curiously. 1"I've only seen pictures of this place. This is interesting."
<DeathStar> <Cypher> I hear Riki barely squaked a voting majority in the election this past year.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Still.. there is nothing more eerie than a place once full of life that has suddenly become a void."

<DeathStar> <Riki> *she turns, her black hair much longer these days, and black dog ears twitching. She gives a Japanese bow to everyone and waves them to a side room*

<DeathStar> <Riki> Please come with me. *she speaks formally, and more complete sentences, much different than 5 years ago*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix slowly reaches out towards the tug rope, eyes wide.
<DeathStar> *She sits at a table and collapses her hands together. Shion and Cypher sit down*

<DeathStar> <Riki> I suppose Riki *pauses* I should give backstory to help you why I called you here
<DeathStar> *Riki waves her hand in the air and brings up screens* I had Wolfe go around and get images and information for me to help me present this for you. *she brings up images of Kumen all over*
<DeathStar> <Riki> The terraforming project has been almost entirely completed. We have forests. *she drags the images of the forest up with a hand* Lakes. *drags* Basically we have discovered Kumen is like a mirror image of Geyze in ways and worked on that. *she brings up an imagwe of Geyze and Kumen, showing what areas are swapped*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix holds the rope up with Junior probably attached and wiggles, then chirps in glee and sets him back down to repeat the tug of war game, adding little whirs of battle music.
<ChadWinters> 6Id flickers a bit, looking staticy here and there as it studies the images.
<DeathStar> <Riki> Working on this it was fairly easy to repair Kumen and bring it to life with the spirit data Tora began long ago. *she brings up the spirit eggs* That was made for the Aquarius
<kalonZombie> 6*Bix would find Junior is fairly strong for his age, following after his dad, though a robot of adult size would overpower him for sure
<DeathStar> <Riki> The first three being Aimee, Mireille, and Yulindhe, then from there more spirits were made
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Hmmm...."
<DeathStar> <Riki> *she swipes the images clear* Now spirits are becoming more common - the corporations are making spirits based on the data to help people, and we have various multiple kinds. And life on Kumen has been booming forward thanks to the spirit energy. We have almost caught up to Geyze in that area
<Xanatos> 6* Bix places Junior on his shoulder and walks into the side room, blinking at being late and eyes the ground, slowly shuffling up behind the others.

<kalonZombie> 6*Junior's tail wags as he keeps chewing on his tugrope
<DeathStar> *Riki peers down, and begins to revert back to her slang speaking* But Riki has now discovered something. A few of the spirits are now dying and more are growing sick
<ChadWinters> 6Id tilts it's head. 1"Is there any idea why?"
<DeathStar> <Riki> Riki has asked Tora to come when she can, since she made the first three, but it may take some time
<DeathStar> <Riki> Not yet. Riki is hoping you all might find out why the spirits are breaking down
<ChadWinters> <Id> Are Spirits known for getting sick?
<Seraphna> * Jennifer frowns a bit. "So something is hurting or draining them, most likely."
<kalonZombie> 6*Junior sees his Momma R talking to the nice people and paws at her, rope still in his mouth, but he doesn't make any noises, knowing Mommy is doing work

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If they are made... could something be wrong with the process to birth them?"

<DeathStar> <Riki> Maybe. *she rises* Are you up for a trip to where the spirits are getting sick?
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Sure."
<Xanatos> <Bix> Up for = trip!
<ChadWinters> <Id> Yes. The more data, the better.
<DeathStar> *Riki calls out* Wolfe - Bigsby.

<Xanatos> 6* Bix places Junior down off of his shoulder and mimics the pat.

<kalonZombie> 6*Junior does that thing where he runs in place on the floor for a bit before hauling around the apartment again

<Seraphna> Jennifer> It's her shuttle, right?
<ChadWinters> 6Id stops, looking at Riki. 1"Adjusting plan." 6It drops it's blue form and floats to a chair, pressing against it.
<Seraphna> Sammael> "Worst case I might be able to convey us."
<DeathStar> <Riki> It is Big's shuttle really.
<DeathStar> <Riki> I think his mother was trying to teach him
<DeathStar> <Riki> *sits with Bix to fly with him*
<Seraphna> * Jennifer blinks a bit. "His mother? Which one?"
<Xanatos> 6* Bix chirps and flies them up and then away, then pauses and adjusts to go the other direction, nodding to himself.
<DeathStar> <Riki> Do they both know how to fly? Oh my
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Well... Cheryl does... so she was here?"
<DeathStar> *Cypher pops something to relax as Riki flies with Bix*
<DeathStar> <Riki> We visited and she visited sometimes
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> Location: Outer Villages
<DeathStar> 6* They soon arrive in what looks to be medieval type villages, only they have technology, a teleporter, and just 30 miles away a major city like you might find on Earth

<ChadWinters> 6Id floats towards a window, moving past Bix and Riki to peer out and look at the area
<Xanatos> 6* Bix glances down at the navigation and jerks again to spin them around and bring it in for a landing outside the village.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "He is a rough driver!"
<Xanatos> <Bix> Status = Okay!
<ChadWinters> 6Id bounces off the windshield, a seat and rolls along the floor
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Alright there Khadgar?"

<ChadWinters> 6Id flickers and rises off the ground, spinning to face Jennifer. 1"What?"
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Old geek reference."
<Seraphna> Sammael> "I am a terrible influence on her."
<DeathStar> *Riki stares at them all - as if wondering if they are really heroes
<DeathStar> *then steps out, adjusting her kimono like clothes*
<ChadWinters> <Id> I feel file that in to my useless knowledge bank.
<ChadWinters> 6Id turns and floats after Riki
<DeathStar> *Cypher and Shion step out and look around the village. It looks rather normal. But for such a small village, three spirits are moving about. A wind spirit, a water spirit, and an earth spirit. Each working to do stuff*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix adds a parameter to the shuttle to play his marchign song on start up, then gives a slight 'he he he' and then gets up and marches out, repeating the song out loud.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *raises a brow as she disembarks*
<Seraphna> * Jennifer muses, trying out some of her pact skill now in tandem with her own Spirit Channeling, feeling out for any oddities in the energy about the area.
<DeathStar> *if anything, it feels super spirity. Jennifer would feel super charged*
<DeathStar> *Riki walks to a house, made up to be a sick house*
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Whooo... wow... you sure they're getting sick? This feels... this is a TON of energy."

<Xanatos> <Bix> High energy? 6* He tilts his head, curious, not able to feel himself.
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "The spirit energy here is intense..."
<Seraphna> * Jennife peers around the sick house.
<DeathStar> <Shion> You can summon Bix. Maybe if you try to summon you can feel it
<ChadWinters> <Id> Perhaps it's too much for them to handle. Much like too much adrenaline can wear out the human body.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix holds up his finger like he just had an idea and points forward focusing.

<DeathStar> *Riki opens the door and steps inside. In the bed is fire spirit, who is breaking down. One can see the spirit energy vanishing off the spirit as her body goes see through, as her energy fades away. Literally like a body breaking apart on a molecular level. A summoni is holding her hand, trying to give energy to keep her there*
<ChadWinters> 6Id steps in, scanning the body as it's own form flickers
<DeathStar> *Bix would feel what Jennifer talked about, and Salamander appears, peering about. She makes a slight face for a second, then about at all the spirits, hand on her hips, shaking her head at the other spirits - always a bit colder to them.* <Salamander> ... these aren't the same ones I met years ago. What is this?
<Seraphna> * Jennifer frowns and moves over in concern, feeling out the energy directly around the spirit and the spirits. "Breaking apart..."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Lady Salamander..."
<Xanatos> <Bix> Warning - Unstable energy. Excessive amounts!
<DeathStar> *Shion and Cypher look over the spirit*
<ChadWinters> <Id> Perhaps the overload of Spirit energy is burning out the connections that bind them.

<Xanatos> <Bix> Salamander = Help? Or | Salamander = In Danger?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Did you not consider any danger to Salamander before you summoned here?"
<DeathStar> *Jennifer would not feel anything unusual. The summoni from Kumen is doing what a summoni from Geyze might, but it seems the spirit's body is just breaking apart. A few moments later it just vanishes*
<Xanatos> <Bix> No!
<DeathStar> <Salamander> Hm? I feel find. But... *she muse, hand on her chin*
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Hrm..." *she blinks* "No... damnit... I couldn't detect anything actually wrong... it was like she was just... coming apart."
<Xanatos> 6* Whether Bix was responding to Sasha or reacting to the spirit vanishing...
<ChadWinters> <Id> Intriguing. 6Id looks up at the pieces flicker away. It then turns to Salamander, moving close and flickingering a bit as it scans Salamander
<DeathStar> <Salamander> I am not as knowledgeable as Aska or Shade, but it does feel like Kumen is beginning to gather a lot of spirit very fast
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Is the planet simply not using enough in excess? Or is something possibly causing it to happen..."
<DeathStar> *Salamander seems pretty stable*
<DeathStar> <Salamander> *Rubs her head* Well, I have theories, but they're probably all wrong
<DeathStar> <Salamander> Want to hear them anyway?

<DeathStar> <Salamander> Well, I know Aska and Shade had strict rules
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Of course. I'm a doctor, not a summoner... yet."

<DeathStar> <Salamander> 1 fire spirit per planet. No more, no less. And these jokers up there are not the same spirits on Kumen I met 5 years ago, so I have to assume they either died, or they're more copies of the elements.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix listens intently, considering.
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Like the copies that the Summoni students call on for training?"
<DeathStar> <Salamander> I remember Aska drilling that into my head. Never make another fire spirit. Now, granted I had a kid and you would think that might break the rule. But being a half-ling it seems okay
<ChadWinters> <Id> Too many available to split the magic. Causing them to have short lives.
<DeathStar> <Salamander> Maybe, but they're all me technically. I'm splitting my consciousness. Right now there's 20 of me down on Geyze
<DeathStar> <Salamander> Afterward, they come back to me with their memories and I learn what they were doing
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "So it's possible that they're doing it wrong. Creating new Great Spirits instead of summoning copies of a central True Spirit."
<DeathStar> <Salamander> I guess if 200 Salamanders were summoned, that might be a problem
<ChadWinters> <Id> And what if one were to stay out longer? Would it degrade?
<DeathStar> <Salamander> I talked to Gnome and she was given that same order too
<Seraphna> * Jennifer then tilts her head. "Are you the actual Salamander or a copy Salamander?"
<Xanatos> <Bix> Copy! Bix = Novice.
<DeathStar> <Salamander> Actual. I typically show up when you guys call
<Xanatos> 6* Bix jerks, not expecting that.
<ChadWinters> 6Id moves it's arm to it's face. 1"Are the ones on Kumen copies of each other or are each one different?
<DeathStar> <Salamander> A copy of me is not chatty
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "Interesting... I'm guessing Celcius answered my call at least the second time then as well."

<DeathStar> <Salamander> I just run on orders and do as I told if I am a copy
<Xanatos> 6* Bix nods twice at that, keeping in mind for the future.
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "So would a litmus test for a true spirit be to ask it some questions without an easy answer?"

<DeathStar> <Salamander> Now, I know Gnome was given the same order. 1 Earth spirit. But it isn't an issue. The pool was broken
<DeathStar> <Salamander> Hm. It HAS happened. And I felt the death

<Xanatos> <Bix> Kumen spirits = Too fractured?
<Seraphna> Jennifer> "So... we should see if the other spirits here are true spirits or copies. If they're all true than their power is simply being fractured off too much."
<DeathStar> <Salamander> I still don't even know how they're making them. They have no pool of rebirth. How they did the first group is beyond me
<ChadWinters> <Id> Depends. Seems it's ok if they are extensions of the Spirit. If these are each different spirits, that chagnes things

<DeathStar> <Ymir> One or two newer spirits have dissolved by some corporations that might be shoddy, and I have submitted their names to organizations for punishment - it is essentially like a crime. Making someone with a low lifespan just to die in my opinion. *she turns the screen* It's actually the older spirits that are vanishing the most. Including the first fire, water, earth. All of them are gone.

<Seraphna> Jennifer> In general, clones are less stable than naturally born things because of something to do with their birth. For example, a chicken's egg can only properly hatch with an enzyme from the mother.
