<DeathStar> 6* It has been four days since the crisis with the other team, and more than a week with the last session with this team. Erevis has been studying the books, seeing if there is anything about spirits in them, while also looking for stuff that is of interest for themselves

<Kaelan> * Alita sits looking eye to eye with Talia, then slowly moves a chess piece on a board between them.

<DeathStar> *Erevis rubs her eyes and sets the books aside* I am not seeing much about the spirit situation up on Kumen. *Neekito cleans the bookshelves*
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC peers over her sketch pad at Erevis, then goes back to drawing on it
<Xanatos> 6* Xan has been trying to repair the device they recovered, occassionally making very very long distant calls to Kane for tips.
<DeathStar> 6* Xanatos would find the device has a lot of ancient spirit tech in it and has parts that seem to be missing in areas. Likely he cannot fix it without finding rare spirit tech parts
<Xanatos> 6* Xan tries to make note of everything the best he can so he can deliver the list to Erevis later.

<DeathStar> 6* As both teams arrive via teleport, they would find Riki pacing in another Japanese outfit, wearing out her carpet, in front of Tora, an older looking version of Taiga - well, she probably once looked a lot like Taiga, but time and events have changed her looks to look more like a relative of Taiga than a clone. Tora leans on a cane now, watching Riki as Celes, Cypher, and Shion arrive with whoever decides to arrive. Sylph stands with Ellie, as well

<DeathStar> <Tora> Kumen was spiritless and a dead world basically, and I looked into it, and asked questions. There was evidence, when I and Sen ventured out, that Kumen had spirits once

<DeathStar> <Tora> Now that we know that Geyze and Kumen was connected, via the Spirit's World, that makes sense to me
<DeathStar> <Tora> You have to remember that the humans on it have only been on it for like 200 years or so. Kumen was around a lot longer than that. Hapian's first written records was 12,000 years ago, and the ancients lived on Geyze long before that
<DeathStar> *Cloe follows Cherie and Ruhi in the background, looking a bit like Bonnie and tries to climb a table to show off*
<DeathStar> <Tora> Long story short, Sen and I used the spirit's remnants and researched them, trying to learn about them a bit
<Chaintan> 6*Ruhi puffs her cheeks and is quick to scold, cause she'll get hurt otherwise and to get down

<Kaelan> Jennifer> How long did you let spirit eggs mature before hatching?
<DeathStar> <Tora> There was some strange things we learned, and some things that matched up

<DeathStar> *Tora goes quiet, perhaps trying to put it into words* Many of the spirits were like the spirits today. Wind core there, fire core, and so on. But there was also a wind core when examined that felt off. Not anti really, and dark isn't quite the right word either but maybe closer. But dark isn't it either, because we have a Dark Spirit, Shade

<DeathStar> <Tora> After years of working on the process and failure after failure of trying to give birth to a spirit, we decided they needed at least 3 years in an egg, and then to be touched by a person who was in great need and also would love them. Not use them. It is why me and Sen never activated them

<DeathStar> <Tora> And why I put the egg on the Aquarius

<Kaelan> Alita> Perhaps the reverence of the spirits on Geyze works much like intimacy with them as Summoni on some scale. But that effect would mean convincing Kumenites to start seeing them as diefic.
<Xanatos> <Simon> ... is there an ailing spirit nearby that we could examine?
<DeathStar> <Riki> Yes. I have gathered them all in the halls below. Follow me.

<DeathStar> *the elevator goes down and Riki leads them to a large room with spirits hanging out. Some summoni are with them but, but a depressing number are masterless. It seems the number of spirits have dropped down to 50ish*

<Sara> <Ellie> Ancients, huh... My parents were researching the First Ones' technology but I barely know anything about it...

<DeathStar> <Celes> The only other source of a lot of Ancient tech is the Magi's Tower and village, or the Summoni's

<Kaelan> * Alita holds out her staff and creates a zone of summoning, making things easier on Summoni and Summons alike.

<DeathStar> <Ymir> A few spirits have simply vanished, in addition to the breaking down. Maybe they ran away, I am not sure. But they were not summoned away

<Kaelan> * Alita seems to be feeling the energy flow even as she calls another spirit. “Did you feel anything odd, coming here?”

<DeathStar> *Simon does not feel anything affecting the spirits in such a way*
<DeathStar> *Cloe tugs Cherie, trying to get her away*

<DeathStar> <Brooke> *she turns* Anything odd? I think you should not call anymore spirits, is what I think

<Xanatos> <Simon> I sense nothing malicious. But the energy here...is very strong.

<DeathStar> <Brooke> You are just adding more spirit energy to an area that is full. I think Salamander already said that
<DeathStar> <Brooke> You might be making a major mistake if you add anymore. Even if these spirits are fading, the energy level on Kumen has not gone down

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Hmmm... then it would likely be better to disperse them."
<Sara> <Ellie> That is... a very troubling but useful piece of information
<Kaelan> * Alita nods, frowning. “Sylph, when you first arrive with us, did you feel anything else off? Perhaps a shift in the energy that flows through you?”

<DeathStar> <Brooke> It would probably not matter in regards to the energy build up.
<ChadWinters> 6Id kneels down infront of one of the Kumen spirits, scanning it a bit. 1"And if too much builds up in an area, what happens?"
<DeathStar> <Brooke> You are not getting me. *Brooke's scans are much like Salamander's the other day - normal. The Kumen spirit's are fine right now, though some are starting to break down*
<Kaelan> Alita> Energy building like this... I would think it would bolster you all, instead these spirits are coming apart... is it too much energy for them to handle?”
<Xanatos> <Simon> Hm. 6* He focuses, trying to specifically pinpoint how different it may or may not feel here than back on Geyze.
<DeathStar> <Brooke> The build up is all of Kumen
<Xanatos> <Simon> As if all the the energy summon has no way to dissipate natually?

<ChadWinters> <Id> I apologize. I'm still trying to learn about how spirit energy works.
<Kaelan> Jennifer> Kind Of sounds like Kumen has a vein that’s about to burst that needs draining...

<DeathStar> <Brooke> We spirits are powerful beings full of spiritual energy and even breaking apart, that energy is going all over Kumen.

<DeathStar> <Brooke> So if you keep adding Geyze spirits, you are just throwing more spirit energy into the pot that is ready to blow up in your face
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "...since energy is not destroyed... it has to go somewhere... and that is into the atmosphere."
<DeathStar> <Brooke> *pauses at the touch and lets out a breath* Sorry. It seems the spirit energy is making me erratic

<Xanatos> <Simon> Anything is possible. 6* He wonders how Geyze dissipates it's energy in comparison.

<Kaelan> Jennifer> There are 50 spirits here but only a few summoners.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix picks her up and holds a hand.

<Kaelan> Jennifer> On Geyze, there are tons of summoners and few actual spirits.
<Sara> <Ellie> Spirits should have been introduced more gradually to the world... but hindsight is obvious. We need to find a way to save them.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "As I recall, there was an agreement among the Great Spirits on Geyze that would limit this scnario. Kumen is mass-producing spirits."
<Xanatos> 6* Simon sits down cross legged and begins to focus on his magics, trying to figure out if he is able to channel ot manipulate the energy present, to bring some into himself.
<Kaelan> Jennifer> What happens when you surge water through a pipe but don’t have anywhere for it to flow out of?
<ChadWinters> <Id> Yes, that would make sense. So then it's more of a side effect. 6Id crosses his arms as he thinks. 1"Riki, are you able to put a halt on spirit production?"
<Sara> * Cherie chases her sister while Bix and Ruhi are occupied

<Chaintan> 6*Being as high up she is, Ruhi keeps an eye on Cherie and Cloe
<Xanatos> 6* Bix grins and follows the girls so Ruhi can keep them in sight.
<Kaelan> Jennifer> What I’m saying is the missing item in the equation here are people that work with Spirits.

<Kaelan> Jennifer> There should be more. A lot more.
<Sara> <Chelsea> So in your analogy, the pipes are summoners.
<Kaelan> Jennifer> They are the spouts. The pipes are Kumen itself.
<DeathStar> <Ymir> I can try to get the summoni that came here to work with the summons. That might save 10-15 of them

<DeathStar> <Shion> That still saves too many of them. *turns to look at the others and Sasha* Sasha, I know you look after school, but you mind taking a few days off to look for a cure on Geyze? Talk to the Magi or summoni for something that might help?
<Kaelan> Jennifer> Without a place for the water, spirit energy to flow out of, spouts or summoners, the Kumen pipe bursts.

<Xanatos> <Simon> Could we get some of the summoners from the school to come up here and form bonds with this summoner-less spirits?
<DeathStar> <Shion> I want to question Tora some more on the egg thing

<Xanatos> 6* He says, glancing to Shion and Sasha, since I assume the pulling the energy into himself didn't work.

<DeathStar> <Bonnie> In return, we protect the mage, and help them. If the magi dies, we can survive for a time.
<Kaelan> Alita> Like Delgi used the machines themselves for a long time.
<DeathStar> <Bonnie> But we begin to eat into our own mana reserve, and will fade away. Unless we find another person who has magic abilities to make a new pact.

<DeathStar> <Bonnie> If nature sustains a spirit, and they are making 10 fire spirits, you would think there is not enough fire element to sustain them
