<DeathStar> *Erevis moves over to a large cave entrance, big enough for a shuttle. IT seems to be a side entrance to the location that Riki gave them. It has massive crystals and inside is a strange woman examining them*

<DeathStar> *as they emerge in a large cavern, they see an Ancient machine that is freed, and it looks at lot like the one that Xan made, but it's.. .different somehow. Also the Cartel agents in Macross uniforms have a ton of sprites in jars, and a single spirit captured*

<Xanatos> 6* Xan slowly moves to try and flank, as stealthy as he can muster.
<Kaelan> * Jaime narrows her eyes.
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC flicks her light off as she sneaps up to Xan, kneeling down beside him.
<DeathStar> 6* The cavern is rather wide open, with lots of rocks and open area. One can keep to the dark. The agents have 3 large spotlights working to keep them in the light*

<Kaelan> * Alita whispers a word of power and creates a summoning field, empowering summon attacks and combinations for a while.

<DeathStar> *Gnome sits with her crystal. Yuki eyes the scene and Erevis and Selena do too. There seems to be 15 of them*
<Xanatos> <Xan> Power. 6* He motions to the generators.
<DeathStar> *the engineers are nearly finished right now, needing just a few more minutes*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan tries to move stealthily to one generator, leaving the other for SPoC.
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC pulls up her rifle, aiming it towards a generator. 1"I can hit one of them, hopefully disable it.
<Kaelan> * Alita powers up her staff, looking at the other wire.
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC eyes him move off and then makes a face and moves towards the other generator
<Kaelan> * Alita shrugs and instead starts to whisper a more advanced fire spell.
<DeathStar> *they seem oblivious right now. Erevis follows Xan over to the one. *
<Xanatos> 6* Xan would wait for SPoC to get into place and looks to see if he can disconnect the wire.
<DeathStar> *Selena waits to pounce, holding her sword, and Yuki rubs her gloves*
<Kaelan> * Jaime whispers to Gnome that they should join as soon as the machine is off.
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC, if get's there without any trouble, eyes the generator, then the wire, looking for a way to disable it.
<DeathStar> *Gnome peers up, eyeing her a bit, then puts it away and sighs, following*
<Kaelan> * Jaime moves wit her, waiting to combine when the battle starts.
<DeathStar> *the two are not noticed going to them. The generator has a complicated series of wires*

<DeathStar> *the engineers get the Ancient Machine to power up*

<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC holds her hand up with 3 fingers, then begins counting down

<DeathStar> *the lights go off, once the generators do, and once it goes pitch black, the engineers pauce*

<Xanatos> 6* Xan shrugs to himself and pulls up his pistol, firing stun shots for just under the lights since the engineers were nice enough to give him a big target.
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC leans around the generator and pulls up her rifle, eyeing those with the helmets
<Kaelan> * Jaime combines with Gnome, then directs their power to start freeing the sprites.
<ChadWinters`> 6She flicks it to stun and begins firing shots
<DeathStar> *Jaime would find her ability halved for some reason once she combines. The team gets half of the enemy down right away, since Erevis, Yuki, and Selena aid, but the other engineers go behind rocks and take cover, getting their weapons ready*

<Kaelan> * Alita flares fire around the Engineers, using her staff to try and knock a few out with heat flashes.
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC moves around the generator the opposite way, waiting for her eyes to readjust to the darkness.
<DeathStar> *Alita would find herself being wind blasted bckwards into a rock wall*
<Sara> * Erica moves in to punch someone in the face
<Kaelan> * Alita gasps and grunts with the impact.
<DeathStar> *as Erica moves in, an engineer rushes in and tries to swing his gun, trying to counter her punch*

<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC then moves out the other side and raises her rifle up, waiting for someone she can see to shoot
<Xanatos> 6* Xan moves, not needing light to see, waiting for the last minute before he would try move up close stun shots.
<DeathStar> *Jaime meanwhile would find herself surrounded by rock, trapping her in a rock prison. Spoc and Xan are attacked by flame attacks*

<DeathStar> *As Jaime frees herself, Erevis lands against her, wind thrown. Selends peers about*
<DeathStar> *an engineer rushes for the Ancient machine, reaching for the button to activate it.

<DeathStar> *with most of the engineers down but 3, who are hiding right now*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan's neck tingles and his whips around, aiming to fire if it's not a face he recognized(still all stun)
<Kaelan> * Jaime frowns and concentrated on Gnomes power, trying to feel the engineers through the ground.

<DeathStar> 6* Standing behind Xanatos is a woman with long green hair and a wind aura around her. She looks like she could be Sylph's sister, but has larger breasts. But something feels off about her. She has a dark aura*

<DeathStar> *one of the engineers reaches into a bag, putting on one of the gauntlets from the drawings that matched Imogen's set, and a mask that looks a bit like Imogen's, but his is more sinister. It melts and attaches*
<DeathStar> *Sylpg reappears with Ellie, landing near them*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan lands at the other side of the cave, groaning.
<DeathStar> *Standing behind Alita, she would feel a spirit*

<Kaelan> * Akita summons a spirit shield around herself after burning a stamina.
<DeathStar> *Spoc would feel a large rock land on her back, doing 2 HP damage. Standing over her is an older looking Gnome like girl, with shorter hand and a wicked grind, the same aura*

<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC is hit and slams against the generator and drops with a grunt.
<DeathStar> *The fire spirit blasts Alita, and blinks, as the spirit looks confused as the attack doesn't do as much, then just grabs at Alita to throw her
<Xanatos> 6* Xan pushes himself to his feet, then growls slightly and shoves his head forward, as he does that a beam of energy erupts out from his left eye, going toward the machine.
<DeathStar> *the wind spirit turns the machine on, after putting the innocent spirit in*
<Kaelan> Jaime> Gnome... do you... feel anything wrong here?
<ChadWinters`> <SPoC> That hurt. 6She winces as she rolls over to look up at the evil Gnome.
<DeathStar> *The wind spirit blinks as the machine is damaged and sparks and eyes Xanatos*

<Kaelan> * Alita flies, but sends a glut of flame at the wires leading up the machine.
<DeathStar> *then eyes Alita as she melts it*

<DeathStar> <Wind Spirit?> Prisons. Yeah. Those stupid ones trapped us after we couldn't be "cured" from our "corruption"
<Kaelan> (I did specifically aim at the wires and not the machine)

<DeathStar> <Water Spirits> But our poor sister was nearly destroyed. Her imprint is in this machine you damaged. We just need to reimprint her spirit into a new spirit

<Kaelan> * Jaime shrinks considering who all is yelling at her.
<DeathStar> *the masked Cartel with the glove is sneaking up on the corrupted spirit; apparently with the mask she can't detect him*

<Kaelan> Jaime> Stop...
<DeathStar> <Earth Spirit> Just have to keep things moving. Once you're dead, there will be another little Earth spirit
<Xanatos> 6* Xan sneaks up on the cartel sneaking, wanting to take him down quietly.
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC trains her rifle on the Earth spirit.
<Kaelan> Jaime> I won’t let you hurt her.
<DeathStar> *Gnome shrinks. Sylph pauses, unsure if they should stop him or not*
<Kaelan> * Jaime steps up, keeping the Earth spirit trained on her. “You’re only making it seem like you are corrupt!”
<DeathStar> <Earth Spirit> I won't have to. Aska and Shade will use her up, or you will, or any of the Ancients. Ha ha.
<Kaelan> * Jaime shields Gnome.
<DeathStar> *she begins to bring down the area, the plce shaking when the Cartel agent leaps on with the glove. The glove draining and sucking the spirit's life and power away*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan jerks to try and snag him but trips with the shaking and stumbles.
<DeathStar> <Cartel> .... *the mask glows as it begins to turn the Cartel agent into what looks like a spirit for a second*
<Kaelan> * Alita tries a reverse of her summon strengthening, trying to weaken the Dark Earth Spirit’s effect.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> What in the world? That is not like Imogen's mask
<Xanatos> 6* Xan tchs and pulls up his pistol to fire stun shots for the cartel guy's back.
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC watches. 1"It would appear not. Perhaps it was created to counter the spirits." 6She fires a stun shot for the Dearth Spirit
<DeathStar> *The cartel agent drops and falls off. The Earth spirit eyes Xan, then warps out as the place begins to fall, rocks falling all over*
<DeathStar> *a colomun toppling over. The trapped sprites try to escape*
<Kaelan> (Didn’t he fire after...?)
<ChadWinters`> <SPoC> We need to get out of here now before we're crushed.
<Kaelan> * Alita reaches out and starts bursting the sprite jars open.
<Xanatos> <Xan> Gnome can you stablize this!? We need to arrest these people! 6* He tries to remove the relics from the stunned guy.
<DeathStar> *the sprites fly out. AT that moment, a shuttle lands*
<Kaelan> Alita> Sylph, get ready to teleport us!
