<DeathStar> *Lorelei betweens the two, then continues to walk, feeling out for gods, though she doubts they will be on this planet, but likely in the darker areas of the Cartel*

<DeathStar> *Lorelei looks around and moves into an alley* There we go. Just what I wanted to find. *she points at a dog that looks hungry enough to eat the team up*

<Seraphna> * Kaelan looks confused. "It's just hungry I think..."

<Ortho> <Rada> Power? Huh.
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen pauses in pulling out his sword and slides it back into place without saying anything.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Oh. To make it more challenging.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan tilts her head.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Lore here granted them a new power. 6He looks to Rada
<DeathStar> *Lorelei pulls out meat and drops it in front of the team, and beside the dog, two more appear, eyeing the team and show their teeth - wanting that meat*
<Sara> <Kaori> ...Befriend... a puppy.
<Sara> * Kaori raises an eyebrow
<Sara> <Kaori> Well they do look unfriendly.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Psssst... use the new magic."
<Ortho> <Rada> Probably because they're starving.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan holds out her hands and gently moves closer to them, she quietly tries to whisper the spell.
<DeathStar> *the three dogs approach, snarling, wanting that meat*
<Ortho> <Rada> I know about the power. Why do I need to use it for something like this...
<Xanatos`> <Valen> I'm just gonna... 6* He pulls his shield free and activates it just in case.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Oh, you have a mark? 6He eyes Rada curiously
<Ortho> <Rada> I have something better than a mark for this scenario.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Entice~ Hey pups... want some meat?
<DeathStar> *they eye Valen, one showing his teeth. Kaelan makes one dog calm down a little
<DeathStar> *but it seems the other two are making it hard to calm down any of them - al lthree need to be enticed*
<DeathStar> *and you can only entice one target at a time*
<ChadWinters> <Durt> So wait...you don't have a mark?
<Seraphna> * Kaelan waves her tail at the others encouraging them to help.
<Ortho> <Rada> Oh no, I do.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *takes a breath and tries using Entice on one of the others* "Calm down and you'll be fed..."
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Oh? I do not recall marking you
<Ortho> <Rada> I said before, I'm not stooping to using such a spell.

<Xanatos`> 6* Valen points to the one in front him and finishes the spell.

<Ortho> <Rada> You did, indeed.
<Ortho> <Rada> Valen, they're dogs, they don't speak basic.
<DeathStar> *Rachael holds out her hand and works on the third. All three dogs finally are enticed and sit, peering at the team, wagging*
<DeathStar> *Lorelei claps* You did it. Good job
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Good job, kiddos.

<Jackieness> <Moira> "So feed them."
<Xanatos`> <Valen> You don't really understand animals do you? It's body language and intent. 6* He walks over and throws the meat out to each dog.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan smiles and pets one.
<Ortho> <Rada> And magic spells, apparently.
<DeathStar> *the dogs eat the meat, wagging and nuzzle against the team* <Lorelei> See? This is how entice can work.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Each of you have made friends for life now. Enjoy the pets.
<ChadWinters> 6Durt suddenly makes a face. 1"Why do I have a feeling that I'm going to end up taking care of them.
<DeathStar> <Rachael> So if Valen had enticed Durt, would he have been made Valen's pet? *Lorelei muses on that*
<Xanatos`> <Valen> Weird man seems jealous. 6* He whispers to Kaelan.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan giggles and pets her puppy.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "FFfffff!"
<DeathStar> *Zegretta pets one*
<DeathStar> *Lorelei turns to Kaori and pets her head*
<ChadWinters> 6Durt looks over at Rachael. 1"Good thing I'm strong of will and Val's weak minded.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I'm gonna call you Cosmo.
<Ortho> <Rada> I really hope we're not going to be surrounded by barking from now on...

<Jackieness> <Moira> "So what is next?"

<Seraphna> Kaelan> Sounds cool, for a Doggie I found in space!
<DeathStar> *Moira's dog quiely follows her around, while Valen's looks lazy, scratching itself*
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Sounds like I'll have to break you now while I still can. 6He cracks his knuckles
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> For now, I thought we might do some investigation ourselves. Please follow me
<DeathStar> *Lorelei moves off*
<Sara> * Kaori blinks at Lorelei petting her but follows
<Seraphna> * Kaelan follows, leading the dog. "Come on Cosmo. We need to save the world."

<Xanatos`> <Valen> Meat, come. 6* He says firmly, snapping his fingers.

<ChadWinters> <Durt> You surprised by that, Rachael?
<Xanatos`> <Valen> He is what he eats.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei soon arrives at the remains of the 200 story building, taking a few taxis to get the team there. Lorelei eyes the map, trying to learn what it once was, since it is taped off*
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen takes a few momenets each his dog some basic commands, rewarding with bits of meat to reinforce then jogs after Lorelei.
<ChadWinters> 6Durt looks over at the remains of the building, pulling his datapad out and scanning the area
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Ah, I have it
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen gets low and starts sniffing, his dog walks up and sniffs beside him.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan slips Cosmo some jerky and stays close to Zegretta.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> It seems it was a major Cartel business. It designed weapons, parts, and other stuff. It had it's fingers in all sorts of stuff.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Their stocks dived losing this location but they're recovering having many other locations
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Wonder why Sunny attacked this area though.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Must be significant."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Maybe something to do with the weapons part?
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Lets see, the same day there was several other murders
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> But running this program Taiga gave me a few stood out
<Xanatos`> <Valen> Nearby? 6* He glances up, pausing in his sniffing.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Thinking there might be a connection?
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Who was murdered?"
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Lets see, not super close but ...
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> In this city
<Xanatos`> <Valen> It's been how long? Wonder if there's anything left there to check out?
<DeathStar> *Lorelei taps a screen and brings up an autopsy on am an*
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> A man was found poisoned in a bar. He was drinking and fell over suddenly. The bar was checked for poison but it was determined he was poisoned earlier before arriving
<DeathStar> *Rachael eyes the screen*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Sunny seems a little less... subtle than that.
<Sara> * Kaori looks at it*
<ChadWinters> 6Durt peers over at it, looking it over
<ChadWinters> <Durt> She might not be working alone.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Well other than the evil magic girl
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Evil magicla girl didn't seem that subtle either."
<DeathStar> <Rachael> There was a bus explosion that might be related. A bomb was planted on a bus. *she shows a bus exploding* And two kids were bicycling and shot by snipers. *shows the pictures*
<Xanatos`> <Valen> ...they shot kids?
<Xanatos`> <Valen> Why?
<Seraphna> Kaelan> That sounds more like Sunny.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> That's a good question.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> The explosion at least... but she put us in danger when we were little too.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Oh, the kids apparently part of high ranking Cartel families
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> *she eyes their names* It seems the Cartel have houses now. Kind like old Earth
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Maybe rival groups?"
<DeathStar> *Lorelei gestures with her hands, bringing up a few Cartel family names* There seems to be about 10 major Cartel families
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Spread throughout the systems
<ChadWinters> <Durt> It's possible she's trying to sow chaos between them all.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "She didn't seem that clever to me."
<Xanatos`> <Valen> Killing some kids...that's really messed up.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Oh there is one more hit that Taiga's program gotr
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Depends if she's doing someone else's work or if she's doing it for her own gain
<DeathStar> *she brings up a normal looking building that was hit by explosions in the sewers according to the news reports and guards killed inside, as well as some unidentified men killed inside. The police is looking into it*
<Ortho> <Rada> Why would there be guards in a sewer?
<Xanatos`> <Valen> Did that JUST happen?
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> I think only one or two guards were in the sewers, most were killed outside. What I do not get is why were there so many guards at a normal looking building
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> It seemed to happen later the same night
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> So 2 days ago
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Because it's hiding something important usually.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan frowns.
<Ortho> <Rada> Hey, you changed your story!
<Sara> <Kaori> Both sides reek, it seems.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "What if the building was connected to the hidden Cartel location?"
<DeathStar> <Rachael> Why don't we go check it out then?
<ChadWinters> <Durt> We can try poking around about it, but if we get to nosey, we risk bringing unwanted attention
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Well, lets becareful then
<Xanatos`> <Valen> Yeah I think we should go.
<DeathStar> -Spinning Logo-
<DeathStar> 6* As they arrive, they find that most of said building is gone, as if a bomb went off, leaving one to wonder how the news article knew how to report what it did. There is police tape outside and what remains inside the building, and there is signs of the sewers being damaged, cracks throughout the street*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "sooo... Sunny special?"
<DeathStar> *the damaged building looks it was blown up by something different an Rachael eyes it* <Rachael> I feel magic in the air
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen sniffs a few time, moving around curiously.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei keeps her distance, kneeling and eyeing the police tape, not wanting to go too close*
<ChadWinters> 6Durt looks around at the remains, eyeing it for a moment. He glances down at his datapad as it scans the area.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> That narrows down who it could be then.
<DeathStar> *Rachael eyes the damage and Durt's datapad would pick up residue in the air of a powerful magical attack*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "So her new friend, probably."
<DeathStar> <Zegretta> *pats Cosmo* I wonder why she was here, doing all this damage
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen tries to feel if this FEELs like the same sort stuff the Maka lady uses or if this is something closer to what they all do.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Rachael's right. My scanner is registering a fair amount of magical residue.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Probably some big endgame.
<DeathStar> *Valen would feel maka energy*
<Sara> <Kaori> There's no mistaking it...
<Xanatos`> <Valen> Well it wasn't our mystery god. 6* He declares, standing upright on the other side of the tape.
<Xanatos`> <Valen> ...not that any of you thought it would be.
<Jackieness> <Moira> *squats down and pat pats her dog, pondering* "...this may have more to do with what the other team is looking into."
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Then this was definetly Sunny and her Maka friend
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Practicing our investigation skills never hurt
<Xanatos`> <Valen> I bet none of them would be able to sense out the type of magic this is.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> The kids will need them down the road. 6He nods to Lore in agreement
<DeathStar> *crunch*
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen glances around quickly to find the crunch.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan peers about.
<DeathStar> *it sounded like it came from somewhere at a vantage point on another roof of one of the other houses nearby - while the neighborhood is mostly desserted in this area, oddly, there are many houses, like to make it look like a normal area*
<DeathStar> *the roof looks empty*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *stands back up* "...hope its not one of those snipers."
<Xanatos`> <Valen> Meat, stay with Rachael. 6* He fades into the shadows, likely going to stealthy investigate.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> If it was, we'd probably have been hit by now. 6He glances at Valen and Kaelen then where they're looking.
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> Rada.
<Ortho> <Rada> What?
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> You see anything? *since he is the angle guy*
<Seraphna> * Kaelan mrrrs.
<Ortho> <Rada> Well...*looks at the buildings nearby*
<Ortho> <Rada> Based on the direction of the sound, it seems like there are only two houses it could be from.
<Ortho> <Rada> I can't say more without seeing anything.
<Ortho> *Rada points out the two houses to keep track of*
<DeathStar> *Rachael pats the dog, peering about*
<DeathStar> *due to Rada's information, and lucky dice rolls, the team sees a shadow in one of the windows of the house on the left pass by*
<ChadWinters> 6Durt nods to Lore then towards the window
<DeathStar> *Lorelei nods slowly*
<Ortho> <Rada> Wait.
<Ortho> <Rada> I don't recommend going directly towards, if it -is- the sniper...
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen is stealthy trying to close in!
<DeathStar> *Lorelei forms her wings*
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Guess we're not going with the subtle tactic.
<Ortho> *Rada moves around, out of the viewing of the window*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> I could foxhole us over.
<DeathStar> *there is suddenly a crash and Valen is thrown out the window*
<DeathStar> <Rachael> Valen!
<ChadWinters> 6Durt smirks and takes off towards the Window and Valen
<Jackieness> <Moira> "Whoa!" *makes a run to try to catch Valen*
<DeathStar> *Lorelei lifts off and dashes in and grabs Valen by the hand, tossing him to Moira*
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen falls to 'In the arms of the angel'
<Jackieness> <Moira> *tries to catch Valen*
<DeathStar> *Rachael leaps into the window where the target is going out the back door and running out down the street. At the same time, sirens are heard - cops are coming*
<DeathStar> <Zegretta> O-Oh no. Deja vu
<Ortho> <Rada> I can't get caught by cops again.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan eyes the target and foxhoels out in front of it, pulling out sword and shield.
<Xanatos`> <Valen> Myyyyyy hero~ 6* He says to Moira after she catches him.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei flies and lands in front of the target, doing a pincer attack. The target, a homeless looking guy, looks left, then right, then grabs a manhole cover since it's damaged and lifts it up*
<ChadWinters> 6Durt leaps through after Rachael, rolling and pushing off back on to his feet. 1"Out the back"
<DeathStar> *trying to go down*
<Jackieness> <Moira> "We need to get off the street!"
<DeathStar> *Rachael dashes down the back door after Kelan*
<Seraphna> * Kaelan leaps and tries to stomp the cover down.
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen nods to Moira and whistles for the dogs to follow him, running down the street, probably far behind the team at this point.
<DeathStar> *Zegretta flails as a countdown begins as cops pull up in the area until they find the team: 2 minutes*
<Jackieness> <Moira> *whistles for the dog and then takes off with Valen*
<DeathStar> *the homeless man howls in pain*
<DeathStar> *Rachael eyes the sirens and curses, scattering off and leaving the team*
<ChadWinters> <Durt> We need to go. Those sirens are getting louder. 6He moves over to the homeless man and grabs him. 1"We need to talk."
<Seraphna> * Kaelan tackles the man, grabs him bny the arms, then leaps through another foxhole to take them both out of sight.
<DeathStar> *Lorelei flies after. Meanwhile Zegretta looks lost and hurries along, adjusting her dress, peering about as the cops begin to gather. She bumps into Rada*
<ChadWinters> 6Durt moves through the foxhole after the two
<Ortho> <Rada> Wow, rude.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...think we lost them?"
<DeathStar> *less than a minute and half left*
<Sara> * Kaori has foxholed after, too
<DeathStar> <Zegretta> M-Mister Rada..
<Ortho> <Rada> What is it? I wasn't near you guys.
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen gives a slight shrug as he runs with Moira, decided to get a half dozen or so blocks away.
<Seraphna> ((You're still at the scene with her. You need to run.))
<DeathStar> <Zegretta> Where is everyone?!
<Ortho> <Rada> In fact, I think I'll just tell the police my own perspective of the scene.
<DeathStar> *by this time, the cops have begun to approach the two, since they are left*
<DeathStar> <Zegretta> ... Ehyhhh.
<DeathStar> *she moves behind Rada*
<Seraphna> * Kaelan peers from over the roof, curses, then tries to open a foxhole under them both and bring them to her roof.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "...we need to find the others."
<DeathStar> <Cartel Police Officer> *he pats his baton, eyeing Rada* We got an eye witness that you two are the ones who attac----
<DeathStar> (one brief pause)
<Xanatos`> <Valen> Trust in your mark, we'll catch up soon.
<DeathStar> *he pauses as Kaelan foxholes them out*
<DeathStar> <Cartel Police Officer> *he calls in back up* The attackers came back on the scene and escaped. I need back up
<ChadWinters> 6Durt looks at the two appear. 1"We need to get as far away as possible." 6He looks over at the homeless guy. 1"We got some questions for you."
<Seraphna> * Kaelan nods and uses her last two foxholes to give them an exit.
<ChadWinters> 6Durt pulls the Homeless guy through.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan hops through, this time taking Zegretta and holding her very close.
<Xanatos`> 6* Once they're clear, Valen would guide Moira and the dogs back towards Lorelei.
<DeathStar> *Zegretta is grabbing her face* I am a wanted criminal. I will be sent to a prison
<DeathStar> <Zegretta> They will make me do things. *she spins*
<DeathStar> *The homeless guy eyes them resentfully. Lorelei soon finds a place that looks rather isolated and has them stop here to talk - which is hard on this planet.*
<ChadWinters> <Durt> You'll be fine Zegretta. 6He pats her head. 1"I won't let anyone do unsavory things
<Sara> <Kaori> What the heck happened back there? *she ponders as she looks at Zegretta*
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "You won't be. We'll find a way to clear you."
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Someone called the cops on us. 6He eyes the homeless guy. 1"Was it you?"
<Seraphna> Kaelan> "It's the cartel so we can probably pay to get it called off."
<Ortho> <Rada> Kaelean decided to save the day for everyone herself.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> That's a weird way to say thanks.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Good job on the quick thinking, Kaelan
<Ortho> <Rada> ah, it is, isn't it?
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Probably because it wasn't one.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Rada, if you want to try and talk to the universe's most corrupt police force and try and get yourself out of what was likely a purposefully aimed arrest attempt on you own, fine. But next time don't risk my sister's life doing it.
<Seraphna> * Kaelan's eyes aren't on fire. Totally.
<Jackieness> <Moira> "I think I hear them arguing up ahead."
<DeathStar> *the homeless man tries to sneak off*
<Ortho> <Rada> *rolls eyes*
<ChadWinters> 6Durt reaches over and grabs the man by the collar. 1"Not so fast buddy."
<Xanatos`> <Valen> Wait, Kaelan and Ze are sisters? Well that's weird and a little gross. 6* He mumbles to himself.

<Seraphna> * Kaelan's eyes are totally not burning even brighter.
<DeathStar> <Homeless Guy> I didna do nothin'
<Seraphna> Kaelan> We're not birth sisters. Thank you very much Valen.
<ChadWinters> <Durt> Why'd you run then?
<Xanatos`> <Valen> No offense but you physically disgust me. 6* He tells Rachael, patting her sadly.
<Sara> <Kaori> Exactly. Innocent people don't run.
<Ortho> <Rada> That's not really necessarily true...
<Sara> <Kaori> (...In fairness, we ran too...)

<DeathStar> *they begin to sense they are getting lathargic and unable to move. They have 40 seconds to do something about it*
<Sara> * Kaori closes her eyes, not realizing something is wrong
<ChadWinters> 6Durt stumbles a bit. 1"Somethings off."
<Seraphna> * Kaelan frowns and leaps out of the water, pulling Zegretta up. "Everyone out of the water!"
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen winches at the towel flick but with a serious face he's genuinely trying to figure out whats' going on.
<Jackieness> <Moira> Rada headed to his... room... water is... drugged? That a... thing?" *tries to pull herself out of the water*
<ChadWinters> 6Durt climbs out of the water and starts moving for the door. 1"Valen, let's go."
<Seraphna> Kaelan> *focuses and slaps herself*
<DeathStar> *as they get out of the water, they would see a device, out in the dressing area, one in each, pumping invisible air out. Sadly, by now they are not immobile. Rachel and Zegretta fall over, unable to move*

<Sara> * Kaori meanwhile is still in the water, poor girl, but realizes she is unable to move

<Seraphna> * Kaelan focuses and activates her Angel Magik 1, literally hurling herself at the device with her magic flight. Blinking as she can move again in midair, angling herself to kick it over.
<Ortho> *Rada disables the gas generators nearby*
<DeathStar> *outside there's a scream from the jogger*
<Seraphna> * kaelan slides past him comically.
<Seraphna> Kaelan> Off!
<Seraphna> *oof
<DeathStar> *Rachael knocks the wall down and recharges her cure to cure the boys*
<DeathStar> *despite giving Valen and Durt a show of the naked girls*
<DeathStar> *Rada disables the gas, which helps the cure*
<ChadWinters> 6Durt groans a bit and he pushes himself up. 1"Thanks for the help." 6He rubs his face, not looking towards Rachael
<Seraphna> * Kaelan sits up slowly and grumbles, then moves over to check on Zegretta and grab her weapons. "You okay love?"
<DeathStar> <Zegretta> Y-Yeah. Thank you, Rada
<Jackieness> <Moira> *climbs on to her feet* "Everyone alright?"
<DeathStar> <Zegretta> You saved us
<Xanatos`> 6* Valen pushes himself up, sighing since his manifested shard went into the wall slightly off the mark.
<Seraphna> * Kalean nods, Rada getting +2 relationship points with Kaelan.
<Ortho> <Rada> *shrugs, trying to hide a maniacal laugh*
<ChadWinters> 6Durt moves to wrap a towel around his waste and moves out quickly, to try and find the shapeshifter
<Xanatos`> <Valen> ...yeah, thanks. 6* He oddly grabs his clothes and puts them on before stepping outside to see if he can track the shapeshifter.
<DeathStar> *Rachael puts on a towel and Lorelei helps Kaori up, dressing her*

<DeathStar> *outside the shapeshifter has been cut down in half by an energy sword*

<DeathStar> *once the girls are dressed, DS' people move out. Standing there in casual, white clothes is a red haired man*
