<Sara> * Erica weaves in and tries to punch at Zayne
<DeathStar> *Zayne jerks back, 8 damage since it's doubled, and wipes her lips*
<DeathStar> *Zayne aims her gun, going for a normal attack and fires at Pepper, figuring she is the most dangerous with her double attack, and fires a 4 HP attack. Mireille lets it go, since it's not super dangerous, dropping Pepper down to 4 HP unless she wants to waste a special move to block it*

<XanTop> * Pepper isn't a damagey person and adjusts the device on her neck to cry out a sonic cry. Instead of a concussion force Zayne would begin to feel the effects of vertigo, hopefully stunning her for a round. (dice roll 1 out of 3)

<DeathStar> *and since even if she halved the damage, that would be 3 over her life, Mireille leaps in and absorbs, falling over, unable to block anymore attacks this round*

<XanTop> * Pepper regains her Sonic Amp and activates it, the music pouring out of her headphones to inspire her friends(double damage to all for 1 round)
<Seraphna> * Cookie follows this up by restoring Telepathic Goddess to blast Zayne's mind with a psionic assault again. (20 x 2 = 40 HP damage)
<DeathStar> *Zayne wipes her nose and the familiar helps her stand up and her magic gun empties itself and she reloads, eyeing them blankly* You are strong

<DeathStar> 6* While Gor goes over the server information and Erica and Jelly work the job scene, the two teams soon gather together to see how their progress is going. Taiga and Gor gather to go over what was on the server after she and Gor have been going over it

<DeathStar> <Taiga> Gor and I have been scrubbing the server and found some interesting stuff on this private server. Apparently the Cartel has private servers that people can store information on for a fee and this was such a server
<DeathStar> <Taiga> And Sunny had the code to this server since she didn't have to hack into it
<DeathStar> *Rachael leans back, eating popcorn, having a new hairstyle - longer hair and the latest style and having lightened her hair some*
<kalonZombie> <Gor> Their stuff is pretty good, actually.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "I have followed Si around and learned much about organic behavior."
<Jackieness> <Moira> *is oddly looking through a style magazine while sitting next to Rachel*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> It seems that Sunny was after the information that someone was looking into on a group called the Ninth Circle of Hell. There's a lot of boring history information on it on the server - apparently the group was not always called that and other people labeled it and the original name was lost in the annuals of time
<Seraphna> * Kaelan leans against Zegretta, snacking on jerky.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> But the person believes they have been around on Earth for a long time and been manipulating Earth and the moon for a long time, even in present day. Even back to olden times
<XanTop> * Valen is ignoring the adults, looking at Moira's magazine over her shoulder.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> The reason that the person who owned the server labeled it that is because they have been manipulating events on Earth - elections like Cran's, and military stuff, and might have even had a hand on Sunny's dad's death
<XanTop> <Pepper> So she's out for revenge?
<Seraphna> Si> This stuff always hurts my brain when I remember that this reality isn't actually as old as the people in it think it is.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Could be but what worries me is about such a group like this has been out there for so long. The guy talks about they have had their hands in things for a while and like to not take a direct hand in things but subtlely push others to do things. He believes they shaped Cran and Venerator to be their agents without the two realizing and with all their old tools being gone are looking for new ones
<Sara> <Erica> I'd say it's safe to say that Sunny's goals are probably a twisted version of whatever they were when she *wasn't* a nutso.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Disconcerting stuff. And they might know a bit about the shapeshifters and think they can use the shapeshifters to further their goals
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So apparently these shadowy government types are either underestimating them, or are stronger than we know
<DeathStar> *she points at the journal entries this guy made and observations he made*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Sadly this guy had no real proof for us. But he did have a location of the Cartel underbelly, which matches up with what Erica and Si found
<DeathStar> *she brings up set of teleport coordinates*

<Seraphna> * Kaelan goes to get her stuff with Zegretta, Si stretches and picks up Gor, moving to their room to get packed.

It's on the ground level, with the various buidings towering over and there's lots of people already checking into hotels. They find McTreggor there, standing in front of a hotel and checking into a room
<DeathStar> *The two have learned that anyone that joins the tournament will get their own private rooms - given by the tournament committee - and it's single matches - not group matches*

<DeathStar> *and one has to wear a collar during the match that is explained more in detail by the commitee. This is the second tournament and nothing bad happened last year*
