<DeathStar> 6* The two teams are on one of the many "True Cartel Worlds" where they do their darker businesses that the public does not typically see, and have learned that it is likely they are facing either two shapeshifters, or a shapeshifter and a God - though they do not know which (cont)
<DeathStar> 6* One of the enemies is likely Loki's second in command and has been ordering collars and making tournaments to learn about fighters' powers and abilities, perhaps to see what the fighters can do - running more of Loki's business since he was injured in some unknown injury a few years back. The purpose is still unknown (cont)
<DeathStar> 6* However, the second force has hijacked the collars and been making a secondary collar that can will kill the fighters while still reading their abilities. While some of the kids are in the tournament, the others are in the stands, having learned that the collar readings are coming from underneath the tournament stadium (and I had to recall all this myself, bleh)
<DeathStar> 6* Taiga holds up binoculars, trying to watch the Mercy/Kaelan fight
<DeathStar> *Lorelei studies the fight herself, with Yuki there as well, looking toward Loki's booth, seeing if they can find his second in command*

<Seraphna> Cookie> Too bad she can't just show up dramatically at this moment. Instead... *Cookie looks at the guards and sends a telepathic feeling that they all just heard some suspicious noises in the other direction*

<DeathStar> *Cookie draws - exactly one of the two guards from this one entrance away - away by 8 feet remaining in sight of the other*

<Xanatos> <Pepper> Bring the remaining guard to us. * SHe cracks her knuckles

<Seraphna> * Cookie tries it again, this time focusing on the other guard and luring him towards them.
<DeathStar> *the other guard calls out to the first guard and begins to head towards them, pulling their weapon out. The other turns to watch now*

<Seraphna> * Cookie smacks her forehead, and just uses Telepathic Goddess on the first gaurd to attempt to knock him out mentally while the guard heads for them.
<ChadWinters> 6Cel takes a deep breath as she readies herself.
<DeathStar> *the first guard falls over, unconscious. The approaching guard pauses and reaching for their comm link*

<Seraphna> * Cookie recharges Telepathic Goddess and steps out, moving one of the bodies out of sight.
<ChadWinters> 6Cel grabs the guard as he falls, quickly moving to pull him/her away to the shadow
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Nice! *she sends Kitty a message about their location, in case Kitty can arrive as back up, and they move into the tent*

<Seraphna> * Cookie takes thje guard's comms.
<DeathStar> 6* Mercy spins her scythe, making wind and blowing Kaelan off balances, then dances forward and slashes at her arm with the scythe, slashing it hard and making her HP meter drop by 6,000 out of 20,000. Kaelan would oddly feel her arm go numb, simulating a broken arm, right?*
<DeathStar> *Rachael watches the battle, frowning*
<ChadWinters> 6Durt starts tapping his foot as he watches. His eys focused on the fight

<Seraphna> * Kaelan shifts her battle stance to favor her shield and takes a breath. Then seems to fall through the floor. Opening a foxhole behind Mercy and delivering a kick at her back.
<DeathStar> *Rachael pauses, peering up as Lorelei talks in the mark*
<Xanatos> 6* Valen blinks and glances around, looking concerned.
<Jackieness> <Moira> <Can it get worse? They brought in a ringer to beat up Kaelan.>
<DeathStar> *Mercy takes the kick and rolls, her HP dropping only a small amount as she turns*
<Seraphna> * Kaelan falls through the floor again, coming out at her side and barrels into her with a Shield Bash. (14 Damage + Stun)
<DeathStar> <Lorelei> <Oh yes! Quite worse. Your collars are kill collars. I doubt they will kill you right away, lest the tournament go into a frenzy, but afterward, based on how much damage is simulated, it will then kill you I believe. Probably removing it will kill you instantly too, thinking on it>

<DeathStar> *Lorelei appears behind Valen and Moira with Kellin, Hess, Kaori and anyone else on the God Hunter team that wants to join*

<Seraphna> * Kaelan dives forward into a foxhole, which then turns into a field of foxholes like Ripple's signature move.

<ChadWinters> 6Durt looks at Lore, his demeanor different. 1"Let's go."

<Seraphna> * Kaelan's Shield comes flying out of one charged with Foxfire, exploding for 14 damage, and her fist comes out of anther hole to punch at the back of Mercy's head.

<Seraphna> * MIchelle joins Kellin, since they are ther enow.
<Xanatos> <Valen> Come'on let's hurry she can't hold out for all that long unless... 6* He thinks to himself then shakes his head and moves to look for an entrance under the arena
<DeathStar> *Mercy tkaes the hits, and eyes the foxholes, slowly learning how they work*

<Seraphna> * Kaelan then starts jabbing with fist and shield from different angles, sometimes putting both through a hole so it's hard to tell how she's doing it exactly. Being a clever fox.

<DeathStar> *Mercy's maid like outfit suddenly explodes outward with magic and makes the foxholes break apart, and she dashes, slashing at Kaelan. Lorelei takes one more look, then angel magics them down below into what looks like a maintanence lab*

<Jackieness> <Moira> "Things get deadly serious right aftert I settled on this new hairstyle too." *referring to the twin short tails she's currently sporting*

<Seraphna> * Kaeland rolls away and grabs her shield, bringing it up, then keeping her distance to stall. "Why the hate?"
<ChadWinters> 6Durt looks around quickly, his eyes darting around to take in as much as possible quickly
<Stretch> *Ori-fox sniffs the air for signs of other people in the lab*
<Seraphna> * MIchelle peers around as well, bow ready as she looks for trouble.
<Xanatos> 6* Kellin also seems to be reaching out with is powers to feel for energy fluctuations, hoping that can lead them to the control room.
<DeathStar> *Mercy> *she holds her scythe, and it ejects a cartridges, slamming a new one, and it powers up*
<DeathStar> <Mercy> Something about your face just helps me finish my job better. *she launches - ending the scene up top for now*
<DeathStar> *Lorelei walks along. They would see collars all around down there being maintained and worked on, machines rest beds for injured fighters*

<Xanatos> 6* Valen looks annoyed and steps in before quickly deactivating his sabers and 'blending in with the shadows' as part of his famfirt ability.

<DeathStar> 6* Airym and Gor would find Rada at the device he and Taiga made, keeping track of the collar signal. So far it is still running

<Stretch> *Jelly leans around Airym to peer at the device* So what's this now? Ya'll trying to innovate tech without me? I'm appalled!

<DeathStar> <Zayne> ....*then promptly ignores him as if unworthy, turning back toward Chris, apparently not interested in their work* You look like my teacher, yet your aura is completely different. Also you smell of booze
<Stretch> *Jelly nervously gulps again and backs up into a bed, falling on his back*

<Stretch> Jelly> Would need a suitably strong signal amplifier of our own to broadcast it any descent distance.
<Orthogon> <Rada> We don't need to broadcast it the whole way.
<Orthogon> <Rada> We simply have to introduce noise to the signal at this point, so much that it can't be decoded properly.
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Our primary purpose is to prevent any more data from reaching its destination... without killing our peers."
<Sara> <Chris> He believed in it. Someone may as well carry on his will. *she narrows her eyes, wondering what this magical girl is up to*

<DeathStar> *Zayne pauses, and as if hearing her familiar she turns toward it, wincing at something and she pats it* Yes yes. I agree. It makes no sense to me either. All evil should be eradicated or it will just crop up

<Stretch> *Jelly holds up a finger, pausing it in mid air* ...you obviously don't understand that the kid in the arena has a KILL COLLAR around her neck and fighting right now. We need to jam the signals being transmitted.
<Orthogon> <Rada> That's still not much of a distance. Are you telling me we really don't have that kind of technology present?
<Stretch> *Jelly tinkers, copying the device frequency to another datapad before trying to pull up any live broadcasts of the arena fight*
<Jackieness> <Airym> "Rada's solution is still viable if nothing else works."
<DeathStar> *Zayne turns* Why not just shoot the signal source and destroy it?

<Stretch> *Jelly nods absently as he checks the Holo to see if that will show the arena match; looking between Zayne and her orb as if he wants to answer but not risk getting blasted*
