<Sathen> Rea> So. Just what are we doing with Mias anyway, I was training earlier and all he did was sit in there watching.

* ChadWinters sits in a chair, leaning back slightly, with his left arm resting on the armrest

<Sathen> *Rea sits on his teams side of the table, sipping from his bottle of water as he waits; Damian sits near the back of the room, idly reading over some medical information while listening*

<DeathStar> <Lemon> The bad news is that there is an intruder in the building. *she brings up a camera image of the intruder, though it's hard to make out due to the fact the person is moving in a crowd. It looks a lot like Chris if you look hard*

<Seraphna> Angela> *peers at Chris, then back* Sunny then?
<DeathStar> <Lemon> And another camera caught them in another location. *she shows a camera show briefly in another spot, this time with Zayne's long hair and back profile*
<Sathen> Rea> Oh, lovely...the sociopath bomber. High-yield stun shots it is.
<ChadWinters> Seem's they've split up. Probably to force the same from us.

<ChadWinters> What could they want there? It's pretty risky to get that close to Dias, all things considering

<Sathen> Rea> So we're in for High Profile extraction, and our target may already be in the posession of a Sociopath and or a Rogue Magical Girl.

<DeathStar> <Lemon> We'll break into two teams. X, you will lead the team to find the President while the others will look for this Sunny
<ChadWinters> 6Mias flips off the chair, bouncing eagerly. 1"Yeah. Let me punch him in his stupid fake face.

<DeathStar> *X blinks at that decision, then shrugs*
<Sara> * Chris raises hand. "Honestly got no attachment to the other part, but the President's important stuff."
<Sathen> *Damian stands and picks up his pack of medical gear* I'm her team triage medic, no choice for me really.
<ChadWinters> Well if Mias here's going to be meeting with the President finally. I'll go after Sunny.

<Seraphna> Angela> Mmm, deal with two Dias' at once or face a sociopathic terrorist.

<DeathStar> 6* Vesta, Wyrd, and Zephyr stand at the building while X's team goes inside, being the main fire power of the team

<DeathStar> *Zephyr peers up, having been training lately*
<ChadWinters> <Marcus> Are you saying you'd rather not hang out with me?"
<Seraphna> * Tabetha and Truth stand with Team Marcus, Angela having surprisingly chosen two Dias' over a Sociopath.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> *goes silent, then marches inside*
<Sathen> *Rea stands quietly to the side, checking his blasters power and setting carefully* Don't worry, after this we can go train if you want...
<Seraphna> Tabetha> Ouch.
<Sathen> *Rea shakes his head and follows carefully a couple steps behind Zephyr*
<DeathStar> *Zephyr walks along, the lobby still having people in it, not cleared out less people get panicke*
<ChadWinters> Well let's get this show on the road and stop a evil magic girl. 6He shudders at having to utter the words, then moves in

<Seraphna> * Tabetha grins a bit and follows. Truth moves after them, adjusting her fully formed armor.

<DeathStar> *the team spends a while moving through the hallways, finding nothing but ordinary office workers*

<ChadWinters> There's a lot of collateral damage hanging around here.
<ChadWinters> <Marcus> Right. Unless we know exactly where to go they'll stay ahead of us
<Sathen> Rea> They really should have done an ordered evacuation.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha sighs and closes her eyes, using Ace of Spades to give the team a route to intercept the two with.
<ChadWinters> They didn't want to cause panic. Makes sense.
<DeathStar> *the Building also is connected to the Senate Building via a walk-way.* <Vesta> I think Stacey said that they might have headed that way
<Sathen> Rea> Or at least an evacuation drill to give a reason to not panic.
<DeathStar> *Tabetha would sense an explosion due to Marcus walking over a trip wire*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha puts a hand on Marcus' shoulder.
<ChadWinters> 6MArcus stops, his foot hanging. 1"What?"
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "You're going to trigger a trip wire."
* ChadWinters pulls out his datapad and tries to access the security system and the camera's with it to try and find the two
<ChadWinters> 6Marcus peers down
<Sathen> *Rea looks ahead to the area that leads past the trip wire* Guess this means we're at least in the right general area.
<DeathStar> *Wyrd floats over it and continues, while Zephyr kneels to dismantle it*
<ChadWinters> Seem's they're expecting us.
<ChadWinters> <Marcus> Thanks Tab. 6He gives her a thumbs up and then nods to Zephyr. 1"You guys are my heroes."
<Seraphna> * Tabetha nods, keeping her Ace of Spades running to get their path since they are not in combat.
<Sathen> *Rea follows after them once the trap has been disabled, looking out for more of them now* Any other guidance on where to go? Or not go?
<ChadWinters> 6Marcus moves ahead again, staying behind Tabetha to let her do her thing
* ChadWinters walks along, keeping his eyes on alert as he let's his datapad continue try hacking
<Seraphna> Tabetha> "I merely see paths ahead of us out in time. This may let me overcome her traps. If it is Sunny there will be more."
<DeathStar> *they soon begin to reach Senator offices. There is a catering tray outside one, the door shut, and further down there's a door cracked open with voices inside, and further down that is a door with creepy silence*
* ChadWinters glances at the catering tray then towards the door with voices, trying to listen.
<Seraphna> * Tabetha tries to see what dangers lie behind each checking paths where Marcus opens each door.
<ChadWinters> 6Marcus uses his wolf like hearing to listen to the voices
<Sathen> Rea> Or it could have been set as a decoy to draw us into an area where they aren't...*glances towards the doors and the catering cart to see if there's anything suspicious about it...like maybe being trapped*
<DeathStar> *Tabetha would see as Marcus moves toward the catering door, a trap will trigger from under the plate and an invible poison gas will come out, killing all of them in 2 minutes*

<Sathen> Rea> So, seal it in an air tight case? Anyone have one of those with them?

<DeathStar> *Zephyr muses*
<ChadWinters> Too bad we don't have one of the foxes here.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> *kneels and sees finally the tinest of cords all around the door and the cart*
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I see it
<DeathStar> *Zephyr inches under it and reaches the door*
<ChadWinters> Well, I don't think I'll be making it past that.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> You can't deage yourself into a young 15 year version of yourself? *She rises, young now*
<ChadWinters> Well, I guess I've never tried.
<Sathen> *Rea holds his breath as she works before moving to follow after her* Speak for yourself, some of us don't need to de-age and are already in our prime.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Of course I'm weaker now
<ChadWinters> 6Marcus snaps his finger at Zephyr. 1"Tricky." 6He looks for the cord and if able to get around it, does so
<DeathStar> *Vesper and Wyrd manage to get under it, Vesper by crawling nad Wyrd by floating over*
<Seraphna> * Truth uses some Magic and floats over it as well carefully.
<ChadWinters> Hear anything in there? 6He makes his slightly closer to the room with voices, keeping his eyes peeled as he moves cautiously
<ChadWinters> *his way slightly*
<Sathen> *Rea eyes the door knob warily, expecting another set of traps*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha activates Ace of Spades a third time.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Well, who wants to open it?
<ChadWinters> <Marcus> Ya seeing anything Tab?
<Seraphna> * Tabetha looks down another path where Marcus opens the door.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I guess I'll do it. *she opens it finally, and inside whey find a dead Senator, and Sunny and Zayne opening the window to leave*
<Seraphna> * I guess Tabetha saw nothing?
<DeathStar> *the senator's face is one of pain and frustration, though there's no real marks on him*
<Sara> * Sunny is of course smiling
<ChadWinters> 6Marcus begins moving forward, activating his wolf powers to augment his abilities.
<DeathStar> *She would see something now. Marcus getting blasted by a magical beam
<DeathStar> in 3

<Sathen> *Rea raises his blaster and fires at Sunny, full power stun shot to knock her out*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha pushes him away.
<DeathStar> 1
<ChadWinters> 6Marcus is shoved out of the way
<DeathStar> *Zayne fires and the beam flies at Zephyr*
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Oh fuck visions
<DeathStar> *She rolls*
<ChadWinters> 6Marcus twists a bit then darts in low towards the two
<DeathStar> *rising and holding her arm*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha activates TK Goddess and uses to slam Zayne at the ceiling above them. (12 Damage)
<Sara> <Sunny tries to dodge the stun meanwhile
* ChadWinters eyes the blast come through the wall? and he raises his gun, moving to get a view through for Sunny or Zayne
<Sathen> *Rea moves in as well, firing at Sunny again to keep her off balance so she can't escape*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> Hm. *she seems to be wearing a coat still as she slams up, doing no damage from the slam - her stats that of the fight in the last phase*
<Sara> * Sunny drops a live grenade
<ChadWinters> 6Marcus moves to grab it and hurl it out the window, using his increased speed
<Seraphna> * Truth leaps in with her swords and swings them in a loop at Sunny, getting in close and personal. (2x 9 Damage)
* ChadWinters raises his gun and fires two shots through the hole made, twisting them for Zayne's hand and leg
<Sathen> *Rea shifts slightly and fires just in front of where Sunny is currently to hit her as she moves*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> *sighs and breaks free finally and lands, and forms a magic gun, aiming and firing 14 damage at Marcus, taking him down with 1 HP*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> Down.
<ChadWinters> 6Marcus is hit, and hit hard, dropping to his knees in pain
<DeathStar> *Zephyr charges her buster, aiming at Zayne, while Vesta forms her fire attack and throws it at Xayne*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha aims her own guns at Zayne and fires each. (6 x2 damage)
<DeathStar> *making her magic shield drop*
<Sara> * Sunny shoots at Truth with a high-caliber revolver
<Sara> <Sunny> Pests. Nngh. *she smiles*
<Seraphna> * Truth's armor glows with Holy Technique, taking the shot and looking strong still, an she stabs out with both blades. (2x 9 Damage Again, Null Damage, Half Damage next shot)
<DeathStar> *Wyrd grows white hair and then throws her energy shield into Zayne's magic shield, shattering it*
<Sathen> *Rea fires at Sunny again after switching it over for full lethal effect* [Basic attack 4hp damage]
* ChadWinters shifts to get a better point of view and fires two more charged shots, aiming one for Zayne's knee cap and the other for Sunny's ankle, twisting them to come in around people
<DeathStar> <Zayne> ... *she eyes them all, her familiar on her shoulder glaring at them*
<DeathStar> *it's eyes glowing*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> Yes yes. They are annoying
<ChadWinters> *4 each*
<DeathStar> *she eyes her knee bleeding*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> ... *she smiles a bit, then aims at Chad with her gun*
* ChadWinters quickly burns another ability, his eyes locking on the familiar and he fires 3 shots, this time bouncing one off the back wall and curving the other two towards the familiar
<Sara> * Sunny rolls and fires randomly, not seeming to mind or notice even as they hurt her
<DeathStar> <Zayne> Die. *it begins to charge when the familiar is hit. Suddenly a loud cry is heard that drops everyone, even Sunyn*
<Sathen> *Rea keeps stepping in slightly with each shot, getting even closer towards Zayne but ignoring her it seems before turning and lunging for Zayne as he activates Ground Out*
<DeathStar> *Zayne drops as well*
* ChadWinters grabs his ears, causing him to drop his gun as he falls to his knees
<Seraphna> * Truth oofs, and Tabetha grumbles from the floor.
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> W-WHAT IS THAT...
<DeathStar> <Vesta> It is clawing into my head. ... <Wyrd> Ungh. *she goes back to black hair*
<Sara> * Sunny covers her ears
* ChadWinters desperately reaches to the back of his neck as he fumbles to activate his suit, hoping the mask will block it out
<Seraphna> * Truth closes her eyes, and tries to extend her life aura to those around her to help them.
<DeathStar> *The familiar floats, then seems eneraged, the strange cat like thing as it floats, - as the cry ends, and begins to lob gravity bomb attacks at 26 HP at everyone* <Zephyr> W-We need to go...n-now..
<ChadWinters> 6Marcus roars in pain as his hearing is intensified
<ChadWinters> G-GRAB MARCUS
<DeathStar> *Suddenly a figure leaps in and grabs Marcus, turning his back to tkae a grabity attack*
<DeathStar> *shielding Marcus' since he's at 1 HP*
* ChadWinters struggles to roll out of the way
<Sathen> *Rea Struggles to his feet and moves away from the familiar, trying to grab ahold of Sunny as he goes*
<Seraphna> * Truth Fortifies herself with a second Holy Technique to null, while Tabetha uses Ace of Spades to move to just the right place to avoid the attack.
<DeathStar> *the fmailiar throws a second gravity bomb at Rea, which might be fatal*
<DeathStar> *Zayne lays there, KOed*
<DeathStar> *Zephyr rushes out and Wyrd and Vesta get out into the hallway, panting as the room is beginning to break apart*
* ChadWinters grabs his gun, switching it to stun and tries to fire a straight stun shot for the familiar.
<Sathen> *Rea slips on some of the rubble, the gravity bomb passing over him*
<Seraphna> * Truth leaps, grabbing Zayne and leaping out. Tabetha rushes out, weaving and avoiding things as she does.
<DeathStar> *it turns toward Chad and fires a gravity bomb at EVERYONE outside the room now*
<Seraphna> Truth> KEEP GOING!
<DeathStar> *and begins to chase Truth since she has Zayne*
<DeathStar> *John lifts Marcus over his shoulder and follows*
<DeathStar> <John> You guys sure know how to bring the fun to the party!
<Sara> * Sunny hops outside, throwing yet another grenade at the fleeing Truth
* ChadWinters leaps and rolls to the side, hitting the ground awkwardly, his shoulder popping
<Sara> <Sunny> No, no. That's no good. *she smiles, bleeding*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha uses TK Goddess again and flings the grenade back at Sunny.
<Sathen> *Rea regains his feet and moves after them again, firing at Sunny in burst mode even as he heads out*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha then keeps running, Truth fleeing with Zayne, keeping her between herself and the familiar.
* ChadWinters pushes himself up and starts running.
<DeathStar> **the familiar floats in the hallway, and begins to form a gravity bomb to bring the hallway down and bury them all*
<DeathStar> <Wyrd> Why are you insisting on carrying that girl!?
<Sara> <Sunny> Wow, they really want her for some reason.
<ChadWinters> Leave Zayne behind.
<Seraphna> * Truth shurgs, then uses Holy Technique to wqrap the girl in Holy Energy and tosess her at the familiar.
<DeathStar> **the familiar is hit and fires the magic bomb off , hitting the ceiling and bringing it down - but will it bury them? One second*
<Sathen> *Rea keeps running and then shoots the cart with the poison in it, hopefully it's still there in the hall next to Zayne and the Familiar
<DeathStar> (You'd poison Truth then since Truth ahs her)
<Seraphna> (Well, I did throw her. So there's distance, but yeah.)
<Sathen> (truth just lobbed Zayne at the familiar, meaning she has some distance)
<DeathStar> (True)
<DeathStar> *The burst hits the ceiling and buries the entire team before the familir and Sunny. John throws himself over Tabetha and Marcus as the hallway as it comes down. Probably a last fuck you due to the poison*
<Sathen> (and with the oncoming ceiling caving in, that would help shield them from any of the poison)
<DeathStar> *The familiar lands on Zayne and begins to do something, even as Zayne coughs the poisoninous fumes; her and Sunny the only two not fully buried*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> ... *rises and wobbles, looking around and moves for their exit window*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha uses Battlemind so she can track where everyone is under the rubble with her, playing possum while she waits for the two to exit.
<DeathStar> *Zayne peers back at the rubble, then moves to find Sunny and see if she is alive*

<DeathStar> *President Dias peers up, then spots Mias, rising slowly and frowns, cracking his knuckles, rolling on the balls of feet* The thing with my face is back
<Sathen> Damian> And now we enter the realm of asinine ego's, unbridled stupidity and machismo that doesn't know when to stop...

<Sathen> Damian> I'm guessing that this part of the plan, and what may happen during it and afterwards, wasn't exactly given a lot of thought.
<DeathStar> *Dias' body trembles and moves forward* I thought I defeated you already, in the name of justice. You cannot wear a superhero's face and do evil in their name. Even if it is a handsome face such as mine!

<Sathen> Damian> I keep them in medical coma's until they become dust to protect the rest of the world?

<DeathStar> *Dias' arm glows a little and he uppercuts Mias, then leaps up, grabs him, and slams him into the ground. He walks away, nodding*
<ChadWinters> 6Mias kicks off the ground and swings fist for Dias' jaw

<Seraphna> Angela> *rubs Mi'Na's ear*
<ChadWinters> 6Mias bounces off the ground, coughing painfully. He pushes himself off hte ground slowly.
<kalonZombee> 6*Mi'Na tries not to fuu but fails miserably <...Don't think you can distract me!>
<Seraphna> Angela> <I don't think, I know.>
<ChadWinters> <Mias> This isn't done yet. 6He growls as he pushes himself up to his foot, sliding his hands in to a defensive stance.
<Seraphna> Angela> Hrm...
<DeathStar> *Dias bounces, turning back* I see you are not done yet. Alright
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...huh... if its one of those shapeshifters... wonder if I could sniff it out with my Dark One abilities."
<Sathen> *Damian checks his datapad for any current news feeds, hoping that nothing has gone out about the President and his doppleganger fighting yet.
<Sara> <Chris> Good grief... *she mutters*
<DeathStar> *Damian would suddenly be hit by something, the news feeds are blowing up8
<ChadWinters> <Mias> It's gonna take a lot more than a weak punch like that to stop me. 6He switches stances quickly moving. He kicks off and twists his lower body, throwing a wide quick for his right side
<Seraphna> * Angela frowns a bit. She peers at Damian's datapad.
<Sathen> *Damian starts scrolling through the feeds to see what they're about* Uhm...the others may have had a problem.
<DeathStar> *Dias winces and coughs, stumbling and begins to grapple with Mias*
<ChadWinters> 6Mis grabs on tight against him, then tries to pull him in and head butt him
<DeathStar> *suddenly, a flashbang goes off and troops begin to come in, firing shots at the team and stunning them with high power stuns, including Mias*
<DeathStar> <President> W-What is going on here!? Who is interrupting my fight?!
<ChadWinters> 6Mias drops to his knees, his hands trying to hold on to Dias tight
<DeathStar> *The troops are led by their three Senators - Senator Hamilton, Senator Peter, and Senator Hale as they walk in. Darien looks up, confused*
<DeathStar> <Senator Hamilton> Good job, get the President to safety to where we took the Vice President. *they begin to move Dias, giving him something to help calm him*
<Sathen> *Damian drops, his datapad still scrolling through the feeds as he triggers his own ability to ignore the the stun effect...though he does play possum and fall like the others*
<DeathStar> *the news feed is reading something about an attempted coup by the team and a fake Dias*
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Nnnnn..." *narrows her eyes and tries to sense any dark energy from the senators*
<DeathStar> *all three are shapeshifters*
<Seraphna> * ANgela glares from her position, and Reese looks in disbelief.
<DeathStar> <Senator Hamilton> You all have played your parts wonderfully
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...damn... its them!"
<DeathStar> *Another Senator walks in that Noire doesn't recognize*
<Seraphna> Angela> Of course... now it makes sense...
<DeathStar> *this one seems to not be a shapeshifter as he kneels*
<Sathen> *Damian watches from the ground, trying to memorize everything he can of this new Senator even as he tries to trigger a comm burst back to Base and alert Lemon without being seen by the senators*
<DeathStar> <Senator> The shapeshifters were quite useful. As were you. But I am afraid after we finish doctoring the video that your team will be the most wanted team out there. Especially after the accidents that will befall all of you
<ChadWinters> 6Mias struggles to push himself up, his eyes locked on to Dias as he's pulled away
<Seraphna> * Angela seems to stare, while having activated her eyes on the outside.
<DeathStar> <Senator Hale> I will deal with the clean here. *the troops lift and pull the team away. Noire can tell some are shapeshifters, some are humans. They leave Mias behind for some reason*
<ChadWinters> 6Mias quickly begins looking for X, as he stumbles a bit when he stands up
<Jackieness> <Noire> *whisper* "...hah... I cna see them now... every single shapeshifter is lit up clear as day for me..."
<DeathStar> *X seems to be trying to use her ripple powers as she is pulled along. The tema there is thrown into the back into the van*

<Seraphna> * ANgela gives X a look, reaching out to Montana.

<ChadWinters> 6Mias stumbles after the team, falling to his knees as he struggles to regain his senses
<Seraphna> * Angela moves her eyes, as to not outwardly nod.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "...how long until they screw each other over?"
<Sathen> *Damian waits until they're closed into the van to trigger adrenaline surges for the rest of them to clear their senses*

<DeathStar> 6* Lemon begins to grab items and for anyone left behind, wiping the computers as she and Adeline leave thanks to the warning from Angela

<DeathStar> *Warren hobbles as she grabs his videos and packs them, as the three set up some surprises, and begin to leave

<DeathStar> *Cherry, listening in, warps away to check on Marcus*

<Seraphna> * Angela's warning was easy too, since she evacuated all of her betas, not about to let them fall into a shadow government's hands again.
<Jackieness> <Josephine> *holds up a detonator* "Want to do the honors when we are far enoguh away, Warren?"
<DeathStar> <Warren> Sounds good. *he takes it and leans back, holding his leg. *as they drive away, he waits 2 minutes. And pushes it, right as the troops were arriving*
<DeathStar> -Final Scene-
<DeathStar> 6* The troops begin to swarm around the debris as Cherry watches it, laying in wait for her chance to break the team free. They begin to yank the team out and handcuff them one by one, even though a few of them are in bad shape like John, due to shielding them*
<DeathStar> *John wobbles, bleeding, laying there handcuffed, and Zephyr is yanked out next, still in her young form, hand cuffed*
<Seraphna> * Truth sneaks her hand over to John and touches him, using her Holy Healing.
* ChadWinters seems that most of his tact suit took the damage, but his right arm hangs loosely
<DeathStar> <Wyrd> I do not like rough play. <Vesta> ... *she is grabbed and pulled off* <Troop> This one is to be seperated. <Vesta> H-Huh? *she is pulled away*
<Seraphna> * Tabetha looks to Vesta, frowning with worry. <We can only hope Alexander made arrangements for you.>

<DeathStar> *the team is dragged along to a van and thrown in*
<Sathen> *Rea is probably pulled out from closer to the center of the cave in, nursing a nice bleeder from his temple and groggy as hell*

<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Ungh, my head is killing me
<Seraphna> * Truth glares at them. Tabetha just looks annoyed.
<DeathStar> *John bleeds on Marcus*
<ChadWinters> Why are you arresting us? 6He coughs, his breathing labored a bit
<Seraphna> * Trtuh shifts her foot on top of John's and burns another heal on him, knowing the old man can't take much more.
<DeathStar> <Troops> Your teammates tried to do a Presidental Coup. Maybe since you all weren't there at the time you will be found innocent if you flip on them

<Seraphna> Truth> <My guess would be our move did what I thought it might, force the 9th Circle's hand.>

<DeathStar> *Cherry warps in with a dark teleport, using her Dark One powers and kneels by Marcus, then picks him up, as if about to escape with just him*

<Sathen> Damian> Don't be, they had their hand, we had ours; theirs just included cards from another deck.

<Seraphna> * Angela sighs, two betas on guard, one having evacated her kids and gone underground for now.
<DeathStar> <Darien> The bad thing is we probably smeared Cheryl's name for the time being
<Seraphna> Reese> If they replaced Dad they must have gotten to Mom too...

<Sathen> Damian> Aye, they wanted him alone for some reason. *moves to look at John's injuries to see how bad they are*

<Seraphna> Tabetha> Which... worries me about how much Alexander knew about this.
