<DeathStar> *Brooke turns into her liquid form and dives in. Celes turns to the others*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Decompression sickness. Its... and she's already gone."
<DeathStar> *Selena pops up on the horizon waving then dives down, and soon is a speck in the distance. Celes turns back to Erevis*
<DeathStar> <Celes> So what is a diving machine like?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Something Xanatos pilots I assume
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Think of it as a shuttle that can handle going underwater
<Xanatos> <Xan> Not sure what specifically we're getting. It's either indivisual suits, or something like a submarine. Which yeah like SPoC says is like the shuttle we have.
<Seraphna> * Alita swims along quickly, having a tail and wings, she can "paddle" under water much faster.
<DeathStar> <Celes> Your normal shuttle cannot go under water?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "A normal shuttle is designed for thrust in near-vaccuum. Water is a fluid and heavy."
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> I imagine if it's calibrated enough to handle it, it's possible. Technology isn't my forte.
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> But even then I imagine unless the temple itself is sealed off, it'll be filled with water and we will still run into an issue
<Xanatos> <Xan> It would be very risky compared to somethign designed specifically for this.
<DeathStar> *Celes muses* I imagine a ship would be better. Unless we all want to play around a large lake like my daughter. And if that was the case we should just do bubbles
<Sathen> *Mykel muses as he watches from the edge* I guess being a Dragoon I can just go as I wish since I don't need to breathe in the first place...and to answer your question I don't recall there being anything at the bottom, we were more concerned with removing corruption from the lake at the time.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> From what I recall we also did not walk around the entire lake.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Which would indicate it's further in then
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> How deep does the lake go?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "And yes, deep diving suits with air tank or even air hoses connected to the surface. Submersible vessels too, but those are less maneuverable."

<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Xanatos, do you think you could adjust the shields to handle it for a bit?
<Xanatos> <Xan> It would still overtax the thrusters.

<DeathStar> 6* As the days pass, Selena and Alita map out more of the lake and make their own water map, marking off places the Water Temple is not when one day the Mew Mew Ship arrives and lands, under the guise of delivering something from the Alliance. Erevis and Celes walks up, the former covered in cuts and bruises with a slight limp
<DeathStar> *Sylph flies toward it, teaching Fae how to fly the past few days. Selena wrings out her hair and eyes the ship arriving as she moves over to join. Gwen is sleeping on the grass nearby*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Miss Erevis, you are my hero right now. I totally could not walk into a situation over and over again, knowing that I am going to get the crap beaten out of me."
<Seraphna> * Alita tilts her head. "Would you like some healing Erevis?"
<DeathStar> *Erevis pauses and eyes Lana slowly*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan slowly looks over to stare at Lana.
<Sathen> *Mykel waits behind them, saying nothing*

<Seraphna> * Alita smiles and casts a healing spell over her.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Nonsense, I bet Momma's champion by now.

<Sara> <Chelsea> In many ways, diving is not much different from a spaceship
<DeathStar> <Ymir> Her ship here is unique in many ways. I just added some add-ons to it. They should allow it to go underwater for brief times with the spirit-tech I applied to it. She knows how not to overload the guage and use her spirit
<Sathen> Mykel> So, shall we gather what we need and head to find this Water Temple?

<DeathStar> <Ymir> Otherwise it just uses the stuff she built already

<Seraphna> Alita> Since we can't see it on the surface it's likely fully submersed.
<Xanatos> <Xan> Maybe we can get a black market smuggler to get us a few rebreathers if it's submerged. 6* He moves after Erevis
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well, we cna map the surroundings and plan an expedition into the interior..."
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC moves in with them.

<DeathStar> <Cypher> We have some equipment on board if it is underwater

<Sara> <Chelsea> Even a space suit would work if the pressure isn't too bad in there
<DeathStar> *Cypher takes the co-pilot seat and powers up some guages, letting Chelsea captain the ship*
<Sathen> Mykel> Could also ask Brooke to pull the water back from the temple once we find it, to allow us to explore it un-hindered.
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> That should depend on how deep we go. It's likely we won't need anything. My tact suit should keep me warm. So the most is a breathing device
<DeathStar> *Selena leans over her mother's shoulder excitedly*
<Seraphna> Jaime> With the right knowledge... we could probably get a couple spirits to work together to excavate it.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "We should leave it in situ until we know how exactly well preserved it is."
<DeathStar> *Hapes watches them go from the ground, still around surprisingly despite the amount of time. He shields his eyes as the ship begins to lift off and moves to Ymir to ask questions, likely using his charm*
<DeathStar> *Selena hands Chelsea a map of the areas underwater they have checked so they can fly to new places*
<Sathen> *Mykel takes a seat* <I'm surprised you don't want to use Undine's boon and swim to it...>
<Sara> * Chelsea nods acknowledgment of the map and looks it over
<DeathStar> *Celes takes a seat and leans back, glancing over the ship and studies the pictures. Sylph tries to get Fae and Aimee to play in the back*

<DeathStar> <Cypher> Okay. You ready to take her underwater? Oh by the way this is the offical first test. Outside simulators

<Sara> <Chelsea> Here we go. *she says in an almost flat voice*
<DeathStar> *Gwen shifts behind Ellie this time*

<Sara> * Ellie is only half paying attention to the antics, keeping an eye on the kids -- especially wary of Aimée antics
<Seraphna> * Talia paws at Aimee in the secret language of cats.
<DeathStar> *as the ship flies into the ocean, there's a shake and noises at the water as it surrounds the ship. Ymir's voice is heard from the spirit guage - alerting them now and again at the pressure level and how much tech is being used and if they need Aimee to do her thing like Mireille*
<DeathStar> *so far it appears not needed*
<DeathStar> *Aimée pulls Fae's cheeks but then gives candy*

<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Could we use the ship's scanners to search for any Temple like structures?
<DeathStar> *time ticks as they fly around to new areas and find just fish. And other stuff. And more stuff. After a bit they find what looks like what might have been buildings once under the water but it's mostly covered*

<DeathStar> *Cypher finally gets the scanners to work. It picks up minor buildings under the sand, possibily homes once but it seems to lock onto something major up ahead that has some mild spirit energy*

<Sara> <Chelsea> All of this reminds me of a legend someone told me about from Earth -- Atlanta, I think it was called

<DeathStar> <Selena> Well if that corrupted Earth spirit is right - and she did have a crush on you - the water spirit is still sealed
<Sara> * Chelsea turns and listens to the others figuring out how they want to proceed

<Seraphna> * Alita shrugs and calls Brooke. "Oh dear, we've found what we were looking for."

<Sathen> Mykel> If we leave it, the other Corrupted Spirits could come and retrieve it...

<Sathen> *Mykel moves into the airlock* Let's hope we don't encounter the corrupted Fire...this would be the worst case scenario for her though being surrounded by water.

<DeathStar> *Cypher checks the airlock and cycles it; a moment later they are ejected out into the water near the temple*

<ChadWinters> 6SPoC takes a moment to get used to the water in her suit and starts swimming towards the temple
<DeathStar> *Celes swims as best she can toward the entrance*
<DeathStar> *while Selena swims like a torpedo and enters. Sylph dogpaddles along*
<Sathen> *Mykel swims easily, borrowing some of Alita's natural talent and skill to enter behind Selena*
<Seraphna> * Alita swims like a water lizard of some kind swiftly, and Jaime does a fairly confident diver's stroke.
<DeathStar> *Erevis hums, swimming along merrily as they all enter the temple and as they enter they find pockets of air strangely. Selena emerges and rises up in the chamber - spirit tech seemingly keeping the water at bay*

<Seraphna> * Alita frowns. "...Anyone else doubt this tech should be here?"
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC emerges in to the air pocket with the group, looking around curiously.

<Xanatos> 6* Xan's eyes glows blue as he looks around, switching through different spectrums to get the most clear view.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *takes out her rebreather* "This is super-weird... I'd need to examine the machinery to be sure."

<Xanatos> 6* Xan glances at the two and nods, readying his pistol as he moves forward

<DeathStar> *Selena looks around the chamber. On the wall is a mural of Undine in all her glory - well once. It looks worn down now*
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Then it's possible they adapted it somewhat. 6She takes out her datapad, recording the murals
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Let's see..." *examines the mural more closely*
<DeathStar> *there are other chambers further on but they are underwater but there are a few rooms to the left and right that are still on this level and in the spirit-tech range that are not drowned*
<Sathen> *Mykel moves around the chamber, looking into one of the attached rooms to the right, his sword pulled out and held at the ready*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It would see we are in a bubble and if that machine goes out this room will flodo
<Seraphna> * Alita snaps her fingers and Talia tosses her her staff, Jaime pulling out her gun carefully.

<Jackieness> <Lana> *saves the data to her PAN and then moves on toe xamine another chamber* "Don't touch the machinery if you find it."

<DeathStar> *Brooke follows those on the right. There seems to be various beds - well once perhaps. They look ancient and in such ruin you'd have to guess, but the arrangement of the room it looks like it. And if one has been in the current day Water Temple, though much fancier and with more commodoties, this might have been a crappier version of the Priestesses Room*
<DeathStar> *it looks much smaller than the current day one as well with a smaller room in the back*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "I'd speculate that this temple is the template that the modern temple was based on. The modern being an enlarged version, of course."
<Sathen> *Mykel continues on towards the small back room, to check it*

<DeathStar> *the one in the left leads to a large fountain room with a pool of water, in a circular motion. Water still runs in here and might be where Undine once resided. Again much smaller*

The corridor is long and winds up some stairs to a higher level - showing signs this temple is differently since the current temple is all Brooke/Undine's. The next floor begins to show various room, many flooded but soon Brooke emerges in an area that is not flooded, with this spirit-tech sputtering, the water almost flooding it*

<DeathStar> <Selena> I studied a few rooms. It looked like there were a ton of rooms with beds in them. With chests and clothes in them. Amazon weapons. You can swim back and look with them.

<DeathStar> <Erevis> Maybe it had that spirit-tech thing once before it broke down
<Jackieness> <Lana> "More to the point, it could be the evidence we ar elooking for if it belongs to one of the owners of the clothes."
<DeathStar> *Erevis turns to Lana* Yes. I believe we can say they came here and stayed here for a time
<Xanatos> <Xan> You know, the earth group has been running from secret base to secret base when dealing with the shapeshifters. I bet they would love an underwater castle temple thing.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It might come down to you reassmbling that paper. We also did not find any evidence of ancient tech of the Amazons. So they might have moved it. That paper might link to both things

<DeathStar> <Selena> That or it is hidden in that temple or somewhere

<Seraphna> Alita> I think in the past it was a secret base of some sort, possibly for the Amazons in charge at the time.

<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Perhaps this was there first temple/city. And something happened, perhaps the Dark Water Spirit caused it to flood.
<Seraphna> * Alita smiles to Brooke. "You easily could too."
<DeathStar> <Celes> The simplest explanation is usually the simplest. Hapian was making ancient spirit-tech for ages.
<DeathStar> <Celes> And perhaps something made the Amazons leave that temple
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Which is what I need to uncover by studying these artifacts."
<DeathStar> <Celes> And they wished to preserve it as long as possible and they simply could not reach it or forgot about it
<DeathStar> <Brooke> The Dark Water Spirit could not have caused it to floor.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "It would explain why the document wa simprotant enoguh to trap, yet was still left behind."
<DeathStar> <Brooke> I am told I am the eldest spirit after the first three to be reborn after the Ancient War as you all call it. Then Sylph.
<DeathStar> <Brooke> That means the "Dark" Spirits were already sealed by the time I was living in that temple
