<DeathStar> 6* Erevis peers out - as they have been flying they have hit the snow which has been hitting the carriage hard since leaving the capital which had Undine's protection, making the flying more difficult and the beautiful land which was once green and spring like is now wintry, even more so due to how long they have been in the capital

<DeathStar> *the village looks like a sleepy village with hardly anyone there. 10 buildings - huts at most - and not even a teleporter here. It seems to be a fishing village mostly and they live off the village. Oh and there is a slight pinging from their detector magik*

<Seraphna> * Jaime is known to be far older than the teenage years she displays, so it seems to run in the family. SHe gently fixes her coat.

<DeathStar> *as they approach the village, a few people from the village begin to exit the buildings, peering at them, looking casual but they have a tenseness to their body as well. Ready for anything*

<Sathen> *Mykel takes a settling breath and adjusts his tunic, looking between the two* Fear the cold? Excuse me?

<Seraphna> * Alita puts on the Lilen charm to the max.

<Sathen> *Mykel smiles, letting Alita or one of the other females take the lead since they're in the Amazon after all*

<DeathStar> <Villager> *he puts a pipe in his mouth and smokes it. A few women and men peer out at them, holding axes - perhaps for chopping wood. There is a wood pile nearby*

<Seraphna> Alita> "I'm Alita, a bonded summoner of Undine. We've come to explore some of the lesser known villages. We'd like to stay the night, get to know your people for our research."
<DeathStar> <Villager> 'fraid we don't have an inn here at this village. We're a small village
<Sathen> *Mykel muses quietly* <Odd that a man would be the one to come out and greet us in a town in the Amazon>
<Seraphna> * Alita muses, "Perhaps some spare place to rest in your homes? We're more than happy to contribute to chores and even pay for the trouble." *she pulls up a coin purse that jingles with the magic of money*
<DeathStar> *Gwen muses on that and studies the women.* Maybe they think as outsiders they might not know the rules.. *he studies the women but it does look like an equal number have weapons*
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC glances at Alita, not sure what her game is
<Xanatos> 6* Xan arches a brow and rubs his chin slowly, glancing to Lana to see if she's watching her tracker thing.
<Seraphna> * Alita seems to have noticed, but doesn't want to spook the villagers.
<DeathStar> *the tracker seems to be indicating it's someone in the group back in the villagers*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *tries to be discrete as she nod at the group*

<DeathStar> <Villager> *He studies the coin purse casually, musing, then back at the others. There's a slight gesture, maybe a hand gesture but if so it is so fast it is hard to see, before he turns back*

<Xanatos> 6* Xan pulls his arms behind his back as he walks along, following the man.
<DeathStar> *he leads them to a house and the crowd disperses*
<Seraphna> * Alita nods and moves to follow, having accomplished the goal of getting them IN the village without some kind of fight.
<DeathStar> *Gwen sneezes and Celes and Selena walk hand in hand, leaving the others in the team with the carriage to protect it*
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC walks along, taking in the area more as they are led along.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *sweeps her spell around to try to see who is triggering the ping*
<Seraphna> * Jaime walks along, peering around the village and musing to herself on how she can make herself useful in that day.
<Sathen> *Mykel moves to follow as well, likely standing out like a sore thumb in his Legion garb*
<DeathStar> *the man puts them in the house the furthest from the village - his house - and sits by the far. His wife begins to take over and the man goes quiet*
<DeathStar> <Woman> Come in. Sit down. Make sure your shoes are clean. *she does not seem like a fighter like most Amazons but there are a ton of spears and weapons on the wall* I want nothing tracked into the house
<DeathStar> *the seems to be preparing food*
<Seraphna> Alita> *sits and looks to the wife* I have to admit, begin greeted by a man at the head of the crowd in an Amazon village was quite different. *she removes her shoes before she does*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *tries hiding ehr spell and then just trips and falls flat on her face as she walks inside*
<DeathStar> *the woman eyes Lana*
<DeathStar> *Celes bows her head and complies, as does Gwen, Selena and Erevis, who move to the table*
<Seraphna> * Jaime removes her boots carefully, her feet look as dirty as usual lately.
<Xanatos> 6* Xan does as well, looking for anytthing unique or out of place.

<DeathStar> *and Jaime* James, prepare a bath for the girl. A hot bath. *The man eyes her but rises and waves for Jaime to follow her to the side of the house
<DeathStar> *Erevis TK lifts Lana and helps her to a seat*
<ChadWinters`> 6SPoC pauses as she looks down at the bottom of her boots then undoes them and sets them outside.
<Sathen> *Mykel complies with the woman's wishes before moving into the house, eyeing the weapons to judge craftsmanship...and how frequently they're used*

<DeathStar> *Xanatos would see a normal house - a blend of an Amazon house and house that feeds off the river. Though there is a back room, the door closed and the side room seems to be the bathroom. Upstairs has two beds*
<DeathStar> *the weapons seem to be well kept*
<Seraphna> * Jaime squeaks but follows, blushing.
<DeathStar> *the woman eyes them and seems to be measuring them. Outside darkness setting in due to the winter nights being shorter*
<DeathStar> *she sets down warm drinks for each of them*
<DeathStar> *the man returns after heating the water*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> *talks to the others with her telepathy* <I imagine they will keep a strict eye on us all night>
<Xanatos> <Xan> It seems you're a very guarded people, have you had issues in the past with outsiders?
<Seraphna> * Alita sits back and hmms and sips hers gently.
<DeathStar> <Woman> We are a private people and do not like our affairs meddled with by outsiders
<DeathStar> *Gwen muses on revealing his connection to Qui but then again he is a man*

<DeathStar> *Gwen pats his vest with her signature and decree*

<Seraphna> Alita> "I would not want to meddle too much, but we're looking for some specific older families, tracing some geneologies you see."
<Sathen> *Mykel bows his head to the woman, removing and setting his sword to the side as a sign of surrendering his weapon, accepting the drink but not tasting it as of yet *telepathy* <no doubt, and me moreso than the rest of you>
<Seraphna> Alita> "Perhaps you may know something of one of those lines we seek."
<Xanatos> 6 Xan thinks for a bit before nodding to Gwen.
<DeathStar> *the woman pauses in her stirring, and seems to accidently tap the window*
<DeathStar> *Celes pauses as the door opens and the villagers come in - this time without just axes and real weapons. The woman turns around as her husband rises* <Woman> I think it is time you stop being coy. Older families. Who sent you? The Legion?

<Seraphna> Alita> *sighs and calls out softly* Brooke dear, can you lend a hand?
<DeathStar> *there is no response*
<Seraphna> * Alita blinks a bit. "They're... blocking summoning?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...ummm...maybe you shoudl have not mentioned that."
<DeathStar> *Erevis eyes the villagers, the pinging coming from somewhere in the back of them - the descendant somewhere in the back*

<Sathen> *Mykel doesn't move, staying absolutely still* Mistress, we have not been sent by the Legion, the Kaiser or anyone else...
<Seraphna> Alita> I thought showing them we're with the Water Spirit would be easy enough but everything has to be so overly complicated.

<DeathStar> *Gwen reaches into his vest - slowly and sets the paper and the woman takes it and reads it* The girl queen. *she studies them*

<Seraphna> * Jaime peeks in, hair still wet.
<DeathStar> <Woman> Even the Amazons Queens have forgot about us after a while - the promise made long ago. And it seems the girl queen has become chummy with the Legion as of late

<Sathen> Mykel> We, as a group, came here to find the truth. No lies. No misdirection.

<DeathStar> <Woman> .... *she studies each of them and nods to the villagers to relax a little, which they do but they stand by just in case*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ummm... uhhhh..." *adjusts her glasses and peers to try to see the people in the back*
<Seraphna> * Jaime moves back to get dry and get her clothes on in case this goes further south.
<DeathStar> <Woman> Long ago the Amazons took in the wife and child of the true leader of what you call the Legion, along with some of his most loyal people.
<Sathen> Mykel> You mention a promise made long ago, are you referring to protecting the family of the Legion's original Founder?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...ummm...how much should i say about what we found?"
<Seraphna> * Alita muses, wondering if Brooke didn't come due to an agreement with this place now.
<DeathStar> <Woman> They helped each other and when the old Water Temple began to fail, it was decided the Amazons would set them up in this village so that their people could one day take back their lands. In return they left some of their most prized items here as a sign of their friendship and when the time came the Amazons and the true Fire People would take the land back from the Legion. But over the years... the Amazon Queens began to ignore this village more more
<Seraphna> * Alita tilts her head and uses her magic to try and determine if there was anything in the drink. While Jaime comes back down clothed.
<DeathStar> <Woman> And the people of this village over the centuries gave up heart and left until only a few of us remain
<DeathStar> *the drink is fine*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Oh, it matches with our findings so far!"

<Seraphna> Alita> Actually she's not our queen.

<Seraphna> * Jaime blushes a bit more. Then draws the fire sword and holds it carefully away from anything before softly stating the activation phrase so it lights up.

<DeathStar> *the villagers are eyeing them talk about their relic and them arguing over it*

<Sathen> *Mykel so far has made no move from where he sat initially except to speak, watching the villagers to see if he can catch the eye of somebody trying to stay out of sight*

<DeathStar> *the woman takes it from Jaime - none too gently and eyes it, then waves a hand. Not one but two people walk forward. An older man in his early twenties and a younger girl in her late teens*

<Xanatos> 6* Xan whispers back "I was going to threaten to kick their asses, so I'm not one to say much." He smirks and winks.
<DeathStar> *both of them have red hair and their eyes have a strange color - it has a slight reddish color*

<Seraphna> * Jaime watches them, still blushing, intrigued by the look.

<DeathStar> *as they touch it, the sword glows and burns brightly, much brighter than with Salamander and they swing it and aim it and shoot a fire blast. The girl having more trouble at first.*

<DeathStar> <Woman> It seems you have given us our relic back. We will return to you yours. *she moves and after a bit hands the team a wrappped up blade*

<Sathen> *Mykel rises, keeping his hands clasped around the cup* You mentioned returning to the Legion and reclaiming control...do you mind if I ask a question?

<DeathStar> *Erevis seems to be studying the group with a slight worried look. Gwen meanwhile unwraps the blade - it is a smaller blade with a blue hue*

<DeathStar> <Erevis> I do not think the Ancients were Progenitors. Then again with the mirror universe being the same yet different, I cannot say with certainity. After all the spirits seem to be based off legends of the gods
<Seraphna> Jaime> Huh... I was under the impression it was just my connection to Salamander before.
<Sathen> *Mykel takes a single step forward towards the father and daughter, but stays a seeming safe distance* What intentions are there for your return to the Legion?
<DeathStar> *the villagers look at them now like they are crazy people and seem to be hesitant to come with them*

<Sathen> *Maeryn scoffs quietly to one side* Why don't I have my baby just eat all of them? *motions to her adult dragon pet curled up and 'napping' to one side*
<Seraphna> Sammael> I will take down the Outlaws.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> I don't know what use against the fires I will be.
<Xanatos> <Simon> With my magic I'll work on fires.
<DeathStar> *Shion just eyes Maeryn and continues* There are likely enemies throughout the city making more fires. So those going to stop them becareful. I'd also like a team at the prison in case there is an enemy there. <Bonnie> I will go there and keep an eye on it

<Sathen> *Maeryn sighs* And where is our treasure trove of relics? I guess I could head there and sit and wait for dinner to arrive.
<DeathStar> <Shion> And the last team will meet the enemy that is heading for the city. This will allow for large open fighting if we can meet them far enough out and prevent damage to the city.

<Sathen> *Kaylin steps in, wearing a grease marked tanktop* A fight? Where at?

<Sathen> *Kaylin glances briefly at the monitor before moving to catch up with Shion; Maeryn grumbling before following as well, her dragon lumbering along behind her*
<DeathStar> 6* The Academy streets are on fire and men wearing protective suits throw magik fire bombs at houses to burn. They seem scattered about the streets so they are not bunched up with 2 or 3 on a street
<DeathStar> *Athena lands and forms a fire armor and begins to wade in*
<Seraphna> * Jennifer calls Celcius and has her start to put out fires as she keeps her gun out, keeping a part of her senses on Athena.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon forms his spear as he walks forward towards mean fire fucks
<DeathStar> *Celsius form and recoils at the fire and begins to look weak but forms ice and launches it at fire, even as it melts rapidly, at least it makes water*
<ChadWinters`> 6Id goes up high, sending out a pulse to scan where everyone is and relays that information.
<DeathStar> *Athena tackles and begins to use her metal claws on the suits, ripping their protective armor*
<DeathStar> *And then kicks them into the fire, making them run away into the open*
<DeathStar> <Man> Aieee!
<DeathStar> *Athena then bounces and kicks off wall and slices open another suit - not going to take them down but just rip open enough they feel the heat and burn and run out*
<Seraphna> * Jennifer has her make ice up high to it rains down as water, giving her her own power to sstain her. She fires her gun, coordinating with Athena's movements to slug enemies around her.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon slides in swinging the blunt end of his spear around for the running man's head.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon during lulls would call up ice hails to help Celsius put out the fires.
<Xanatos> (he can do 7 ice hails if he uses all his points)
<DeathStar> *Athena, like a cat, uses a lamppost to fling herself down another street to slash them up and make them run down. The fire is now severly beginning to burn out in this area. So Celsius moves to another part of the city to work on it*
<DeathStar> *One man pulls out a blaster and tries to fire it at Athena, making her duck into the fire*
<Seraphna> * Jennifer aims and fires at the man. "Off my wife, asshole."
<Xanatos> 6* Simon channels speed magic with his saboteur mage abilities and darts off to use more ice hails to quell the fire.
<DeathStar> <Man> *The man falls ovetr and Athena leaps out and slashes up another and bounces and swings along to another part. The smoke filling the area as Simon and restore order to this area. One left*
<DeathStar> *Celsius moves to the final area and begins to rain down ice on it. A man tries to aim a rocket launcher - which is dumb in a fire*
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Simon. Celsius is being targetted.
<Seraphna> * Jennifer calls Celcius to her for the final area and joins with her. Using her own empowerment to help spread Ice over the fires and even among the baddies.
<DeathStar> *a figure fires at the man and begins to shoot the man with the rocket launcher*
<DeathStar> *the rocket man is kncoked down and the figure shooting them drags the person off. The ice storm takes out half the area of fires*
<DeathStar> *leaving a fire near the school itself*
<DeathStar> *and Sasha's building*
<ChadWinters`> 6Id turns, moving towards the new area, setting up a new scan for people and helping coordinate
<Xanatos> 6* Simon arrives shortly after the rocket incident thanks to Id's prompt. Sweating he tries to call the last of his ice hail.
<DeathStar> *Simon tkaes out the school fire, leaving just a tiny bit of the fire left, trying to reach Sasha's building*
<Seraphna> * Jennifer swoops down and leaves a sheet of ice over it.
<DeathStar> *two gun men begin to approach Simon and Athena through the smoke, all that is left as strangely all the forces seem to have been picked off in the confusion*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *strides out the front door, a hand on the pommel of her sword as she faces down the fire*
<ChadWinters`> 6Id spins. 1"Simon, Athena, you have people approaching you using the smoke for cover
<DeathStar> *the ice hits the building and freezes Sasha just enough to give her that cold look women get in the cold*
<DeathStar> *the two men open fire and Athena spin dodges, leaping on Simon*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Hmmmph." *then double leaps to take down the man going for Simon*
<DeathStar> *Sasha takes one of them down, with Sasha on top*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon wipes the sweat from his eyes, breathing slowly before extending out the blunt end of his stick for Athena, aiming to throw her towards another.
<Xanatos> (Spear not stick)
<DeathStar> *Athena merowls through the air and claws the other man's face and lands on top of him*
<DeathStar> <Athena> Area is clear. Mission complete
<DeathStar> *Athena looks around* Wasn't there a lot more men KOed?
<DeathStar> *Athena blinks, coughign on smoke and weezing*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Locks these two up with their friends. They tried to torch my city and my chool."
<Xanatos> 6* Simon peers around carefully and nods.
<Xanatos> <Simon> Yes there should've been more. 6* He kneels suddenly, holding himself steady but looking somewhat weak.
<DeathStar> *Athena pauses then lifts Simon up like a princess*
<DeathStar> <Athena> This way
<Xanatos> <Simon> A-ah thank you
<DeathStar> *Athena carries Simon toward the Alliance infirmary*
<Seraphna> * Jennifer flies in to join Athena, splitting from Cel as the time ends.
<DeathStar> *Celsius lands and rolls, looking weak* <Celsius> Fire...Celsius Nemesis...
<DeathStar> *in the distance, the real battle is about to begin*
<ChadWinters`> 6Id drops down, floating nearby Celsius. 1"You did well."
<Seraphna> * Jennifer picks her up and kisses her cheek. "You did well. Facing weakness makes us stronger."
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *looks at Celsius* "You may come in and rehydrate yourself a smy guest."
<DeathStar> *Celsius nods and shifts to find a cool place to find. At that moment snow begins to fall despite the fires and the ground begins to get covered*
<DeathStar> -SCENE 2: Outlaw Battle
<DeathStar> *Shion holds up bincoulars at the Outlaw forces. Many of them are ragtagged but some of them are interesting. There's a black dragon, one has an ancient Kumen hovertank, there's a spirit-tech mech of some sort, there's a giant monster that's got a harness on it, and some Magi Tech machine that looks like it was dug up and barely patched together
<DeathStar> <Shion> ... they been busy
<Seraphna> Sammael> Seems so.
<DeathStar> *they also seem to have a mix of modern weapons and magik weapons*
<Seraphna> * Sammael pulls out her huge handgun, loading two blue shells and a black shell into it before closing it.
<Sathen> *Kaylin steps up next to Shion, hoisting her rifle* And I just finished getting my gear put together and don't have a chance to go get it...guess I can just blow out some of their stuff from here for you.
<DeathStar> *Shion leans on her bo* I should have finished learning my spirits
<Sathen> *Maeryn grins as she pets her dragon's head* Heh...I might just be able to get you a friend out there.
<DeathStar> <Shion> Well we'll make due. I guess we'll leave the dragon to Maeryn.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix pulses with red energy outlines.
<DeathStar> <Shion> so what looks like the next dangerous thing. *she notes as they get closer, a minute or two in range. Snow begins to fall and the battlefield begins to get sluggish*
<Sathen> Maeryn> Dragon? I wanted the horrible giant monster as a new pet! But oh well.
<Xanatos> <Bix> Bix = PROTECT FRIENDS
<DeathStar> <Shion> The monster looks almost like an ogre so it's hide is tough
<DeathStar> <Shion> But the hovertank has long range weapons
<DeathStar> <Shion> So becareful of both
<Sathen> *Kaylin levels her rifle, sighting some of the targets before focusing on the hovertank* Long Range? I can do long range.
<DeathStar> <Shion> If only the Mew Ship had made it. We'll just have to make due. Lets do it everyone
<DeathStar> *Shion rushes forward as the hover tank fires an energy blast, blowing up snow and ground near them - it's aim not super great*
<DeathStar> *but the closer they get, the better it will be*
<Sathen> *Maeryn climbs on the back of her dragon and pats its back before it takes to the air with a loud ROOOOAAAAAARRRR*
<DeathStar> *the black dragon flies up to meet Maeryn's - this one wild and angryU*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix leans forward and launches forward by rocket thrusters on his elbows and feet.
<DeathStar> *the Outlaw army seems to have at least 30 people but Shion has brought other Peacekeepers. The other Peacekeepers rush forward to help the battle and handle the large force*
<Sathen> *Kaylin frowns and enables Assault Mode to give her better target tracking, firing at the Hover tank from long range*
<Sathen> *Maeryn laughs as her dragon barrel rolls and tries to pull the Black out of the air by latching onto it from beneath*
<DeathStar> *the hovertank is hit and sparks a little*
<Seraphna> * Sammael teleports from her position after tracking Kaylin's shots and appears above the tank, firing down into it with a Hyperspace burst.
<DeathStar> *Shion fires at the ogre and aggros it, it rushing forward and swing hits, sending her flying nad rolling in the snow*
<Sathen> *Kaylin grins for a moment before using Gun Master: Kaylin transforms the weapons in her possession into a large Dragoon Buster equivalent cannon which she fires at one target for massive damage, doing so drains Kaylin of her capability to link with and modify her weapons for a short time .
<Sathen> [Gun Master : Strength multipler (+3 for 7) x 2 +8 Weapon Damage = 28 damage].
<DeathStar> *the tank rattles and aims at the other peacekeepers, firing and blowing some up*
<DeathStar> *the tank seems to have a lot of HP unless they find a weakpoint*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix rockets in after Shion is hit throwing a rocket punch for the ogre.
<Seraphna> * Sammael peers in the air over it, trying to use her engineering knowledge to get an idea of a weakpoint.
<DeathStar> *the ogre stumbles, the chains around it's neck nearly tying it up as it spins him a little. He rightens up and eyes him with it's eye*
<DeathStar> *the black dragon bites at Maeryn's neck as they roll, trying to pull them down*
<DeathStar> *weak points seem to be the treads or the cannon*
<Sathen> *Kaylin huffs a bit out of frustration, her rifle smoking a bit in her hands as she fires for the hovertank's cannon*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix fires an incernate blast of shotgun-like fire up for the ogre's face, then if the distraction works he would try to get ahold of the chain to use it to his advantage.
<DeathStar> *The cannon swivels and seems to be jarred *
<DeathStar> *Shion rises and grabs the chain, trying to help Bix. The ogre roars in anger and reaches for them, trying to grab and crush Bix with it's hand*
<Seraphna> * Sammael falls, landing on the Cannon as she wraps herself in HYperspace and melts the barrel shut, then leaps away.
<DeathStar> <Shion> Come... on...
<Sathen> *Maeryn leaps forward with a grin on her face as she uses her staff to jam into the black's mouth to keep from getting eaten even as she tries to climb onto it's back before using Beastly Friend: Maeryn's affection with her pets knows no bounds, she can communicate with and charm just about any living creature she comes across*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix grits his teeth, tensing but the ogre grabs him and he looks confused then urks at the squeezing.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix refreshes Rocket Boost and tries to do it another time...to burn the ogres hand to free himself.
<Sathen> *Kaylin fires at the cannon on the hover tank once more*
<DeathStar> *the ogre begins to crush Bix with it's insane strength when Shion goes into monster fox form, becoming a giant fox and pulls the chain as Bix frees himself and the two manage to knock it out with the chains, crushing the ir out of it*
<DeathStar> *almost as if it has bad luck the tank cnanon blows up and takes the entire thing out*
<Seraphna> * Sammael then peers around for what's left.
<DeathStar> *meanwhile the magi mech is throwing Peacekeepers all around and crushing them*
<DeathStar> *flying and hopping*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix looks at the monster fox in awe, trying to figure out if he should punch it. It takes a moment or two of processing before he thumbs up and rushes off toward magi mech.
<Seraphna> * Sammael teleports up and onto it's back as it hops, then starts to stab at it's cockpit with a hyperblade.
<DeathStar> *the black dragon is so angry it does not seem to be working well and it fails. It strains to break the staff*
<DeathStar> *Shion goes back to normal and hurries. the cockpit partially, as if having bad luck, pops up, knocking Sammael at the same time and off, but the cockpick is exposeD*
<DeathStar> *inside being an outlaw*
<DeathStar> <Shion> There Bix! That guy!
<DeathStar> *The mech turns and shoots fire at people*
<Sathen> *Maeryn pulls her staff out of its mouth before smacking it on the head and bracing for a rough landing on the ground*
<Seraphna> * Sammael shifts in the air and aims at the Mech's fire weapons, firing a Blue Shell at them. (Freezing Shot)
<Xanatos> 6* Bix refreshes his rocket boost again, blasting straight for the main for a big ol punch.
<Sathen> *Kaylin uses an ability to refresh her Assault Mode, firing for the pilot of the Mech*
<DeathStar> *The pilot -- is fucked and the mech falls over after he's taken out and hits the ground. The Outlaws in general are being mopped up by Shion's forces*
<DeathStar> *then the magi-tech machine begins to move, hopping up out of the snow*
<DeathStar> *by now Athena and the others arrive*
<DeathStar> *it looks almost like a spider*
<DeathStar> *the black dragon hits the snow nearby and shakes itself off*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix pokes his head up from the cockpit holding the KO'd outlaw and tosses him to the side, then pauses and gets back inside to see if he can get control of the mech.
<DeathStar> *the cobbled together magi-tech machine shoots ice rays, fire rays, lightning rays, etc. all over the place - with no real aim*
<DeathStar> *Bix can*
<DeathStar> *Shion ducks and slides with the snow* What in the hell
<Sathen> *Maeryn rolls a bit, grumbling at the snow before using Forest Child: Maeryn's nature and her ties to the forest allow her to control the plantlife immediately nearby to a degree, using it to: 1) strike at an enemy from multiple directions at once 2) lash out and bind up 1 or more enemies, or 3) create seemingly impassable overgrowth to block an attack or from being followed. Option 2
<Sathen> Choice to wrap up and bind the Black*
<DeathStar> *The black dragon struggles, pissed off and roars, trying to burn the plants whenever it can*
<Xanatos> <Bix> BIX + MECH = BIG BIX! 6* He shouts, pushing the mech up, targeting the magi thing and firing what weapons he can.
<Seraphna> * Jennifer takes pot shots from a distance, not going to strain Celcius furhter unless absolutely needing to.
<Sathen> *Kaylin uses an ability point to refresh Gun Master, aiming at the central mass of the spider mech before firing at it for 28 damage*
<DeathStar> *Due to Sammael, Bix has as a few weapons left - and fires the machine gun*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix makes this face :(
<DeathStar> *Celsius relaxes in the snow nearby, firing ice attacks*
<DeathStar> *Athena bounces and leaps at the spider-mech and punches - and bounces off*
<Sathen> *Maeryn moves forward, calling her dragon over to hold the black in place as she uses Beastly friend again trying to calm the Black*
<Seraphna> * Sammael takes a breath and teleports over the Magi-Machine, then circuits appear on her skin as she hurls not one, but two Hyperspace blades down into the thing with a vengance, before using her third ability to teleport right under Athena to catch her and land.
<DeathStar> *the spider-mech begins to spark and holes appear with sparks flying. Shion uses foxfire to do damage and the thing's legs wobble*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix target the legs with the machine gun!
<Seraphna> * Sammael sets Athena down after, then falls over.
<DeathStar> *the legs blow up and it falls over*
<DeathStar> *it tries to shoot magik but with it's bad aim it just hits the snow*
<DeathStar> *after a bit the pilot gives up*
<Sathen> *Kaylin grumbles as her rifle is literally smoking in her hands*
<Seraphna> * Jennifer keeps up cover fire on anything remaining.
<DeathStar> <Shion> ... *she surveys the dead and flops onto the snow*
<Seraphna> * Jennifer peers, then starts moving from person to person giving first aid and spirit healing.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix opens the cockpit and leans out, peering around. He lets out a huff, looking for any sneaksy enemies.
<DeathStar> *Athena joins Bix to check the snow*
<DeathStar> -SCENE SHIFT-
<DeathStar> 6* As the team returns to the city with prisoners and wounded, Aya and Eve have set up a treatment area to help civilians wounded in the fire. Aya applying bandages and magical items, using Geyze's spirit-tech*
<DeathStar> *Shion turns the prisoners over to Bonnie and surveys the city - thankfully the damage is not super bad and can be repaired in a few months*
<Sathen> *Maeryn is still out on the hilltop trying to soothe the Black enough to befriend it...it could take a while*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *comm* "Shion, we should arrnage salvage crews to immediately recover the outlaw equipment left on the battlefield." *stares through binoculars from the top of her building*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon isn't injured but resting from overuse of magic.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix is doing exactly what Sasha just asked for! ALso because he thinks someone is going to try and be bad and hurt someone.
<ChadWinters`> 6Id floats by Aya and Eve, helping report on who's the most injured.
<Sathen> *Kaylin stands quietly behind Shion in case she's needed but is also watching her carefully*
<Xanatos> <Simon> Something feels...off.
<Xanatos> <Simon> We noticed KO'd enemies missing from the battlefield.
<DeathStar> <Shion> I agree
<Seraphna> * Sammael nods, teleporting over to where the prisoners were.
<DeathStar> <Shion> I'll send out my teams to carry them in. And yes. I did notice that people were vanishing. I also noticed a lot of lucky hits
<DeathStar> <Shion> It felt like the battle was in our favor thankfully
<DeathStar> *Aya wraps up some wounds and checks Jennifer out and gives her a booster shot
<Seraphna> * Jennifer rests, exhausted still. She blinks at the shot. "Thanks."
<Xanatos> <Simon> While I'm grateful, I also want to know why.
<Seraphna> Jennifer> Sam's checking on Bonnie and the prisoners. Still feels like this was all a big distraction.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Possibly. Or desperation. But this was coordinated and we took out what feels like considerable size of them.
<DeathStar> *Bonnie looks up as she adds the new prisoners*
<DeathStar> <Shion> I agree. Someone got them to join forces
<DeathStar> <Shion> And I'd like to know who
<Xanatos> <Simon> Perhaps it was one of their original benefactors?
<DeathStar> *the Mew Ship finally lands
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Without knowing for sure, it seemed that this may have mostly been other races than the Cartels.
<Seraphna> Sammael> "Everything was clear here, Bonnie?"
<DeathStar> <Bonnie> Yes!
<DeathStar> <Shion> I wonder if the Cartel set them up
<Xanatos> <Simon> We can always question the prisoners, see if they reveal who it was.
<Seraphna> Sammael> It seems so rash a move, suicidal even... but someone removed the players...
<DeathStar> <Shion> For now I want to erradicate the last of them. If this was the majority of them at least that just leaves the Cartel Outlaws at least
<ChadWinters`> <Id> One could use that against them. They may be more willing to answer if they feel betrayed.
<Seraphna> Sammael> I think it's time we brought in a telepath.

<ChadWinters`> <Id> A telepath may not work if they do not have all the information. 6He spins to look at Eve and Aya. 1"Chad will be relieved to know neither of you were harmed during this incursion

<Seraphna> Jennifer> I think I can manufacture something like truth serum.

<Seraphna> Jennifer> *she nods, up from the booster and starts checking on their chem and herb stocks to come up with something*

<DeathStar> *She pats Bix*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon nods and moves off to get some sleep. Bix strolls along the battlefield with a cart, throwing weapons into it.
