<DeathStar> *since the GM does not have more information, the entire city looks very oldish and looks like something out of a 1950's Earth City almost in level of tech. It doesn't look exactly like Earth mind you, just it has that kind of look. The streets look empty right now*

<Seraphna> **Cookie peers around, then pulls out a fedora from subspace and puts it on, speaking in a Chicago accent** Yeah babes, let's get outta view.

<DeathStar> *despite feeling people throughout the city, Cookie for some reason would mentally pick up on person more strongly than the rest about a mile away*

<Jackieness> <Xeres> "An oddity. Typically cities have historic cores and modernize as they expand outward. This must have been planned."

<DeathStar> <Yuki> Weird? So the outer city is a ruse?
<Sara> <Erica> Everything about this place is fucky, but it's making my fists itch.

<Jackieness> <Xeres> "It is also conceivalble that the original urban core was destroyed and then rebuilt."
<DeathStar> <Taiga> *thinks on that* That is weird. Everyone is right. Typically cities expand outward.
<Sara> <Erica> Or it's still just an illusion. Who fuckin' knows.
<DeathStar> *the buildings in the center rise upward and look more like a modern building. Nothing compared to the Cartel worlds on other planets, this city is still rather bland, but it is definitely a Cartelish world*
<DeathStar> <Taiga> So why have an outer ring that is a just a decoy
<ChadWinters`> <Cel> This place seems like it's still in recovery from something. 6She looks over at Taiga. 1"Maybe they refuse to let the past die?
<Xanatos`> <Pepper> Maybe it's not a decoy. Maybe it's what they want their cities to look like.
<Seraphna> Si> In Earth's older times, cities modernized in the center while outer limits turned into slums and outdated waste areas. It was a terrible time. Yes I actually stayed awake in History class once.
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "We should try to find solid answers rather than speculate."
<ChadWinters`> <Cel> This isn't Earth though. So that may not hold true here.
<DeathStar> <Taiga> Interesting. <Yuki> And here I thought maybe the outer city is where they tested their stuff

<Sara> <Erica> I mean, it's not like both couldn't be true, but that's more speculation.

<DeathStar> <Taiga> I'm sure there are entrances are in the city here but since we barely felt anyone back in that weird outer ring and we felt that "distraction" there

<ChadWinters`> <Cel> The longer we stay here, the higher the odds we're discovered. If this is a in and out thing like it needs to be, I'd suggest going with looking at wherever Cookie sensed that person.
<Sara> <Erica> I mean, I have nothing to go on with regards to where the entrance actually is. I'd expect it closer to people if the rest is abandoned, but I have no information you guys don't.
<DeathStar> *Yuki eyes the city - the city seems to have people on the streets and it looks like a normal city from a distance*

<DeathStar> *Taiga moves through the streets with the people, who seem to be moving about with their lives. A few study the group but with their image devices seem to pay them little mind*

<DeathStar> *they seem to going about their jobs; the city goes up high like most Cartel citie but not as high as most. The ground level seems to be the normal ordinary Cartel people most likely and doing the ordinary jobs*

<Seraphna> **Cookie muses, starting to follow thoughts and giving several passers by a Turing Test with their thoughts to see if these are actual consciousnesses or AI. Seeing as she's encountered such a thing in the past.
<Xanatos`> 6* Pepper muses to herself and shrugs as she looks for some place to go shopping.
<DeathStar> *Cookie would find these are genuine people. At that moment she also finds the mysterious disappearing and reappearing person has reappeared again*

<Xanatos`> <Pepper> Well, 2 lines are down. 6* She looks at the lines and goes to check a map.

<DeathStar> *There is no defenses on the city's systems and is freely open. He gets a city map*
<kalonZombee> 6*He jumps into his datapad and puts the data into it before hopping back into his body

<Seraphna> Si> THey probably assume their hidden status was a defense enough...
<Sara> <Erica> Okay... so let's take a look at the two maps together and see what we find.
<kalonZombee> 6*Gor nods, setting his datapad up to overlay the city map over the subway map
<Sara> * Erica squints at the maps
<DeathStar> *the city map shows that the lines were closed for construction and other reasons and traffic was redirected. The city map shows that area to now have what looks to be nothing more than Children's Hospital, not even connected to the railway*

<Sara> <Erica> That's a little... odd but I'm not sure what to make of it...
<Jackieness> <Xeres> "Perhaps you could find some other publically available data to give us more information about what is going on here."
