<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus slides side door open and hops out, moving around to peer at the cave.
<DeathStar> *it seems to be shut down. Up in the sky it looks like some people are leaving the Moon, just to be safe*

<DeathStar> *Their datapads go in and out as the information is sent from Lemon, likely due to the signal breaking up*

* ChadWinters shifts his datapad from his belt to his wrist and glances down at the data trying to be sent

<DeathStar> *it seems to be owned by some mining corporation that is on the books, Lunar Rock Breaking Mining*
<DeathStar> *it seems to be a typical mining corporation but it could be a shell company*
<DeathStar> *as they move down the tunnel it breaks into various tunnels*
<ChadWinters> Seem's like a normal business. Everything on the books, but that's to be expected.
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus glances at the split and sniffs, then winces again, holding his nose.
<Sara> <Chris> The cleanest-looking faces are the ones with the most blood on them.
<ChadWinters> 6Dias peers at the different pathways then sniffs the air, then get's low and looks around for tracks, getting on all fours
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Lunar Rock Breaking... someone has a sense of humor."

<DeathStar> *Darien eyes the information Zayne sent while Dias acts like a dog*
<DeathStar> *Dias would see tracks from the miners*
<DeathStar> *it definitely seems the mines are used.*
<ChadWinters> 6Dias pops up, sneezing and then wipes dust off his face. 1"I see miner tracks." 6He points which at basically all the tunnels
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Yeah, but this place is like a maze."
<Seraphna> Angela> Hope we don't have to differentiate again.
<DeathStar> *the team has 4 pathways*
<DeathStar> <Zayne> So do we leave it lady luck, or is there some way to figure it out

<ChadWinters> I imagine it would be the least travelled. Most likely an older tunnel system. Less chances for actual workers to stumble upon.

<Xanatos`> <Marcus> I can barely see right now, so someone else choose.
<DeathStar> <Darien> The map only notes that it's underground far underground
<Seraphna> **Angela muses** There must be a way to figure this out... **she pulls out a datapad and starts scanning to see if there's active power running down any of the passages**
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Unless the workers are all in on it."
<ChadWinters> That is a possibility.
<DeathStar> *everything seems shut off right now*
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Maybe look for the biggest power cable?"
* ChadWinters eye's seem to go distant and shift to a greyish color as he activates his Tranquillo ability.
<Seraphna> Angela> No power to trace... maybe we can look for the source of the jamming?
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> You know, there's no workers, why would there be power?
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> It's like you all don't understand how wireless signals and work sites function.
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> Someone just pick something, Dias which footsteps are the least!?
<DeathStar> *Chad would see foot steps on all the tunnels, many on the first and fourth; there's cables on the 2nd and 3rd. There's some strange patterns on the 2nd that one should examine to learn more*
<DeathStar> *there's markers on the ground in the middle where they are at, likely arrows pointing at things for the workers, and equipment - mining to the sides, shut off*
* ChadWinters seems to moves towards the 2nd pathway, looking at the strange patterns, getting close to them
<DeathStar> *the mining equipment looks old, and not really that good*
<ChadWinters> <Dias> I'm only good at tracking a target if I'm fighting it. 6He shrugs a bit.
<DeathStar> *the patterns seem to be a large square with a d in the middle lower right of it*
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Maybe you should learn a new skill..."
<DeathStar> *d - dot
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus nods and moves over to Chad.
* ChadWinters doesn't seem to sense Marcus moving over to him. 1"Somethings off about this." 6He points at the marking and relays the info about the rest of the tunnels
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> That's the only weird thing. Let's go. 6* He moves past Chad and on in.
<DeathStar> *Zayne and Darien follow them. They soon reach a dead end - this tunnel looks like it hasn't been mined that much, the mining wall mined to be kind fairly solid almost blocky*
* ChadWinters blinks and his eyes return to their normal color and he stands upwards. He glances at Marcus moving ahead of him then around a bit as he regains his senses and moves after everyone.
<Sara> (Was that supposed to be Zephyr, again?)
<ChadWinters> 6Dias hops along Marcus then stops as he eyes the wall.
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> I sure hope it's a fake wall. What do you think? 6* he says to Dias.
<DeathStar> *Zeph aims her buster*
<DeathStar> <Zeph> I can blast it
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Maybe Dias should punch it."
<ChadWinters> 6Dias eyes the wall, tapping it a bit.
<DeathStar> *it feels like a cave wall*
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus holds up a finger, going to the opposite side of Dias and taps as well.
<ChadWinters> 6Dias then get's real close, putting his ear against it.

<DeathStar> *sounds solid*
* ChadWinters glances around the area, looking for any signs of air flow or movement
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> Were we wrong? Huh. 6* He steps back, looking around.
<ChadWinters> <Dias> Sounds solid. Feels solid.
<DeathStar> *Darien hmms*
* Stretch`cell has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 189 seconds)
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus shifts around suddenly to try and shoulder check into the wall.
<ChadWinters> 6Dias follows suit with Marcus

<Seraphna> Angela> Seems like a dead end.
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> Gaaaaaahhh. 6* He steps back, rubbing his shoulder.
<ChadWinters> 6Dias hops back. 1"Definetly solid."
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Well. Want me to shoot it?
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> Either a REALLY thick door or dead end. Look for a button before we go try another tunnel.
<ChadWinters> Hmmm. I wonder if that symbol was a button. 6He keeps looking around
<Seraphna> Angela> Seems to be the only way if this isn't a dead end, but it looks like a dead end. Or try that button thing.
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus ooohs and runs back that way, vanishing in the darkness.
<kalonZombee> <Mi'Na> Let's have Dias push the button.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Then let's hurry it... ... ...is it a good idea to let Marcus push it?"

<DeathStar> *Marcus would find the symbol picture of a wall symbol with a dot in the lower middle right*

<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus kneels down and presses the symbol.
<DeathStar> *it's a cave wall - it seems to be just a painting*
<ChadWinters> 6Dias glances at the wall.
* ChadWinters taps his arm then moves over to the wall, kneeling down to the lower middle right and feels his right hand around
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> The dot is in the lower right. Check there - check there - check there -
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus shouts out for the group.

<DeathStar> <Zephyr> Push in the lower right
* ChadWinters feels for the spot then pushes in
<Jackieness> <Reikana> *walks back* "Maybe its a clue as to which tunnel to take, not a button."
<DeathStar> *the wall begins to sink and lower into the floor - it's 5 feet thick*
<DeathStar> *showing the tunnel continues on*
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> Hear that rumble?! 6* He says to Reikana, smiling and running back after the group.
<ChadWinters> 6Dias snaps his finger, cursing a bit. 1"I knew I could've punched through that!"
<ChadWinters> Interesting. 6He stands up, looking down the pathway
<Jackieness> <Reikana> *makes a talking gesture with her hand and then heads back down the tunnel*
<Seraphna> Angela> Secret passages, totally normal part of mining operations.
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus runs past Angela, moving deeper into the mine.
<ChadWinters> Let's keep moving. 6He starts walking down the pathway, keeping his eyes peeled about
<DeathStar> *as they move on, suddenly a shot flies at them and hits the cave wall and Zephyr ducks as part of the cave falls in* <Darien> ... *he ducks down* Is it a good idea for shooting to go on in a cave
<DeathStar> *more shots fly, hitting parts of the cave, making the mining tunnel shake*
<Seraphna> *Angela grunts and pulls up a Holy Shield** Looks like we can't stand around here.
* ChadWinters moves to hide behind some debris, looking down the pathway the best he can.
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus falls into a baseball slide as the shots start flying, trying to get a view of the shooter.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> *ducks down* "who is doing the shooting?!"

<ChadWinters> 6Dias ducks, dips, dives the shots.
<DeathStar> <Darien> Darien. Chad. You're the dead shots of the group. *down the tunnel, near a dead an elevator, three people with sniper rifles are firing*
<DeathStar> *figuring since there is little cover they will get them*
<DeathStar> *Zephyr takes a shit to the shoulder and Darien's exoskeleton is hit in the arm, making it spark*
<Seraphna> **Tabetha frowns and focuses on one, attempting to TK the man and start beating another with his body**
<ChadWinters> I see them finally. 6He pulls out his gun and locks into the 3 enemies, firing three consecutive shots, twisting the bullets around their cover and into the sides of their heads
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus kneels down trying to keep his body a small target.
<DeathStar> *As Tabetha manages to TK grab one, the other two kick that one away from them and shoot him away; Chad manages to take out a second one; leaving a lone sniper*
<DeathStar> *the lone sniper grabs something and begins to prepare it - dynamite*
<DeathStar> <Darien> Chris - Chad. You might want to shoot him. Now
<DeathStar> *he works on his arm*
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Is that guy stupid and crazy?!"
* ChadWinters quickly drops his clip and starts loading another way, firing again, his eyes shifting grey once more
<kalonZombee> <Mi'Na> Yes!
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus shifts to start running at the guy, just in case Chad misses.
<kalonZombee> 6*Mi'Na pulls out her rifle and takes a few shots when it's safe
<ChadWinters> 6Dias pushes off the ground, running in alongside Marcus
<Sara> * Chris takes aim and fires
<DeathStar> *Chad somehow misses, Mi'Na somehow misses, and the guy lights the dynamite as Marcus and Dias near him but Chris shoots him successfully and he dies, the dynamite flying*
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Pull out the lit cordite!"
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus leaps, trying to catch the dynamite.
<ChadWinters> 6Dias leg's tense and as he activates his primary move, doubling his speed and he rips past Marcus, his left hand snapping out at the cord to seperate it from the rest of the dynamite
<DeathStar> *somehow both Dias and Marcus catch it at the same time, smashing int oeach other*
<DeathStar> <Zephyr> I guess that counts as a win. *She notes as they land on top of it*
<Seraphna> Angela> Well we're alive so that's a yes, sis.
<DeathStar> *the elevator looks depowered, with a switch to power it up*
* ChadWinters takes deep breathes as he the color of his eyes return back to normal
<Jackieness> <Reikana> *looks at Marcus and Dias* "I'll ship it."
<ChadWinters> 6Dias peers upat Marcus, ontop of him. 1"I got there first."
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus holds up his half of the dynamite, Dias getting the end to pull out fuse.
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> Looks like you did.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Looks like Dias... snrrrrk... alreayd pulled out."
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus pushes Dias off of him and stands up, groaning and popping his back.
<ChadWinters> 6Dias let's out a squeek noise and he flips up onto his feet. 1"That was exciting."
<Seraphna> **Angela snaps a picture for Cherry to enjoy later**
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> So uh, when we power this baby up it'll really alert them we're coming.
* ChadWinters moves down the the tunnel after everyone else and glances around at the gunners and then the elevator
<DeathStar> <Darien> How else do you plan to get down there
<Seraphna> Angela> Somehow I think they're already alerted.
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> Rip out the bottom, jump down.
<DeathStar> <Darien> ...
<ChadWinters> <Dias> Old school. I like it.
<Seraphna> Angela> Even the Dragoons aren't going to like that landing.

<DeathStar> <Darien> After all it might be fatal
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> I"m kidding. Shield-chan you get in the front, the rest of us will stand behind you. 6* He thumbs to Angela as he pushes the button to power it up and gets in.
<Seraphna> Angela> And I leapt out of helicopters before.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "...Marcus wants a go at the hole this time."
<Seraphna> Angela> Sh-Sheld-chan!?
<DeathStar> *the elevator powers up and lights come on

<Seraphna> **Angela sighs and forms her armor and weapons**
<DeathStar> *Darien enters and Zephyr follows* Shield-chan. I like it

* ChadWinters steps on to the elevator, moving to the back and leaning against the wall.

* ChadWinters holds his gun up ready, contemplating shooting either Marcus or himself now

<DeathStar> *as they descend, it keeps going and going until they begin to enter the center of the moon that looks a bit creepy - it looks like they been carving into the moon's center*
<DeathStar> *they seem to have a giant machine that has been built, with lots of facilities and other stuff that spans the area, and the machine looks like to have drills and other devices all over*
<DeathStar> *and it's beginning to power up*
<ChadWinters> Looks like we found it.
<ChadWinters> <Dias> I can't wait to punch it.
<DeathStar> *suddenly a rocket flies out of one of the facilities at the elevator*
<DeathStar> <Darien> Incoming
<Seraphna> **Tabetha attempts to turn it around with TK.
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> Shield chaaaaan! 6* He hides behind Darien.
<Seraphna> * ANgela forms her Holy Shield
<kalonZombee> 6*Mi'Na tries to shoot as many rockets as she can down to save the energy on the dragoons
<DeathStar> *somehow, despite the distance, Tabetha gets lucky and sends it back, blowing it up but that sends up more alarms as they re now 25% down*
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "Wonder what went through Dante's mind as he traveled through the Ninth Circle..."
<DeathStar> *two more rockets fly at the elevator*
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> Probably, 'Why the fuck are they shooting rockets at me?''
* ChadWinters moves around to the side of the elevator, aiming his pistol towards one and tries firing normal shots at it.
<Seraphna> * Angela braces, Tabetha firing at one of the rockets*
<DeathStar> *Chad clips it and it begins to move more wildly, while Tabetha misses entirely. It's now seconds away*

* ChadWinters fires two tracked shots at it, burning another ability point

<Seraphna> * Angela growls and keeps her shield ready, helmet closing*
<DeathStar> *they blow up and shake the elevator, destablizing it*

<Seraphna> **Tabetha begins opening fire on the area the rockets came from in order to hopefully pin some down**
* ChadWinters takes two more deep breathes, his eyes darting around now.
<Jackieness> <Reikana> "We're still only halfway down...
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> That was my favorite shoe. 6* He says sadly.
<DeathStar> *Tabetha would fire at that area but it is hard from the elevator after all*
<DeathStar> *3 rockets fire off*
<Seraphna> **Tab is just providing cover fire, it's more or less Spray and Pray, however she burns an ability point to restore TK and try another rocket**

* ChadWinters takes in another deep breath, tuning everyone out and fires 2 quick shots, curving the bullets to adjust their tracking
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus pulls his shotgun off his back finally, firing a spray out for one of the rockets.
<Seraphna> **Angela keeps her shield up**
<kalonZombee> 6*Mi'Na focuses fire on one rocket, trying to get it before it gets to them
<Seraphna> Angela> Hey awesome little sister, how close do you need to be to Bustah them to oblivion and back?
<Xanatos`> <Marcus> She's fuck up the elevator at this range.

* ChadWinters leans out from around his corner and fires a couple shots towards them as they rise up
<DeathStar> *the shots strike them, one moving with his helmeted face toward Chad and they put up their grenade launchers, aiming plasma guns to fire at Chad*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *raises a hand and drops a ingularity right on top of the mercs (Dark Matter)
<ChadWinters> 6Dias darts out from behind cover and comes sprinting at full speed towards the 5, the black marking crackling a bit but fading as he comes towards them

<Seraphna> **Angela then rushes in, using the remains of her shield to cover herself as she leaps in with her swords, striking at one of the mercenaries while their attention is on Chad**
<DeathStar> *the marcs struggle a bit with the Dark Matter, one turning and kneecapping Dias*
<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus slides up behind them if he would be able to full flank to their rear. Looking for weakness in their armor.
<DeathStar> *Marcus would see the armor is pretty good, almost like Fallout, but he it could be easily yanked off; also the joints are weak*
<ChadWinters> 6Dias is hit in the knee and he tumbles, rolling, his leg's tensing as he thickens his muscles and he keeps moving in towards the one that now shot him
<DeathStar> *Zephyr fires a bustah at shot at the far left one, who rolls and rises, the armor dented in*
<Seraphna> **Angela goes for one's neck, slicing with her swords**
<DeathStar> *the moon shudders a bit more*
<ChadWinters> Someone needs to get to the machine's controls. We need to shut it down.
<Seraphna> **Tabetha frowns and starts looking over the machine from her vantage point, looking for a good way to shut it down**
<DeathStar> *Angela manages to strike one of the Mercs, making them make a noise and they aim their plasma gun at her face*

<Xanatos`> 6* Marcus runs up to try and pull a guy out so he can steal the armor for himself.
<ChadWinters> 6Dias comes in low swinging as hard as he possible can with his right foot towards one of the merc's knee's
