<DeathStar> <Shion> They will be fighting in about a week and a half. Agni has picked a watery area oddly that makes it hard to move in, meaning combat will be sluggish and sword swinging will be constrictive. One would think
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Clearly it must offer some manner of advantage."
<DeathStar> <Shion> So to pick that will likely give Agni an advantage. Agni is younger than Jules, but Jules has more combat experience.
<Stretch`cell> Kaylin> Tactically speaking if Agni specializes in ranged attacks it would be a great advantage for him.
<ChadWinters> <Id> And vice versa.
<DeathStar> <Shion> We will need to be ready to see how the people will react if Agni wins. The Alliance will need to be on standby to help quell unrest
<Xanatos`> <Bix> Jules + Fire = Evaporated water. Steam obscures ocular senses.
<DeathStar> <Shion> Yes. This is a type of fire and water battle, isn't it?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "A grudge is not a solid foundation for a transition of power."
<DeathStar> <Shion> But if Agni is to embrace the legacy of fire he cannot rely on water. Plus can they even use powers in the battle

<ChadWinters> <Id> In theory, wiping them out should be easy. It comes down to whether we want to control the population sizes or not.
<DeathStar> <Shion> Plant, beast, flying types, slimes.

<Seraphna> Jennifer> My sister in law spoke of a plant monster infestation.
<DeathStar> <Shion> And within those they have various traits. They do not all act the same. Like some go after women and do things to them. You could put them into a category. Others simply could kill people. Others avoid people
<DeathStar> <Shion> And they all seem to have been growing in number over the past few years or so. *Ymir frowns in thought*
<Seraphna> Jennifer> WHat's the likely cause, do we know?
<Xanatos`> 6* Bix blinks a few times.
<DeathStar> <Shion> I think there's about 30ish types. *she peers at Sasha* Some claim there might be monsters that are on the verge/close to Daemons
<DeathStar> <Shion> Very intelligent, can blend in
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Possible, though some of the daemon community might protest at that claim."
<DeathStar> <Athena> *peers at her ears, wiggling*
<DeathStar> <Shion> But Jennifer is right. I wonder what the cause might be
<ChadWinters> <Id> Odds would be an outside source.
<DeathStar> <Shion> This is going to be a problem as attacks begin to rise over the years
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "We can't dismiss the possibility that the force behind the outlaws are now changing their patronage."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "You are not going anywhere. Top of the class gets the gold star badgae."

<Jackieness> <Sasha> *walks to the head of the room* "Welcome. The Alliance has a need, so we shall fulfill it. This is a crash course on monster lore to get you ready for your field mission. Assisting me shall be these distinguished experts in their respective fields... biology, tactics, etc etc."
<Xanatos`> 6* Bix slowly lifts up his hand, a little bug crawling on his finger.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And to keep you motivated, the student who gets the top grade gets a gold star badge."
<Stretch`cell> *The panther walks around the various instructors sniffing at them before laying next to Sasha's feet*

<DeathStar> *Being Professors, they talk about the most innae details of the monsters, right down to the monster's parts, etc. etc. It likely stretches for hours and hours*
<DeathStar> *going through each monster, how it functions, how it thinks, how it moves, how it reproduces, either asexual, either another monster, uses a human, etc*
<DeathStar> *putting up images of them, going through each one, showing flying types, slime types, monsters as big as behemonths, some as small as a dog, some look almost human like, etc*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *takes time to relay details from her past missions, tactics used, weaknesses, and what not to do...*
<DeathStar> *Athena has forced herself into a coma*
<DeathStar> *they sometimes show monsters that they have no data on, with musings on, which are surprising a lot of - a little under half*
<DeathStar> <Professor A> Any questions?
<DeathStar> *Athena slumps off her seat*
<Seraphna> **Jen puts her in her lap**
<Seraphna> Sammael> I think I have everything... is there a reason nearly half the monsters lack samples?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Now for something special... the very same exam that I had to take when I was a student here." *sets the tets papers out* "Those who fail have to sit through this a second time until they are ready for the field."
<DeathStar> <Professor A> Most monsters we don't have samples. Even the ones we have information on.
<ChadWinters> <Id> I imagine you will want any data we come across and samples if given the opportunity?
<DeathStar> <Professor A> Dead monster samples strangely does not give much information. Their cells decay very rapidly and most adventurerers do not think to take it.
<ChadWinters> <Id> That is odd.
<DeathStar> <Professor A> Their blodo is very toxic
<DeathStar> <Professor B> Try not to get much of it on you
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Some of their fluids can be corrosive... especially to fabric."
<DeathStar> <Professor A> Yes, especially slimes.
<DeathStar> <Professor A> Like I mentioned 2 horus ago. *Athena foams*
<DeathStar> <Professor C> Most information we have is from verbal encounters and rare sketches and recent "Photos"
<Xanatos`> <Bix> ... 6* Bix finally looks back to the other after the bug flies off of his arm.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *walks around, passing out the exam* "You have one hour."

<DeathStar> *Cypher works on her test. Athena eyes the test, then pulls Jennifer's top down and throws her into Sasha's arms*(

<ChadWinters> 6Id fills it out quickly if it's a digital test. If it's paper, well then he does nothing on it since he's got no arms
