<DeathStar> 6* The following day, the team is still in the main Great Forest city. That is all. Celes is musing in the main room area, looking over what maps there are of the Great Forest, while Selena is out on the treetops outside, peering over the city itself.

<Xanatos> 6* Simon has been working on the rune blade, mostly trying to learn as much as he can from it.

<Xanatos> <Xan> I contracted plants once. It's a real pain in the ass to cure.

<DeathStar> <Celes> It would have been easier if Leaf or Cassava was the descendant.
<Seraphna> Jaime> We'll have to be careful of the monsters when we travel. They're getting really aggressive.
<Xanatos> <Simon> We haven't checked them yet. Perhaps that should be our first step.
<Jackieness> <Lana> *yawns and pulls a pillow over her head*
<DeathStar> <Celes> That is true. We should check in with them before we go.
<DeathStar> *Celes gathers her stuff and lugs her ridiculously large backpack onto her back*

<Seraphna> Jaime> Gnome should know where all the villages are, even the ones they like to keep quiet I think?

<DeathStar> *Erevis follows Celes down to Leaf and Cassava's place, where they seem to have gathered some stuff for the team since last time*

<DeathStar> <Celes> We are thinking about going to some of the other cities in the Great Forest to find the descendant. <Cassava> *nods* We thought you might. We been going over some of our family notes. We do have some distant family in other cities that might know more. But neither of us have been in contact with them. Apparently our parents - both - have had fallen outs with them
<DeathStar> *Leaf eyes Lana* It should wear off in time. I suggest you not spend so long in there being one of us
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Riiiiiiiight... drink some caffeine before deep-diving again..."
<Xanatos> <Simon> Before we go, we have not scanned either of you yet. Would you be willing for me to perform this spell and check?
<Seraphna> Jaime> It would be a refreshing change of pace if the Royal Families were still in place.
<DeathStar> <Cassava> I suppose so? <Leaf> And if you need a guide to the other cities I will accompany you
<Xanatos> 6* Simon nods and begins to perform the incantation to check.
<DeathStar> *one of them seems to have a high amount of descendant blood - not a lot, but a high amount.*
<DeathStar> *probably 55%, maybe 60%*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon moves closer to determine which of the two it actually is.

<Xanatos> <Simon> You have a high amount of descendant blood. Around half of your bloodline.
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Is that more than we need? Or do we need to find to find someone with a stronger blondline along with their weapon?
<DeathStar> <Celes> That is a good question. I know us Hapians have... probably done some stuff to keep it strong. But others probably were clueless
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Or I imagine not concerned enough. Perhaps we should go to where her relatives reside?
<DeathStar> <Leaf> ... even if I am this descendant person I have nothing else you were talking about. No weapons or anything else
<Seraphna> **Jaime blinks** I don't think we've properly asked Gnome about any sort of weapons or artifacts tied to her either.
<DeathStar> *Sylph leans on a tree, eating fruit*
<DeathStar> *uncharistically quiet*
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> But we atleast have a lead to follow on.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Well it seems many of us spirits have had "weapons" tied to us that we don't know about. Due to these "heroes" being alive before us or whatever.
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods** You're right... and Gnome was born after these as well so I doubt she'd know...
<Jackieness> <Lana> "They must be tied to the elements.... if you cna understand that."
<DeathStar> <Sylph> They were probably meant for the "real" Spirits
<Seraphna> **Jaime huffs** You are the real Spirits.
<Xanatos> <Simon> Do you have ancestors still living that could potentially know more? 6* He asks Leaf.
<Sara> <Ellie> You're the only kind of spirit that matters... Sylphie.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> *she eyes Jaime, then smiles at Ellie and cheek rubs*
<DeathStar> *Selena quietly uses the pinging spell on Ellie while Simon and Alita are about*
<Sara> <Ellie> That was probably unduly harsh toward other kinds of spirits... But you get what I mean, and that meaning is wholehearted.
<Seraphna> **Jaime looks back, then away and frowns, looking a bit sad**
<DeathStar> <Leaf> Well, like I said, according to these notes we found are correct. Are you ready to go to the other cities now?
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Sure.
<DeathStar> *Selena nods at what she sees and turns to Cassava* Tell that girl we met that we had a lot of fun with her show. And we hope to meet her again

<DeathStar> *Selena whispers something to her mothers, nodding to Ellie. Celes nods in thought*
<Sara> * Liana makes an odd face
<Seraphna> **Alita moves over as well, smiling a bit**
<DeathStar> *they appear at the sea, surprisingly, the Great Forest behind them*
<DeathStar> *Clearing a space of land at the edge of the sea, they have knocked down dying trees to form the piers, and being so large they formed enough for the ships and the piers. Having the largest ships in the land, able to carry tons of cargo and people - up to 500 on their ships, their piers are able to dock up to 35 ships.
<Seraphna> Alita> Now THIS is my kind of town!
<DeathStar> *The city itself is built into the base of the trees and up along it. The warehouses are built along the base, and using the insides of the Great Trees for storage, with the vine huts built along it to protect the entrances to the trees.*
<Xanatos> <Xan> I...did not expect this, honestly.
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC looks ever so slightly confused. 1"This is an odd site...."
<DeathStar> *the city itself is more like a human city with shops that are more catering to human desires and other stuff. Leaf sighs, making a face*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Jaime, ask if they have a public beach!"
<Seraphna> **Jaime blushes and looks to Leaf.** I-Is there a beach?
<DeathStar> <Leaf> This is the one spot where we can get goods and stuff we might need to take back to the Great Forest. Also Ents and Venus have needs - we are a female race.
<DeathStar> <Leaf> But I still do not like coming here that much
<Seraphna> Jaime> THank you for coming with us especially then. It means a lot you'd come when you don't like the area just for us.
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> It is a stark difference from where we came from.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> ... <Leaf> You know I can understand you, Lana
<DeathStar> <Leaf> I am an Ent
<DeathStar> <Leaf> And no we do not.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Sorry, I already got used to needing a translator!"
<DeathStar> *Lana's language seems to be slowly reverting back to normal, with only some words being Entish*

<Xanatos> 6* Xan seems to be looking for some sort of place to go take a nap, shielding his eyes from the bright light.
<Seraphna> **Jaime smiles** I've been learning Entish and Venus since you're Gnome's people.
<DeathStar> *she walks along the docks, past the people who are talking to the Ents and Venus, likely hoping for an easy hook up, and going to the part of the city where people life. Sylph looks around, curious - clearly not coming here often*
<DeathStar> *the area is also colder due to the lack of trees, with some snow falling here and there, and Selena walks along*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...this place is like a big singles bar."
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Is it?
<DeathStar> <Leaf> *sighs, depressed*
<Seraphna> Jaime> You okay? *she looks to Leaf**
<DeathStar> <Leaf> ... I hope this place is a no go so we can leave to the next spot
<DeathStar> <Leaf> This place is a disgrace but the people would not be happy if I closed it down
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods** Well... need somewhere to trade with outsiders right? **she peers around**
<DeathStar> *they arrive at a large building - clearly her relative runs part of the city. Leaf knocks and an Ent opens and studies Leaf, then the others. They seem old, by Ent standards*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon bows his head in greeting. Xan is looking off to the side.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> So this is where Jaime's mother came from. *she notes*
<DeathStar> *she looks around*
<Seraphna> **Jaime bows slightly, fixing the skirt of her gown, then falls over when Erevis says that**
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC seems to be taking in the scenery as they arrive.
<Seraphna> Jaime> M-Mooom....!
<Xanatos> <Xan> Hm? 6* He looks back, distracted.
<DeathStar> <Elderly Ent> ... so little Leaf deamed to show up
<DeathStar> *Erevis keeps a straight face*
<ChadWinters> 6SPoc turns to see Jaime fall then glances at Erevis. 1"Her balance seems to be off. Or was she leaning towards the sun too much?"
<DeathStar> <Elderly Ent> ... well. Might as well come in. *she notes, with little respect. Inside the place is well furnished; the Ent is clearly rich and she has Fuana servants(
<Seraphna> **Jaime pouts more, probably getting too frazzled at the joke now**
<DeathStar> *Erevis pats Jaime's head*
<Seraphna> **Jaime hugs her and gets up**
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Hmmm... icy."
<DeathStar> *Leaf eyes the inside of the house, frowning and takes a seat, leaning on her wooden stick*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon glances around oddly, noting the interaction between the two.
<DeathStar> <Gwen> *whistles. The servants wear little - likely on purpose and they bow and move to pour them all drinks - some sort of nectar like drink. Leaf looks aghast at their state of dress*
<Sara> <Ellie> *whispering to Sylph* If this is how people are supposed to dress I am not going to conform.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> Sylph thinks this person just likes to show off her power over other races. *she is covering Fae's eyes*
<DeathStar> *she whispers*
<DeathStar> <Leaf> *begins to explain why Celes is here and their hunt*
<Seraphna> **Jaime, who is actually just wearing mud, is finding herself less and less flustered by these things, sipping at the drink**
<DeathStar> <Elderly Ent> ... *eyes them* Ah. I'm afraid you came here for nothing. I got nothing to give you. No "weapon" of some hero or rare documents. But I have heard the tales you speak of.
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> What can you tell us of what you've heard.
<Xanatos> <Simon> Any information you could share would be greatly appreciated.
<DeathStar> <Elderly Ent> What I'm about to tell you is just tales I've heard from my mother and her sisters. What is mostly believed is Gnome created the Ents and Venus and the others in the forest due to her being lonely and loving nature. But that is not entirely accurate
<Jackieness> <Lana> "And recording~"
<DeathStar> <Elderly Ent> It is believed there was a race of people who lived here before the Ents and Venus that was related to the First Ones - the Ancients. And they struggled to survive in harsh life of the Forest.
<DeathStar> <Elderly Ent> But the Great Forest is no easy thing to tame and they limped along for a time, their numbers barely there. It is believed that Gnome turned the people of the Forest into the Ents/Venus so they could survive the harsh life. Or maybe they were already evolving into the Ents/Venus
<DeathStar> <Elderly Ent> There are contradicting stories
<Seraphna> **Jaime muses, another thing that her Gnome might not know due to rebirth** And it's hard for Gnome herself to confirm too...
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Is is common for evolution to happen so quickly on this planet? 6She looks over at Celes
<DeathStar> <Celes> I'm not sure. <Sylph> Well. *She thinks* Gnomey is the youngest of us.
<Xanatos> <Simon> Fascinating...the ents and venus are younger than I realized.
<DeathStar> <Sylph> I think I started noticing the Ents around 4,000 years ago
<DeathStar> <Sylph> But this hero guy had to have entered the Forest 12,000 years ago
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods** I guess when we get close to a weapon or something involving her, I might be able to feel it out now.
<Xanatos> <Xan> That's a very long time. You would expect if they were struggling that they would've died off before then.
<Seraphna> Jaime> But we're still running a little blind.
<DeathStar> <Elderly Ent> Like I said, just stories that I've been told. It might all be crap
<Xanatos> <Simon> We must find the truth buried within. Thank you very much for the story.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well, all stories have grains of truth to them... that's how they get to be stories.
<DeathStar> <Celes> I think after this journey is over we will need to pin Aska down to learn more
<DeathStar> <Celes> She is the only one who has been around all 12,000 years now that Shade is missing

<DeathStar> <Celes> Don't say that, please. *she tells, SPoC as they exit. Erevis puts a coat on the Fauna as they leave*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon bows his head to the elder and steps out after Leaf.
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> My apologies. 6She bows to Celes.
<Xanatos> <Xan> So, they did not like you very much. 6* he says to Leaf after he steps out.
<DeathStar> <Leaf> My Aunt is... eccentric and into money.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...you don't say?"
<DeathStar> <Leaf> She would rather live near the port and be with wealth than in the capital
<Seraphna> **Jaime steps out and sighs a bit** I'm guessing she's the sort where tradition wouldn't have helped much in swaying more out of her.
<DeathStar> <Leaf> Next stop is a village I like
<Seraphna> **Jaime smiles** Good.
<DeathStar> *Sylph looks at the map and uses her powers. They appear in the Forest again, away from the snow*
<DeathStar> *Built on the ground, it is a section of the forest that is more opened up and has a field of sunflowers. The Ents that live here are very into them, some even having Sunflowers grown into their clothing and parts of them. Their village is built up with trees and strong vines to provide walled protection against various monsters that are out there. Their homes, vined houses that are typically the size of very large huts that can fit many things inside it - like Millia's village in Xillia 1 - are grouped together with no district. The Sunflower Village works together, growing their food and substance.*
<Xanatos> <Xan> Aaaand now for something different.
<Seraphna> **Jaime, seeing that they're in a better part of the forest, calls Gnome to her to join them.** This place is VERY nice.
<DeathStar> *Selena looks around and breathes it in* Flowery
<DeathStar> <Erevis> .. Hm
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Interesting that they have sunflowers similiar to Earths.
<DeathStar> <Leaf> You have these flowers, too?
<DeathStar> <Leaf> We got the seeds from Kumen
<Xanatos> <Xan> Recently?
<Sara> <Ellie> Of all the places...
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods** The seeds are also edible to us. They prepare them all kinds of ways.
<DeathStar> <Leaf> It was over a many many many decades ago. They got it from their homeworld that was lost.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Mirror universe
<Seraphna> Jaime> Yeah, their homeworld was an alternative one of ours.
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> That does not make it any less odd to me.
<DeathStar> *Leaf leads them into the village center, moving past the various Ents and Venus, heading for a certain house*
<DeathStar> *Sylph looks for fruit*
<Seraphna> **Jaime walks with her hand in Gnome's**
<DeathStar> *Gnome yawns sleepily, walking along*
<Seraphna> Jaime> I didn't wake you too early, did I love?
<DeathStar> <Gnome> No. *Eyes closed, following along*
<Seraphna> **Jaime picks her up and carries her**
<DeathStar> *a tiny, stereotypical elderly person Ent opens the door*
<DeathStar> *even shorter than the young Leaf*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> *whispers* They're shriveling up. Like a plant
<Xanatos> 6* Simon bows his head in greeting.
<DeathStar> <Old Ent> Hm. Hello there. *they note, peering them over. <Leaf> Hello, Aunt. These people would like to speak with you. *the old Ent motions them inside the tiny building with barely any room to sit, with just a few wooden stumps to sit on*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> ... *awkwardly ducks and sits*
<Seraphna> **Jaime takes a seat, holding Gnome in her lap**
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC remains outside, kneeling at the doorway to listen
<Jackieness> <Lana> *squeezes in and takes a seat*
<Xanatos> 6* Xan pauses and stays in the doorway, while Simon squeezes himself in as well.
<DeathStar> *Sylph eyes them, then makes Ellie sit on her lap*

<DeathStar> <Old Ent> So what can I help you with? *she offers Simon and the others a strange tea with sunflower taste*
<DeathStar> *Leaf sips it*

<Sara> * Liana eyes it, then takes a sip carefully
<DeathStar> *Celes explains why they are there - once again. The Old Ent listens and nods.*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon takes the tea and sips it.
<DeathStar> <Old Ent> Oh. Ah. Hm. *she nods* One moment
<DeathStar> *she shuffles into the back of the house, looking around.*
<DeathStar> <Celes> ... *she eyes Simon* So...
<Xanatos> <Simon> So.
<DeathStar> *Selena wonders how sunflower tea will taste*
<Seraphna> **Jaime sips some teas as well, smiling a bit**
<DeathStar> *the little house is very messy. A crooked table that has something under it keeping it even, papers all over the top of the desk, a chest in the corner, a bed in the corner with stuff under it, a tiny bedroom with stuff in it*
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I believe she is a hoarder
<Xanatos> <Xan> My grandma, rest in piece, was a hoarder.
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC peeks around Xan's side. 1"I do not believe this tiny place can be considered hoarding.
<DeathStar> *the ent woman can be heard moving about in the back - she likely will be there a while*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon begins to channel the spell for the descendant, assuming that's what Celes wants him to do.

<DeathStar> *the monster makes a noise of pain, bleeding and blinded; it begins to stagger away toward the forest, making whimpering noises*
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns, not liking the noises much and looks to Gnome** Do we spare it or put it down love?

<Xanatos> 6* Simon tilts his head at the monster fleeing when he steps out, he forms his spear and uses saboteur magic to power up his speed, dashing after it in a burst of speed.

<DeathStar> <Gnome> *the monster turns and tries to bite at Simon, hoping to eat him as he dashes in, but is staggered by Jaime*
