<Seraphna> Jaime> Do you have any of those secret passages with the pictures mounted to a wall with the eyes cut out so you can spy on people?

<DeathStar> *they come out in what appears to have been once a garden long ago, the plants long dried out. The spirit-tech having kept the plants alive but no longer functioning.

<Seraphna> **Jaime looks over the plants too** Mmm, so we should summon her. Anyone pacted or should I go get Alita real quick?
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves through the garden, looking for any sign of the weapon."
<Xanatos> <Simon> Hm. 6* He glances around to see what sort of device could have kept them alive.
<DeathStar> *the spirit-tech seems to have used sprites of various kinds - light sprites, water, etc*
<DeathStar> *Celes looks around and sees nothing but the plants* Apparently it was just a personal garden. I wonder why when there was a royal garden
<Seraphna> Jaime> That's what has me curious about reviving them.
<DeathStar> *Celes moves to go back up the stairs*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon tries to ascertain if this spirit tech would consume the sprites outright.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "sister, you and I both know that there are sceret gardens alll over the palace."

<Seraphna> **Jaime, getting no answer about anyone pacted, vanishes a moment into the shadows and reappears with Alita, who looks flustered, but summons Brooke**

<Xanatos> <Simon> This tech needs the following sprites to fucntion again. 6* He begins to list them off to Jaime since she seems interested in the revival of these plants.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix jumps up to his feet after a bit and jogs off after Celes
<DeathStar> <Celes> I just hope one day these mysteries are not going to be the end of this place
<Seraphna> **Jaime nods slowly, while Alita calls up Brooke to see what she can do to help**
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "You realie this is likely one of a multitude of such gardens abandoned to neglect..."
<DeathStar> *Selena and Erevis move on while Erevis waits along while Brooke appears, peering at them, looking confused why she is in a room*

<Seraphna> **Alita holds out her hand to the plants** Jaime would like to know if you can do something to revive these, while she finds sprites to power the mechanism.

<Xanatos> <Simon> A multitude of something means we should leave it to die? 6* He tilts his head and moves to follow those leaving now.
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns with concern, seemingly really driven to tree hugging nowadays.**
<DeathStar> *as Celes walks along the hallways with her map, some servants lead SpoC and Nicolette to the group, minus those still in the room*

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Are there any other gaps in the map for us to search, sister?"

<DeathStar> *Adeline studies Nicolette; she appears to be a 15 year old with long white hair and red eyes*

<DeathStar> <Celes> There's not really any gaps in the map to go by, Sasha. *she eyes* Oldest places...
<Seraphna> **Jaime bites her lower lip** I'm a bit conflicted, it seems wrong to not let something grow just because it can be used for a bad thing.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "The oldest parts of the palace would be those directly under the throne room."
<Ari`> <Nicolette> "Treasure and... harmful plants?"
<DeathStar> <Celes> Hm. I'm not so sure. *she lays the map out*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Do you have a thought then?"
<Sara> * Liana peers over the map
<DeathStar> <Celes> You would think that area of the castle would be the oldest, but the throne room area is at the highest part of the castle, near where the royal family lives. If we have to make with people of the city, there is an area for that, but the throne to meet with important people is up here. *she moves her finger up to the upper levels, then to where the hall is for meeting with the public further down.*
<DeathStar> <Celes> But to get that high up the lower levels had to be built first, would they not?
<Seraphna> Jaime> I guess we'll leave it up to the Queens... since it'd also be rude to start regrowing poisons in their castle.
<DeathStar> *Erevis pats Jaime, leading her back to Celes and the others*
<DeathStar> *Selena leans over to Nicolette* We are looking for the royal family's treasure

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "As I sad, below the throne room."
<Ari`> <Nicolette> "Couldn't you, like... ask gnome to come and find the oldest stonework?"
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Though perhaps not 'directly' so..."
<DeathStar> <Celes> IF you want to be semantics. I still would say below the throne room leads to the garden areas or servant quarters
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "And what about below that? Below the ground level even."

<Seraphna> **Jaime follows, Alita shrugging to Brooke** Thanks... do you want to stay and see whatever it is we find? Looking for Aska's legacy weapon.

<Jackieness> <Sasha> "If the palace were built like a layered wedding cake.. the natural place to put the vaults would have been beneath the level of the original structure."
<DeathStar> <Erevis> I can have Xanatos try to find older sections of the castle with his shuttle, too
<DeathStar> <Brooke> I will go back. *she nods, exiting out*
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Erevis does have a good idea. Xan's shuttle should be able to scan for areas that would not normally be found easily
<Seraphna> **Alita follows the others with nothing better to do**
<Xanatos> <Simon> Mr. Durran has been doing that but he said the spirit energy was too much for the sensors.

<DeathStar> <Celes> Very well. Let us divide into teams. *she turns to Jaime, Nicolette, and Gnome* We need to try to find a hidden room in the oldest sections. The castle's oldest areas that are on the map are here. *she points* The ground level has the entrance, the lower level gradens, the lower level library, the servant quarters, ... *she mumbles something about guest rooms* and the castle's armory
<Xanatos> <Bix> Bix = Hiding Master. Hiding locations: Mountains, lakes, swamps, under my bed.

<Xanatos> <Bix> Bix search routine initiated. Location: The guest rooms! 6* He runs off.

<Seraphna> Jaime> Well, the ground is what we do best. **she starts heading to that area with Gnome**
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *starts to decend into the palace*

<Xanatos> <Simon> I will check with the servants and their quarters. 6* He moves off.

<Ari`> <Nicolette> "If it was my castle, the oldest place would probably be the wine cellar... Is there o-" *dragged*

<DeathStar> <Selena> Well. There might be one in the servant area
<DeathStar> *she pauses, eyeing the armory, then Nicolette*
<Ari`> * Nicolette shrugs unknowingly
<DeathStar> *The servant rooms are all nicely organized and clean, their rooms fairly big and are in sight of the kitchens, which are huge. Celes walks with Liana to a decently sized library, though nothing compared to the libraries upstairs*

<Sara> <Liana> Libraries sure are an easy place to hide... anything.
<DeathStar> <Celes> I cannot remember the last time I have in this library, I admit
<DeathStar> *have been
<Seraphna> **Jaime checks the secret area in the garden with Gnome**
<DeathStar> *Gnome looks around - the snow covers a lot of it, with stone walls enclosing areas*
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Why do you say that? 6She asks Liana as she moves over to a book shelf, and pulls one out
<DeathStar> *there seems to be a hedge maze*
<Seraphna> Jaime> *Hmms* Should we check that maze there love?
<DeathStar> *SpoC would find the book shelves bolted to the wall, due to the shelves going up high*

<Xanatos> 6* Simon slowly looks around the servant quarters, are there any servants to speak with?

<DeathStar> *there are plenty of servants; SpoC would find a book on the history of Hapian*

<DeathStar> <Selena> You check the wine cellar, I'll check the armor

<Seraphna> **Jaime takes her hand and moves into it, smiling** We'll be fine.
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC opens the book, flipping through it quickly, looking for any mentions of ancestors or special weapons
<Ari`> <Nicolette> "Ah-! Oh, okay." *tries the find the way to the cellar*
<Xanatos> <Simon> Hello, I'm curious, have you noticed any odd drafts in this area? We think there may be a hidden room and Lady Celes is having me seek it out.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon says to a random group of servants.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix very slowly moves through each guest room, touching the walls, turning things, tugging on stuff.
<ChadWinters> 6SPoC pauses as she flips, tilting her head
<DeathStar> *Bix finds a hidden room. The passage leads to one of those passages with a painting where Bix can spy on people, ala Laura Bow*
<Xanatos> 6* Bix spies on...someone, laughing to himself at how sneaky it is.
<DeathStar> *the servants think and they describe one of the servant rooms is rather drafty*
<DeathStar> *Celes sighs and turns to Liana* Can you think of anything?
<Seraphna> **Jaime tries the old trick of always keeping to the left to try and get through the maze**
<DeathStar> *Nicolette would be led by a servant to the kitchen area where the wine cellar is kept*
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> This is odd. 6She turns and holds the book out to Celes and Liana. 1"Does this look like someone?
<DeathStar> *Celes takes the book and makes a surprised sound*

<Xanatos> 6* Simon steps into the middle of the room and places his finger into his mouth, then pulls it out and waits to feel what direction the draft would come from.
<DeathStar> *Jaime and Gnome seem to keep going and going and going until eventually reaching the center, where a fountain and bench is located*
<DeathStar> *Simon would find a loose stone*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Well... we got here. **she peers around, then feels out the earth under them**
<Sara> * Liana looks at the book
<Xanatos> 6* Simon tries to pull the stone loose or press it in if it's some sort of mechanism.
<DeathStar> *It looks like an arist drawing of Ellie, long ago, with long hair. This Ellie person seems to be a Hapian noble*

<DeathStar> <Celes> A high noble at that
<Sara> <Liana> Certainly not what I expected...
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *steps into the armory* "I thought you might be here, Selena."
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> Would that mean that Ellie is a descendant?
<Ari`> * Nicolette pokes around, not really sure what she's looking for, but hoping to find some sign of a latch. And idly trying to make sense of the labels.

<DeathStar> <Celes> But I am not sure on the descendant
<DeathStar> *Celes flips, eyeing Liana to see if there is a drawing of her family next*
<Seraphna> **Jaime keeps feeling out, gently holding Gnome's hand**
<DeathStar> *Simon pulls the stone loose and finds inside what appears to be a servant's stash of stufff - credits, etc. etc. Jaime finds what appears to be a long buried pendant. Perhaps a lover's item*
<Sara> * Liana blinks and shuffles awkwardly, but peers at the book with her wife
<DeathStar> <Selena> Hello, Auntie. *she seems to have been pulling and pushing on everything*
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "So have you found anything?"
<Seraphna> **Jaime digs it up with spirit energy and cleans it off, musing** Could be nothing, could be something.
<DeathStar> *Nicolette would see rows and rows of bottles, crates, the walls seems to be cobbles and there's a slight draft down here*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon glances around for anything nefarious but would otherwise leave it alone.
<Ari`> * Nicolette conjures some wisps of smoke, and watches how they move
<ChadWinters> <SPoC> I will continue looking around for books that might prove useful to us. 6She turns to begin looking over book spines for anything on history
<DeathStar> <Celes> It seems other than your family's exploits there is no relations.
<Sara> <Liana> Though it does seem like my grandfather tried to 'sow his seed' in this castle more than once

<DeathStar> *The smoke seems to try to go into a wall up north*

<Sara> <Liana> Still, it's good that we aren't related, you know? Besides, I have Hapian blood in me anyway, in a sense, nowadays.

<Seraphna> **Jaime makes her way to the guest rooms, remembering Celes mumbling about them**

<Ari`> * Nicolette tries to trace the edge of the of the frame, seeing if anything moves, "...either this is just bad masonry, or possibly really cool, Nico..."
<DeathStar> *Selena nods and moves to follow* I guess the armory was to obvious*
<DeathStar> *the wall seems solid, despite the smoke going in - perhaps there's some trick to it*

<DeathStar> *Celes meets with the others* So we have checked out everywhere?
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Xanatos' sensors, when they work, says a lot of this area is old. I told him he should head on in when he lands

<Ari`> * Nicolette thinks it'd be really useful if she could TURN TO WATER. Blaaaaah.

<Ari`> * Nicolette gives up on trying to find a switch, and just follows the draft to the source, and tries to pry it open. "Um... Maybe?"
<Xanatos> 6* Bix blinks and places his hand over her knuckles
<Seraphna> **Jaime giggles and shows him how to fist bump**
<DeathStar> *Selena studies the wall and touches it, running her hand along it; upon touch the wall seems to glow a little with a ping. Nicolette would hear the ping from one of the bottles and could see it is fake.*

<Xanatos> 6* Bix fist bumps multiple times with glee.

<Xanatos> 6* Xan walks into the library after a bit, holding his datapad up and scanning things as he does.

<Xanatos> <Simon> Perhaps my search methods were flawed. I specifically sought out areas that made a draft. 6* He considers to himself.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> "Hmmm... you get gold stars for your team effort. We should summon the others."
<DeathStar> <Selena> I will go get them. Nicolette, as a prize, you can go peek in ahead of us

<DeathStar> *They arrive at the wine cellar, which ahs poor lighting; Nicolette, when she sticks her head in, would be greeted with lights turning on from spirit-tech*
<DeathStar> *there seems to be a long stairway down below, way deeper than the castle's maps indicate*
<DeathStar> *and the fall would not be pretty*
<Ari`> * Nicolette whistles, and pulls back.

<Ari`> * Nicolette lets the others get ahead of her, before following. Making sure that recognized people are going first.

<Xanatos> 6* Xan and Simon both approach the spirit tech, peer at each other, then begin to look it over.
<Xanatos> 6* Bix poses by the covered paintings, then pulls off the covers.
<Jackieness> <Sasha> *moves over and carefully opens on eof the notebooks*
<DeathStar> *the object on the wall is a sword of some sort, a very old sort, with the Hapian symbol. It shines with a light, clearly light infused, but it also looks like it might be a chain sword of some sort. Next to it is an ancient armor, the original armor that the Hapian Battle Dress Liana wears is based on, light infused as well*
<Ari`> <Nicolette> "...what type of sword is that?"

<Xanatos> <Simon> This painting has been damaged, it's my understanding that within this pact that time can only be reverse in a short interval, does that apply to items like this as well? We would like to see the face of the redheaded person.

<Xanatos> <Xan> Aska's one of the original spirits so she knows a lot and has a lot of baggage. 6* He whispers to Nicolette.

<Sara> <Liana> No doubt Ellie's Fae will someday be the Great Spirit of Wind, too.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> It might be a byproduct. This is the first time spirits have had children naturally. We should probably not mention this to Ellie
<Seraphna> Jaime> The way the Twins put it...
<Seraphna> Jaime> It sounded more like Shade had already left and because of that the mantle passed onto them.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Soren and the Shade's children were around the same age and I believe Fae is near it
<DeathStar> <Celes> ... It may be Shade had left to look into it and the mantle passed during it. And that is how they intrepreted it

<Xanatos> <Xan> As far as I know there's no easy way to do it with tech. I know that Kane looked into it and while technically possible it was never something he could crack. Cheryl was able to mess with time with her centerpoint powers, but I'm not sure if that was ACTUAL time travel or just stepping into different universes that are in a different state of time.
