However over time it was able to be removed and the two have spent more than 24 hours recovering*

<DeathStar> <Cuddles> I know Dark Ones' energy is "corruptive" but this stuff was like sludge of it

<DeathStar> <Empress> I am more asking about -- *she pokes Marcus head* What damage did to their minds or bodies. What long term effects did it do. Or hell, the two girls who ate it
<Xanatos> <Xan> Are you afraid they'll turn into Dark Ones and take over the pax?
<ChadWinters`> Only way we'll find out if to study them. 6He crosses his arms as he leans against a wall. "Safe bet, nothing good."

<Seraphna> Jennifer> Well chances are Marcus is fine, there's not much to touch up there. **She teases** Both so far nothing is very apparent.
<DeathStar> *Andrea shrugs* If you kept your mind intact without turning into a creature, then try not to recall it. I do know it's given me this back. *her tail swishes*
<DeathStar> <Cuddles> Turn them into Dark Ones? Hm. Unlikely. That stuff doesn't really do that, I think. Since it was turning people into monsters

<DeathStar> <Cuddles> Well. *she brings out a white board* Dark Ones are the opposite of Progenitors. Let's call what they are made of Dark Corruptive Energy. The more corruptive energy they get, the stronger they get. But it also effects their mind/attitude/vices, kind of like Progenitors with their own energy.
<Seraphna> **Angela stretches**I thought I recognized some of those we were dealing with down there too.
<DeathStar> <Cuddles> That stuff was like the waste of corruptive energy. The bottom of the barrell. The worst of the corruptive energy. It could give a boost. Um, what could be the equivalent to a Progenitor
<DeathStar> *Cuddle leans back and thinks*
<Jackieness> <Noire> *reaches over and presses the button for what she assumes is room service*
<DeathStar> *Erevis and the Empress look annoyed at her saying there is such a thing*
<Alicia> <Charlotte> "Everything still fine?" * Charlotte looks at 'off day' levels of bad, but whether it's just acting, who can tell?

<ChadWinters`> Then we'd do best to make sure any pure Progenitors stay away from it.
<Jackieness> <Noire> "Something to drink... like... ornage juice."
<DeathStar> *the nurse nods and moves to get a drink, then returns*
<Seraphna> **Jennifer muses** So we should be sure to warn those with Hyperspace to be careful.
<Jackieness> <Noire> *takes the drinks and drinks it down* "Mmmmm..."
<Alicia> * Jikuu glances between Erevis and the Empress, then back to Jennifer.
<ChadWinters`> Well, regardless. It seems they've found a way to condense or distill there stuff in to a more volatile form.
<DeathStar> <Erevis> Anyway, for now we should let Marcus and the others rest and return to the situation room and see how things on Maka are going
<Seraphna> **Jennifer muses** Conceptually, Progenitors might be able to do similar.
<Xanatos> 6* Marcus gives a thumbs up, drinking from a juice box.
<DeathStar> *Erevis bows and steps out. Andrea waves*
<DeathStar> *Cherry steps in wearing a nurse outfit to tend to Marcus, making Andrea deadpan*

<DeathStar> <Vesta> I feel like most of us don't do anything important and we're just here to back up the other teams
<DeathStar> <Lemon> Well, with the war going on, the Cobalts have been working to profit from it and using mercenaries. I've been trying to track it. *she folds her hands* I'm not sure which way they'll lean
<Seraphna> Tabetha> SO we have to wait and see if we give them cookies or spank them?
<DeathStar> <Isis> War is profit for groups like that
<DeathStar> *while they are talking, there is a blip on the computer, alerting them to something important and it goes to Kane's datapad*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane pauses and checks his datapad.
<DeathStar> *it looks like EarthGov's sensors picked up on an unknown vessel; they bring up the ship and it looks like a Dark One ship, though it's hard to tell. It's very small, clearly meant for inflitration, and seems to be only one ship*
<Seraphna> Tabetha> That looks very suspicious.
* ChadWinters` steps in to the room.
<Xanatos> <Kane> Suspicious is certainly the word I would use as well.
<DeathStar> *Lemon leans over* Can you see where it might be landing?
<Sara> * Christina glances over
<Xanatos> 6* Kane nods and begins to calculate the trajectory.
<DeathStar> *Kane manages to get it easily due to good luck and it looks like the ship has landed near Cran's military base that he gained in the last few months*
<ChadWinters`> Seem's like quite the choice for a place to land.
<Xanatos> <Kane> Cran's new military base.
<DeathStar> <Vesta> Very interesting. He is in league with them
<ChadWinters`> Or it's something he's been working on.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> Or whoever has it is with him.
<Xanatos> <Kane> We cannot say for certain until we investigate.
<DeathStar> *Vesta sighs* You take all the fun out of it
<Seraphna> *Tabetha nods*
<DeathStar> *Lemon rises* Alright, let's go check it out. Just becareful - anything involving Dark Ones and Alexander Cran is not a good mix. I'll send a message to the PAX to let them know about the situation
<Seraphna> Tabetha> Maybe they're even trying to kidnap him or convert him.
<DeathStar> *Isis finishes her tea* Scary thought
<Seraphna> Tabetha> Well let's get ready. Thankfully he keeps a Progenitor bodyguard.

<Xanatos> 6* Kane rises and moves to gather his supplies.
* ChadWinters` moves to grab his stuff.

<DeathStar> *Lemon soon brings them over to a brand new vehicle that Cheryl got them - the latest vehicle. It has on the side with a Mew and a Tiger and looks like it can both drive and fly. Lemon and Vesta walk up the ramp with Isis getting on the computers*
<DeathStar> *the back of the vehicle having comfortable seating and the front having areas with Spirit Tech and normal Earth componets as well as Progenitor Tech*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane pauses and tilts his head then continues up the ramp and finds a seat.
<DeathStar> <Lemon> It took them a while to finish this
<Seraphna> **Tabetha gets in and Reese quietly sits up from a nap**
* ChadWinters` walks up the ramp and tosses his back pack in a seat as he sits next to it
<Seraphna> Reese> Vehicle's all set.
<DeathStar> *there seems to be an area for a Spirit, though they lack one, to power the vehicle*
<DeathStar> *Lemon nods and takes her seat, getting comfortable*
<DeathStar> <Vesta> *opens a soda and takes a swig*
<DeathStar> <VestA> Alright. *she powers up the ship and flies them out, looking all serious like Ariel and Darien*
<Xanatos> <Kane> Do we know if the reploid units relocated to Cran's new base?
<DeathStar> <Vesta> We are approaching the area. *she flips some areas; strangely while flying she seems to act more like Ariel when flying*
<DeathStar> <Lemon> It seems they have been, though they are in a part of the base to do their own thing like before
<DeathStar> <Lemon> Probably on hand to help out if needed
<Seraphna> Reese> Cole an' Blue tend to look after them now.
<Seraphna> Reese> Plus apparently Bennet visits there a lot.
<ChadWinters`> Question is, if it's one of his pet projects, will he even tell us or are we going to have to get on his bad side again?
<Seraphna> Tabetha> We only need to know it's safe, really.
<DeathStar> <Lemon> What could he even do these days. Dragoons, World Domination, Clones, Reploids - what's left?
<Seraphna> Tabetha> The ultimate sports utility shuttle?
<ChadWinters`> Hybridization of Dark One tech with Reploids.
<DeathStar> *Vesta turns to look at Chad*
<DeathStar> <Vesta> *then peers at Kane* Are you sure he's not the true final boss?
<Seraphna> Reese> If it was that there's no way we'd be allowed to know. The Suisen would be up Earth's ass in seconds.
<Xanatos> <Kane> Sometimes I ponder that possibility.
<ChadWinters`> Not entirely true, they let Dark One's roam free as long as they don't pose a threat.
<DeathStar> *the shuttle flies over the spot Kane predicted the landing, but the Dark One ship is not seen - perhaps it cloaked. The area is very shadowy*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane tilts his head and begins to calibrate sensors trying to scan various cloak technologies that they know about.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> No alarms ringing... **She muses and gives the area a light psionic scan, full stealth**
<DeathStar> *the area seems to be an area of town near the military bases, just on the outskirt, with warehouses, buildings, tall ones, and more. It could have landed anywhere among them. The scan sensors do not pick up on anything*
<ChadWinters`> If we found it, odds are Cran found it and since there's no search party here. Leans more towards it being his.
<DeathStar> *the military base being about another few miles away*
<Seraphna> Tabetha> The ships themselves are organisms right?
<Xanatos> <Kane> Shall we contact Cran?
<DeathStar> <Lemon> They are
<ChadWinters`> Wouldn't hurt to do a thorough scan first and then let him know.
<Xanatos> <Kane> I am currently doing that. But no results.
<DeathStar> <Lemon> We probably should
<ChadWinters`> Care if I take a look?
<DeathStar> *Vesta opens the ramp* Go ahead
* ChadWinters` moves to the end of the ramp, his eyes going grey as he looks around the area that they last pinged the ship. His eyes looking for any roughed up ground or something off.
<Seraphna> **Reese prepares the comm channel meanwhile** Who wants to talk to him?
<DeathStar> *he finds none of that. However while Chad is looking, Kane's sensors does pick up a brief spike of technology in one of the buildings nearby before it vanishes*
<DeathStar> *Lemon sighs and takes the comm, talking to Cran. She begins to work her way through the channels to reach him*
<ChadWinters`> If the ship landed here and dug down, I'm not seeing any signs of disturbed earth or a seem for a opening.
<Xanatos> <Kane> I saw something brief. In that building there. 6* He points it out, trying to get some sort of other reading on it.
<DeathStar> *Vesta glances vanishes into the shadows*
<DeathStar> *her flame appearing in the building over there*
<ChadWinters`> Guess we're moving for that building.
* ChadWinters` unholsters Ebony as he eyes go back to their normal color.
<DeathStar> *Lemon is heard talking to Cran about why are there and it seems Cran picked up nothing, probably since his military base isn't as advanced as Lemon's, and tells them the situation. Lemon motions someone to fly the shuttle, since Vesta left them on hovermode*
<Seraphna> **Tabetha sighs and turns her focus to the future before leaping out and heading after her**
<Seraphna> **Reese pilots the shuttle**
<DeathStar> *Suddenly, Vesta and Tabetha smash through the side of the building, with Tabetha barely catching herself from a fatal fall. Venerator Intelligence standing there, powered up with Dark Energy, the Dark One who gave it to him no where to be seen. V,I looks around and peers at the shuttle approaching and grabs Tabetha and tosses her at the shuttle window before fading back into the building*
<ChadWinters`> Vesta always this gung-ho? 6He glances back at the others as he hangs on at the ramp.
<DeathStar> *Vesta forms wings as she falls and floats before hitting the ground at full speed, managing to make it a non-fatal fall*
<Xanatos> 6* Kane walks to the ramp and opens up his case to begin assembling the sniper rifle that he uses.
<Seraphna> **Tabetha shifts herself so she rolls as Reese, caught up in a sudden Battlemind with her, angles the shuttle to catch her**
<Seraphna> Reese> MIght wanna warn him we've got company here.
* ChadWinters` grabs on to tightly as the shuttle abruptly jerks to do that. He grabs on to Kane with his other hand
<DeathStar> <Lemon> *sighs and jerks inside, telling Cran*
<ChadWinters`> Warning next time.
<Xanatos> 6* Kane strains to hold himself right, nodding to Chad for help and then clips one of the safety lines to his suit.
<Seraphna> **Reese mumbles about telepaths**
<Seraphna> **Tabetha clings to the top, then works her way around the shuttle and back to the ramp as Reese tuirns and gets the shuttle lower so people can go help**
<DeathStar> *Vesta shakes herself off and peers up as Venerator moves to grab a piece of the building wall and rips it free, moving to throw it at the shuttle*
<DeathStar> <Lemon> Incoming concrete
<Seraphna> **Tabetha nods and uses GOddess TK to catch it and hurl it back**
* ChadWinters` hands Kane an Idlet. "Use it to feed you it's position from me so you can snipe him. 6He runs off the ramp and on to the ground, wincing slightly as he pushes himself up
<Seraphna> **Reese mutters more and gives the shuttle door better shielding**
<DeathStar> *the object is caught and slows down in mid-air. Venerator pauses and aims his hand, forming a gun and fires as it begins to come back, shattering*
<DeathStar> *Sending pieces flying*
<Seraphna> **Tabetha leaps back down after Chad and forms her guns, moving with him**
<Xanatos> 6* Kane connects to t he idlet and tosses it out to fly down and feed him positioning info. He aims the sniper and waits for it to charge before firing at the Venerator
<DeathStar> *Venerator pauses and turns to eye Kane, his right eye glowing when he is hit, sending his body flying back and inside the building*
<DeathStar> <Lemon> Good job honey
* ChadWinters` moves towards the building, slowing down once the VenI goes back inside the building.
<DeathStar> *Vesta floats up to hole that was made and peers inside*
<Xanatos> <Kane> I didn't intend such kickback...I'll have to make some adjustment afterwards.
<DeathStar> *looking in cautiously*
<DeathStar> <Lemon> He might have intended it
<DeathStar> *Lemon uses the shuttle to shine a light inside*
<Xanatos> <Kane> That was my thinking too.
<Seraphna> **Tabetha sets her future vision on again and keeps her guns aimed**
<Seraphna> **Reese readies the shuttle weapons**
* ChadWinters` motions for Tabetha to take point as he raises his gun.
<Seraphna> Reese> Vesta clear? I could just take the thing apart.
<DeathStar> *future vision is cloudy, but she gets a bad idea of going inside*
<Seraphna> **Tabetha raises a hand to halt**
<DeathStar> <Vesta> Alright it looks clear. Going in
<DeathStar> *Vesta pauses*
<Seraphna> **Tabetha shakes her head** Bad idea.
<DeathStar> <Vesta> *floats* So...?
<Seraphna> Tabetha> No specifics, but this is a trap.
<ChadWinters`> Any risk in firing in from the outside?
<DeathStar> <Lemon> Hm. What do you think, honey?
<Seraphna> **Tabetha takes aim and readies to fire with her vision going**
<Xanatos> <Kane> One moment. 6* He sends the Idlet inside, watching his feed.
<DeathStar> *Idlet flies in, all innocent and Iddy. It looks clear and as they go in, suddenly sensor goes off as it detects someone inside. The building detonates and in collapses in on itself*
<DeathStar> *Vesta winces*
<Seraphna> Tabetha> Trap.
<Seraphna> Tabetha> There was a pit in there... he may be digging.
<DeathStar> <Lemon> That or he jumped bodies.
<DeathStar> <Lemon> But since he upgraded with the Dark One, he might have dug like you siad
<Seraphna> Tabetha> Very true.
<ChadWinters`> Either way we can't follow easily.
<ChadWinters`> How far down was it?
<DeathStar> <Lemon> So try to find him or meet with Cran?
<Seraphna> **Reese sends Cran a message to watch seismic activity and lower levels just in case**
<Xanatos> 6* Kane scans for any non-human signs of life to see if it went down or fled the area.
<Seraphna> Reese> He's either after Cran or was just fuckin' with us, so we'd benefit going to Cran.
<DeathStar> *it's definitely not in the area. So if it survived, it's either deeper below or fled*
<ChadWinters`> Except now we know he's upgraded his body. So the element of suprise is gone.
<Seraphna> Reese> Easier for me to twist luck if we're close to the target anyway.
<DeathStar> *Lemon thinks* Alright, lets go to Cran
<Seraphna> **Tabetha sighs and heads back to the shuttle, looking at Chad** Need a boost?
<Xanatos> 6* Kane collapses the rifle places it back in the case.

<DeathStar> *Vesta flies up to it*
<Seraphna> **Tabetha gives him a TK boost up to the shuttle then heads after him**

<DeathStar> *Erica has had her group, joined be Nicolette and maybe Sparkling, onto the planet to find the Dark One who has come down. The Makas themselves found the ship easily with their magical girl power and took care of it, but the Dark One has so far been elusive.*
<Jackieness> <Airym> *remains on the Aquarius, operating sensors and acting as mission control*
<Sara> * Erica rubs her head, feeling a headache coming on from this situation
<DeathStar> *Cheryl also stays behind since Sabrina has joined Erica, letting them stay at her place since they are looking for a Dark One*
<DeathStar> *Adeline studies cute outfits of the Maka world, tilting her head*
<DeathStar> <Yuki> So any idea what a Dark One might want on this planet?
<Seraphna> **Jaime has made her own Maka like outfit out of her mud clothes**
<Jackieness> <Airym> *comm* "Captain, I am diverting some of the Aquarius' sensors to filter out biosignatures on the planet to try to narrow down the location of the Dakr One."
<Seraphna> Jaime> I'd expect... corrupting Maka?
<ChadWinters`> <Id> A Makai or one of those beasts they seem to fight constantly that have power cores inside them.
<Ariel> <Nicolette> "I think we might have caught their attention."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> Can you even get a Makai to help you?
<DeathStar> *Sabrina thinks on that*
<Sara> <Erica> I'm not so sure we could trust one of... that ilk, even if we wanted to. Dangerous.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Mr. Winters got Makai to work with him.
<DeathStar> <Sabrina> That one is weird
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Zayne was here name I believe.
<Sara> <Erica> That's like pointing out that a mob boss has a mob.
<Seraphna> Jaime> Clearly he has evil hypnosis powrs.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> He just leveraged the proper information.
<DeathStar> *Sabrina peers at Nicolette* I think we're all in agreement that Zayne should not be held to the standard of other Makai.
<Xanatos> <Pepper> Doesn't Zayne just have some weird like, honor code or something? That'd be easily manipulatable.
<Sara> <Erica> Anyhow, we don't seem to be making progress so far...
<Seraphna> Cookie> Mmm, what would I do for cookies...

<ChadWinters`> <Id> Could we not use a group of the Maka to act like diving rods to help locate them?
<DeathStar> *Yuki thinks* The Dark Ones fear the Maka. And it's clear it's here for something. Either to find a Makai or corrupt a Maka

<Alicia> <Sparkling> "I'd say 'or corrupt a Makai' but Zayne wasn't here until recently anyway."
<DeathStar> <Yuki> So which route is best to find it
<Sara> <Erica> Aren't those... Makai people, already corrupt?
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Hmmm. I imagine it would be easier to take an "older" Maka since it would be getting close to wanting to hold on to it's powers and from there it would be easier to corrupt in to a Makai.
<DeathStar> *Airym somehow hit 2 out of 12 and gets the Dark One's general area*
<Jackieness> <Airym> *comm* "Captian, I have narrowed the target's general location."
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Pretty much, so it wouldn't take a big push.." *looks to Id as if to complain, but doesn't actually say anything*
<Jackieness> <Airym> *sends them a sector to narrow their search*
<DeathStar> *Sabrina studies the area* I know this area!
<Sara> <Erica> Lemme take a look, Airym. *she glances it over*

<DeathStar> *it looks to be an area where there isn't a ton of Makas to stop the Dark One (basically converge on him) but has enough for them to study them*
<DeathStar> <Adeline> I feel like he's preying on young girls
<Sara> <Erica> Pff, reminds me of old animal study tactics or something...
<Seraphna> Jaime> So he’s trying to learn things?
<ChadWinters`> <Id> There is a strategy behind it.

<Sara> <Erica> I don't like the idea that they'd treat one so lowly like an animal, though I'd still expect it. We should stop it before it gets a chance to do something awful like that.

The last year she feels like she is a failure as a Maka and that she doesn't deserve the power - and essentially stopped using her powers. Feels like even her dolls hate her.

<Seraphna> **Thena forms a shield of crystal and hyperspace around the girl trying to halt it**

<Alicia> * SParkling forms a magic shield to protect herself and Thena
<Xanatos> 6* Pepper tendrils never did anything I suppose so she pulls her arms back and begins to sing a sombre song,, using her amplifier to try and put the girl to sleep.

<DeathStar> *The girl eyes them with a dead eyed stare and tries to form magic to swallow them up; she doesn't form any silly things like some MAkai, perhaps due to the Dark One, but is forming magic to try to wipe them out*
<DeathStar> *the Dark One, seeing Pepper and Jaime are stunting his escape, busts out and goes on the offensive with Jaime, forming sharp Tendrils to stab at her*
<Seraphna> **Cookie attacks her mind outright and tries to KO her**

<Seraphna> **Jaime glows all over with Hyperspace as she twists from the Tendrils and tries to burn some**

<Alicia> * Hotaru, on noticing the Dark One, summons her scythes and moves forward to attack. "I'm not the best at non-lethal takedowns, but I know the others can handle that and... I don't have to worry about that with you."
<DeathStar> *Yuki watches as the girl slumps a bit from the mind attack, as if she is about to go KOed, while Ben rushes in with a gun and fires at the Dark One, who is losing tendrils. He forms a fist and punches Jaime*
<Seraphna> **Jaime grunts and her red hot earthen clothing solidifies as she takes damage, but her tries to grab his fist and channel hyperspace directly into him**

<DeathStar> *the Dark One burns as he is grabbed and channels corruptive dark energy back, aiming to corruptive her hyperspace* (one moment on the roll)
