<DeathStar> 6* A few more weeks have passed and the weather has begun to get a little cooler; since the event by the festival and the meeting with the Order of the Spirits, the team has tied themselves somewhat to the Spirits it seems. Liana, still being the head of the household, continues to meet with the nobles and the various meetings the city has, learning things behind the scenes that only she is privy too and what information she chooses to share with the others. Otherwise, so far the team has not found any parts for the portal they have been looking for and things have been quiet. The city seems to be preparing for a hard winter and things have slowed down

<Sara> <Ellie> Winters are unpredictable anyway, so we... just have to expect the worst

<Xanatos> 6* Bix has been around more since the growing season is basically finished for now. All of his extra shares of the money went back to the workers to cover what extra they would need during this time. Currently he's sitting in a chair messing with a piece of wood, seems they showed him how to wittle.
<DeathStar> *Gwen glances at the map of Geyze, studying it all* I wonder if I have time to explore more of it before winter hits

<DeathStar> *standing at the door is a frail looking servant, wearing a cloak over her shoulders for warmth and playing with brown hair. She jerks as Lana says it that way, peering up at her and bows her head*

<DeathStar> *Neekito mutters that it was rough until she seasoned it*
<DeathStar> *the servant nods and walks in, adjusting her cloak; her face and head mostly hidden outside some of her long brown hair peeking out from the edges and her violet eyes darts about as she steps into the front area to welcome guests. She scurries to the corner and waits*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *walks back into the main room* "Ahem! A caller for Lady Liana!"
<Sara> * Liana comes out into the room, rubbing her eyes and looking a bit tired
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...is this a bad time?"
<DeathStar> *The servant bows to Liana, worriedly*
<Sara> <Liana> Is something the matter?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "You have a caller." *gestures to the servant*
<Sara> * Liana looks over
<DeathStar> <Servant> Ah, um. *she lifts her head up, studying Liana and holding her arm with her hand as her eyes peer about except at Liana* My Master, Sir Mal'oy, wished to know call upon your servants that agreed to aid city the other day. Some of them pledged their services I believe.
<Sara> <Liana> Sir... Mal'oy. *she thinks to herself how uncomfortably familiar that sounds* Did you know what kind of work he has in mind?
<Sara> *Do you know
<DeathStar> *the servant nods* They will be working with the Spirits and the Ancients to deal with a problem, that is all I know. *she pauses, as if she forgot, and reaches into her cloak, handing some coins* H-Here you go

<Seraphna> Alita> Interesting... well if we can be of some use.
<DeathStar> *her violet eyes dart about, perhaps hearing the words in the other room*
<Sara> <Liana> I'll see to it then. *she takes the coins graciously, but sets aside a couple of them and hands those back to the servant* For your troubles.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Hmmm. They were not lieing about being more active here it would seem. But for the Ancients to be involved. I wonder what that would entail.
<DeathStar> *The servant blinks, staring at her hands with the coins as if not sure what to make of it; Neekito meanwhile seems soured at the name of the nobleman*

<DeathStar> <Gwen> *nods to Liana* I can't imagine what they'd want from us. Other than Talia and Alita, who pacted with the spirits of this era. And that will certainly won't bite us in the ass

<Jackieness> <Lana> "A moment please." *goes back into the main room* "The girl is sitting in the cold all alone for her ride."

<Sara> * Liana nods and hands the scarf to Lana. "I'm hoping everyone will hurry on their way, I know it's hard to simply change the mentality of the people or prevent mistreatment like this..."

<Jackieness> <Lana> *carries the scarf with her back to the girl*

<Sara> <Liana> So anyway, the servant girl is waiting out there in the cold, so can we get a move on?

<DeathStar> *The girl peers up*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> Yeah, lets go. *Neekito nods* Are you up to this, Liana? Ellie?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "To help keep warm." *holds out the scarf*
<Sara> <Ellie> I'm up for it... I'm sure Liana is 'just supervising' though...
<Xanatos> 6* Bix sets aside the Talia sculpture, still needing lots of work, he hops up and gives a big stretch
<DeathStar> *The girl pauses, and adds the scarf to herself, soon buddled up. Gwen leaves a device by Ceilidh's door*
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I bought this for her. Hopefully it helps out
<Seraphna> **Alita gathers her things and moves to join the others. Talia trots by Gwen**

<DeathStar> *the girl hops up as they step out*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon steps outside and takes in a deep breath, smiling a bit to himself as he prefers the cold.
<Xanatos> <Simon> Hello Madam. 6* He bows his head to the servant.
<DeathStar> *she bows, only her violet eyes visible with her scarfs all covering her. Gwen recoils at the sight*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well, let's be off then."
<Seraphna> Alita> Indeed.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon makes a mental note of her unique eyes. Bix meanwhile cheerfully waves at her and begins to hum to himself as they walk along.
<DeathStar> *she nods, leading them along the streets of the city, moving near the palace, but going easy. It takes a good long walk as they go, but if you peer at the map they soon end up to an area north east beside the palace. Neekito and the servant girl looking tiredish after the long walk*
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Simon, do her eyes seem unique compared to what you've come across? *He whispers to him
<Xanatos> 6* Simon thinks on that, letting the GM answer.
<Seraphna> **Alita muses** Not common among humans I would think, very unique.
<DeathStar> *however they soon find a group of people present, nobles - surprisingly, servants, normal citizens it appears, and few people wearing normal clothing but having little devices on them. Oh and Gale, Pyro, and Gaia*
<DeathStar> *Neekito touches her eyes, which are purple*

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well, naturally, they only occur in cases of albinism."

<Sara> * Ellie gives a confused shrug
<Sara> <Ellie> I don't think I have... whatever that is
<DeathStar> *Pyro blinks, but slowly mimics it.*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...though certain shades of blue can look violet, though an examinatio of the pigmentation will show is not violet at all."
<Xanatos> 6* Simon bows his head in response to the people they have come to meet, instead of standing around like a bunch of weirdos talking about eyes.

<Seraphna> **Alita joins him, even though Talia was clearly the first person to do the cool thing**
<DeathStar> *The serving girl approaches and Mal'oy looks annoyed* You're late, Sophia. Do not make me deduct points. Your family is already disappointed in your performance. *The girl winces*

<Sara> <Liana> The amount of time it takes for her to return is dependent on the time it takes the ones you sent for to prepare, correct? *she states, stepping ahead in front of her 'servants'*
<DeathStar> *Mal'oy eyes Liana* Ah yes, Liana Hapian. You're the talk of the town. *he bows, and the other nobles smile, having been meeting her for a while now*
<Sara> <Liana> No doubt. Sir Mal'oy, I presume? You wanted the help of my servants, correct? *she eyes him, curious about him*
<DeathStar> <Gale> Yes! *she waves her hands* We thought it was time for our first big project working together and seeing how it goes. *Mal'oy turns to the Spirit; who behind her one of those strange Ancient Angel beings trods forward. It seems even larger in person without it swooping in, and looks more mechanical than a person*
<DeathStar> *at a glance it looks to be made of - possibly - spirit tech and something else*
<ChadWinters`> 6Id studies it from his vantage point, curious on it's design
<Jackieness> <Lana> *watches the Ancient as well*
<Sara> * Ellie peers at Gale, paying less mind to the Ancient than perhaps she should be
<Xanatos> 6* Simon wants so badly to use some spells to isolate it's power source but knows it'll probably set off some alarm and cause trouble so he sadly looks at it with his boring normal eyes.
<DeathStar> *Gale smiles at Ellie and waves*
<Sara> * Liana curtseys to the Ancient, while responding to Gale, "Then you will have the assistance you requested, naturally."
<DeathStar> <Gale> So, we've been told there's a strange group of creatures in the woods in that direction. *she points* They're not natural to Geyze. Here is what one of them looks like. *the Ancient materializes a cage with a monster in it*
<Sara> * Liana leans in, peering at it
<DeathStar> *the monster looks like some sort of beast type, spewing dark energy from it's mouth and leaping at Liana as if trying to attack her*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Wow... nasty thing."
<Sara> * Liana furrows her brow, unimpressed
<Sara> <Liana> Any leads on where they -did- come from?
<Jackieness> <Lana> *then slides over to Simon and whispers* "Seem familiar to you?"
<DeathStar> <Pyro> Aska has gone ahead and trying to locate where they came from, but if left alone, they could take over this planet and destroy it. So we're going to wipe them out. So... We'll be dividing into groups. *the nobles begin to break up into groups; Mal'oy moves off with his servants and those with the strange marks move off, typically one with each noble, or sometimes alone*
<DeathStar> <Gaia> They just appeared in the forest one day I think. The Ancients have theories
<DeathStar> *she smiles using the term Ancients for some reason*
<Xanatos> 6* Simon regards it with an arched brow and glances to Lana with a slight nod.
<DeathStar> *The Ancient vanishes the monster - who knows how many they have captured already*
<ChadWinters`> <Id> I would need to scan it to confirm but, yes. I do not want to risk contacting her to find out though. 6Id whispers back to Lana

<Jackieness> <Lana> "Mmmm-hmmm."
<Sara> <Liana> Well, we're good at stuff like this, so... yeah, we'll do what we can.
<Xanatos> 6* Simon glances at the splitting off and glances to his group.
<DeathStar> *Pyro nods* If you need to summon me for help, just call out to me. <Gale> *to Ellie* Will you be okay? Do you need a pact?
<Xanatos> <Simon> So we are just moving to the forest and going from there?
<DeathStar> *Neekito glances at those with little badges on their clothes* What do you think that means?
<DeathStar> <Gale> Yes, and destroying any of these creatures.
<Seraphna> **Talia nods to Pyro and paws**
<Xanatos> 6* Simon nods and turns to walk off so they can get some distance and discuss this all more freely.
<Sara> <Ellie> I can do it if you want to. I just... *she pauses, realizing how it could give away that something's odd if she -didn't- accept such an offer now* Fine.
<DeathStar> *Gale blinks* Hm? *she hesitates and reaches out her hand*
<Sara> * Ellie holds out her hand
<DeathStar> *Gale takes it and initites the pact; if it works, will be if Ellie truly wants it*
<Jackieness> <Lana> *follows after Simon*
<ChadWinters`> 6Id waits a bit. 1"I am concernde that Autumn maybe losing control of her monsters. I would like to also know what the Ancients theories are of them though. Also, having seen one up close. There is much about them that seem's familiar.
<Jackieness> <Lana> A"Ctually... see how it was foaming darkness out of its mouth?"
<Sara> <Ellie> Like it just had a bad coffee!

<DeathStar> *Gale tilts head* Caf-fee?
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Interesting, though. I would like to talk to Autumn after this.
<Sara> <Ellie> It's a kind of drink made from beans. *she shrugs*
<DeathStar> *Gale nods* I need to go. *flutters off* Good luck! *she joins the others, peering back once, then ahead*

<Xanatos> <Simon> Do we think the ancients being around might jeopardize contact with Autumn? Otherwise they might be caught unawares.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I mean... it reminded me of the tress bleeding dark sap when they were cut on the island where we found the portal cave."
<DeathStar> <Neekito> *peers at Ellie* Are yo okay?
<ChadWinters`> <Id> I am concerned that if I make any attempt to comm them, the Ancient close by will be alerted instantly.
<Xanatos> <Simon> It was like that island...you're right. 6* He says with realization.
<Sara> <Ellie> I'm all right, Neekito...
<DeathStar> *One of the people with the badges on steps forward; he studies them* Do you have a way to the forest?
<Xanatos> <BIX> I have a way! 6* He wiggles his feet.
<Sara> <Liana> Did you have a suggestion?
<Jackieness> <Lana> *opens her mouth to say something then stops as they are approached*
<DeathStar> *he blinks at Bix* You do?
<Jackieness> <Lana> "He says he plans to walk..."

<DeathStar> <Man> Well, I was going to offer to test my magic and try to magic you there

<DeathStar> <Man> It might be? *he muses* The Ancients told me that it's my talent to tap into magics that let me shift people from one location to another

<Sara> * Ellie makes a face
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...you're not going to send us to the forest by setting us on fire, are you?"
<DeathStar> <Neekito> I am somewhat dubious
<DeathStar> <Man> What? No. No
<DeathStar> *Gwen peers at Liana and Simon for the verdict*
<Xanatos> <Simon> I find that fire burns me and I am not too fond of that. But I will go if Liana deems it.
<Seraphna> Talia> Why we not just ask a Spirit to take us?
<DeathStar> *the man slumps* No one ever trusts me
<Sara> <Liana> I'm sorry, I think we'll find our own way. *she says to the man* Thank you. *she gives him some coins for his trouble*
<DeathStar> *the man takes the coins* Thank you. *He moves off to anotehr group that looks like they need help*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Ah... might have been interesting to see this teleport ritual though..."
<ChadWinters`> <Id> It is curious that he had a badge on.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "It may designate the Ancient's magister agents."
<Xanatos> <Simon> Tch, we should've asked about the badge. But yes a logical assumption is some sort of agent or underling of the ancients.

<Jackieness> <Lana> "I wouldn't be surprised if Celes gets one when she graduates."
<ChadWinters`> <Id> I wonder if it has a tracking component to it.
<DeathStar> *Gale warps a Mal'oy's group away, Sophia looking pale at the prospect of going into this*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Could be... any attempt to tamper or probe it could alert them though."
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I wonder why he's taking his servant into the forest. To carry his bags?
<Xanatos> <Simon> So what shallw e do?
<Sara> <Ellie> Really hope that servant girl will be all right

<ChadWinters`> <Id> Why would a Noble dirty their hands when they have a servant to do it for them?

<DeathStar> *Neekito nods and holds out her hand, the team then appears in the middle of the forest. As they appear, Id beeps as someone contacts him*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "Well... did Autumn uncover something nasty in the woods that is with us to the present... errr... future? Or is there presence the cause of the darkness? Has she done somehting naughty?"
<DeathStar> *Neekito rests against the tree, looking tired*
<Xanatos> <Simon> Thank Neekito. Your mode of transport is nice. How can we help you feel less tired?

<Xanatos> 6* Simon kneels and begins to form mana around his hands, offering it out to Neekito.
<DeathStar> *there is two Ancient temples, and they are shooting beams into the forests, not caring swaths of trees are being vaporized, to kill the monsters. This might be why the Great Forest is smaller in the present*
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...uhhh...guys?"
<DeathStar> *Neekito takes it, nodding her head, and pets Talia and leans against Ellie*
<Seraphna> **Talia mewls** Hey those trees are pretty!
<Sara> <Liana> ...They have a very brutal way of handling things they don't agree with it seems
<ChadWinters`> 6Id drops back down suddenly opening the comm for everyone to hear, replaying what Autumn sent. 1"It would appear the Ancients are going scorched earth."
<Jackieness> <Lana> "When I was in school, we did this whole particle arc thing... I totally hear that sound right now."
<Seraphna> Alita> Indeed, I'm beginning to see why a War will spark.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "What do we do?"
<Jackieness> <Lana> "...for that matter, why ask for our help when they were just going to go all orbital bombardment?!"
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Autumn, can you explain to us why one of your monsters appears to have gone feral?
<ChadWinters`> <Id> I imagine to test us and the Spirits.
<Xanatos> <Simon> We are here to stop the stragglers.
<DeathStar> <Autumn> If it went feral it's because they took them away from me and did experiments on it, pissing it off. I'm not sure it went full corrupted
<Sara> <Liana> Autumn is not exactly an ally to us, if the monsters are an issue the monsters are an issue. However, it would be better if the forest didn't get destroyed in the process. Do you think perhaps that if we take them out sooner we can minimize the destruction?
<DeathStar> <Autumn> Anyway, here's what I want
<Xanatos> <Simon> Them being...the monsters?
<DeathStar> <Autumn> I want to get my monsters and myself to the Dark Lands. I got you know what mostly completed, but if it gets destroyed, well -- we'll both be screwed
<DeathStar> *she seems to be talking to Id*
<DeathStar> *she sends something to Id*
<Seraphna> **Alita blinks** Well, this is making more and more sense... should we ask Shade next to help?>
<Xanatos> <Simon> Yes.
<Xanatos> <Simon> The monsters have to survive or the Daemons will never become.
<ChadWinters`> <Id> Indeed. I have a possible option Autumn. But it would require a sacrifice of sorts. If you allow them to destroy some of the monsters, you will be able to escape if you go along a tunnel system.
<Sara> <Liana> Of course the monsters... it's not as if we can stop those... dreadnaughts they call temples
<Sara> <Liana> And at the moment we'd risk our standing to do so, which we probably can't afford
<DeathStar> <Autumn> And what sort of tunnel system is there?
<Seraphna> Alita> I really should have pacted with Shade...
<ChadWinters`> <Id> The temples I maybe able to draw away but it would also require me to risk my current shell and if I get caught, anything that may come from that.
<Jackieness> <Lana> "I was totally hanging out with Shade."
<DeathStar> *as they talk, Gale, Pyro, and Gaia appears in the air. Gaia vanishes as she lands on the ground to do something, perhaps to help save tree, and Pyro flies off to burn monsters in the forest. Gale looks around, frowning at the scene*
<Xanatos> <Simon> If we attempt to wipe out the monsters before them it would also reveal ourselves to have greather strength. I can call Chronos and see if she can bring Shade to us.
<DeathStar> <Autumn> Hm. I see
<Xanatos> <Simon> Liana, thoughts?
<DeathStar> <Gwen> I can throw stuff in the air at the temples

Many of us have spent our whole lives in this communion but it has been a revaltion of creativity to suddenly be allowed boons from those we admire so dearly. 6* he explains to Mal'oy casually while the fighting happens.
