<Seraphna> Angela> Seems like strong confirmation that they got the soul engines running. If you consider what they suddenly gained was the dead.

<ChadWinters`> Those with Dark One powers would probably work the best to sniff it out. Also, I believe there's a lot of untapped resources who are capable of either defending or searching that we haven't been using.

<Seraphna> **Luci pats Max who she has moving boxes around** We tend to not willingly make a bond with a bad person. This guy right here is a big ol' kitten.

<Seraphna> Lucy> Well there is a bunch of new monster meats I'm experimenting with.

<Seraphna> **Luci snaps a finger at Max** Get to it handsome.
<DeathStar> *Asarar turns on the news about Kumen and spit takes as it talks about Ymir's father being back and staking his claim back on Ymir's company*
<DeathStar> *Max begins to pick it up and Selena, dragging her away*
<Seraphna> Luci> And put her in a comfy bed you dork.

<Jackieness> <Kira> "...he's not supposed to be."
<DeathStar> <Asarar> We killed him pretty good. *she clenches her fist, twitching*

<Seraphna> **Jaime pops in, looking about, then a the news** Isn't he dead?
<Xanatos> <Logan> I'll see if I can get in contact with Ymir. 6* He tries to get in contact with her on his datapad.
<DeathStar> *a male voice answers* Yes? Who is this?
<Seraphna> **Jaime frowns, listening quietly for a moment as the entire situation is obvious to her already**
<Xanatos> <Logan> Who is this?
<Jackieness> <Kira> *looks at Asarar, nods to the phone, then draws her figners over her throat in the universal 'kill' gesture*
<DeathStar> <Voice> I am Maxwell Terran, the owner of the Macross Corporation. I am here with my daughter right now. Are you one of her friends. She will get back to you after our meeting
<DeathStar> *Asarar nods and a moment or two later the doors slam open* <Cypher> Did you see what I see?
<Xanatos> <Logan> Alright tell her to call Babs back. 6* He hands up.
<Seraphna> **Jaime starts quietly tapping on her datapad, informing Warren that there's a dead man trying to seize a powerful company on Kumen... which also confirms that Geyze and Kumen are touched by the Spirit Engine**
<Xanatos> <Logan> Well that was some controlling bullshit. We going to do something about this?
<Seraphna> Jaime> Mmm, definitely primal and not very clever...
<Seraphna> Jaime> I mean, I can go put a hyperspace fist through his chest to test for Dark One. You saw the body right?

<DeathStar> <Asarar> I'm pretty sure we threw it off a building
<DeathStar> *she looks to Kira*
<Seraphna> Jaime> Pretty strong reasoning... even if that's not something I'd be terrified of, humans tend to be.

<Xanatos> <Logan> I know this was before my time but Ymir's a bud so I'm pretty on board with whatever we can do to make sure she's okay.
<Seraphna> Jaime> We have ways of determining Dark Ones. I've also let our top guy on it know.

<DeathStar> <Asarar> And try to detect if he is a Dark One. But do we have any detectors?

<Seraphna> Luci> I'd think stopping a Dark One from taking the largest corporation on Kumen is a pretty necessary move.

<DeathStar> *Cypher cranks up the Mew Mew Ship, and the cat like ship takes off for Kumen; as the arrive at the space port on Quadrant 1 on Kumen, the space port for the Macross quadrant is closed*

<Seraphna> Luci> A feat not accomplished since Liana's Dad got drunk one night and fought the moon here.

<DeathStar> *Cypher asks what the reason is for the space port closure and they claim that there is a spill of sports, directing them to another quadrant*

<DeathStar> *Cypher arrives at the 6th quadrant, which hasn't been shut down to some strange disaster yet and lands*
<DeathStar> *the quadrant, once home to the Net and other materials, seems to be changing to adapt to a life without the Net, adopting the HoloNet and other tech*
<Seraphna> **Luci muses, then opens a comms channel to Jaime's comm so she can locate them**
<DeathStar> *Asarar steps out int othe Tech Corporation quadrant, though since Ymir owns so many of the Corps now, many just call them Macross*
<Seraphna> Luci> No idea how that woman seems to always know where to appear but let's not leave it to chance.
<DeathStar> <Cypher> So what are the chances Ymir and her "Father" are at the main Macross HQ?

<Xanatos> 6* Logan opens his coat and pulls the unactivated beam axe handle out.
<DeathStar> *the men don't speak, instead as they get near, turn into Dark One like creatures that begin to try to eat Kira and Luci since they are closer*
<DeathStar> *their shadows closing around them*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "What a surprise." *blasts one*
<Seraphna> **Luci forms a shield around herself and pushes them back, then lashes out with a Shard Blade**
<Seraphna> Luci> Hey, Jaime, since yuou can hear this, Dark Ones SUPER confirmed.
<Xanatos> 6* Logan activates the axe and lunches out for the closest one doing a big ol chop.
<DeathStar> *Selena blinks at the scene, stepping back and grabbing her weapon*
<DeathStar> *the creatures are repelled and blasted, logan cutting another one in half*
<Jackieness> <Kira> *pulls her hands from her pockets, pulling a matched set of blades and slashing at the Dark One creature comign at her*
<Seraphna> **Luci follows up by forming her round arm shield and Captain America'ing it at them**
<Ariel> * Nicolette arrives dramatically, blasting a creature with a bolt of energy from her cane.
<DeathStar> *Kira and Nicolette blast away the remaining ones and there are no traces left but unconscious men*
<Alicia> <Sparkling> "Nice timing!"
<DeathStar> *some mechanics peek out and stare, blinking*
<DeathStar> <Cypher> ... *stomps toward a mechanic and they run off*

<Jackieness> <Kira> "...so they are jumping into locals now."
<Xanatos> <Logan> Well do we need to chat with Ylva now or is this enough proof to go lay a smackdown?
